Audrianna's POV
Today has been a pretty.. unproductive. McKenzie and my dad were throwing knives at this dart board for who knows what reason, Charlotte and Kelly were feeding Ally, Jasper was up at Junk N' Stuff, Schwoz was doing some science-y stuff like usual, then there's me and Henry who were watching videos of kids tripping over.
I know, I know, that's not nice.. blah blah blah.. but c'mon. It's funny.
We watched the video, laughing lightly from time to time from the kids falling.
"We are horrible people." Henry signed
"Yeah.."
McKenzie threw a knife on the board, the knife perfectly landing in the middle.
"Hey! No fair, you were cheating!" my dad whined
"No she wasn't, she just has better aim." Kelly rolled her eyes, holding up the milk bottle for baby Ally
"Nuh-uh!"
"Yuh-uh." Schwoz muttered back
"Just admit it, Ray. McKenzie has better aim than you." Charlotte stared at him
"Hah. See?" the older woman smirked teasingly at him
"Oh, shush. Anyone can do that with their eyes closed."
"Not you." I muttered, earning a giggle from Henry
"Oh yeah? Let's see you try it, young lady." my dad pulled the dagger out and handed it to me as I sat upright and closed both eyes
I was actually pretty unsure of how to aim it, so.. I just threw it in a random direction and hoped I didn't accidentally stab someone.
Everyone gasped as I opened my eyes, surprisingly, the dart landed in the middle of the dart board.
"Woah!"
"Damn!"
"Ohhhh!"
"You probably opened your eyes!" my dad spat out
"Okay.. then you close my eyes."
Schwoz handed me back the dagger as my dad put his hands over my eyes.
I froze for a moment, trying to aim the knife before I chucked it forward.
"Again?!"
"How?!"
I smiled cheekily as my dad removed his hands from my eyes.
"Hey, guys. Do you ever wonder what Jasper does upstairs all day?" McKenzie blurted out
"I don't know, he probably just--"
"I got a huge problem! I'm panicking and I'm freaking out!" Jasper bursted out the elevator and started pacing in the middle of the Man Cave.
"Jasper, what is going o--" I got cut off by him grabbing my hand and dragging me to the elevator.
The doors closed as I stared at him in surprise.
"Audrianna, I am freaking out! I don't know what to do- I am panicking!"
...
"Dude, you don't just randomly drag people inside elevators."
"I'm sorry, I was panicking, okay?!"
"No shit." I sighed "Just- tell me what's going on."
"Okay, okay. So- there's this girl in our school who's really really pretty and she seems nice, and I kinda.. maybe want to ask her out."
"Jasp, that's amazing." I beamed "So do it."
"The problem is I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because! You know.. I've never really had any luck with girls.."
"Please, you dated my best friend, I'd consider that to be lucky." I crossed my arms
"Yeah, but I was an idiot and broke up with her." he looked down sadly
"Okay, why exactly are you asking me to help you?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"I mean, you're the one with the most dating experience. Please? Can you just help me out.."
"I- what do you want me to do anyways?"
"Help me ask her out. C'mon, what do I say to her that guarantees that I won't end up inside her pool with my pants over my head?"
I scrunched up my nose in confusion "Uhm.. see, Jasper. The thing is.. I don't exactly know how to ask out a guy. Let alone a girl."
"Pleaaase!" he pleased "You're a girl, how do you want to be asked out?"
"Uhm- let's see.. just make it nice and simple. Like uh.. 'Hey, I'm Jasper, I think you're really pretty, do you want to go out for dinner sometime?'."
"You really think it'll work?"
"I mean- sure, I don't know--"
"Can you and Henry please come with us? Like a double date?" Jasper begged "I can't do this alone.."
"Okay, okay.. I guess it could be a double date."
"Thank you!" he wrapped me into a comforting embrace
I noticed him hold on to me for a while, as if he was frozen on the spot and doesn't want to let go. After a bit, I pulled back to notice an awkward and embarrassed look on his face.

Surprisingly, Jasper managed to ask the girl out.
Huh. Turns out "nice and simple" worked. Even for Jasper.

Henry and I were currently waiting outside the restaurant for him and his date.
He chuckled lightly "Even with heels you're short as fuck."
"Suck my ass." I rolled my eyes
"I'd love to." he whispered in my ear, his hot breath sending chills down my spine
"Fuck you."
"Love you too, baby."
"Hey, hope we're not late." Jasper finally arrived with a nice looking girl
"Hi! I'm Sophie. You guys must be Henry and Audrianna?" she smiled politely
"Hi, it is so nice to finally meet you." I smiled back
"Never in my life have I ever thought that Jasper would manage to pull a normal girl." Henry muttered to me, making me jab his waist as he winced in pain
"How about we just go in?" the smile returned back to my face

It was absolute awkward silence. Until Henry finally spoke up.
"So.. Sophie, how exactly did you and Jasper meet?"
"Oh. We were both rushing to our classes and ended up bumping into each other." she giggled slightly "Just a simple meet-cute if you know what I mean."
I nodded in agreement "Well, it certainly is cute."
"I remember him stuttering when he was talking to me. It was such a cute sight to see."
"Awww.."
"Why can't we be like this?" Henry mumbled to me
"But we are like this." I furrowed my eyebrows
"Mmmm.. not exactly."
"Okay, what are you on about?" my eyes narrowed
"Nothing. Forget I said anything."
"No. I don't think I will."
"Just drop it."
"What do you mean by 'not exactly'?"
"We're not that sweet with each other."
"What are you yapping about? We are."
"Mm.. no.." he shook his head "Most of the time it's just you screaming at me."
I scoffed "Yeah because most of the time it's just you being a prick."
"Oh, I'm the prick now?"
"Yes, yes you are." - "Really? Wow."
"Why are you being so salty all of a sudden?"
"You started it."
"You added on to it."
"Yeah! Because it was bothering me!"
"See, this is what I was saying."
"Excuse me? Excuse my language but I don't always fucking yell at you!"
"You're yelling at me right now."
"Yeah, because you're being a prick!"
"I'm not happy with our relationship!" Henry blurted out, making me freeze in my tracks as a few people stared at us
"How are we supposed to be sweet with each other if you can't even act atleast a little bit patient towards me?" he added, a bit quieter this time
I sighed and rubbed my temples "I never asked for our relationship to be perfect."
Henry scoffed, crossing his arms "Oh right. It's my fault the relationship is failing."
I stared at him for a moment before speaking "Yes. It is."
We looked away from each other for a moment, I could tell that it was becoming awkward for Jasper and Sophie but c'mon, Henry's being a dick.
My eyes glanced towards them who were whispering quietly while awkwardly smiling at each other.
"Whew.. when is the waiter gonna come take our order?" Sophie chuckled awkwardly

"Bye." Jasper grabbed my hand and dragged me to the back, near the kitchens.
"Jasper! What the hell, dude?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"I'm sorry, I panicked! I'm just so nervous to talk to her." he whisper-yelled
"Jasper, darling.. has it ever occurred to you that maybe I am kind of dealing with something right now?"
".. no."
"Dude- nevermind, what do you want me to do?"
"I-I don't know, make me look like a good person?"
"Jasper, I- ah, what the hell, fine."
"Thank you!" Jasper exclaimed as I was leaving
"You two were gone for a while." Henry took a sip of his drink as we approached our table.
"Don't start with me." I rolled my eyes
"What- what were you two talking about back there?" Sophie wondered
"Nothing. You know, you are a very lucky gal to be able to go out on a date with Jasper." I beamed
"Really?"
"Yeah.. he's a sweet guy. He's handsome, charming, funny, he's absolutely adorable--"
"Wait. Handsome?" - "Adorable?" - "You think I'm handsome and adorable?"
My eyes went wide "That came out wrong."
"Do- do you like.. Jasper?" her eyes widened
"You like me?!"
"What?! No! Help me out here!" I turned to Henry
"No thanks." he gave me a cheeky grin
Sophie gasped "So he was right! You two do have a thing going on!"
"Serah, no- Audrianna and I are just friends. A-And besides! She has a boyfriend!"
"Yeah! Who she clearly fought with because she was in love with you!"
"I'm not in love with him!" - "She's not in love with me!"
"I'm leaving!" she quickly stood up, alerting Jasper who immediately followed her outside.
"Henry, what did you tell her?" I swiftly turned to him with a glare
"Why would you think I said something?"
I signed, trying to prevent myself from lashing out "Because.. Henry. Before Jasper and I left, everything was going well. And when we came back.. Sophie started acting weirdly. And you happened to be alone with her when we left."
...
"What did you tell her."
"Okay, you remember a few years ago when Jasper had this girlfriend who turned psychotic because he thought that you and Charlotte liked him?" he blurted out
"Ah, yes. How could I forget the day that my head almost got sliced off?" I smiled sarcastically at him
"Yeah.. uhm. Well, it's kind of like that again. This time, I hope she doesn't go on a psychotic rampage."
"Sophie, wait!" I heard Jasper yell, making me look away for a moment before turning back to Henry "I'll deal with you later."
I got up from my seat and tried catching up with Jasper and Sophie with Henry trailing behind me.
Hey, cut me some slack. It's hard to run in heels.
"Sophie, wait, stop.." Jasper pleaded "I'm sorry.."
"No!" she turned to him "Do you know why you don't have a girlfriend?? Because you're a dirty liar with a slutty girlfriend! So you can take that fake apology, and shove it right up your hairy--"
Sophie got cut off by a bus driving right over her.
All of our jaws dropped as we took a minute to process what the fuck just happened.
"You certainly don't see that everyday.." Jasper spoke up

I was at my mom's house, ranting about today's events. She's such an amazing listener and she doesn't even care about how often I rant.
"Yeah.. and then she got hit by a bus."
"Oh, God." her eyes widened as she continued stroking my hair "Is she dead?"
"Nah.. she just got put into a neck cast.."
"Okay. Wait, wait.. so, Sophie got upset because she thought that you and Jasper had something going on between you two?"
"Mhm."
"How did Henry react to that?"
"He was still bitchy about our fight. He wouldn't back me up."
She scoffed, taking a sip of her beer "You know, if his sorry ass breaks up with you, I'll run him over with my car."
"What if I was the one who broke up with him?" I looked up at her
"I'll still run him over with my car."
I grinned, nuzzling my head into her shoulder "You're the best."
The doorbell rang, making me groan as my mom got up to answer it.
I zoned out so I didn't really bother to see who it was, but after a bit, I zoned back to reality when mom spoke up.
"Hey. Barbie, Ken's here to talk to you." she smiled teasingly
I sighed before walking out the door as my mom closed it behind us.
"You got something to say, Ken?" I crossed my arms
Henry rolled his eyes "I'm sorry for being such a jackass earlier."
"And?"
"Seriously?"
"I don't forgive you." I looked away
He smiled amusingly "You're the sweetest, most nicest girlfriend I've ever had."
"Damn right." I grinned cheekily, kissing him on the lips for a short while
"Now say it back."
"No."
Henry pouted, making me whine.
"Fine.. you're the sweetest, most nicest boyfriend I've ever had." I smiled
"I know." he kissed my cheek
