I started this book forever ago, it feels.
I don't really have a reason for why I stopped working on it - even though I got a decent amount of Book 1 finished. Probably because I know I have a horrible track record with series.
However, with life being crazy and stressful and all, I found myself coming back to it. And decided I'd try posting it here. I hope you guys enjoy it. It's not my usual fare - though I could argue that I've been writing fantasy far longer than mystery/thriller. Just that on Wattpad, I've mostly stuck to posting those.
Coming back to this story kind of feels like coming home to visit. I've always felt a warm connection to the Ozarks, even though I didn't spend as much time there as Rosie did. It's where my grandmother's family is from, and I've always found it beautiful. I can only hope these words do it justice.
I'm going to start with updating once a week until I get more done. I do have a lot of it already written, so I'm hoping this inspires me to finally finish it AND to keep going on to book 2. Hopefully...
