Wheeljack groaned as he opened his optics,
"Oh, I am so not getting used to that,"
He heard gasps around him and looked to see a crowd of his friends around him. Bulkhead immediately hugged him,
"Jackie!"
Wheeljack laughed,
"Hi, Bulk!"
Miko expertly climbed up him and sat on his chassis,
"Maze?"
Wheeljack sighed and slowly stood up, putting Miko gently on the ground,
"Where is Jack?"
Arcee frowned, but she pointed to her charge, who was standing up from the couch,
"What is it?"
"Do you still have the key to Vector Sigma?"
Jack frowned,
"How did you know? You left before the debriefing,"
Wheeljack knelt down in front of him,
"Because, Jack, Vector Sigma is the only hope that there is to get Mazikeen healed,"
Ratchet frowned,
"That does not make sense. Did you not take her to the human doctors over there?"
Wheeljack nodded,
"No one could do anything. She lost too much power defeating Unicron. According to their Ratchet, the last time something similar to that happened was when Optimus and she fought against the Fallen Prime. But she was woken up after her little brother spoke to Primus."
Optimus nodded his head,
"Alright, we have been attempting to get passage to Cybertron. I thought about that as well, as Mazikeen is the vessel for the AllSpark power, she must get a...power boost. Once we learn how to bridge to Cybertron, I will retrieve what is needed from Vector Sigma,"
Wheeljack shook his head as the proximity sensors went off,
"Sorry, boss, but only two humans can do it,"
Miko frowned,
"Whose at our door?"
Wheeljack smirked,
"The backup,"
They turned to see Phoenix and Samantha flying in and landing. Miko's eyes brightened,
"PHOENIX!"
The girl ran over to her, and Alexandra laughed,
"Wow, we got a big fan girl for you,"
Miko tilted her head,
"Who are you?"
Phoenix slowly went back into her device and showed a smirking Alexandra Witwicky,
"Hey, my name is Alexandra, but you can call me Alexa. I'm Maze's cousin,"
Samantha nodded and smirked at Wheeljack,
"Hey, Wheeljack!"
Wheeljack narrowed his optics at her,
"Yes?"
"Alexa has a stronger stomach over here than you do. She barely flinched at the teleporting,"
Alexandra winced,
"Yeah, I hate it though,"
Miko laughed,
"Can I-"
"NO!"
Miko pouted as everyone glared at her. Jack looked over at Wheeljack,
"Wait, who are the two?"
Alexandra put her hand up and looked at Wheeljack,
"Let me do the talking,"
Wheeljack raised his servos in surrender and took a step back as everyone looked at the young Witwicky. Alexandra took a second to look around and felt her heart stop at Optimus, she knew it wasn't her Optimus, but the resemblance was uncanny,
"Okay, I was actually literally just given a gift from Primus, don't ask me what it was cuz I have no clue what it was, the dude speaks in riddles. But, for this mission to work, there are only two people who have the blessing from Primus or Maze. I was given the blessing from Primus...and Jack...you were given a blessing from my cousin,"
Jack frowned in confusion,
"What?"
Alexandra nodded,
"Yeah, trust me, I was lost at that too. She cares about you kids. I haven't talked to her just yet...ya know...cuz she's kinda very much unconscious. But I know her enough to say this. She will do everything in her power to make sure kids don't get raised like she did. She knew early on that she wanted to join the army that's her happy place for some reason. But I understood why as soon as I joined. Enough about that. Do you remember what she said when she saw you had the key?"
Jack sighed and glanced at Optimus,
"That I was the right choice and that she would have given it to me too if she was in Optimus's shoes,"
Wheeljack crossed his arms,
"Which is her way of blessing you,"
Alexandra nodded,
"She knew that Optimus would never hurt anyone, whether that's because of our Optimus or not. She knew he would pick the right person."
Jack nodded,
"Alright, now what?"
Wheeljack smirked,
"Now, we get ourselves to Cybertron,"
Raf frowned,
"But, we haven't been able to find a way yet,"
Samantha laughed,
"The key word in that is yet,"
Optimus slowly nodded,
"We have extra hands now. Let's figure out how to-"
"PRIME!!!!!!!"
Everyone winced at the voice of Agent Fowler. He stormed in and stopped at seeing Alexandra and Samantha,
"Okay, I won't ask about that, but is Mazikeen alright now?"
Alexandra shook her head,
"No."
Fowler sighed in defeat before looking at Optimus,
"The cons are back to building another...what did you call it? Space Bridge? I just had a con attacking another Base of mine,"
Alexandra gasped,
"A space bridge?!"
She felt her heart stop as flashbacks of what just happened a month ago came rushing back. Phoenix immediately deployed in front of her and put a hand on her shoulder,
"Alex, breathe,"
Alexandra felt her heart pull as she heard Mazikeen's voice through a recording from Phoenix,
"H-How?"
Phoenix crossed her arms,
"What? You really think I wouldn't have your cousin's voice nailed down by now?"
Optimus frowned at her,
"Are you alright, Alexandra?"
Alexandra shook her head and sighed,
"Y-Yeah...just some minor flashbacks, it's okay...but if the cons are building a Space Bridge, we have to stop them before they bring-"
"Alexa, this is not our universe,"
Alexandra tilted her head in confusion,
"I know b-"
"Stop and listen,"
Alexandra sighed and nodded. Miko smirked,
"Why not just go all out and take over their Space Bridge when they finish it?"
Everyone looked at Miko, and she shrugged,
"What? I think that would be fun. That way, we can get Alexa and Jack over to Cybertron,"
Amber transformed and landed on Miko's shoulder and nodded her head,
"I believe that Miko has a good point. If we can get hold of the Space Bridge, it would be easier to get them to Cybertron, and fast,"
Alexandra gasped,
"Woah, I'm guessing Maze created you?"
Amber nodded,
"Yes,"
Phoenix flew up to Optimus's optic level and looked at him,
"We must take over their space bridge, Maze does not have a lot of time,"
Optimus nodded,
"Alright. Let us prepare ourselves,"
Jack winced,
"Oh, I have to tell my mom,"
Everyone winced at that except Alexandra and Samantha, who looked at him in confusion. Alexandra shrugged,
"Let me speak to her. I was told by Maze that I can be very convincing,"
Jack nodded, and before he could say another word, his mother appeared in her car,
"Am I interrupting?"
She noticed the two newcomers and recognized Samantha as the one who had taken Mazikeen back,
"Is Mazikeen alright?"
Alexandra shook her head,
"No. We need help getting her back,"
June frowned,
"Getting her back?"
Alexandra sighed and nodded,
"Yeah. She has a large source of energy called the AllSpark, and it's pretty similar to the life source of Cybertronians. She was given that power four years ago when she met our Autobots. Defeating Unicron took a giant toll on her energy, and she...she's dying-"
Miko gasped,
"Hey! You didn't mention that!"
Alexandra winced,
"Yeah. Sorry if I don't want to think about my cousin dying-"
Miko frowned and sat down on the floor with Amber on her head,
"Sorry,"
Alexandra nodded her head at her before turning back to June,
"Maze is my older cousin. You might have seen the scars and look she has since you are a nurse. But the only thing that can save my cousin is in Vector Sigma. Only one person has the ability to get inside Vector Sigma...and I wish there was another way, but the instructions were clear. Jack Darby is the only one who holds the key to Vector Sigma, and he's the only one who can find it."
June frowned,
"Where is Vector Sigma?"
Alexandra frowned and glanced quickly at Jack,
"Cybertron,"
June gasped and glared at the Autobots and Jack,
"Jack! You are not going to an entirely new planet!"
Jack winced,
"M-"
"No buts! Not when one of them can do it!"
Alexandra stood in front of her,
"Miss Darby, Jack is the only one that can do it!"
June narrowed her eyes at the younger woman in front of her,
"Who told you that?"
Wheeljack sighed, and everyone looked up at him,
"Primus."
The Autobots' optics widened along with the kids while June frowned in confusion,
"Whose Primus?"
Alexandra smirked,
"Primus is their version of God. But he is very much real in presence,"
Optimus looked at Wheeljack,
"You spoke to Primus?"
Wheeljack winced and nodded,
"Yeah. Well, I wasn't alone. It happened when I was looking over Maze in their universe. I went into stasis, and when I opened my optics, I saw Maze. We were on Cybertron and she was much calmer than I was, I didn't know what was happening. Then she told me that Primus was going to come over to speak to us, which really confused me even more. But he did appear, as a holo-form, oh and Miko, I think you would have thought he was hot, given your taste in humans. Primus explained that only Jack would be able to find Vector Sigma and get what we needed from inside, because Mazikeen gave him her blessing. He said that I would be able to help him get there. Mazikeen wasn't all that happy with Jack being brought into this, but it's the only way to save her life. She has done so much for us, please June, let us save our friend,"
June sighed and glanced at her son,
"Jack?"
Jack walked up to her and placed his hands on her shoulder,
"Mom, Maze has been protecting us since she popped out of nowhere. I want to do this for her as a repayment,"
June sighed,
"Fine, but how are you getting there?"
Optimus looked at her,
"We will be commandeering a Space Bridge that the Decepticons are almost finished building,"
Alexandra nodded,
"And don't worry about Jack's protection. I will be watching him every step of the way with Arcee and Wheeljack,"
Arcee nodded,
"You have my word that your son will be safe,"
June sighed,
"Alright, just return home safely,"
Jack hugged his mom,
"I will, I promise,"
Fowler handed Jack a spacesuit,
"Here, put this on before you all head over,"
Jack nodded and left to put it on, with his mother following him. Alexandra quickly had Phoenix encase her again and flew up to Ratchet,
"I need you to connect Phoenix temporarily with your comms. She told me that she wasn't able to communicate with you guys,"
Ratchet nodded,
"I will give you a communicator,"
He handed her two comms, one for her and one for Jack. Alexandra nodded and smiled at him,
"Don't worry, doc, we will be alright. I've survived worse,"
Ratchet frowned,
"You are still young for a human,"
Alexandra shrugged,
"I know, but that doesn't mean we don't go through a lot. My cousin tried her best to protect me from the bad, but she got hit pretty bad before our last fight, so she was out of commission when I left the base with Phoenix. If I didn't have the experience over Jack with Phoenix, I would have given her to Jack."
Ratchet sighed,
"Your universe is so different from ours,"
Alexandra smirked,
"I wouldn't have it any other way. I have my family with my Autobots. I know you have your lil family over here too,"
Ratchet smiled and glanced around,
"Yes, I do,"
Alexandra patted his servo,
"Everything will be alright,"
"I sure hope so,"
Jack came out and smiled,
"I'm ready,"
Optimus nodded,
"Then, let us get started. Autobots! Roll out!"
Ratchet started a Ground Bridge, and they all left through it.
