Chapter 1: Gas Station Massacre

25 2 1
By GoldenEiffel

Meanwhile somewhere else...

In the dead of night, when the storm was still brewing, the gas station, a quiet, dark place in the woods, was filled with the scent of gasoline and a neon sign that proclaimed "Open 24 Hours." The only movement was the occasional rustle of leaves and the gentle breeze carrying distant traffic. Inside, fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting stark shadows on the linoleum floor. Shelves lined with snacks and drinks were neatly arranged, with colorful labels competing for attention. The air was tinged with the aroma of stale coffee and cigarette smoke, a reminder of countless late-night conversations. A bored cashier idly flipped through a magazine behind the counter, checking the empty parking lot outside. The only sound was the soft whir of refrigerators and the occasional beep of the cash register. The gas station was a place caught between worlds, neither fully awake nor fully asleep, existing in a liminal space where time seemed to stand still.

A truck recently parked with its driver coming out, The driver approached the cashier, they were wearing a raincoat, and judging by their look, they seemed to have a rock-like quirk, they approached the bored cashier in the rainy storm.

"Hello! I want to ask. Do you know where the bathroom is?" The bored cashier ignored the driver. "Hello? I'm talking to you?" The driver continued asking the driver until their co-worker behind them answered, "It's on the left, you could easily spot it."

"Yeah, thanks." The driver thanked them before they left, and their co-worker looked at the cashier "Y'know you should help more!" Their co-worker chastises, The cashier shrugs in boredom. "Honestly you're such a lazy otaku, Only using your money to buy more figurines and manga." They complained before leaving, The cashier ignored them, as they focused on the magazine filled with promoting upcoming anime for this season.

The bored cashier still deep within the magazine finally noticed a change when a car parked in the gas station seemed heavily influenced by the heavy storm last night within the parking lot. A person came out of the car, they couldn't see the person because of the constant darkness, But the way they moved was simple but very robotic, like each step had a purpose behind it, and it crept and weirded out him so he hoped the person ignored them, and when the person passed them, they sighed in contempt not having to deal with them.

A few minutes have passed now and everything is, quieter than usual, He looks around, not seeing his coworkers anywhere, He stands up and looks around for a bit, The gas station consists of a convenience store, truck stop, diner, and more.

The cashier looked around but gave up halfway through, so they returned to the cash register, They put away their magazine and instead brought one of the mangas they brought from home and read them. They heard a door opening behind them, expecting it was their co-worker who complained about their lack of work ethic. They ignored what was probably their co-worker, but then they tapped their shoulder, He sighed as he turned his chair around, "What do you want-" He asked before his head was grabbed by the table, then his face in one quick swell swoop smashes his face on the counter, continually in great fast speeds smash his face till the inch of his life, yet despite that, the assailant wasn't done with the head and continually smash his face to a pulp, yet despite the brutal display, there was a carefulness to keep the victim alive long enough for what they were planning, he then carefully and slowly aim his head to the counter almost like he wants the victim to realize what's happening then in one big fast swoop smash his face on the table for one last time, the victim feeling like his jaw opened more than it should for a split second till his vision turns to black, thus ending his life.

In the morning, as the sun began to rise, the police mobilized to investigate the road where the prison transport had gone missing. After hours of searching, they finally stumbled upon the vehicle's wreckage.

The scene filled with the bodies of the unfortunate break out, the two heroes accompanying the transport now dead alongside a multitude of prisoners and guards alongside the dogs, bullet holes seen throughout the car and the victims seemingly killed using a sharp object. The way the wounds and kills were sliced seems to belong to a professional, like a butcher or a surgeon, yet the way they were killed was almost like the killer was admiring the victims they snuff out, Blood and guts spread through the scene of misery and suffering.

Approaching the scene of the crash was Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. Towering above his colleagues, Tsukauchi with his short black hair, tan overcoat, and matching hat.

"Detective Tsukauchi," greeted a lean policeman called Sansa with the head of a ginger tabby cat, dressed in a pale blue button-up shirt and protective vests adorned with a golden bell. Together, they surveyed the grim aftermath before them.

"I've seen my fair share of murder scenes, but this..." Tsukauchi's voice trailed off as he took in the carnage before him. "This is a massacre," he declared bluntly, his usually composed demeanor betraying a hint of disbelief.

Indeed, the scene was a grisly tableau of death and destruction, with the small details described earlier merely scratching the surface of the horror that lay before them. Even the most seasoned officers found themselves struggling to maintain their composure in the face of such brutality.

Turning his attention to the blood trail leading to tire tracks, Tsukauchi inquired about the investigation. "Did you look into the tire tracks?" he asked, his keen gaze scanning the area for clues.

"We did. No sign of the vehicle, but we found something else," one of the officers replied, gesturing towards a nearby body bag. "An innocent bystander caught up in the chaos." With a mixture of dread and determination, Tsukauchi approached the body bag, bracing himself for what he was about to see.

Upon uncovering the body, Tsukauchi recoiled at the sight before him. The precision of the attack, coupled with the makeshift weapon protruding from the victim's foot, hinted at a methodical and calculated killer. "Looks like we'll need forensics to make sense of this," he muttered grimly, his mind racing with possibilities.

Escorted to the crime scene, Tsukauchi surveyed the police tape encircling the area, his gaze lingering on the white outline marking where the innocent victim had fallen. "How many survived?" he inquired, his thoughts drifting toward the grim task ahead.

"A few villains, a doctor, and that's it. The rest..." the officer's voice trailed off, leaving the implication hanging in the air.

As Tsukauchi pieced together the events leading up to the tragedy, his thoughts turned to the impending UA Sports Festival. The recent outbreak of villain activity would undoubtedly cast a shadow over the prestigious event, adding to his already overwhelming workload.

Sighing inwardly, Tsukauchi couldn't help but lament the mountain of paperwork that awaited him, exacerbated by the added burden of dealing with paperwork from his colleague, Toshinori. "Just a few days before the sports festival," he mused to himself, his shoulders sagging with the weight of responsibility. "The paperwork never ends." He sighs as he looks at the officer. "Tell me, who escaped?"

"Not really much special, a few A-class here and there, but it's expected for a highly secured transport such as this, but one stood out a quirkless fella, he goes by the name, Micheal Myers, the strange thing is that we have nothing, little to no information about him beyond just his face and name, No birth certificate or where he came from or anything beyond a name and face, but his quirkless so he shouldn't be no problem finding him tho, a piece of cake, We should leave the high-class villains to the heroes, although with the escape, it could cause concern to the public due to how close it is to the sports festival." The officer answered as Tsukauchi thanked him and went to his car.

He quickly got into his car alongside fellow Officer Sansa Tamakawa, They both got ready as they drove through the dense woods, He tried to forget the disturbing scene he saw before him the many, many bodies in the crime scene slightly disturbed him. He quickly turns on the radio to hopefully forget the crime scene.

Hours passed as the car made its way through the road, the birds chirped, and the sun shone the great blue sky, It was what most call a perfect day, unfortunately, the so-called perfect day was ruined for the detective ever since he saw the grisly scene, The radio still playing whatever is on to hope to drown out these thoughts, He thought he saw it all, all the worst things that humanity can offer, he has been to many villain and crime scenes and saw the worst, from illegal experimentation, trafficking, slavery, rape, pedophilia, and more dead bodies than you can count so how can a simple murder scene push him to the edge, what was it that made him physically nauseous, He was deep in thought until Naomasa noticed the car was low on gas, luckily he quickly spotted a gas station, and quickly parked.

He looks at his partner Officer Sansa "Sansa? Do you want anything?"

"Not really, although I do feel the need to go to the restrooms," Sansa explained

"Suit yourself, I'm going to fill up the gas and get myself something," Naomasa said as both officers left the car, Sansa quickly went to the restrooms while Naomasa grabbed the dispenser nozzle and put it in the fuel tank entrance, while he waits a few minutes before its full. He then went to the cash register, when he noticed the cashier wasn't there. He looks over the register and notices the dead cashier, They were slumped over, with their face hidden due to it being on the table, the detective takes a closer look and tries to see the state of the cashier, and judging by their looks they seem to have a mutant quirk that gives them horns, although it's hard to tell due to the greatly bludgeoned faces, the body seems to be male and they were killed by what seems to be a blunt object. Judging by their face, their jaw was brutally broken apart way too wide for anyone to have, it seems that the victim was hit so hard on the counter that his jaw was ripped open, and the detective also noticed that his teeth were ripped out.

He quickly left and proceeded to call on the radio "Sansa! We have a situation here! Answer me!" but when no one answered back he tried calling again and when no one answered, he called for a third time, thinking of the worst scenario, he quickly looks for Sansa, now on high alert, he looked around for his partner till he finally bumped into him. "Sansa, I think we have a problem. I encountered a body here."

"I think so too, I Encountered a body."

"Where?"

"In the restrooms in one of the stalls."

Sansa quickly led Naomasa to the restrooms and into one of the stalls to see the dead body of what seemed to be a truck driver and judging by the look, they seemed to have a rock-like quirk. Just like the cashier, their face is greatly misshapen, the body lying on the floor, their guts stabbed with a hunter knife, spilling their guts and blood, and their hand badly injured, fingers broken and misshapen, wrist twisted, and more grisly description of the body that not even I could properly describe

Judging from the walls, position, and state of the stalls, It seems like the driver tried to defend themselves and in a last moment of desperation, tried to use his quirk, which according to the law, even using quirks without permission, even for self-defense can get you arrested and even be branded as a villain, of course, such things don't matter since he is dead and not even his quirk protected him from the attacker.

Naomasa with determination on his face, He looks to Sansa who also nodded.

"So how do we go about this? Search the bodies? Check the cameras? Start with a quick sweep?" Sansa asked the detective

"We should start with a quick sweep, then check the cameras, and finally search the bodies." Tsukauchi answered "It's important to get as much information as possible before making any assumptions. Let's stay vigilant and stay alert."

"That sounds like a good plan to me. Let's get to it." The officer nodded as they went to start the search, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.

They left the bathroom and entered the gas station with caution, they passed by the previously mentioned cashier and went inside the gas station. As they entered the gas station they passed by two bodies, one hanging from the ceiling hung by chains surrounding him tightly including around the mouth impaled by a metal rod stabbed through his body and another body seemingly beaten to death with a hammer, with blood laying on the floor, blood spilling out, and the murder weapon next to it full of blood. Both bodies seem to belong to the mechanics of the station with one of them stripped to their underwear.

Not deterred by the bodies, they head further inside into what seems to be a dining area for customers, on the other side of the counter, another body was spotted, a dead servant or waiter of the restaurant, probably female if they have to guess. While searching for clues, one of them notices it's eerily quiet, like something's off. Then you hear something, a slight noise coming from the back room. It sounds like...footsteps.

Hearing the footsteps, Sansa and Naomasa turn to look at the back room.

"Do you hear that?" Sansa asked for confirmation as they listened for the footsteps again. "What's that coming from back there?" Sansa wondered

Suddenly, Tsukauchi hears the footsteps stop. It's quiet momentarily, then you hear the door creak open. He can't make out any details in the shadows but he can tell it's someone he has to be careful with.

"Stay ready, I'm going to check it out. Do. Not. Lower. Your. Guard." Naomasa told his partner full of caution

"Understood."

Sansa and Naomasa watch as the person steps from the shadows. They tense and prepare for anything that might happen next.

As he steps out, They can only see a silhouette of a tall man. The two can't tell what he looks like but it gives off a strong sense of terror.

It's the Shape, Micheal Myers, the boogeyman. Of course, the two officers don't know him as such or his name, but in these short encounters, they will.

Micheal seems to be looking around the gas station and he's not paying attention to them yet but in case, they'll stay focused.

Sansa and Naomasa stay focused and ready to react quickly to anything that might happen. They continue to watch closely as Michael walks around, keeping their guards up.

Naomasa watches as Micheal walks around, looking at everything. Then, he suddenly looks towards them and he can feel him staring at him. He doesn't make any move towards the detective but it's clear that he knows that the two officers are there. He just keeps staring, never once breaking eye contact with you both.

"He's staring at us!" Sansa whispers to Naomasa. Who is also scared but can't seem to look away from him never breaking contact. Sansa's heart starts beating faster as he feels the intensity of Michael's stare. He tries to stay as still as he can, trying to avoid drawing his attention.

Micheal's gaze was still intense, although it wasn't necessarily intense to the point where you should be scared to death. However, when you look at his bandage face again, his eyes seemingly to be filled with nothing but darkness in them, the devil's eyes, Micheal judging by his reaction seems to be indicating that he's locked on to his next target... Them. The two stay still however, you notice, that Micheal starts moving towards the two. It's slow, but it's consistent.

Sansa was starting to get nervous about everything, he felt like Michael would start chasing them anytime soon as he was getting closer to them. He looks over at Naomasa, ensuring he is paying attention, and noticing the same thing.

Naomasa also can't seem to move, all of his years of training, all of his years serving in the force, seeing everything the world of villains has offered, all of his experience gone in a flash when encountering this... Shape. His eyes unfocused, his hands shaky, why is he like this... What made this person that seemingly filled him with fear to the point of doing nothing but stand there like an idiot, they faced and saw the worst villains yet what makes him so special?

The pair start shifting around in anticipation...getting ready to bolt out of the gas station, or to fight Michael.

Sansa breathes in anticipation and watches as Michael continues to get closer. He starts sweating a little bit out of fear, unsure of what they should do next. He looks at Naomasa, wondering how they should handle the situation. If they tried to run out of the gas station, would Michael catch them before they could make it out? If they try to fight him, would they be able to win? Whatever he and Naomasa choose to do, he feels like the two of them are in trouble.

Suddenly Micheal Myers disappears like he was never there, Tsukauchi and Tamaka are confused, They thought they were going to die but they sighed in relief, suddenly they both heard noises in the kitchen, they feared the worst.

As they look over to the kitchen, they see the dark and dim kitchen. But, they'd see a figure there, it was standing still, not moving but was very ominous and sinister. They knew instantly, that it was Micheal Myers. But, how could that be? Did Micheal teleport? Is it his quirk, teleportation? Or, maybe this is a different, but similar individual? They couldn't tell. But, it was obvious what their next move should be: Investigate.

Sansa sighed a breath of relief but then noticed that something was off. Michael had disappeared and he was just starting to relax...and then he felt a chill run down her spine.

There, in the dim kitchen, he noticed something, and he knew who it was. It was Michael, standing there menacingly. With a quick look over to Naomasa, they both knew that they had to investigate, they had to be cautious and be ready for anything.

As they both entered the kitchen, both of them tensed up, being on high alert. At first, everything looked normal... however... there was a slight smell of blood, it wasn't overwhelming and was very faint but the two knew, it was there. Which made this situation a whole lot more unsettling and dangerous. So, they stayed on high alert whilst looking around for any more clues, or, Micheal.

The two entered the Kitchen, and they saw Micheal Myers, holding a bloody crowbar, and his face bandage up, It seemed he hadn't gotten his mask and knife yet, Tsukauchi lined up his gun and got ready to shoot, but the moment he pulled the trigger, Micheal disappears almost like he teleported which confused the two cops.

"Where the hell did he go?" Sansa would ask as Naomasa fires a round. "He was just here and now he's gone?!?" He would ask as he watched around, hoping that they could keep track of him. It was clear that Michael was able to move fast and seemed to have a quirk ability to teleport, so he wanted to try and remain alert of the situation. A quirk ability of teleportation is quite rare, so for this killer to have such an ability seems to be very bad.

Naomasa had turned his gun in the direction of where Michael had been last seen as he disappeared, he was spooked by the way Michael was able to vanish and reappear randomly so his gun stayed raised. 'So his quirk is teleportation or something similar like speed.' The detective reasoned.

"Stay behind me, and check every corner," he said to Sansa with a quick, quiet glance at him before he began to inspect the kitchen, looking around cautiously and ready to respond should any threat appear. The detective is now on high alert for a killer with a teleportation or speed quirk.

Sansa nodded and moved behind Naomasa. He tried to keep a low profile and tried to hide his presence, to hopefully not draw any attention. He tried to keep himself low, searching around wherever he could, careful to stay out of Michael's sight.

He felt terrified that it was just the two of them in this position. He could easily tell that Naomasa was just as unsure of what to do as he was. No matter what they did, Michael seemed to know how to escape them using what they believed to be his quirk.

Naomasa was being as cautious as possible, knowing based on little information he knew so far from the strewed bodies spread about that not only was this... killer known for his brutality, but his seemingly teleportation or speed quirk was also a concern.

Every time they had thought they were prepared for him, it seemed like he disappeared just like that. Making it impossible to track or try to get a hold of him to stop him. Tamakawa could tell Naomasa was on edge in this situation, he kept watching the surrounding area and scanning every inch of the room in case Michael appeared. Trying his absolute best to stay calm, his training, years of experience, and service useless for some reason, like this... thing gives off an aura of fear and despair around him.

Tsukauchi looked around being as cautious as he could be, but as he looked around he was surprised and attacked by Micheal, he managed to dodge in time and only his arm was damaged by the crowbar which didn't break his arm but it still hurt a lot.

Tamakawa would hear the impact of the crowbar and the sounds of struggle, turning his head at speeds that almost put him off balance, trying to see if everything was okay. He would rush towards Naomasa and Michael, trying to see if he could be of any help in the situation. He shot at Micheal multiple times, 27 times to be exact, yet it did nothing, he continually kept shooting and reloading, 40 shots, 70, 120, 180 shots, hoping it would do something but it was clear that this situation was getting more dangerous by the second, and they might need to get out of there with or without catching the criminal.

Naomasa looked around being as cautious as he could be trying to fend off his killer despite having strength being way too much for any human to have unless they have a quirk, but wait, didn't he have a teleportation or speed quirk, it doesn't make sense but didn't have time to think as he was surprised and attacked by Micheal, he managed to dodge in time and only his arm was damaged by the crowbar which didn't break his arm but it still hurt a lot.

Sansa would watch as Michael suddenly attacked Naomasa with the crowbar. He saw Naomasa dodge the attack just in time but he'd still been injured. He didn't want him to get more hurt than he already was so he tried to rush over to help however, something held him back like an internal warning was screaming at him to not approach him. His heart was racing feeling the thump in his chest, feeling like his own heart could pump out or explode due to the intensity and speed he felt a sense of dread as he saw Michael's bandaged face, it was simply pure and utterly evil.

Sansa continued to watch as Michael turned his attention towards himself. He felt her heart pounding so loudly and quickly like a piston engine he couldn't help but feel dreadful and fearful. What did he want from him? How did he survive these many shots? Does he have a healing or durability quirk but it doesn't make sense? Does he have multiple quirks? A lot of questions filled his head, so much so that he was losing track of Michael. Michael was heading towards him fast, and if he wasn't careful, this was going to end very poorly for him and Tsukauchi.

Naomasa, noticing his fellow officer was in danger, took a slight glance at him and saw Michael approaching the feline face cop quickly. He knew he had to do something, he couldn't just let him get hurt. So, while Michael was distracted by him, he'd try to tackle him or try to pull his attention on himself instead. The goal was to keep him safe while still helping to take Michael down.

Michael gets quickly tackled by Naomasa but manages to break free from his grip rather quickly. And now, the focus was on him again, Micheal was slowly advancing towards him. Naomasa felt a chill run up his spine but he didn't hesitate and took swift action in a counterattack. Though he still felt a great sense of fear, he knew he had to act now, or his partner would be harmed. With a quick charge, he aimed to push Michael backward, though his focus was still on protecting Sansa.

This is when it seemed like Michael was gaining the upper hand... even though Naomasa managed to fend off for a few moments and try to protect Sansa. The pressure was starting to get to Naomasa and he could feel himself growing anxious and worried. Meanwhile, the speed of Michael was unrelenting as he kept approaching Naomasa, seeming hellbent on catching him at all costs. 'A strength quirk... It got to be a strength quirk...' the detective tried to reason with himself.

Sansa watched, as he was watching the fight between Michael and Naomasa. He was very worried for the safety of his fellow officer, Naomasa who was still injured in some way and couldn't fight as efficiently as before. He did not like seeing him get attacked and wanted Michael to pay for what he was doing to him. This thought made him feel more frustrated, and Michael knew what he was doing was pushing his buttons as he now felt more invested in this situation.

Micheal effortlessly knocks out Naomasa in one hit and now Micheal is focused on Sansa, Sansa runs and runs as fast as he can yet no matter what he does Micheal is still able to catch up despite walking, Sansa tries pulling up his gun but his gun is knocked away by Micheals crowbar swing.

Sansa felt all hope drain from his body as she watched Michael overpower Naomasa with one single hit. He was now all alone, with Michael slowly but surely making his way towards him once again. He tried to run, run, run, but Michael was catching up to him too easily despite only walking, he had the feeling that he couldn't outrun him, no matter what he did or how fast.

Sansa began to feel more and more hopeless with each passing second. He tried pulling the gun back out to try and shoot Michael, but that failed, of course, it would fail, no matter how many times he shot him, brutally injuring him, it didn't affect his abilities in the slightest. How could he possibly fight back or even escape when it seemed like Michael was faster than him by a mile despite only walking? He couldn't outmaneuver Michael as it seemed he could even predict where he would possibly go.

As Michael was getting closer and closer to him he was losing hope as dread and fear filled his heart, trying to think of ways to fend off this crazed man...but Michael seemed intent on getting closer to him and finishing what he intended to do with him, probably kill him, he was gaining ground each time he got closer. It was starting to feel like he was stuck, like in a tight room or coffin with no means of escape or defense against this man.

As the distance between Sansa and Michael became less and less, Michael was beginning to feel a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time; satisfaction. He was feeling satisfied at how he had managed to outsmart both Naomasa and Sansa despite their experience as detectives despite the many villains they had faced over the years. He hadn't had this feeling since 1963 when he killed his sister back in Haddonfield but that was hundreds and hundreds of years ago, this is the now. He could feel the fear and tension in the air, he knew he had them cornered... he was in control and he was loving it. But, now all he had to do was get the kill and end this. He had only one thing left to do now... grab him and finish it.

Naomasa finally woke up and grabbed a nearby chain originally used to hang up the meat using hooks and tried to chock Micheal, which while it did nothing to Micheal did distract him, Sansa used this opportunity to grab a pair of nearby scissors and stab him in the neck which cause a huge amount of damage and bloodloss, The neck stab, bloodloss, and damage is nothing but a distraction and a nuisance to Micheal.

Michael would take that distraction with a measured response, his demeanor giving little away about its impact on him, swiftly brushing it off as if it were a mere annoyance. Michael's reaction to the distraction was enigmatic, his response shrouded in mystery as he seemingly brushed it off with a subtle shift in demeanor. However, beneath the surface, his true feelings remained obscured, a labyrinth of conflicting emotions that defied interpretation. It was as if his inner turmoil existed in the shadows, evading any attempt to uncover its depths. The assault inflicted upon him stirred something within, but the nature of that reaction remained tantalizingly vague. Despite the onslaught he endured, his emotions remained a nebulous haze, their true essence concealed behind a veil of inscrutability. Amidst the chaos of his internal turmoil, one thing remained clear: his unwavering fixation on Sansa. With a determined stride, he moved towards him, his intentions veiled in ambiguity, leaving others to speculate about the enigma that was Michael.

With Naomasa holding off Michael, Sansa would try to use this time to get as much distance as he could between him and Michael, but it became clear soon afterward that Michael was on a mission and nothing would deter him from getting that goal. He kept running for now as Michael tried to chase him, but he wasn't letting him catch him.

Michael would let out an annoyed growl as he felt himself getting restrained yet again. Micheal thinks that too much time is wasted on these two officers which makes him more determined to finish off what he had started. He would be patient, he would wait for an opening. He knew that these two were getting tired, sooner or later they would slip up and he would kill them...especially that officer who tried using the scissors on him.

With Michael managing to break free from the restraint, a sense of determination overcame him, his thoughts clouded with uncertainty. There was a palpable tension in the air, an unspoken determination guiding his actions. It was as if a veil of mystery surrounded him, his true intentions concealed from view. Rather than clarity, there was ambiguity, leaving his next steps shrouded in secrecy.

Despite the uncertainty, one thing remained clear – he had to confront Sansa. He was the last obstacle standing between him and his goals. He knew he couldn't move forward until he dealt with him.

With each step he took, the weight of his decision bore down on him. There was no turning back now. Whatever lay ahead, Michael was prepared to face it head-on. As he approached Sansa, a sense of resolve washed over him. Whatever the outcome, he would see this through to the end.

Michael seized Sansa, his grip firm as Naomasa attempted to intervene, To attack him, To try to stop him. Despite Naomasa's efforts, Michael effortlessly thrust Sansa into him, pinning them both against the wall, Too tired to do anything, to fight back. Exhausted and powerless, they could only watch as Michael prepared to end their lives.

However, Michael's attention was suddenly drawn to the time displayed on the wall. Realizing he was squandering precious moments, he paused, his mind racing with calculated thoughts. In a moment of clarity, he understood that his true strength lay in instilling fear in the hearts of others once more.

Reluctantly, Michael withdrew from the confrontation, sparing the lives of Sansa and Naomasa. As he departed the kitchen, he knew he had wasted valuable time on them. Yet, he also understood the potential power in allowing them to live—through their survival, his name, his legend, his terror, and his EVIL would spread, ensuring his eventual resurgence to power. The world of quirks, heroes, and villains has forgotten his name, they shall no longer...

A look of pure relief flashed across Naomasa and Sansa's faces as Michael left. It was clear that he was done dealing with them, at least for now. And so, the two could breathe a sigh of relief. Both would lean against the wall and try to regain their composure after the tense situation they had just survived.

Micheal would leave the kitchen, but he was far from done with them. He had felt their pain, he had heard their breathing, he had seen their expressions, Their desperation. He had seen everything and he would use that against them, Use their very fears of him against them. They had escaped, yes, but this was no win for them... For now, he would spare them, let them spread the legend to gain back his strength, They will spread his story, His legend, his fear, His evil, and let the world learn to fear his name yet again, He would be back. And next time, he would ensure not to make the same mistake again...

The two cops have enough energy to stand up and walk out of the gas station, They are tired and they currently need rest, They walk and see Micheal driving away in the car and leaving the gas station, suddenly the gas station explodes also destroying their vehicle and any other forms transport, Luckily the two were far enough away to not be affected by the explosion, Naomasa tried to bring out their phone or their police radio but it seems like during the fight, Micheal destroyed all forms of communication Naomasa has, Sansa tried checking for his phone or Police radio but Micheal also seemed to destroy his during their fight, Now the two are stranded, with the nearest town an hour away.

Naomasa and Sansa were both exhausted after the fight, especially with how chaotic it had gotten. They both needed rest to recover from their injuries and the trauma of the fight. They were stranded, with no way to call for backup now. They both knew they would have to walk that hour back to the nearest town and try to warn the pro-heroes of who was coming, give them the information needed to stop him, it was going to be a long journey. But at the very least, they wouldn't have to worry about Michael for now, though they both knew he wouldn't stay away for long.
