Aakriti's Pov
After he left the kitchen it took me half an hour to calm myself.
Then I continued with the dishes.
I was still trying to process whatever happened.
How did we go from being sweet to arguing like this.
After cleaning, I was rethinking if I should go to our room.
There's no way I have enough energy left to again argue with him.
I slowly steadily walked towards our room and peeked inside, Rishabh ji wasn't there.
I took a breath of relief and went inside.
Uske aane se pehle hi so jati hu, koi bak bak nahi sunni padegi.
(I better sleep before he arrives, then I wouldn't have to listen to his blabbering)
I lay down on the bed and felt my back regaining it's posture.
Hufffff, pura din itna kaam kiya ki kamar aakad gyi.
I smiled a little, finally getting to sleepy.
Wait.
If Rishabh isn't here, then where did he go?
Should I go check?
But I'm too tired, and don't wanna get up.
But I should check?
But I don't want to.
Choro, baccha nahi hai woh, dusre room m so gya hoga.
(Leave, he isn't any kid, must have slept in any other room)
Soon sleep engulfed me and I slept peacefully using the whole of the bed.
My eyes flutter open when my alarm rang.
But I can hear Rishabh Ji's voice, maybe I changed the ringtone
I sat up and streched my arms, I slept to peacefully.
"Aakriti, utho jaldi" I again heard my alarm.
(Aakriti wake up)
I completely opened my eyes and saw him standing in front of me and his arms folded at his front.
A non-human scream left my mouth.
He didn't sleep here last night, so what is he doing here.
"Aap yaha kya kar rahe hai" I asked him with so much courage.
(What are you doing here)
"This is my room too, I guess" He said in duh tone.
"I- I mean ye- yeah, but you were not here last night" I tried to make sense.
"So you expect to never step in this room"He raises his eyebrow and I just shook my head.
" Now if your beauty sleep is done will you please be generous enough to provide us with breakfast "He says dramatically.
And I nod.
I did all the house chores and made breakfast.
I was already missing Ragini Di's company.
It was nice working while talking with her.
"Aakriti, my tiffin" I heard Rishabh's ji voice from outside kitchen.
"Yeah bringing" I said and packed his tiffin box.
He was behaving normal.
Not sweet and not rude either.
Just neutral with no mention of last night event.
I was still kind of upset with his behaviour last night and denial to my suggestion of visiting my parents.
Like come on, I just wanted to see them, it was okay if he said that I couldn't stay long but saying no completely.
I went outside and saw him standing by the main door, waiting for me.
"Here" I handed him the tiffin.
He nodded but didn't make any move to go out.
He just stood there looking at me.
I raised my eyebrow, asking what's the matter.
"About last night, I am sorry" He said in slow voice and left immediately not letting me reply.
My lips curved into a smile and I just shook my head.
Chalo Aakriti abhi bohot kaam baki hai.
I went in to wash the dishes of breakfast, then I'll have to prepare the lunch also I gotta wash all the pillow covers and curtains along with yesterday's clothes they look so dirty. I'll then give foot massage to my mother in-law and then maybe can rest.
I inhaled a deep breath and encouraged myself to do all of this.
"Choti bahu, yaha suno" I heard my mother in-law calling me.
(Choti bahu, come here)
I switched off the gas and when to her room.
"Kahiye maa ji" I nodded.
(Say, mother)
"Meri behen ki yaha se phone aaya hai, kuch jaruri kaam hai toh mujhe aur Nandani ko jana hoga" She tells and I noticed a suitcase on her bed.
(My sister called and it's some urgent work, I along with Nandani needs to visit her)
Suitcase? means they'll stay there for at least some time.
Yaaaaaaaayyyyyy !!!
I danced from inside.
"Thik hai maa ji" I said, trying hard to not show any excitement.
(Okay, mother)
"Tum nayi bahu ho, aise tumhe akele chor ke jana sobha toh nahi deta par kaam thoda jaruri hai"She says and I nod.
(You are newly wed and it's not good to leave you like this but it's important to go)
Nandani di enters the room with her bag and my mother-in-law stands up, preparing to leave.
"Take care of the house bhabhi, I don't want anything out of place when we're back" Nandani di says and I just nod.
"Hum kuch din wohi rahenge" My mother-in-law says and they leave.
(We'll stay there for few days).
I smiled happily after they left and went to my room.
Seems like I can rest till they're gone.
Rishabh ji have his lunch in office and there are still some leftover of breakfast, I can have that in afternoon.
Mean I'll only have to wash some clothes.
I took my phone and opened Wattpad to read some story.
I was completely lost in the story when I heard the doorbell ring.
What?
Nobody is supposed to come at this time.
Did my mother in-law and Nandani cancelled their plan? Oh God please no.
I walked towards the door and opened it.
My jaw dropped seeing the person standing in front of me.
