when i was a child i used to be brainwashed by sinophoic americans into hating my culture and china. i thought i was the only pure chinese person that didn't "eat dogs" and i thought i was an american in secret who was adopted
the rebranding, memes, and slurs hurt me sm
"how did the bat taste" or someone covering chinese text to rebrand chinese ice cream as korean
i'm so fcking done like i can't be proud of my heritage or culture because there will always be those people who say "covid spreader!!" or "bing chillling" or "was the bat worth it??"
and i hate the type of people who just bring the government into anything whenever chinese people try to speak up about sinophobia

the government has nothing to do with the culture, they never made the culture, it was made by the Huaxia tribe
