POV: Angel
Location: NCAA Arena
"Flau'jae how do you have so much energy" I asked her while looking at her like she was crazy
"I don't know but you need to match my energy" she told me while grabbing my hand and I started shacking my head
It's early and everybody still moving like they sleep , but she has so much energy
"Angel you have to try chicken tenders and ice cream with em" poa told me when I sat down on the bus
"Girl what" I asked poa while laughing and she looked at me like I was crazy
"I'm serious it's so good, you guys don't eat your chicken tenders with ice cream" she asked everybody on the bus while looking shocked
"I eat my fries with a milkshake but I never just put it in ice cream" Mikaylah told her and I nodded while agreeing with her
"You have to try it when we go to the pep rally" she told me and I told her okay while going back on my phone
"Who's somebody that you wanna do a song with" mani asked flau'jae while turning her phone towards her
"Me" I told her while getting into the camera making them laugh
"Okay freestyle for us" mani told me and I just started laughing
"Yea come on Angel" nees told me and everybody was telling me to rap
"Uh 6'3 please don't test me, I could beat you up if the refs let me, i got a smart mouth so don't come at me, lsu , women's basketball is the best team" I rapped playfully and everybody started getting hype
Authors note: I was writing this with the flow of the get in with me song so when you read it just read it in angels voice to that flow
"Okayy Angel" Mikaylah told me making me smile , I can't take her serious
"Yea y'all gotta do a song" mani told me and flau'jae and we both just started laughing
I got back on my phone and I started recording like I was doing a vlog
"Hey y'all it's the bayou Barbie and-" I said while turning the phone on nees and Angelica
"Y'all favorite couple" Angelica said and nees started smiling
"Angel give the phone to somebody" poa told me while handing me her phone
"I'm giving to somebody who will smile you out ya clothes" I said while smiling handing the phone to ness and she had a big smile on her face
"Y'all we about to go to our Pep rally and I'm so excited" i said while looking at my phone and I smiled showing my excitement
"I'm about to go to sleep"flau'jae told me and I looked at her and she started laughing
"Don't go to sleep" I told her being serious, flau'jae is literally always sleep
"I'm not I was just playing" she told me making me smack lips
"We're here" coach Mikey told us and when we parked we all got off of the bus
"Angell" some people yelled out when they saw me and I started smiling while waving and I turned my phone around to them
"I love y'all " I told them with a smile on my face while walking with everybody and I turned my phone back around to me
"Flau'jae " I heard somebody say and I turned around and I saw flau'jae hugging a girl and I looked at her confused
"Angel come look at the treats they have" mani told me and I walked over to her and I looked at the food that they had
"Can I get a pack of those cookies " i asked the woman while pointing to a variety of cookies that came in a pack and I bought them
"They look so good" i said while putting my camera on the cookies they looked so good
"Come on let's go to poa" I told mani and we walked over to poa and Mikaylah
"Poa look what I got" I told her while putting her in the camera with me and I gave her the cookies and she smiled
"Thank you , I didn't even know that they had cookies" she told me while looking excited
Poa is always eating sweets or some type of snack but she really likes cookies so whoever I see some I just get her some
"You tried almost every flavor" I told her while laughing , she had almost every type of cookie I didn't know that cookies have a big variety of flavors
"I know , we gotta make our own" she told me while eating one of the cookies and I nodded, that would be fun
"I need some food I'm about to go get me some pizza" I told them when I saw a pizza stand
"Me too ,let's go" Mikaylah told me and we walked to the pizza stand and got us some food before sitting down so we could eat
"Let's do a mukbang" I told Aalayah while putting her in the camera with me and we both started eating
"Wait that's too hot" I told Alalyah making her laugh while I drink some water, I took a bite of the pizza and it felt like it was fresh out of the oven
"I told you, look at the steam" she told me while licking the camera up and she showed the steam coming off of the pizza
"Angel do your best impression of somebody on the team" mani told me while Turing her phone towards me and I started smiling
"Y'all already know who it is , it's big 4" I said while putting up four fingers like flau'jae making her laugh
"Janae do your best impression of somebody on this team" mani told Janae while turning the phone towards her
"Jane, jane, Jane you get on my nerves, Janae I love you so much" Janae said while doing a impression of mani and I Started laughing
"What you over here being messy for" mani asked me while turning the camera at me while I was laughing and I waved her off
"Flau'jae do your best impression of somebody on this team" mani told Flau'jae when she walked over to us
"Stop taking my brush" flau'jae said while doing an impression of nees and she shook her head while smiling
"She is literally always taking my brush" nees told mani when she turned her phone around to her
"Angel here taste this" poa told me and I went over to where she was and I saw that she was eating her chicken with ice cream
"It looks good"I told her while grabbing the chicken tender she handed me and I dipped it in the ice cream before taking a bite
"Okay wait this actually Tastes good" I told her while taking another bite of the chicken tender while Turning my phone back to me
"I told you" poa told me while smiling , I literally just talked with her and ate some Chicken tenders and ice cream
"We gotta start going to the arena" mani told us and we got up and got back on the bus
"I'm gonna talk to talk when we're at the arena" I said while turning my phone off
"Angel you look like you about to go to sleep" Angelica told me when I sat down and I nodded
"I am, I'm so sleepy" I told her while laying my head on flau'jae shoulder
"She already sleep" mani told me and I sat up and I looked at her and I saw that she was sleep and I smiled I knew she was gonna go to sleep
I laid my head back down on her shoulder and I went to sleep
"Angel get up" I heard flau'jae say and I got up and I saw that we were at the arena so I got off of the bus
"We're going to the locker room to practice and then we're gonna get something to eat" coach told us and we nodded while walking to the locker room
"You gotta go all the way down" I told Angelica while she was stretching and she shook her head no
"No I'm done stretching " she told me while standing up and I shook my head
"Bae just go down" nees told her while bending her over and Angelica got up and pushed her back and I started laughing
"You okay too much " Angelica told nees while smiling and shacking her head
"Angelica you a bottom" i asked her with a shocked expression on my face and she smacked her lips when nees nodded her head
"Stop playing with me" she told nees while playfully mugging her and nees waved her off
"You can't guard me but you can try" I told coach G while laughing
"Oh I can guard you , come on " he told me while giving me a ball and I went forward and than I stepped back and I started going towards the basketball and I made the ball go in
"You can guard who, oh okay" I told him while laughing and he waved me off
"Why you not practicing" I asked flau'jae while walking over to her, she was sitting next to coach mulkey
"Because coach said I don't have too" she told me and I looked at coach mulkey and she shook her head while laughing
"Flau'jae go practice " she told her and flau'jae looked at coach like she was cray
"Coach you said I could sit down" flau'jae told her and i laughed when coach waved her off and flau'jae got up with an attitude
"Angel what you do " Mikayalah asked me when she saw flau'jae
"Nothing , she mad she gotta practice " I told her while shrugging and I started practicing with them
"Hailey " I called Hailey name so she could give me the ball and when she did I made the ball go through the hoop
"It doesn't matter who has the ball , when you get ball give it to somebody whose open, you don't always have to try to get points as soon as you get the ball, slow the game down" coach told us and we nodded while listening to what she was saying
"People are always gonna try and take the ball from Angel so when she doesn't have an opening y'all have to make it" coach told everybody and we nodded before getting up so we could finish practicing
"Janae" I said to Janae while giving her the ball and our staff went over to her she gave me the ball back and I got us some points
"Good job" I told Janae with a smile and coach started talking to us again before we went to go get some food
When I got my food I sat down at a table with Janae and Angelica and when I was done eating I started vlogging again
"Angel" I heard Janae say and I looked over at her and I saw that she was recording
"Yes" I asked her with a smile , while turning my phone towards her
"If you could change one thing about basketball what would it be" janae asked me while turning her phone towards me
"I would change the number of fouls we get "I told her with a attitude making her laugh
"We are at the NCAA arena and we're playing Iowa today but we're eating lunch right now" i said while turning my phone towards me
I finished recording and I turned my phone back off and I was laughing at janae when she was asking everybody what they would change if they could change one thing about basketball
"If you could change one thing about basketball what would you change" janae asked Angelica while turning her phone towards her
"Let us talk trash, like don't give us fouls -" she started to say but I started talking
"Oh girl we gonna do that regardless " I told her making everybody laugh , they can give me fouls but I'm still gonna talk trash regardless
That's the one thing that I don't like about basketball , basketball is a competitive sport so we should be allowed to show that competitiveness by talking trash
"If you could change one thing about basketball what would you change " Janae asked Mikaylah and I looked at her when she started talking
"Giving refs techs" she told her and I nodded while agreeing with her ,that was was a good one
Sometimes the refs be doing too much and when you playing a team that they like they act they start showing favoritism
I like South Carolina and their a good team but I feel like they are overrated , people think that they're the best team and they can't be beat but they can
South Carolina has had a lot of close games and games in which they are loosing but they get people stop playing defense when they think that they won the game
When we first played against South Carolina they won 76-79 and we could've won if Angel didn't foul out. and the second time they won 79-72 but we weren't playing against them we were playing against the reds
We played good defense and we were doing what we had to do but we weren't getting the fouls that we needed
"If you could change one thing about basketball what would you change" janae asked Sa'miyah and she started smiling
"I would change number of fouls we get" she told her and I nodded while agreeing with her
"How many fouls would you wanna have" Janae asked her and I looked at her when she started talking
"I would wanna have seven fouls , so I could use one on somebody " she told she her and I looked at her like she was crazy
"Girl seven fouls is crazy" I told her while shacking my head and laughing everybody agreed with me
I would love to have more fouls but having all of those fouls is crazy
"Where did flau'jae go" I asked Mikaylah when I noticed that she wasn't sitting next to her anymore
"The locker room" she told me and I stood up and I went into the locker room and I saw her, mani , ness and Angelica in the beauty room
"Y'all doing TikTok's" I asked mani while walking into the beauty room
"Yea come do one with us"she told me while finding a dance for us to do and when she did she started recording
"Move ya head" flau'jae told mani and she started laughing
" you ever a told girl I got G'S" the songs said while playing and we started singing it
"Look at Flau'jae " mani said and I looked at flau'jae and I saw the faces she was making
Everybody's talking and having fun, like we really just be doing our own thing
"I'm excited we gotta win this game" I told Flau'jae with a big smile on my face
"We gonna win if everybody do what they have to do" she told and I nodded while agreeing with her
The game is starting soon and I'm excited, I feel like we can win the game if we do what we're supposed to do
We finished warming up and the game started and Caitlin immediately got an three
When we went into half time we both had 45 points and I'm mad
"Y'all keep taking dumb shots y'all don't wanna win and it's showing, y'all aren't acting like y'all care about the ball, we need to slow the game down" i yelled out to everybody when we into into the locker room
We won against Iowa once and the way their playing we're not about to win this game
Me and flau'jae are the only ones playing like we want to win the game and it's making me mad
"Hailey you have to stay on Clark, we know she's gonna make some shots but you need to stop letting her score so many points on you" coach mulkey told Hailey and she nodded
"Coach you gotta let poa or flau'jae guard her, I love you Hailey but you not doing a good job at guarding her at all" I told coach and Hailey and everybody agreed with me
"Angel nobody can guard Clark's she's gonna score regardless " Hailey told me and I shook my head, I didn't agree with her at all
"Flau'jae can, she got more height and speed on you, Hailey you playing like you don't want too win, not even just Hailey but all of y'all are acting like y'all don't wanna play, Mikaylah you need to be trying to get us some more points and nees you need to just play defense" I told everybody with a attitude
I already told everybody what we need to do to win but they are still playing like want to loose , if we loose this game people are gonna talk about me and my leadership when I'm trying to make sure that everybody's doing what they need to
"I know that Hailey can guard her she just has to stay on her" coach told me and I just shook my head
I'm not loosing this game because she wants to have Hailey guarding her when she isn't even her height and she isn't as fast as Caitlin
I love Hailey but coach making her guard Caitlin doesn't make sense to me like at all
She could've even made Aalayah guard her but she made Hailey
"Okay " I told coach and I don't say anything else after that
We left the Locker room and we started playing the game and we were both playing to win
"Get the ball" I yelled out to nees and she tried to get it but we got another turnover
The game is over and they won, I'm so mad that they just won the game
"Good game ,I got you in the WNBA" I told Caitlin while giving her a hug and I let her go and she laughed while shacking her head
I finished walking down the handshake line and I went with coach Mulkey, flau'jae and Hailey to go do our interviews
I don't even wanna talk to nobody right now but I still did the interviews and when I was done I was crying, I'm not sad that we lost I'm just mad
"Please don't talk to me" i told one of the staff members while wiping my face and they walked away
Flau'jae pulled me into a hug and she let me get myself together, we lost the game 87-94 and everybody waited until the last quarter to start playing how they should've been playing when the game first started
This wasn't our best game at all but we still went out there and played and that's all that matters
"Here" I told flau'jae when she let me go from the hug and I handed her my phone , and she looked at me confused
"Why you giving me your phone" she asked me while grabbing it from my hand and she put it in her bag
"Because I already know what people are gonna say and I don't wanna deal with that, flau'jae I'm so mad" I told her while wiping my face
"I know but we did what we could Angel we just gotta do better next time" she told me while trying to get me to calm down, I know that Flau'jae mad too but she just tryna make sure that I'm okay
"We gotta get on the bus" Angelica told me and flau'jae when she walked over to us and we got up and we went on the bus
We didn't talk to nobody on the way to the hotel we just went into our room and we laid down before we started talking
"What about the game are you mad at" Flau'jae asked me while sitting up so she could talk to me and I sat up too
"The whole game flau'jae we were the only ones who played like we wanted to win today, and coach could've had you guarding Caitlin the whole game not Hailey , she couldn't even keep up with her" I told her and she nodded while agreeing with me
I love coach but this game wasn't it at all, i never understood why she made Hailey guard Caitlin when she told us who we had to be guarding
Flau'jae is taller than hailey and she got more speed on her so Caitlin definitely wouldn't have been scoring a lot of points on her
"I agree but it's nothing can do about it right now" she told me and we talked some more before we both went to sleep
When we woke up we got ready and got on the bus so we could go back home
When we got back to gym me and flau'jae left and I took her home before I went home and I started getting ready for bed

POV:Angel
Location: Lsu gym
"Heyyy girls" I told the team while waving to them and they said hey back
"Why you look so happy" mani asked me making me laugh
"Because i wanna talk to y'all about something " i told them while sitting down and I could feel myself getting emotional
"It's okay ,you got this" coach told me while coming over to me and she gave me a hug that I happily reciprocated
"Okay I just wanna say that I love y'all so much and I'm grateful to even experience playing basketball with y'all and having y'all as my friends" I said while wiping my face
"We love you too" poa told me and everybody agreed with her
"Being at Lsu has made me an amazing player and playing with y'all has made me an better players and I'm so grateful for y'all, and the coaching staff , I appreciate y'all for always being here for me and motivating me whenever I needed it, I'm going to the WNBA " I told them and everybody got excited
"Don't cry , y'all gonna make me cry" I told poa and flau'jae when they started crying
"I'm happy for you but imma miss having you as my teammate " flau'jae told me while wiping her face and poa nodded and I gave them a hug
"Poa it's okay, I'm still gonna be here for you" I told poa while wiping her face
I knew that poa wasn't going to be that happy about me going to the WNBA because of how close we are, but I'm gonna always be here for her
"I know I love you, I'm happy for you" she told me and I wiped my face
"I love you more" I told her while giving her another hug while smiling
"We love you Angel" everybody told me while bringing me into a hug and I started crying again, I'm gonna miss playing with these girls so much but i have to move on in my career
I talked to everybody before me and flau'jae left so I could got to my photo shoot
I'm telling everybody that I'm going to the WNBA with vogue and I'm so excited because there's not a lot of people that get to do this
"We're gonna start with your makeup and then you can do your hair "the makeup artist told me and I nodded while going on my phone
"I'm done" the makeup artist told me and I looked at how I looked and I told her that I like it
"You can do your hair and tell me when your done" she told me and I told her okay while standing up so I could start doing my hair
"I thought they give you hairstylists " flau'jae told me while looking at me doing my hair and I laughed
"They do but I wanted to do my own hair" I told her and she nodded
"You look so beautiful " flau'jae told me while walking over to me giving me a hug , when I was done getting ready and I smiled
"Thanks baby" I told her while giving her while happily reciprocating the hug and she gave me a kiss
