As the four ladies walk through the streets of Shitosan, they continue to find a trail for the person who has caused the disturbance...
"Sadly, it's too late for him.." - Hecate stated, as she looked down
"Wait, really? Can't you reincarnate a dead body as well?" - Rizette asks
"Indeed. However, it would break the oath, to reincarnate someone who is already in peace. I can decide whether or not I want to heal a breathing being. But, I don't have the right to decide to bring a person back to the face of this world, after they have rested in peace inside the heavens." - Hecate explained, as she prays for the man's peace.
"I see... Well, I guess the best we can do is to just, avenge him. Strangely, this guy has the same injury as Syu, but a lot more severe. Perhaps, it's the girl that burnt Syu..." - Rizette stated
"Well, maybe the person who did this is still in the city..." - Haruna implied
"The chances would be likely. She's tough enough to meddle with the elites, she must be hiding somewhere.." - Ruru implied, as she looked around
"Good afternoon." - A lady walked towards them
"I-Is this where the elite faction is? I was scheduled to meet up with them..." - The lady shyly asked, feeling the pressure from the four elites' presence.
"Ah, yeah, of course! Just give us a sec!" - Rizette stated as the four ladies huddled up.
"Villain." - The four say, in sync, as they huddled up.
"Let's try to fuck with her, before slaughtering her." - Rizette whispered as she smiled, making a gesture with her fist.
"No no, let's just play along, for now." - Hecate implied as the three sighed, nodding to Hecate's implication
The four turn around and look at the lady
"Alright, what's your name?" - Rizette asks
"R-Rolotia-" - Rizette chains the lady and pulls the lady onto her.
"Alright, bitch, enough with this innocent, stuttery act, or I will add so much pressure onto your neck with this chain, that even the deepest sea can't comprehend." - Rizette holds the chain, as she glared at Rolotia.
Rolotia teared up from the pressure, as she tried to escape Rizette's chains.
"W-Wait, Rizette, let her go... I don't think it's her." - Hecate implied as Rizette swiftly lets go of Rolotia
"W-WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL?!" - Rolotia screamed, as she summons a blade, with a clock on the guard of the blade.
"I-I'M REPORTING YOU TO MY MANAGER!" - Rolotia swung her blade at the four ladies, sending a wave at them that would freeze their movements.
Turns out, Rolotia was an elite that held the blade of time. Meaning that she can maximize when she can release her swings' impacts. She can also freeze time for certain people, for a short time, by swinging her blade at them.
Rolotia swiftly raises a grandfather clock from the ground of Shitosan, soon going inside it and teleporting away.
The four finally unfroze as they were in awe of what they had seen.
"Did you guys fucking see that shit? She froze time! Amazing power!" - Rizette said as the three nodded
"She said she'd be telling on us, to her manager..." - Haruna gets nervous
"I guess she's part of another elite organization... Let's try to talk it out." - Hecate implied, as the four walked away.
"Well, let's head to the investigation team, maybe they got some sweet information on the dead man." - Ruru implied, as they walked to the station of investigation, where all detectives of the city lounged in.
Meanwhile, in Rolotia's location, she stood foot in the rehabilitating city of Yin. However, the city was empty, with scaffolding just standing out in the open. Rolotia was confused as to why it was so silent.
"I'm pretty sure they should be finishing this as soon as possible." - Rolotia stated
"It's so sad to return to my homeland, after a 10 year vacation... Only to see it fall." - Rolotia looked around, with a sense of gloom in her face.
Eventually, Rolotia began to hear footsteps around the ruined city, with some kind of metal making clanking sounds, as if someone was running. However, the sound was only subtle.
Rolotia summons her time blade, as she begins to get scared... Soon, scaffolding began to lean over, as if it was pushed over. Rolotia swiftly points her pocket watch at the falling scaffolding, as the scaffolding begins to reverse its movement, going back to its usual placement.
Rolotia quickly summons a grandfather clock, to teleport away. But, in the distance, a girl with huge mechanical arms walked towards her, a sharp flame, coming out of her mechanical arms.
The mysterious lady grabs a piece of wood and puts it in front of her jet-like arm, launching the piece of wood at the grandfather clock, destroying it.
Rolotia panics and runs away, unable to use any spells or movements, from how much fear she was experiencing.
"Tick tock... Tick tock..." - The lady with mechanical arms whispered, as she walked towards Rolotia's direction.
The lady had similar technology, compared to Haruna. The lady then flies and chases Rolotia. Rolotia then swings her blade at the lady, but the lady breaks the time bending swing, with the flames of her jets.
The lady flies down to Rolotia and knocks her out, as she burns Rolotia's feet.
Rolotia was then taken away to a basement, where all the other workers of Shitosan are. The lady chuckled and began to speak to someone, on her watch.
Meanwhile, the four ladies continued to ask the investigators
"I-I'm sorry, ladies, but we can't find proper trails for the culprit, as of now. But, we'll make sure to inform you four, ASAP, once we do!" — The investigator said, as the four head out
"Agh, let's just give it a rest, for now. I'm beginning to get foot blisters from these fucking heels." — Rizette commented, as the three chuckled
"Well, I guess we can head back and take a break, in the hospital. Come on." — Hecate opens a portal back to the hospital.
The four returns, only to see Sumiko, Inzagi and Syu asleep.
Rizette takes her phone out and takes a picture of Sumiko and Inzagi, as the two were sort of hugging, while they were asleep.
"Fucking adorable." — Rizette smiles, as the other three look at the picture, chuckling at the two's attachment towards each other.
Syu wakes up as she smiles the four ladies
"Heyoo~ finally back, aren't you? Don't wake the two up, they're pretty tired." — Syu smiles as she waves at the four ladies
"Yeah? What did they do to get so tired?" — Rizette asks
"They fucked~" — Syu said, as the four ladies were startled by Syu's reply
Syu chuckles softly, as she shook her head
"Kidding, kidding~ they were playing board games with me, the whole time you guys were away. Inzagi sure is a champion at them~" — Syu adds, as the four ladies sigh from relief
"God, I thought they actually did that... I almost cut Inzagi's head off." — Rizette chuckles, as the three stayed shocked from Rizette's comment
"Pfft, no no!~ Inzagi could never! He's a total softie, along with Sumiko~ perfect couple, in my opinion, but neither are capable of accepting their feelings for one another~" — Syu stated
"Yeah, no kidding. Anyways, enough about the lovebirds, I think the girl that burnt you is outside the city, by now. We'll have to go out of this city, may I leave you, Hecate and these two lovebirds here? Haruna, Ruru and I will try to find the lady," — Rizette stated
"Ah, we should ask Sumiko first, you know what happened last time..." — Hecate implied as the three nodded, waking Sumiko up.
"Sumi, hey, hey Sumi, wake up" — Rizette says as she shakes Sumiko gently
"Mmm..? What is it...?" — Sumiko opens her eyes, as she stretches
"We have to go on a trip, to find the girl that burnt Syu and the man on the street, we figure that she's out of the city, by now. So, Ruru, Haruna and I are going out to patrol the continent. Is that okay?" — Rizette asks, as Sumiko nods and goes back to sleep.
The five ladies chuckle as they see Sumiko's adorable behaviour. The three ladies kiss Sumiko on the cheek and hug her, while she is asleep, as Hecate opens a portal for them..
Sumiko smiles in her sleep, as the three wave goodbye to Hecate and Syu, as the portal closes. The two wave back and are now left alone inside the room.
"Why not come with them?" — Syu asked
"My powers are best mixed with Sumiko, so I prefer to stay by her side" — Hecate replied as she smiles at Syu
"Fair enough, you heal with her speed, you two are unstoppable~" — Syu giggles
"Indeed~" — Hecate replies, as she sits down and drinks a cup of tea.
"The sun is already setting, we better get ready for the night~ tell those two to take a shower, and I'll go after them~" — Syu requests, as Hecate stands to wake Sumiko and Inzagi up
"Get up, you two, it's evening. You two need to take a shower before heading to bed." — Hecate says as she shakes the two gently
The two finally get up and nods, stretching and yawning
"You two had quite the day, huh?" — Hecate smiles as the two nods
"You two should shower together~" — Syu chuckles as she teases the two
Sumiko flicks Syu on the forehead, as she blushed lightly, soon tapping on her tablet, to order droids to come to the hospital, with Sumiko's clothes and towel
"I'll go first." — Sumiko yawns and enters the bathroom, all woozy and sleepy.
As Sumiko takes her shower, Inzagi rubs his eyes. After he opens his eyes, he sees Hecate and Syu looking at him, as they smiled
"W-What?" — Inzagi was startled by their looks
"Come here, come here" — Hecate requested as Inzagi walks to Hecate and kneeling
"We have a plan~ you go out of the room, and listen through that door, we'll say that you went out to get food... Then, we'll ask her some questions about what she feels~ We're extremely curious, too" — Hecate smiled, as Inzagi blushes lightly, nodding to the plan. Inzagi swiftly heads out of the room as Sumiko finishes her shower.
The drones arrive and go through the door, carrying Sumiko's clothes. The drones enter the bathroom, after Sumiko opens the door of the bathroom. The drones then dry her hair, fix her make-up, comb her hair and put her kimono onto her.
Sumiko comes out of the bathroom, along with the drones leaving the hospital.
"Ah, where's Inzagi?" — Sumiko asks, as Hecate tells her that he went to get food.
"Ah, I see." — Sumiko says, as she sits down, and plays on her tablet
"Hey, Sumiko, how do you feel about Inzagi?" — Hecate asks, as they hear the sounds of her game pause immediately. Sumiko lies down and covers her face with her tablet.
"I-Inzagi..? I... I guess I don't really know..." — Sumiko answered hesitantly
"No no, I'm asking this out of curiosity, I'm not trying to let a ship sail." — Hecate smiles as Sumiko looks down, showing her face
"Well, Inzagi is... Nice... Very nice... I guess there are times when he would go over the limit, in terms of speaking to me... I-I don't know, when I'm with him, I don't feel like an elite at all..! I-I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing..." — Sumiko nervously answered, but she made sure to be purely honest with her answer
"Has he ever made you feel uncomfortable?" — Syu asked
"N-No, never... He's been making me so comfortable with my insecurities, lately... Actually, he just complimented my hair, earlier, saying that he thinks it's unique or whatever..." — Sumiko blushes brightly
"B-But, no! I can't let these feelings get in the way of my objective!" — Sumiko's blush began to fade, as she held her chest
"Mm? Why not?" — Hecate asked
"Think about it, wouldn't it be great to have a partner in battle? Side by side, you two dominate the fight! Truly amazing!" — Hecate claps as she was filled with a rush of joy, imagining the two fighting together.
"It would be, lady Hecate... But, I'm afraid." — Sumiko's smile dropped down, as Syu and Hecate were filled with concern
"Afraid of what?" — Hecate asked
"Afraid of loving him... I'm afraid that he'll die in front of my eyes, because three of the people I've loved have already died in front of my eyes, and I had nothing to do about it... I don't want Inzagi to meet the same fate as the others... Ruminasu... Papa, mama..." — Sumiko looks down as Hecate kisses Sumiko's forehead and hugs her tightly
"Don't worry, Sumiko... You don't have to if you don't want to..." — Syu adds, as Sumiko shakes her head
"I-I want to, I really want to! But... It's just not the time, yet... I don't want to be the one that protects him. I want him to protect himself, because I can't even trust myself with my own capabilities, how can I trust my capabilities to save the life of someone I deeply love, when back in Yin, I was too naïve, to even save grandmaster Ruminasu..." — Sumiko covers her face with her hands, feeling a strong sense of stress.
Sumiko rubs her face, thinking it'll also rub her thoughts away. But, it doesn't. Hecate pats Sumiko and hugs her tightly
"There there, don't drown yourself in your own thoughts, little one..." — Hecate says
"So, if Inzagi was stronger, you'd be ready for him?" — Syu asks
"Well, if he's still ready for me, at that point, then yeah.." — Sumiko blushes deeply, as she looks down with embarrassment.
Hecate and Syu nod, as they see Inzagi through the window, walking with a bag of food.
Hecate was in disbelief, seeing Inzagi come back with actual food
"Are you kidding—" — Hecate filled with disbelief, as Inzagi enters the room with a huge bag of food
"I'm back with the food, lady Hecate!" — Inzagi screamed as Hecate sighs, along with Syu's hysterical laughter. Sumiko was just sitting there, confused.
The four had a night of feasting, once again, as they shared another night of joy and laughter.
