The guard looked at her in surprise. "I'm afraid not. She left two hours ago, ma'am. Why?"
"Oh." A look of confusion and disappointment were visible on the vocalist's face. Surprisingly, surprise isn't present.
"I see, please tell— actually no. It's not important, please don't tell her that I came here. Thank you." Xio gave the guard a polite smile before walking back out of the building.
Inside her car, she rested her forehead on the wheel, letting out a deep sigh. She wasn't mad at Taylor, she just hoped that the blonde told her she wasn't available today instead of making her drive an hour to get here and not even being there.
You're so stupid. Of course she wouldn't want to have lunch with a random wannabe vocalist. She's a world class singer, while you don't even have a million followers, why would she waste her time on you?
Xio tried to silence her thoughts with a loud groan. She leaned her head back, repeatedly hitting the headrest.
She was about to head back home when her phone chimed. She hesitated whether to pick it up or not. In the end, she decided to just fuck it and checked it.
She frowned seeing it was just the boys texting her. She didn't know if she was happy it wasn't Taylor, or upset it wasn't Taylor.
