I picked her favorite flowers today!
Daffodils and daisies were bunched into
a bouquet and tied off with a fancy bow tie, I walked into the parlor and my eyes watered when I saw Stacy. An elegant white gown with a satin bow tied into her brown waves. I still see a young girl with a face full of her mother's make-up or a dirt-stained dress, running through the fields. It seems like yesterday when we were still copying off each other's homework and sneaking out to parties. Tom, her fiancé, was waiting for her as I kissed her on the cheek and led her to the great double doors. My best friend was getting married, no amount of words can describe the nervous excitement I felt about this new beginning.
