my mother used to tell me "dont draw black hearts because you'll never find love!"
but all she meant was that black hearts were ugly.

but, as time passes, as i give my heart to people.
my heart was inked in negativity.
their pens carved words deep in my heart.
Even now they take shape today.
my pen in hand i draw hearts a million times over, in black ink.
