Annie's pov
I know what I did was wrong. I don't have any right to hurt someone's feelings but my god knows that it wasn't intentional. I was beyond terrified when I got to know that taehyung met with an accident. Guilt consumed my senses and i confessed in hurry.
Taehyung is just staring at me. I am feeling relieved that I told him what is the truth. I don't want to use him or his feelings. I can't marry him just because I am stuck in this problem. He is a genuine man and he deserves true feelings.
Author's pov
Annie was sitting on bed hanging her head low. Taehyung walked towards her and sat beside her.
"You know why I became impressed with you." He stated and she looked up at him.
"I told you right how i met Hana for the first time." He stared in her eyes.
"You were standing near Han river and she thought you are going to commit suicide." Annie replied slowly.
"She was so helpful and that quality of her made me fall for her. Same goes with you i was impressed with you because you helped me at our first meet. I saw my hana in you that day. I had lost her but i didn't want to lose you that's why I searched for you. I always saw her in you. If you are feeling guilty then I am guilty too because even after confessing I still think about her. I just couldn't forget about her. We are on the same page Annie. We both like each other as person but our feelings are still complicated." He said softly having a soft smile on his face.
"I like you because you are an amazing person but i love you because I see her in you. And it's wrong right? Using someone for our selfishness it's totally wrong. Then think who should be more guilty? You are so brave to say it on my face but look at me I even couldn't admit that why I love you." He said with a painful chuckle.
"You are really a pure soul Annie. Now I can proudly say you can never hurt anyone. " he held her hands in his own.
"Can't two friends get married who like each other whole heartedly?" He said softly and she licks her lips.
"W..what do you mean?" She asked nervously.
"I can never find a better wife than you. I still want to marry you doesn't matter if our feelings are complicated. I believe that one day our efforts will lead us to a strong and unbreakable relationship. " He said softly.
They were staring in each other eyes having a lot of emotions. Suddenly then door opened and her father entered with a following jungkook. Soon everyone gathered in the room.
"What is your decision my child?" Her father asked sweetly. Annie licks her lips in nervousness. She was unable to think straight. Her eyes wondered towards somi and she felt like crying. Hand print on her face was clearly visible.
She has to do something for her family.
"I can't promise that I'll be best husband in the world but I can promise that I'll be bestest friend for you in our future." Taehyung said softly.
"H..he is so strong and powerful-"
"Leave it on me. You are taking me lightly. I am not a common person either. Don't worry about him." Taehyung said cutting her in middle.
"He looks so genuine sweetheart. You'll be happy with him." Her mother said . Annie looked at jungkook and their eyes meet. He was dying with each passing second. He was begging her to say no through his eyes.
"Tell me Annie would you like to be my wife?" Taehyung asked sweetly but she didn't replied. Her eyes were stuck on jungkook. She wanted him to say something. She didn't know why but she was still hoping that may be he has something towards her. Taehyung noticed her gaze and followed it. He looked at jungkook confusedly.
Please say something...
Please....
I want to hear you...
Say you don't want this marriage...
Say that you have feelings for me jungkook...
Annie was thinking all these in her mind.
As soon as jungkook found taehyung's eyes on himself he immediately averted his eyes from Annie. He can't show taehyung that he is feeling hurt. He was looking around licking his lips.
Annie felt a pang in her heart when he looked away.
He doesn't feel anything for you..
Why are you still stuck at him..
He clearly said no already....
Tears rolled down from her eyes.
"Hey I am not pressuring you. Please don't cry." Taehyung said panicking.
Jungkook was looking here and there biting his lips from preventing his cry. Tears were threatening to fall. He gulped hardly and took a deep breath before looking at them.
"It's ok if you don't want to marry-"
"I am ready to marry you taehyung." Annie said In one go.
Jungkook immediately looked at her. Something broke inside him loudly but no one can hear that sound except him. He stumbled on his place and fell on the floor.
"What happened? Are you ok jungkook?" Taehyung asked with concern.
"Y...yeah I..I am fine hyung. M..my leg slipped." He said standing up and dusting his clothes.
"Are you sure my child?" Her father asked.
"Yes I am."Annie replied looking at jungkook who was having his head hung low.
As she said yes tear fall from his eye..he tried the stop it but it didn't hear.
"I..I am leaving hyung." Jungkook said and immediately left form there before taehyung could ask anything.
"I am relegious person son and i believe in our rituals. I know you are from another relegion and we respect your beliefs too. But I want to marry my daughter with our rituals. If you want then you can marry with your rituals too. " Her father said politely.
Taehyung nodded his head in understanding manner.
"That means there will be two weddings..one with Hindu culture and another one with Christian culture." Jason said excitedly.
They all were happy with her decesion but her eyes were wondering from where he has left.
Jungkook was walking on the road like a lost Child. Tears were running on his cheeks like a river. He was wiping them again and again from his sleeve but they weren't stopping at all.
He slipped on a piece of rock and fell on his knees in the middle of the road.
"Ahhhhh" he screamed loudly crying his heart out.
"Ahhh why it's so burning so much" he cried.
"How can you do this with me? I love her ! I confessed in front of you damn it! How can you be so Cruel?" He Cried looking at the sky.
"You know everything...you know my feelings still you decided to do this with me..why? Tell me? Why?" He cried harder.
Suddenly he heard the same temple bell.
"You want me to beg right? Because I insulted you? You are calling me again ? You want to see my vulnerable state. Fine I am coming." He said and stood up.
He removed his shoes and tied his handkerchief before entering in the temple.
As he reached in front of the idol of lord Krishna. His lips quivered. He joined his shaking hands.
"Please " he fell on his knees crying like a child.
"Please don't do this with me I know you are taking revenge because I said that God doesn't exist... I love her..I really love her..she says that you're so compassionate.. please have mercy on me.. don't do this. I can't live without her please...you can't do this with me.. I got true Love in my life for the first time you can't snatch her from me. I'll not let you do this. Please God...you want me to beg right? Look I am Begging. I am here on my knees in front of you joining my hands. I am sorry for disrespecting your existence. Please please don't do this. Make it stop. It's hurting..it's burning..are you feeling it?" He said patting his chest.
"Please make it stop. It's killing me. I'll die like this. You want to punish me right? Look I am here punish me as much as you want....but...n...not this...I..I can't take it God...I...I need her. I need her please...make this pain stop. I am not strong enough to endure it." He sobbed crying like a child.
"ARE YOU EVEN HEARING? I SAID I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER! I SWEAR I'LL SET THIS WHOLE WORLD ON FIRE IF YOU TRiED TO SNATCH HER FROM ME!" he screamed loudly.
"Challenging The creator himself?" He heard someone and titled his head and find the same priest there.
"I am not challenging him. I am telling him the truth. He himself sent her to me. She is my sanity and if he tried to snatch her from me then I'll go insane for sure." He replied.
"Is she is written in your destiny then no one can snatch her from you."
"If she isn't written in my destiny then I'll change her destiny." Jungkook said clenching his teeth.
Priest laugh a little.
"You know only he can change the destiny." Priest replied signalling towards the idol of lord Krishna.
"Radha Krishna together has not only taught us to love each other but also taught that with love it is necessary to have patience, power of sacrifice, and strength to support your love. It is you that can bring your love in front of the society. It is not easy to always keep that same spirit of love for anyone. If you truly loves her then have patience and power of sacrifice. He'll surely listen to you. Have believe in him. He must have written something good in your destiny don't be hopeless. Ask him..he is here. He is hearing you ." Priest said and left from there.
Tears again formed in his eyes.
"I don't know everything about you but I know one thing for sure you understand what is love.. You can feel my pain. Please don't let this happen. I swear I'll die. I can't see her with someone else. I don't want anything else In my life just her... please God....I am begging for the first time in my life... Please do something.. please... please." He cried and cried...
