Y/n: *groan* Why is it so complicated? Is this a poem or something?!
You read the whole thing about a part in the book called "Wish Splitter", yet you didn't understand anything, so you asked the leader again.
Y/n: Excuse me, uhm... Can you explain this?
S.coups: "When eclipse formed, the machine can split a soul into two different types of wishes: Environment Changer and Living Changer. One can only use it for once in eternity and rethinking your choice can lead to regrets." This means that when the sun and the moon are aligned together, this machine can split a soul into two wishes. The first one, the Environment Changer, you can wish to change your surroundings into something else or maybe you can go somewhere else. Meanwhile for the Living Changer, you can change yourself or others from a human to animals, living dolls, ghosts and more. It can also turn them into humans as well.
You were just speechless. You were was shocked to hear the details of it and your mind blew up because of it.
S.coups: *Concerned* Are you alright, Y/n?
Y/n: *snapped to reality* Oh! Uh... I'm fine. That's kinda weird concept...
S.coups: But it can be happening during the sun and moon eclipse only, otherwise, you can't do it.
Y/n: Wait! *Try to find your bag* Oh, I forgot that I lost my bag...
S.coups ran to the other side of the room and brought back a bag.
S.coups: Is this yours?
Y/n: *shocked* My bag! *Take it* Where did you find it?
S.coups: *try to hide something* I just... Found it somewhere.
-Flashback-
S.coups actually found it when he saw you were unconscious during your transition to the abandoned place. He took it with a hope that he can escape from here, but after discovering the clues that you had in your property, S.coups just realised that they had disappeared almost half a year. He immediately cried silently after reading the whole news about them.
S.coups: Why did we come to that church anyway? Now that we can't escape... And that beast... It really wants to eat our bodies... That's why it cursed us so that our souls transferred into marionette bodies... So that it can eat our bodies... What a cruel beast...
Then, he looked at you for a while and thought of something.
S.coups: Maybe she can help us get out of here...
S.coups smiled widely and hoped for him to escape from the place with an outsider.
S.coups: If that's the case then... I have to be nice to her, or I'll lose my chance.
-Flashback ended-
You were so happy to find your bag again.
Y/n: Okay... *Search for something in your notebook* Ah! I found it!
S.coups: What? *Stand beside you*
Y/n: According to my prediction, eclipse will happen in 5 minutes!
S.coups: *eyes widen* What? 5 minutes?! How did you know?
Y/n: I took astronomy as my elective subject in university.
S.coups: *amazed* Oh...
Y/n: But we don't have any soul to sacrifice! What are we supposed to do now?!
S.coups thought about it for a while and he decided to give it a try.
S.coups: I'll do it. And I'm serious this time.
Y/n: *panicked* No! You can't! What about-
S.coups: Our fans? It's fine for me. You have to think about you first. Furthermore, I just got an hour to live, so we better be quick.
Y/n: *shake head vigorously* No... I can't do it... Please...
S.coups: Y/n! This is the only chance! Please... Trust me.
S.coups stared into your eyes for a while.
S.coups: I trust you. Please, do something for me.
Y/n: *scared* What?
S.coups: Let us free. If you're a real Carat, you can find a way to set us free. I know you can.
S.coups looked at your watch and realised that they were running out of time. He immediately ran to the platform that lied below the machine.
Y/n: *tears falling* S.coups...
S.coups: *smile* Just do it. I know that I can count on you.
Y/n just speechless.
S.coups: We have a minute left! You have to hurry!
Y/n: But-
S.coups: *shout* Quick!!!
Y/n hesitated for a while, but after you got scolded by him, you immediately read the part of the "Wish Splitter" section in the guideline book.
Y/n: "To make it work: First, make an eclipse happen." *Looked up and the sun and the moon almost aligned* Alright. "Second, Open the machine and set up the 'Split wish'." Huh?
You immediately ran to the side of the machine and turn the lever on to the "Split wish" part. S.coups just watched you working hard on it.
Y/n: "Then, the living creature that you're sacrificed must be at the center of the platform and you have to step back." *Looked at S.coups* Stand on the center, S.coups!
S.coups moved to the center, which was like 3 steps away from him. You also stepped back for a bit.
S.coups: Now what?
Y/n: *Hesitate* Just wait... For it... That's what the book said...
S.coups: Oh... *Sighed* I guess this is our first and last goodbye.
Y/n: *kneeled down and cried* S.coups... I'm sorry for everything...
S.coups: You don't have to say sorry. I'll do anything for my fans... And my members... Remember me after you got out, okay?
You just nodded slowly. Eclipse happened and the machine was working above S.coups. The machine shot lasers to him and his soul immediately separated from his marionette's body. The machine also turned his soul into two separate glowing spheres. You walked closer to the spheres and took them.
Y/n: S.coups... I promise you I will set you guys free.
While you were reading the next step, you heard roaring sound nearby.
Y/n: *terrified* What's that?
Then, she saw a huge beast came from upstairs.
The beast: A human flesh... I knew it... You're new here...
Your body started to shake violently.
Y/n: Who are you?!
The beast: I'm just a shadow that craves for a human flesh... I'm so hungry right now and you'll be my perfect snack...
Y/n: Whaaaat?!
The beast: *smirk* You can't escape from here. Give me your body and that wish and I'll treat your soul well...
You were scared almost to death, but you decided to act brave after it said that it wanted the wish. You didn't want to waste S.coups's sacrifice. You knew what to do.
Y/n: *serious* That won't happen. Never.
The beast: *mad* What?! No! You have to give yourself to me!
Y/n: I won't. I promised to S.coups that I'll free them and myself no matter what.
The beast was ready to attack you.
The beast: This is your last chance. You better choose your words...
Y/n: I choose to not give in and that's periodt.
The beast screamed in rage and was about to scratch you out. You immediately used your wishes for freedom.
Y/n: *shout* Please, let me and all of the members out of here and let them become human again!
The wishes shone brightly, blinding its eyes out.
The beast: Argh! What's this?! Noooo!!
After the lights went out, you and the SVT members' marionette bodies vanished from that place. This made the beast screamed in fully rage.
You and the members were finally free now, but the main question remained. Where had you and the rest been after escaping from there by using the wishes?
