No Pov:
Glimmer, Adora and Entrapta were in the hall, Illusion lay unconscious in Adoras arms,her head in her lap.
"Illusion ? Wake up, please wake up!"Adora pleaded.
Adora's eyes were frantic.
She rembered how painful the infection was,she didn't want it to happen to Illusion.
"The tall one seems infected too. She turned less tall. How does it work?"Entrapta asked.
"She's not an it, she's my friend. And what do you mean she's infected too?"Glimmer said back.
"It's really fascinating. I've been experimenting with a disc that was recovered from a mine in Dryl. It was a game-changer. It held more complete First One's code than anything I've ever seen before. But it seems to have reacted with the First Ones tech that powers my bots. It infected them with some sort of a virus."Entrapa said.
"The disk"Adora muttered to herself.
She knew what she had to Do.
"But why would it make She-Ra sick?"Glimmer asked.
"Well, I'd have to take her apart to be sure. But since her sword is First One's tech, it must have spread through that."Entrapta said holding a scalpel.
Adora quickly covered Illusion with her body, protecting her from Entrapta.
"First, you're not taking her apart. She is a PERSON!"Adora said Whisper yelling while protecting illusion.
"Second, if we destroy this disc, will that turn off the bots and stop the virus?"Glimmer asked" But why would it make She-Ra sick?"
" Destroy it? But the experiment isn't complete!"Entrapta said sadly.
"I think we can safely say that this experiment is a failure!"Adora hissed.
" But what if it's not- no, you're right, it's a failure."Entrapta sighed.
Illusion opened her eyes and Adora internally face palmed.
Illusion was now the equivalent of a small puppy.
"Adora,Glimmer, there's four of you. That's nice."Illusion laughed while her words slurred.
"How are you feeling?"Adora asked while Glimmer looked worried.
" Just peachy. Why are we whispering?"Illusion asked.
"Sound activates the robots."Glimmer answered.
"What ROBOTS?"Illusion said yelling the last part.
" The ones that are attacking us."Adora answered trying to get Illusion to be quiet.
"Oh, those robots. Okay, I'm going to take a nap now."Illusion smiled drunkly.
"No no no no, stay awake, we have to go to Entrapta's lab and destroy this disc thing and then you'll be all better again."Glimmer said.
"Better? I'm fine. I'm She-Ra."Illusion laughs" Hi, Glimmer,Hi Adora"
"Come on, we've got to get to your lab. She's getting worse."Glimmer said as Adora picked Up Illusion bridal style.
The small girl hummed happily and snuggled closer to Adora.
The group walked for a few minutes.
"I wonder how echo will react to this"Glimmer chuckled.
Adora's eyes widened and she chuckled to herself.
So Echo did exist here and Illusion did still love her.
"So Illusion is dating someone?"Adora asked.
"Not exactly,they are friends but Illusion has a massive crush on her"Glimmer smiled.
Adora smiled,maybe later she could help plan a date for the two.
The group navigated the maze before finally getting to Entrapta's lab.
"Oh, we're here. I mean, uh, of course we're here. We were never lost."Entrapta smiled.
Entrapta Turns to open the door but gets shocked by door panel.
"Wow, the door is infected too, it won't let us in. That is so smart. And awful. We're all going to die."Entrapta said bluntly.
"It's okay, I've got this one. I'll just teleport into the lab."Glimmer said.
Adora kept Illusion in her arms but moved her onto her back.
The girl immediately wrapped her arms around Adora neck and stayed asleep,a smile on her face.
"Ooo, teleportation. How does that work? Tell me everything."Entrapta said getting a voice record out.
"Sure, but maybe later, when we're not, like, facing a robot uprising."Glimmer said.
"It's a date."Entrapta smiled.
"I'll be right back."Glimmer said.
" Okay, I'm just gonna wait here."Illusion smiled as Adora waited for Gimmer.
Glimmer teleports into room, struggle ensues and she teleports out.
"That was not such a great plan. The lab is very full of robots."Glimmer said catching my breath.
"How did they look?"Entrapta asked.
"Pretty evil. I couldn't get anywhere near the disc."Glimmer said dusting myself off.
Entrapta and Glimmer scream.
Glimmer, Illusion Entrapta and Adora surrounded by robots.
The robots chase Adora, illusion Glimmer and Entrapta.
Adora kept Illusion close and protected her.
'if only I could use my sword'Adora yelled in her head.
"Incredible development, the bots seem to be working together."Entrapta smiled.
"Right now, I think that's a bad thing. We need to find another way into the lab."Adora yelled.
"The air duct, we can use that."Entrapta said.
"I don't suppose you have any other magical powers that could be useful right now?"Entrapta asked.
"I don't have enough energy to teleport us all. Not without leaving someone's legs behind."Glimmer said.
"I'll give up one of mine if you give up one of yours."Entrapta said.
Adora held Illusion close.
Then suddenly there was a cloud of smoke and Bow appeared with the kitchen staff.
"It's Bow!"Glimmer yelled happily.
"Yay, there's a rainbow!"Illusion smiled drunkly from Adora's back.
"Bow! You're okay! I was so worried."Glimmer smiled.
"Big fan of your work, Princess Entrapta. Uh, maybe not this work, exactly, but your other work."Bow smiled to Entrapta as she waved back.
"Hi."
"Hi"Illusion waved drunkly.
"You okay, Illusion?"bow asked.
"Oh, yeah, sure, I'm totally -"Illusion couldn't finish her sentence and she passes out.
"Entrapta was experimenting with First One's tech, and it infected all of her machines with some kind of virus, and She-Ra's sword got infected to and made Illusion all, oh, weird. Gimmer teleported into the lab and it's full of bots and maybe with She-Ra we'd have a chance, but without her, it's hopeless."Adora said sighing.
" We don't need She-Ra. We can do this together."Bow smiled.
"Okay, where's the disc?"Adora said her eyes scanning the area,she knew exactly where it was and spotted it,the disc was covered in red roots and it made Adora shiver.
"How fascinating. It has completely protected itself."Entrapta said in amazement.
"We have to find a way to turn it off."Bow said.
Adora felt for Illusion's arms but felt nothing,she looked around frantically before spotting her.
"Hey, guys, I've found the bots."Illusion giggled, straight in the path of the killer robot's.
"Illusion!"Adora yelled as she tackled illusion to safety.
Illusion made a small noise but Adora covered her mouth and put a finger to her mouth.
" Glimmer!"Bow said seeing her in trouble and ran to help her.
"We'll get your friends. You two get that disc turned off."The baker said.
" Keep 'em busy."bow said.
The battle raged on as Adora kept Illusion in a safe part of the Lab.
Bow tried to pry disc out.
"That's not gonna work. How do we shut the computer down?"Bow asked.
"Ha! The power conduit!"Entrapta said as she unplugged the computer, it powers itself
" You dumb bots, you're going the wrong way! Bow, watch out!"Glimmer yelled.
Adora watched from behind the boxes as Illusion layed on her back.
"Coconuts have water in them"Illusion said giggling.
Adora faced Palmed,she wasn't that bad...was she.
A robot began to sneak up on Illusion.
Adora turned around and saw it she grabbed her staff and ran towards the metal being.
"Stay away from her"Adora growled as she attacked.
The robot got a small hit in causing a part of her ponytail to be cut off.
The blonde strands fell to the floor as Adora destroyed the bot,while Illusion stayed hidden.
"Uh, why isn't the computer turning off? "bow asked.
" It's running on its own power now! That's it. We need to get outta here and burn this place to the ground. Experiment officially failed."Entrapta said.
Adora then remembered something.
The sonic arrow!
"Bow use your sonic arrow!"Adora yelled.
Bow smiled and nodded.
"Now's your chance, sonic arrow! I believe in you!"bow yelled and Bow fires sonic arrow at disc, robots attack it trying to silence it, destroy disc.
Illusion shook her head and looked at the destroyed robots.
She scratched her head.
"What happened?,did I miss something?"she said as Adora helped her up.
"Thanks, former tall one, and companions, for saving our lives. I would be honoured to join your Rebellion and provide you with weapons."Entrapta smiled.
"Thanks, guys. You saved us all back there. The Rebellion needs regular people now more than ever."Bow said thanking the kitchen staff.
"We are ready."The bus girl smiled.
The group walked outside of Dryl heading home.
"So, maybe you had a point before"Glimmer sighed.
"What? I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you."Bow smirked.
Illusion walked next to them,she giggled at Glimmer.
"I think what Glimmer is trying to say is that you were right, we can't always rely on our powers."illusion giggled.
" Ooohhh, is that what you were trying to say Glimmer? That I was right?"Bow laughed"Adora thought my arrow was useful."
"Yes."
"And my sonic arrow was a great idea?"
"Yes, it was brilliant, and you were totally right, okay?"Glimmer groaned.
"If you hadn't come, the bots would have gotten us for sure. And, I didn't know that She-Ra could get sick like that. What if it happens again?"Illusion shivers, hugging herself"I never want to feel like that again"
Adora put a comforting hand on Illusion's shoulder.
" It won't. We destroyed that evil, She-Ra hating disc."Bow smiled encouragingly.
"Good, I never want to feel that way again."illusion said, repeating her earlier statement.
"Thanks for saving us, Bow."Adora smiled.
"All in a day's work for Bow and his band of Kitchen Knights! His Baking Brigade! Pastry Patrol! I'm still working that out."Bow smiled.
"Oh, look at that rock just staring at us. Boy, that rock really needs smashing. And since She-Ra's not sick anymore, she should probably smash it!"Glimmer said nudging Illusion while how groaned.
"A-ha! What? it's practise. For the honor of Grayskull!"Illusion yelled, transforming into She-Ra and destroying the rocks.
Meanwhile
Entrapta moved some of the bots as she did she spotted some blonde hair on the floor.
"Possibly from the first one tech"she muttered to herself.
Entrapta hummer to herself and left the blonde hair on the side.
She began fixing the disk holding a voice recorder.
" Log. Day 105. 104? Eh. The last experiment hit a few bumps, but it was not a total failure. I made some important discoveries. The disc is way more powerful than I ever imagined. With a few adjustments, I'm sure the next experiment will be a success."
Entrapta repairs the shattered disc but unaware to her the strands of blonde hair glitched and disappeared.
