As you finished packing his things, you went out to the living room. Seeing your mom and your brother, Dohoon eating breakfast.
"My sweetheart Y/N, we will go to the therapist after school today. Is that okay?" Your mom asked as she sits on the coach.
"Sure, I'll go see the therapist myself after school."
"How's you and your friends, you don't seem to be playing with them these days." Dahoon questioned you as you started feeling dizzy after hearing that.
Shards of memories started flowing into your brain again, you remembered that you still have to meet up with the girls today.
"I'll meet them up later at school" you answered to his question.
"Alright, I'll go to school by bike now, see you mom!"
As you started going out of the house, you heard your mom talking to Dahoon.
"I think his mental health is getting worst after Yuna's suicide, I think therapist is a need for him now. He's really thinking the girls are real."
You didn't understand what she meant but you just head out of the house.
Suddenly, a voice came into your head.
"Have you forgotten? Or are you afraid to remember?"
You remembered that you heard this while sleeping, when you're leaving your dream.
You call it "Dreamscape," it's a place where you meet up and play with the girls, your friends!
You remembered that you still have a friend, but you can't remember her name....
Y/N's POV
I walked out of my house and started biking to school.
"The girls are probably waiting for me at school; I kind of miss Haerin now. It was fun last night exploring the school with them."
As I kept thinking about what happened between me and the girls, I arrived at school.
I looked at the school, and suddenly I realized that I actually went to my own school with the girls last night.
I seem to have lost some of my memory.
I arrived in front of my classroom and walked in, seeing the girls surrounding my chair.
"Good morning, Y/N; we're in this classroom again. Just like last time." Haerin smiled and pecked my cheek as I patted her head.
"Good morning, Haerin. Good to see you."
The class started, but Haerin just sat on the ground and started reading books.
It was normal to see her like that since the girls didn't really care about lessons either.
The teacher simply ignored them every time they tried to talk to her; even other students ignored the girls except for me.
Minji and Hanni just started playing video games with their Gameboy.
Danielle and Hyein just started drawing.
I took out my camera from my backpack and took a picture of Haerin reading the book using my camera.
"Y/N Why are you taking photos while we are in the classroom? Are you serious? You're taking pictures of a wall," the teacher shouted at me as other students started staring at me too.
Haerin simply ignored the look of other students and the voice of teacher like she didn't heard or see anything, but I was the one who was getting scolded.
"I'm sorry. I won't do that again," you replied as you smiled since you already had the picture of Haerin.
Timeskip: School is finished.
Class was really stressful, but it didn't matter since I got my friends near me so I could talk to them when I felt lonely or bored.
Although every time I talk to my friends, people start staring at me for no reason. Maybe because they just hated the girls.
As I started walking toward where my bike is, I heard a voice behind me.
"Hey Y/N!"
I turned around; it wasn't Haerin and the girls I know, but Yeji. She's the smartest girl in our class who always gets good grades.
"Oh, hi...?" I replied to her.
"Would you mind if we have a short talk...? I don't know why I want to do this, but you don't seem okay since Yuna left."
"Who's Yuna?" I questioned her as she gave you a confused look.
"Your bestfriend? How can you not even remember her anymore? It's only been a month."
"I don't have any other friends beside Haerin, Minji, Hanni, Hyein, and Danielle," you replied to Yeji as she gave you a questioning look.
"Wait, who are you talking about?" She asked as I held Haerin's hand and dragged her beside me.
"Here, this is Haerin. One of my best friends!"
"I don't see anyone beside you, though. Are you okay?"
"I don't know what you're talking about; you're just ignoring them, just like the others! I'm leaving and I don't want to have this talk continued anymore. Bye."
I left with your bike and said bye to the girls, leaving Yeji with a confused look, but you ignored that.
I arrived in front of the hospital, where I had an appointment with the therapist, Ms.Kim.
As I went inside the room where Ms.Kim is located. I greeted her with a bow.
"So, Y/N, what's your problem this time?"
"I don't know, Ms.Kim. My mom just told me to come here."
"Your mom told me that you had memory loss and some other problems. It's been a month since you started your first appointment here and everytime it's the same problems"
"Yeah, I think that's the problem."
"Can you tell me everything that happened yesterday?"
"Okay, Ms.Kim"
All I remembered was exploring the school with the girls and taking pictures of them.
I told Ms.Kim about all the things that happened.
"Y/N, can you show me the pictures you took? I want to see what the girls look like."
I took out my camera and showed her the pictures. There were pictures of the girls that I took while I was in Dreamscape and also in the real world.
"Y/N, I can only see your classmates and the wall."
"I see, you have some serious problems with your mental health right now." Ms.Kim said to me as I gave her a weird look.
"Huh? What do you mean? They're literally right there!"
"Okay Y/N.... I don't know how you can handle this, but those are probably just your imaginary friends. Maybe you should just accept the truth about Yuna's death. Can't you really remember who she is? She's your best friend, but she committed suicide last month, and since then you've been having mental problems and memory loss," Ms.Kim said in a worried look.
"I don't remember having a friend called Yuna."
"You can leave now; it's getting pretty late by now. You should get some sleep and see if you feel better tomorrow," Ms.Kim told me as I started to take my stuff and leave.
I started biking home, but suddenly I saw a camera shop, which caught my attention.
"When is there a camera shop here...? I should probably get a new camera so I can take more pictures of my friends and the views." I thought to myself as I started riding towards the camera shop.
I walked into the shop as I saw the shop's owner greeting me with a wave.
"Young man, what are you looking for?"
"I'm trying to get a new camera."
"Okay, I'll take out some of the camera for you to see," she said as he took out a camera, which is pretty nice. The model is not that new, but it's still usable.
"How much is this?" you asked her as she smirked.
"I see that you have a really nice camera; it's pretty old though. Maybe if you exchange your old camera with this new one, then it's a win for you."
"But I have my pictures in there."
"Trust me, it'll be worth it. You can come back and take your old camera back if you don't like the new one."
"I should give it a try," I whispered to myself.
"I'll do it," I gave her my camera and got the new one. I put it in my backpack and suddenly saw the guitar that's on the shelf of the shop.
"May I try out the guitar? I'm pretty interested."
"Sure, you can try it."
I took the guitar and started playing randomly, but it's actually pretty fun playing it.
"Thank you for letting me play; I'll head out now!" You started walking out of the shop.
Suddenly, the owner said,
"Despite everything, it's still you."
"Just because you did something bad doesn't make you a bad person."
"Come back when you realize everything. It'll give you back the camera without taking the new one when you realize what you have done and remember what happened."
I gave her a confused look as he just smiled and waved at me when I walked out of the door.
"Huh? What did she mean by that?" I thought to myself because I didn't understand.
"I can't wait to try out my new camera!"
I started riding my bike home.
Timeship: After dinner/Home
I walked into my room and took out the camera I got today.
I tried to open it, but it didn't work.
"Ah fuck, I didn't buy the batteries. I guess I'll just use the camera tomorrow," you whispered to yourself as you lay on the bed and fell asleep.
"Welcome back to Dreamscape."
I heard the voice in my head again, and I opened my eyes.
I'm in a different room. It's still my room, but a different one.
"I guess the girls are waiting for me outside again; I'm just going to pack up my things and go play with them today." You took your backpack, and you walked out of your house.
