the new day started with full excitement as today is "ENGAGEMENT " Anishka and Himanshu
everyone in the house was busy doing work except one Nitya because she was busy sleeping...
suddenly someone knocked loudly on the door
"Nitya uth jaaa" came the voice of Madhura
"ummm...yaar kya chahiye," Nitya said in a sleepy voice.
" aye kumbh karan ki najayaz aulad uth ja aur ye darwaza khol" said Madhura
Nitya opened the door lazily "Kya problem hai yaar teri, kyu meri chain ki need haram kar rahi hai" she said frustrated and lay in her bed again
"pagal aurat...aaj teri best friend ki engagement hai uth" Madhura said
"ha toh think hai na- mujhe baas 5 min aur sone de" Nitya said pleading
"tayar hoke jaldi neeche aa, aaj vanshiv nahi tumhe uthane wala" Madhura teased her
"you bitch-" Nitya shouted and threw chappal but Madhura was already out of the room
in no time she got ready and went down
Nitya's outfit*
"wahh uth gayi maharani wah wah" came the sarcastic voice of her mom
"Ma" Nitya whined
"kya maa, yahi sikhaya hai tuzhe..? itane late tak koun sota hai" her mom scolded her
suddenly they heard someone saying
" are Nitya, kaisi ho beta" It was none other than Vanshiv's mother
she felt a little embarrassed..and prayed to god that she didn't hear her mom's scolding
"hi Aunty, mein thik hu aap kaise hai..?" she asked politely "Main bilkul badhiya,waise tumne vanshiv Ko Kahi dekha kya..?" Aunty asked surprisingly
"N-nahi aunty" Navya replied getting a little shy
" Lagta hai ye ladka Abhi tak so Raha hai, ek Kam karo nitya..tum Jake use utha do" aunty said making nitya widen her eyes
"M-mein jau..?" She asked again to confirm if she heard right. " Ha beta, woh mujhe jara kam hai, warna mein hi Chali jati" she said
"Okay Aunty" Nitya said and made her way to Vanshiv's room
Meanwhile..dono Auntie
"Are Wah Gauri ji...apka plan toh Kam kar Gaya" said nityas mom.
"Are mujhe pata tha, waise kitne payri Jodi banegi na hamare vanshiv aur nitya ki..?" Gauri said
"Woh toh hai, bas ab unko Apne Dil ki bat Sunni hogi" said Venu
NITYA'S POV
he bagh wan yeh kya ho Raha hai Subha Subha mere sath-i thought to myself
"Ouch-" I said rubbing my head as I bumped into someone
"Bhagwan ki ne akhe dekhne ke liye di hai," said Madhura mocking me "Toh tune kyu nahi dekha" I mocked her back
"Waise kaha ja Rahi hai..?" Asked Madhura "Woh vanshiv Ko uthana hai," I said slowly
"ek min phir se bol," she said, "stop being dramatic".I said "vanshiv ke ma ne khud mujhe Jane ke Liye kaha hai" I told her
"Wah aunty toh badi tez Nikki" Madhura said, "go fast, your soon mother-in-law has given you work for the first time" she teased me and before I could say anything she ran away again
I was now standing in front of Vanshiv's room having a press conference in my head
"Should I knock..? but what if he doesn't open...? and if he opens what will I say wait wtf is wrong...yeh kisi ko uthana itna stressful kab se ho gaya..? " "Nitya just knock on the damn door"
I was about to know when I saw it was open slightly and thought "Yeh room open kon chod deta hai.." "Waise mujhe kya, mera kam asan ho gaya" I thought
I slightly pushed the door and peeked inside there was no voice so I stepped inside slowly without making a sound and saw he was sleeping peacefully. I took my time and admired him.
he is gorgeous with his soft curly hair falling on his forehead, he has lashes every girl wishes for, tan skin with a chiselled jaw...he has a faded scar on his cheekbone
my hands slowly reached to touch it but suddenly he opened his eyes and pulled my wrist as I landed on his chest...a gasp left my mouth
"Mujhe pata hai main bohot handsome hu, itne der ghoorne ki jarurat nahi thi..?" he asks and I feel my knees go weak with his morning deep raspy voice.
"uh-tumhe bohot badi hui hai.." I said
"kya hui hai..?" he asks " badi Misunderstanding" I said and laughed
VANSHIV'S POV
her laugh was like a sweet melody and I fell harder for her again. She looked beautiful with sunlight falling on her giving a soft glow. I decided to tease her and swiftly turned her around
now she was under me with blush adoring her cheeks as she noticed I was shirtless
" yeh joke that..?" I asked "Tha toh" She replied immediately
"I don't like jokes," I said leaning close to her and
she said "I don't like you" and we both laughed again...
this is our favourite dialogue from our favourite movie...we used to watch this every time. I just wish to stop the time right now and be with her.
my eyes slowly drop to her soft pink lips...oh how I wish to taste them. but I know it's early and I don't want to do anything that will make her uncomfortable even if it means I have to take things slowly.
I see her turning into a deeper shade of pink as I lean down and kiss her cheek. She closes her eyes but our moment is ruined because we hear the door opening
Nitya pushed me suddenly as I landed on the floor "Urgh" I groan from the pain as I see her standing up quickly
"oppss sorry....I think I interrupted something.. its okay continue continue" It was Abhishek's voice
I rolled my eyes and heard her saying "No it's nothing like that-" trying to convince Abhishek "You don't have to explain anything Nitya your face is clearly showing "I heard Abhishek say
"It's hot so-" she said again
"Are mujhe sab pata hai, waise mein yeh batane aya tha ki sab lunch ke liye bula rahe hai toh apna romance jaldi khatam kijiye," he said and I hit him with a pillow
"ouch" I heard him groan "ho gaya na tera, nikal yaha se," I said , he left saying "ha ha ja raha hu"
I saw Niya making her way out as I held her wrist and swiftly pulled her closer
" are kaha ja rahi ho..? tumne suna nahi abhishek ne kya kaha..? We should continue where we left" I said sneaking my hand to her waist
"sh-hut up and let me go" she said in her soft voice that I could her ignore. I saw them quickly exiting my room as soon as I left her
I sighed deeply ruffling my already messy hair, and went to get ready
AUTHOR'S POV
it was finally evening and everyone was working here and there
"Uncle yeh fool stage pe rakhane hai" came the voice of Nitya who had been working since morning to make sure everything was perfect for her bestie's engagement day
"Are uncle ji pls wo chairs arrange kar diji ye" she instructed
"Are Nitya, tum abhi tak ready nahi hui..? Only 2 hrs are remaining and get ready" said Anishka's mother
"yes Aunty just let me check all the things for last time," she said "No nitya you go get ready, I'll check everything," said madhura coming '
"omg madhuuu you're looking so beautiful" nitya praised her "ik...now you go fast" madhura sent her away and went to check everything
just then vanshiv came down with all the boys looking devilishly hot in kurta but his eyes were searching for someone special...
"kya hua kise dhundh raha hai..?" asked abhishek "jise dundh raha hu woh dikh hi nahi rahi hai" he replied
"woh dekh piche" abhishek said as vanshiv swiftly turned backwards and found no one he glared at abhishek as he burst laughing
"aa jaye gi woh tabh tak lets go and get the drinks" abhishek said and dragged him away
only half hour was remaining for the program to start but there was still no sign of nitya making vanshiv restless every now and then he looked the entrance hoping to see her.
suddenly he saw her coming, she was looking so gorgeous. his eyes fell at her milky waist that was showing and he forgot to breath for a minute
he saw her struggling and with fast but steady steps he reached at her making her stop
he saw she was struggling to put on her jhumka so he forwarded his hand. she looked at his hand and then his eyes, they were silently takling through eyes as she gave him her jhumka
he stepped forward closing the distance between still maintaining the eyes contact,he successfully made her wear the jhumka
NITYA'S POV
i was struggling to wear my jhumka, as i was already late thats when i saw vanshiv uproching me
when he came close to make me wear jhumka, i felt goosebumps. him being this close to mee is bad for my heart.
suddenly he leaned more close to me and i felt him place a kiss at corner of my lips and go away
i felt whole zoo irrupt in my stomach
"nitya.." i heard someone calling which brought me back to earth i looked back to see vanshiv smiling with his friends as we made eye contact again
i immediately broke it and went away to anishka's room
the engagement was taking place in the backyard of mansion at it was huge and enough for all the family and close friends
"OMG" i said as soon as i saw how beautiful anishka was looking
she and madhura giggled, i went and hugged her tightly and said "i can't believe your finally getting engaged anishka"
"ik, but its happening because i finally found my one and only" she said
"chalo lets go its time" said madhura as we three made our way out to the garden

they both were looking so good together- thought to myself watching them slid rings everyone clapped suddenly someone held my hand i got startled
it was vanshiv who secretly held my hand "come with me..?" he asked as i nodded
it took me away from all the loud noises
