Your memory is a toxic keepsake.
A poison I no longer partake in.
You call yourself darkness and sin.
Shallow and empty within.
I see just a shadow of a man.
Bitterness and hate come to congregate.
Slowly slipping away with time.
I stepped away into a life I comfortably call mine.
Moon drops and scars that shine on the surface of my skin.
Yet my heart is singing with joy from within.
There's no victor or vanquisher.
There's just life,so think,think twice.
Your actions have meaning.
Your attributes aren't redeeming.
Sharp tongue, that cuts like a knife.
Shame, shame my skins immune it can't be sliced.
Such a clever game,you whispered my name.
All your carefully crafted endeavors, have failed.
I remain positive and strong.
Look at you in the shadows,broken mind sad and frail.
You're impaled by your own destruction.
I went in the opposite direction.
Life changing conjunction.
I live my life.
You barely function.
There's just life so think, think twice.
I sit gazing at the stars smiling, this will suffice.
Life is just as it should be.
I don't have to think twice.
Life is good, this is nice.
