The demon stepped out of the shade, "Then I can safely assume you wish for me to take the form that suits to serve the Watchdog of the UnderWorld." He placed his hand on his chest.

The boy shot his head up, meeting eyes with the ruby-colored demon, his sapphire eye darted around. Knowing this demon is his only escape from what he's gotten himself into.

The taller figure laughed, "You're pathetic." he reached out his gloved hand. Just a moment ago it was a clawed hand.

Astré gulped down his fears, taking the demon's hand. I have to be strong... for Ciel, for Papa... for Mama... Mama. he thought. This man will help me avenge Mama.

As a mama's boy, Astré found he got along with his mother, despite her relationship with his Aunt Angelina.

"So, who are you?" the raven-head inquired, grabbing a hold of the 'bird in its cage.' as the demon nicknamed him.

Astré stammered, looking down at his ill, weakened body. With his thread-like legs, he looked as if one strong gust of wind blew on him, he'd topple over.

The demon reached his arms out, the arms covered in a black coat, his hands covered in snow-white gloves. This man's arms reminded Astré of his father. His father was tall and muscular. He always allowed Astré's mother to lean up against him.

"Ciel," Astré murmured, his pale hands becoming the center of his sapphire blue eyes. "My name's Ciel Phantomhive," he said with pride, knowing fully well that he had taken his elder twin brother's name.

"Ciel, ey?" his ruby eyes locked onto Astré. "Then, I'm at your service, young master." the demon let a smile slip. Alongside the normal-looking teeth, there were a few pointed teeth. "You're allowing me to go without a name?"

'Ciel' shivered, "Get me out of here. Now."

"Guess we'll need to teach you how to order me around..." the demon grinned... yet listened. Ciel didn't like how the demon took him into his arms—holding him how his mother used to.

The demon snapped its fingers, the tip of his finger being lit with a strong flame. "Do you wish for me to burn it down?"

"I want out. I don't care how you do it." Ciel readjusted himself, being able to glance over the raven-headed butler's shoulder.

He reached out to the child on the table—a child who looked identical to the boy in the butler's arms.

The butler paid no mind and blew out the flame as he walked out of the orphanage.

The wind blew, the first time Ciel had seen the sun —- well more like the moon.

He shivered. After months of being in a cage, the bird was free...

"You're now able to take flight, young master." The butler teased, still awaiting his name.

Ciel watched, his body bobbing up and down as the butler walked. The boy thought, his parents coming to mind.

"Sebastian." He spoke. "You are going to answer to Sebastian now."

"Why of course, young master," Sebastian spoke, smiling again. "Where'd you get that name from? Perhaps an old butler? Someone who you loved?"

"It's my dead dog's name," Ciel spoke.

The demon got caught off guard. "EEH?! A dog?! You name me after a DOG?!?" He hissed.

"You wanted a name didn't you?" Ciel rested against the demon. Despite his deep disdain for the demon, he relaxed. He felt at home. Despite not wanting to feel at home.

"I did." Sebastian sighed, taking the name unwillingly.

"Good." Ciel smiled, wrapping his frail arms around the butler.

"Feeling home already?" Sebastian whispered to himself, continuing to walk. His heels clicked against the sidewalk, his ruby eyes shining in the moonlight.

The walk was a bit slow, though Ciel paid it no mind, as long as he went home.

The young boy with sapphire eyes watched as people followed him with his eyes, people knew the Phantomhive name. Especially when his father was in charge of it.

They all watched, their mouths a gap. One of the Phantomhive sons is being held by an unknown butler. Well, that's what they assumed he was, a butler.

Ciel placed his head on Sebastian's shoulder, avoiding people's gaze.

"You're getting so attached." Sebastian smiled, he couldn't help but care for the young boy. He was like a son to the demon since he was distracted by Ciel. The butler wasn't exactly paying attention to the sidewalk in front of him.

A man watched as Sebastian walked with the small and fragile boy in his arms. He wore a black button-up and also wore a scarf to cover most of his face. His eyes widened as he saw the boy's face. A Phantomhive... he thought to himself. He turned his gaze away as he ducked into a bakery.

Ciel raised his head, an eye patch covered his left eye. He and Azril met eyes. "Sebastian."

"Yes, my lord?" Sebastian turned his head, meeting eyes with Ciel's unbandaged eye.

His narrowed eyes darted to the bakery. "Nothing... Just a feeling."

The demon threw a knife into the bakery. "He gave me suspicions too, my lord."

Sebastian didn't mind, he kept walking. Bringing himself to the manor on the hill, Ciel, the poor child... He didn't know what happened.

Ciel excitedly got down from Sebastian's arms.

"Mama! Papa!" He called out, running to the burnt-down manor, falling straight on his face when he sat up and looked around.

The manor was gone. The 8-year-old sat on the ground, holding the ground below him.

With a simple snap of Sebastian's fingers, and Ciel raising his head.

"How... how--" he stammered his words.

"A Phantomhive butler who can not do this is not worth his salt," Sebastian whispered, scooping up the boy, and glancing around.

"Welcome home... 'Ciel' Phantomhive." the butler whispered, placing his hand over his chest.

Ciel shivered. The raven head's ruby eyes made him quiver. They seemed so familiar and the way that Sebastian said his name.

Sometimes he wished Tanaka would appear out of nowhere..

"Ah!" the familiar voice called.

Ciel squirmed. "LET GO OF ME!" he demanded of Sebastian. The demon listening just dropped him. Didn't even set him down.

Ciel landed on his face, the demon immediately slapping his hand onto his face to hold back laughter.

"Shut your trap!" the 8-year-old demanded, and got himself up from the harsh landing he took from the demon dropping him straight onto his face.

The demon giggled a bit, bending over himself to quit his laughter.

Yet there was something adorable about watching the 8-year-old run to this male who was way younger than Sebastian.

"Tanaka!!" He called out, hugging the elderly man.

"Ah-!" Tanaka paused for a moment, getting down to analyze the young boy. Being the butler of a family with identical twins was quite hard, especially for Tanaka.

"Ciel." the bluenette spoke and hugged him again.

"I'm so glad to see you, Ciel.." he smiled. Looking towards Sebastian... "Who's this...?"

"Ah..." Ciel shook his head, getting rid of his smile. "That's Sebastian... Our new butler."

"Pleasure to meet you." Sebastian fixed his posture and placed his hand over his chest. "I'm quite sure you'll teach me all that you know."

Tanaka drank a bit of tea, nodding his head.

I can get used to him... Sebastian smirked as he thought.

Ciel yawned.

"Young master, why don't we get you to bed?" Sebastian asked, smiling at Tanaka.

"You're already doing great." Tanaka stood himself up and nodded his head, letting his eyes watch Sebastian as he found Ciel's room.

Well, what used to be Vincent's room but now it was his.

The small baby blue blanket and plush toy caught his eyes, he couldn't help but snicker again.

"Shut your ---" Ciel started.

Sebastian placed Ciel down and allowed the small boy to change as he thought about what to do once the young boy was asleep.

He turned around and watched as Ciel lay down.

"Sleep well, young master." he blew out the candles and sighed.

Sebastian exited the room, went into the young master's study, and noticed the papers of servants. With fast hands, he quickly sorted through the papers. Coming down to 6 servants... Well, 8 if you counted the demon and the past servant.

"Let Us Welcome You To The Underworld." Sebastian smiled, writing quick letters to those servants and sending them out.
