AFTER HAVING SPENT THE NIGHT AT THE BANE'S APARTMENT, THE OTHERS HAD MADE THEIR WAY BACK TO THE INSTITUTE AND HAD GONE THEIR SEPARATE WAYS TO GET READY.
After a warm shower which calmed her slightly especially after the events of last night, Asa put on her outfit for the day and did her hair.

Asakhe made her way out of her room and walked towards the main room where she spotted everyone else expect Jace and Clary which didn't surprise her but the main thing she focused on (other than Alec) was how Isabelle was dressed.
"Hey Asa." Bella smiled at the blonde princess.
"Hey Belly." Asa returned the smile as she gave the lightwood girl a hug which Arabella was more than happy to return.
"Good, were all here, Jace sent a message and said he needs help at the precinct." Izzy spoke up.
Emma threw her head back on a groan but none the less the group of shadowhunters made their way out of the institute after gearing up.
THE OTHERS HAD ARRIVED AT THE POLICE STATION ONLY TO SPOT JACE AND CLARY STANDING OUTSIDE WAITING FOR THEM.
"Someone called for backup?" Izzy asked as the group approached the two.
Jace turned to everyone nodding.
"Yeah, what took you guys so long?" He asked.
"Funny, I was gonna ask you the same thing." Alec and Asa spoke in sync.
"It's complicated." Jace said.
"How?" Asa asked.
"You go in with a plan, you initiate the plan and then you leave." The blonde princess explained.
Everyone except Izzy pointed to Asakhe in agreement only making Jace and Clary roll their eyes.
"We found the cup." Clary revealed.
"The cup?" Isabelle questioned making the two nod.
"Congratulations, you want a cookie?" Asa asked.
The others had to hold back snickers a long with their smiles/smirks at the princess's attitude towards Jace and Clary.
"Look we got the cup but then we lost it. We have to sneak back in the precinct to get it." Clary spoke up.
"So D.I.Y." Archie told his little sister.
"What?" Jace asked confused.
"Do it yourselves." Archie and Asa said in sync.
"This is a disaster." Alec sighed.
"Hey, demon pox is a disaster." Jace began as he shook his head at his parabatai.
"You're a disaster." Emma and Asa deadpanned.
"Why would you not have a plan and then a backup plan incase your first stupid plan didn't work?" Asa asked, pissed off and rightfully so.
"What about a glamour?" Izzy questioned.
"Any working with Valentine will be able to see through it." Maddy reminded the Lightwood girl.
Clary looked amongst the group.
"Can't we ask Magnus Bane to portal us inside?" She questioned.
"Bitch, you better be joking." Asa practically growled out.
The princess felt her patience running out with the Wayland boy and Clary and for the red haired to try and take advantage of her family once more was only fuelling her anger.
"Besides Magnus can only portal us to places he's been before." Archie told his sister, feeling how worked up his blonde sister was getting.
Just then Clary's phone began to ring.
"Not again, just give me a second." Clary said before she walked away from the group.
Jace sighed in frustration before grabbing Clary's phone and hanging up before speaking.
"Simon's little problem can wait, I've got a great plan." Jace announced.
At the mention of Simon, Asa made a mental note to speak with her parabatai when they got back to the institute.
"Oh, there's a first." Clary said sarcastically.
"For you both." Asa added making the others snicker whilst Alec let a smirk grace his features.
"Just follow my lead, oh and don't worry in my plan nobody gets slapped." Jace spoke.
"That can be arranged." Asa spoke up with a wide smile.
THE REST OF THE SHADOWHUNTERS FOUND THEMSELVES IN THE FRONT AREA OF THE STATION, PREPARING TO HELP JACE AND CLARY.
Asakhe couldn't help but draw her attention to the group of boys, seemingly some kind of dance team who seemed to be performing some dances, providing some entertainment for anyone and everyone.
"You guys shut up!" Asa exclaimed to the others stopping their bickering over who was gonna be the distraction or whatever.
"We have the perfect distraction right at our disposal, you just have to know how to use it to its full potential." The princess smirked.
Everyone watched as the blonde approached the team of boys seemingly talking to them.
"What is she doing?" Izzy asked confused.
"Something epic." Archie and Maddie smirked.
Soon enough 'She Came' by Usher ft. Nicki Minaj could be heard through the speakers.
Everyone drew their attention to the blonde princess as they watched her start dancing soon enough the team of boys joining her.
Asa gestured over to her friends inviting them to come join her and the dance team.
Archie and Alec shared a look with each other before looking shrugging and make their way over to Asakhe and joining her as they all continued to dance.
Emma and Arabella giggled but we're quick to follow after the two boys, happy to get a chance to embrace their dancing sides once again even if it was just for a little moment.
Soon enough a large audience had formed, watching the young adults as they showed off their talents.
"No wonder Alec moves so gracefully." Josie spoke up making Maddie and Christina laugh softly.
EVERYONE HAD MADE THEIR WAY OUTSIDE WHERE THEY REJOINED JACE AND CLARY WHO WERE WAITING FOR THEM.
"Did you get it?" Alec immediately questioned.
"Theoretically." Clary nodded.
"Theoretically?" Archie asked, raising an eyebrow at the girl who was supposed to be his sister.
"Yes or no, carrot top?" Arabella deadpanned for the red haired girl.
"I found the card, I just have to figure out how I reached into my notebook before. It's not...an exact science." Clary spoke with a sigh.
"Can't you just pull the cup out?" Alec asked in frustration the only thing keeping his from snapping was the fact that Asa had her pinky linked with his.
The younger Fairchild shook her head frustrated.
"I can theoretically, I just...it's not as easy as it looks Alec." She answered.
"Maybe I need to hit you on the head with a bat and some common sense will be knocked back into you." Asa spoke up.
"Listen, you can discuss theory as much as you want when we get back to the institute, but right now, considering we just stole from the cops, I suggest we get home." Jace spoke butting in.
"Oh now you wanna go home?" Emma asked her brother, rolling her eyes.
Asakhe fully clasped her hand with Alec's a she's spoke.
"People, the mundanes are the least of our worries right now." The princess warned the group.
Alec turned to the blonde holding his hand and saw the Ruby necklace her grandfather had gifted her was glowing, indicating there was demons close by.
"At least we know the necklace works." Alec smirked at the blonde princess who returned it with a smirk of her own.
"Never a dull day, come on let's go." Asa told everyone.
The group began their walk only to stop as they heard Clary speak.
"Guys slow down." The younger Fairchild said.
"What do you mean slow down, this is normal pace." Asa told the Fairchild girl in a bored tone.
Just then a demon disguised as an old lady bumped into Clary.
"Oh, I am so sorry." Clary apologised, clearly not seeing through the glamour.
Before anyone could react everyone watched as the demon disguised grandma dropped to the ground dead, with a thud and a crack.
"Nice." Alec whispered to the blonde princess having been the only one to see her snap its neck.
"Thanks." Asa smiled at the eldest Lightwood.
"What the hell?" Clary asked looking back at the other shadowhunters.
"It was a demon disguised as a grandma but now it's dead." Asa told Clary speaking slowly as if she was talking to a five year old.
"How did it find us?" Emma questioned.
"I don't know but she brought her book club." Asa spoke up as she looked around the perimeter seeing even more demons than before.
"How can you tell?" Clary asked confused, matching the confused facial expression which she wore.
"It's like seeing through a glamour." Archie began to tell his sister.
"You gotta pay attention to the details." Madelaine finished.
"Behind us." Asakhe warned the group.
"I....I still can't see them." Clary spoke up.
"Okay, there's too many people." Clary spoke up.
Alec nodded.
"I don't say this often and I probably won't ever again for a really long time but I agree with Clary, we gotta get out of here." Alec spoke, his hand still linked with Asakhe's.
"This way little Einsteins." Asa told the group as she began to walk in other direction before leading the group down some stairs and towards a door.
"What's the unlock rune again?" Clary questioned the others.
"Move child." Asa told Clary as she gestured for her to shoo away from the door.
Before anyone could think Asa kicked the door down.
"Bibiddi bobiddi boo." Asa smiled and the group made their way through the door and began to walk down the tunnels.
"That was extremely sexy." Alec told the princess making her blush.
"Thanks." Asa smiled shyly as the group continued to make their way through the tunnels.
"You okay?" Asa asked Belly as she let go of Alec's to check on the lightwood girl.
Belly nodded her head, taking a deep breathe.
"I just wanna go home." She sighed.
"We're almost home, we're almost home." Asa assured bringing Belly in for a hug which the girl returned.
The two girls turned when they heard Jace and Alec speaking.
"Don't be stupid if the demons get the cup, we're dead anyways." Alec told his parabatai.
Jace shook his head.
"I'm not leaving anyone behind." Jace spoke.
"You don't have a choice." Asa spoke up drawing the two boys attention to her.
"I'll stay with Alec but you and the others especially you and Clary through need to get your troublesome asses back to the institute." The blonde princess.
"Besides this isn't the first time Alec's saving your life, nor will it be the last." The blonde princess said.
"You go straight to the institute and I swear to the angels if you're not there when we get back, I'm feeding you to my dragons." Asa warned.
"Leave." The princess demanded and hesitantly the other shaodwhunters did so leaving behind the archer and blonde princess.
Asa let her whip her unravel and the dragon roared to life.
"You ready pretty boy?" Asa teased with a playful smirk.
"Always princess and you?" Alec playfully rebutted.
"Oh you know it." She smiled before the two turned their attention towards the door and as they were about to attack they spotted the three Garroways.
"We need to find Clary." Isiah and Luke spoke in sync.
"Hello to you both as well." Asa sassed her uncles.
"Alec!" Faith greeted with a wide and happy smile, glad to see the eldest Lightwood again.
"Faith!" Alec returned the smile and the two shared a hug.
"Do none of you love me anymore?" Asa asked her two uncles along with her aunt in a dramatic tone which made all four of them laugh.
The group of five proceeded to walk down the tunnels in the direction the others had gone.
They all found Clary who was looking at the floor which was covered in demon ichor but when she took note of the group of five she raised her seraph blades at the three Garroways.
"How do I know you're Luke, Faith and Isiah?" She questioned.
"They wouldn't be with us if they were demons." Asa deadpanned for the Fairchild.
Clary shrugged in agreement and lowered her seraph blade.
"What happened?" Isiah questioned.
"Not that I wanna know." Faith added on and Isiah gave his wife a look which she returned with an innocent smile.
"Uh, demons happened, long story...where'd you come from?" Clary said.
"Jail?" Asa teased.
"Yeah actually." Faith smiled at the blonde princess making her snort.
"We ran into Alec and Asa, said you might be down here, thought you might need some help." Luke explained.
"Correction, you two thought, I could care less and clearly she's fine." Faith spoke up, rolling her eyes.
Alec chuckled at the Garroway woman, only finding even more to love her.
After sorting everything the five went their separate ways but not before Faith pulled Alec aside for a moment.
"Promise me that you will continue to take care of her along with my girls as well, please Alec." Faith pleaded with the eldest Lightwood.
"You have my word." Alec nodded and Faith smiled gratefully at him.
ASAKHE ENTERED THE INSTITUTE AND WAS QUICK TO LOOK FOR HER PARABATAI.
"Asa!" Maddie called out for her parabatai and the blonde princess turned around and hugged her sister tightly when she was close enough.
"Can we talk please?" Asa asked her sister, already dreading the conversation that was to come.
"Yeah sure." Madelaine answered softly and the two made their way to the Lewis girls room.
"What's up, you okay?" Madelaine asked softly.
"I'm fine it's just, I don't think Simon is." Asa spoke slowly.
"What do you mean?" Madeliane asked her parabatai, her tone holding concern for her younger brother.
"Simon is showing all the signs that he's already in transition to becoming a vampire." Asa revealed.
"Oh my gosh." Madelaine sighed, her hands reaching up to tug at her hair.
"I'm so sorry Mads, I know this isn't something that you'd want for Simon." Asa spoke softly, tears already glistening in her eyes in concern for both the Lewis siblings.
"What happens now?" The Lewis girl asked her parabatai.
"Well, you have two options, you can let Simon pass away allowing him not to become a vampire or you can bury him before sunset on the day and let him complete the vampire transition." Asa told her parabatai.
"I know you don't want to think about life without Simon and believe I don't want to either, he's become like another younger brother to me in the past few days but you have to think about what he would want and we both know Simon wouldn't want to become a vampire Maddy." Asa told her sister in a soft tone.
Madeliane nodded in agreement with her sister.
"I know but thank you for telling me, I know it must've been hard." Madeliane smiled slightly at her sister.
"Of course Mads." Asa sighed softly and the two girls met in the middle and shared a tight hug.
They knew this was going to be tough but whatever was coming for them, they would face it together as sisters.
