Osa was putting out his protective gear for sealing off his feathers first around his neck and tying a scarf around it. He had on a pair of shorts. His shirt, pants, cloak, and bag he shoved into a plastic one, "You're certain we'll find the compound at this, junkyard."

Raven nodded as she scraped the bottom of a bean can to finish it off, "We passed it up on our way to the facility we found you at." She explained before tossing the can at the trash can, "When we find a ship from your people, we try to get it there." Raven laughed a bit, "People can't figure out how to turn them on, so they've just sat gathering dust, but the scientists eat up anything related to you guys, and the pay for the scrap is better then you'd get out of anything else."

Osa had been rummaging through his things in hopes of finding some of his own stash of the fuel, but what little he had wouldn't even be enough to start back up the engine. She hadn't started getting ready herself. Osa kept everything under lock and key, and truthfully gave her limited access to his things, "You have anymore of these cans of food? We could use some on the trip."

He purred before pointing back at the rock door, "In my room." The Irinaut's feathers ruffled, "I'll make sure to get some out of my things before we leave in the morning." Osa's eyes dimmed, "Raven, are you certain you want to do this?"

Raven nodded. She stood up, casually walking over to Osa to see what he was packing. It wasn't unusual to see Osa in just shorts. Being down here he hadn't left in weeks, leaving his things very limited. She found her own eyes wandering. She admired his feathers and the way they fluffed when he was excited or curious. His body was well tone, but scarred from centuries of war. When he asked her the question, she snapped back, "Huh? Y-Yeah."

Osa's eyes brightened. He leaned forward, "Are you alright?" He brought his hand up to her cheek, his feathers ruffled, "I see the blood coming to your face."

Raven's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know what she was feeling. Even with his size the Irinaut was gentle. He had a light touch, and wasn't shy to do so. The woman grabbed his arm before pulling his hand down, and spouting off, "I've seen 'your blood' in your cheeks as well, Osa." Her face was blazing when she spoke up, "I'm sure about helping you, but no hurting my people. Just the infected, deal?"

Osa watched her calmly. A purr rumbled in his chest as his feathers raised. The gold tips giving off their own pulse of light. He didn't respond about his blush, only bringing his hand back to finish packing his things, "I only kill when I have to, Raven. They take the first shot. I'm surviving just like them." He continued looking at his mask and protection, making sure nothing was broken or undone. One crack and he'd end up like the infected.

Raven frowned. She didn't know how to respond to that, "So, if your queen controls the male's why didn't she infect everyone? How did you and others get away Osa?"

"More questions." Osa tied his plastic bag shut, "When she initially became sick we still had queens. It gave us enough time to get away, but it came at the cost of all of them." He sighed, "If she were near earth I wouldn't be able to fight it off. Those of us that got away, never truthfully got away. I see Yok everytime I walk out these doors." Osa looked at the time, "We'll leave in the morning. Just get the rest, and I hope you're ready for an early swim. I'll get you a bag for your clothes and gear so we can attempt to stay dry."

Raven had learned to stop pushing him to much, but the mystery of Osa just seemed to draw her in. At the mention of leaving in the morning, the woman withdrew a bit, "Yeah, not ready for that." She still hadn't gotten the nightmarish scene of being dragged into the blackened waters out of her mind. The woman clasped her hands together, causing Osa to turn his attention back to her, "Weird question but do you have like, somewhere I can shower or wash off before we leave?" She rubbed the shaved side of her head, "These water bottles you have been giving me just isn't doing it."

Osa thought for a moment. The Irinaut shrugged, "You're just going to get wet tomorrow. What's it matter?" He hummed. His joke didn't earn him a laugh. The male chirped, "I suppose you can use my facilities."

"So you do have a shower? Could have let me use it before!" Raven looked around the main hall, "Alright, but where is it?" She went through her bag and grabbed her soap.

"You had bombs attached to my body." The large male grunted. Osa gestured towards one of the stone doors. He clicked a few of the crystal buttons, and the doorway opened. The Irinaut gestured Raven to go through, "Go on." He chirped, "It won't hurt you."

Raven reluctantly walked through the strange door. To her surprise, she saw the room was quite tidy unlike the other. Osa had a pile of blankets neatly layered similar to what he gave Raven. He had cases of water, food, really anything you would need. His walls had maps, and different relics of his own past that Raven couldn't decipher herself what they were.

One thing that caught her eye was the clear case with a full armored suit. It had a full mask and oxygen tanks. The entire body of it was very crystal like. It was ultra violet in color, and the edges trimmed with black and gold. The helmet's mask was the same color, with the trim following the same pattern, "Why aren't you wearing that when you go out? It's amazing. I've never seen anything like it."

Osa glanced back at Raven. He was putting some things away, and seemed to be looking for something, "Hmm?" He glanced at the armor, "I would stick out to much." He stated, "To hot for it. Many things. That armor is to be wore with pride." He hummed, "There's no pride in killing your sick brothern." He began clicking, as he rummaged through his things before grabbing a towel, "Here." Osa tossed it towards her. The being moved towards another door, and clicked the button. The door opened, and a large blue light lit up the room. It steamed inside, even rolling out the door into his room,

"Woah." Raven all the while just followed him around the room. When she felt the steam come from inside the room she was surprised. Most of the time the ship was freezing. Being underwater is wasn't a surprise. She peeked inside and saw a pool of water, but it was solid black. The woman couldn't tell if it was the lining or the water itself. It had small white dots reflecting through it. The water had a constant flow, "Do you not have like, a shower?" She looked at the pool of water, "How do you even get in? It looks deep."

Osa hummed. He reached his hand underneath the waterfall. As he did, that made it clear the water was, different, "One thing I was able to bring from home." He purred, his ruffles raised, "Hot lake," He thought for a moment, as if he needed to correct himself, "Eternal hot spring, like you have here? It runs warm, and reminds me of home." The Irinaut grinned, something he hadn't done much of the time he was there, "Jump in." His skin had a soft glow, his golden veins shimmered. He gestured towards the water, "All our cleaning facilities are like this."

Raven seemed hesitant. She had never seen anything like this. Though he touched it, she didn't know what he could do with this liquid.

"What? And hit the bottom?" Raven glanced at him. Truth be told she didn't know how big the ship was. Osa had kept her in one place, and it was clear he limited himself as well. Most door ways were blocked off with his tools or trinkets, "No I can't." Raven shook her head, "You jump in it."

Osa cocked his head curiously. The Irinaut's feathers fell flat to his neck, "If I wanted to hurt you, Raven, I believe it's clear I already would have."

Raven's eyes widened, "I didn't even say anything about it."

He shrugged, "You don't have to." Osa suddenly stepped off the ledge and into the water, but was instantly being submerged in the water and disappearing.

Raven's eyes widened as she watched him step off. She watched the water dance and shimmer, "Osa?" The woman leaned down next to the water. She gripped the edge. It was oddly so silent, and Osa wasn't coming up. The woman tapped the ledge, oddly starting to get worried, "Osa?!" She reached down into the water. It was warm and made her skin tingle. It had been a while since she had a warm shower, but as she reached around in the water, there was no bottom up to her shoulder, and no walls, "Osa?" She was starting to panic. The woman was reaching around frantically in the water before she felt something grab her hand.

Raven screamed and yanked back, only for Osa to come up from the water, keeping a tight grip on her wrist, "I told you, it's fine." He held her arm so she couldn't run, "Why are you so afraid?"

"Osa let go I'm not getting in there." She had her eyes shut tightly, "You're going to soak my clothes I said let go."

The creature cocked his head. His eyes glowed as he watched her, "You can't swim." Osa hummed before letting go of her arm as she gave a final rough yank.

"Could you just get out so I can figure this out, please?" Raven looked towards the water, "I'll just sit on the edge of it."

Osa seemed confused, but he didn't argue, pushing himself up from the water, his shorts were soaked; sticking to his skin, and giving him rather defined body lines. The being was very well toned and weathered. Irinaut's naturally tall. The male looked over the dark haired female before crouching down next to her, "I can help you learn. How are you going to get out of here if you can't swim?"

Raven shook her head, "Same way you got me down here. I just need help getting pulled back up that's all." Her eyes traveled over him. Truthfully she couldn't help but advert her gaze to his body, his eyes. Osa was handsome, and the woman couldn't help but curse herself for thinking so, "I, no I don't need your help learning how to swim I'm not five."

He didn't seem to understand the analogy, his head cocking to the side for a moment, "Well, five or not you can't swim."

"Could you just, go? Let me figure this out? Alone?" Raven gestured for him to shoo, which finally seemed to do it.

Osa grunted. He made his way to the door, "Just yell when you're done." The creature left his bedroom, and Raven behind to wash.

Raven let out a sigh of relief as he walked out. Her cheeks were hot, and the steam from the water wasn't helping. She stood up and peeked around the corner. Of course she had heard Osa leave, but naturally she just want to double check.

Once she realized the cost was clear, she removed her clothes. One of Osa's shirts, and her jeans. Her undergarments soon followed and she found herself washing her clothes before anything. Once she finished scrubbing the grime off them, reluctantly, she put her legs in the water and gently kicked them around. As she washed she found herself occasionally peeking out the door.

Osa, on the other hand, was quietly standing at the door. The Irinaut's heart was racing. His clawed feet scraped the floor as he leaned forward and rested his forward against the wall. He wanted to go back in and oddly enough apologize. The being had dragged her down into the water, and she couldn't even swim.

It was more than that. Osa could tell she was as drawn to him as he was her. The Irinaut felt what she felt, but found himself not acting, almost feeling it wasn't the time to do so.

Raven had finished washing. The floor around her was soaked, but all draining. The woman stood up with her towel around her frame, "Osa? Can you open the door please?" She went to walk around the pool of water, "I'm do-" Raven gasped out as she slid sideways, "G-Gah!" The woman did her best to turn her body, but found herself going towards the water, "N-no!"

SPLASH!

Raven felt her ankle hit the edge before it flipped her upside down; going head first into the pool of water. The woman instantly went to scream in panic, but stopped. She kicked her legs and arms, trying to flip herself over. As she opened her eyes she saw something she didn't expect to see. Even in her panic, the water didn't look like water at all. The woman felt as if she were drowning in space. The white dots reflected throughout the waters, making it look like the water went on for eternity.

The top seemed so far away. Raven reached and stretched, but as she did, she could hear a splash beneath the water before feeling something grab her frame.

Raven didn't struggle, but she was panicking to breathe. As the blue light became brighter and she emerged from the water, she let out a gasp for air.

Osa was breathing calmly as he held her against him in the water. He had braced them on the edge with his arm, and had his hand pressed against Raven's midsection. He swallowed, his cheeks blazed in gold, "Just breathe." Osa was still swimming as he held her up out of the water, "I've got you."

Raven was coughing, her body shaking, but her own arms hadn't left Osa's shoulders, "Osa please get me out of the water."

He didn't hesitate as he helped push her from the water. Raven had her frame curled up as she coughed. Osa's eyes looked over her hour glass frame. The towel lost in the waters. As he climbed out himself, he made his way to his room before coming back with another towel and wrapping it around her, "I've got you."
