It was just a simple swift kiss.
But I felt the electricity travelled from the tip of my hair down to my toes. My mind went blank and my eyes remained open, still shocked from what happened when he gave me another kiss on the lips.
And this time, he took it longer as he started moving lips. With the little strength that I have, I put my palms on his chest to push him away but my mind went totally hazy when he deepened the kiss, his one hand started caressing my waist and the other one on my nape, pushing me a little bit.
I could feel my knees weakening, and my body's about to give up. All I could think of was his warm lips, gently brushing mine, and as he deepened it more.
It was sweet. It was not my first kiss but I felt like I was granted a new experience. It was heavenly.
Ang kamay kong magtutulak dapat sa kanya ay nakakapit na ng mahigpit sa damit niya. I surrendered my whole body to him and even felt his hand on my waist, gripping my back harder.
And when I started answering his kisses back, I felt him stop for a moment, but quickly recovered and kissed me back again.
Nawawala na ako sarili kong huwisyo at ang tanging naririnig ko na lamang ay ang matunog namin na halikan. I felt his tongue seeking an entrance and I did not even hesitate to open up for him, letting our tongues meet each other.
I was supposed to be working right now, but here I am, kissing my Boss in the hallway. It was illogical but never been so right too.
We continued kissing more, when I felt his hand lowering more down to my butt.
Bigla ko siyang naitulak sa gulat. Of course, I was kissed before but I have felt someone’s hands on my butt or any private parts of my body.
I looked at him wide eyed while his eyes looked so sleepy. Nanatili siyang malapit sa akin pero nawala na ang kamay niyang nakahawak sa akin. My body suddenly felt so cold without his hands on my body.
Napapikit ako ng mariin at huminga ng malalim. That was too much….and why did I give in so easily? I was just thinking of ways on how to draw the line between us but with that I did, I am sure he’ll be thinking differently now.
Muli niyang kinain ang maliit na distansya sa pagitan namin kaya wala ulit akong nagawa kung hindi ang mapansandal sa pader. I gasped at what he did but he remained determined.
Ang mga mata niya ay namumungay at para na rin akong nahahawaan sa paraan ng tingin niya.
He then put his both warm hands again on my cheeks, caressing it gently.
“I can’t be the only one feeling this way…please baby…I just need a little bit of hope…”
Napapikit ako sa rahan ng boses niya, parang akong hinehela at pilit na pinapatulog. It was too much.
Hindi ko pa namumulat ang mata ko ng maramdam ko muli ang pagdaan niya ng labi niya sa pisngi, giving me sweet little kisses.
Linagay ko ang kamay ko sa dibdib niya para muli siyang itulak ng kunin niya ang mga ito at hinalikan ang parehong likod nito.
Hindi ko ulit mapigilan na matulala sa ginawa niya.
His eyes look at me gently, and again, he is too transparent. I kind of hated it because I knew he wasn't faking anything…unless he is just good at acting.
But I have been in this field for so long, I could read people’s mind and actions in an instant, and here I am, trying to refuse what I am seeing through his eyes. Ayokong maniwala.
“Lumayo po kayo…” And I can't believe those are the only words that I could utter.
I couldn't even make it stronger because it sounded so weak and soft. Parang nagmamakaawa lang ako imbes na magtunog galit.
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag ng lumayo siya sa akin pero hindi pa rin sapat and distansya namin.
I put my hands against his chest and I heard him chuckle. Muli siyang humakbang patalikod at namula naman ng husto ang pisngi ko sa reaksiyon niya.
Huminga siya ng malalim at muling sumeroyoso ang ekspresyon niya. Umiwas naman ako ng tingin pero sa huli ay muli rin itong bumalik sa mga mata niyang sobrang lambot kong makatingin.
“I won’t be pressuring you, but you won’t expect me to stop courting you.” He then levelled our eyes. “Kailangan mo akong panagutan.” Seryoso nitong saad.
Napasinghap ako sa sinabi niya. It was a violent reaction from me.
“Panagutan?!” I asked confused and in horror.
He looked at me amusingly and stood up straight. “Yeah…you made me fall in love with you. You should be able to catch me.”
Nanlaki ang mata ko sa kanya. “What?!”
He shrugged his shoulders off. “Of course, you have the responsibility over me.”
“Hindi kita mahal!” I almost shouted at him, even pointing my fingers at him.
Humalakhak siya sa reaksyon ko. “That’s why I am courting you…but you should fall in love with me too at the end of the day. Okay?”
Nanatili akong natulala sa kanya. Because what he is saying is just beyond what I have imagined. I barely process all of it.
Ano siya nanghihingi lang ng candy sa kalaro? He is too simple minded.
Muli siyang humakbang palapit sa akin at binigyan ako ng halik sa pisngi.
“Good night, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
And I wasn't able to do anything but watch him enter his unit again, dumbfounded at just what happened between us.
“Ate, kanina ka pa nakatulala!” Brianna exclaimed beside me.
Napatingin ako sa kanya. Her arms crossed on her chest as she looked at me weirdly.
“Ha?” Wala sa sarili kong tanong.
She groaned at my reaction. “I said look, Ate!” Then she gave me her iPad.
I attentively look at what she is pertaining to and it was an announcement from Pierce agency, announcing the release of his song and his concert in the country.
“Diba po bibigyan tayo ng ticket ni Kuya Pierce? We should claim it!” She squealed in excitement.
Napailing ako. I wanted to forget about him even just for a little moment but here is my sister talking about him again.
“May problema ka, Ate?” She asked curiously.
Kaagad akong umiling at ngumiti. “Wala…I’ll talk to him tomorrow?” I was unsure but she still nodded her head excitedly.
I watched her as she continued playing on her own. Mukhang malabo na maiwasan ko siya, and with my sister fangirling over him, it’s just all on his advantage.
Brianne stayed at my apartment all day long. Okay lang sana kung tahimik siya at naglalaro but she kept on talking about Pierce. Hanggang sa pagsakay niya sa kotse ng sinundo siya ni Papa ay muli niyang pinaalala sa akin ang tungkol sa concert.
Napatingin ako sa koste nilang papalayo at sa building sa harapan ko. I haven’t seen him all day but my sister talked about him all day and now…I’ll be seeing him again. Huminga ako ng malalim at naglakad ng walang buhay papasok. I’ll just need a little bit of patience.
I was feeling a little bit uneasy as I rode the elevator. Napatingin ako sa wrist watch ko at malapit ng mag alas syete. Nang tuluyan itong bumukas at nakita sila ni Sir Sebastian na nag uusap sa may hallway ay para gusto ko na lang ulit bumalik sa unit ko.
But it was too late because they are now both looking at me.
Tuluyan akong lumabas at nagpaalam na si Sir Sebastian. Sir Pierce remained by the door while Sir Sebastian instructed me again.
He bid his goodbye right after and by the moment he rode the elevator and disappeared from my sight, my breathing hitched again.
Alam kong nakatitig siya sa likod ko at kung haharap ako ay magkakasalubong ang mga mata namin. But I didn't have a choice, I slowly turned around but my eyes remained on the ground as I walked towards my spot.
“Have you had your dinner?”
Nasa harapan ko na ulit siya kaya wala ulit akong choice kung iangat ang tingin ko. This was the same spot where he kissed me yesterday at namula ulit ang pisngi ko sa sariling naisip.
“Y-Yes, tapos na ako.” I simply responded and nailed my eyes on his chest.
“Okay…I’m not yet finished. Samahan mo ako.” He casually requested which made me raise my brows.
“I have requested security so you are free.” He added more.
The elevator opened and saw two security guards walking towards our direction. Nanlaki ang mata kong napatingin sa kanya.
“This is my job.” I seriously said.
“But it is also your job to see that I am doing fine. I need you beside me.” He said as if he was talking logically.
“So let’s go.” Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko pero kaagad akong bumitaw.
He groaned at my response while I was looking at him ridiculously.
“Hindi mo pwedeng gawin—”
My eyes went totally wide when he pressed his lips again on mine. Tinulak ko siya pero ramdam ko ang panghihina ko muli sa simpleng ginawa niya. He easily held my hand and dragged me towards his unit.
I heard him locked his door at muli ay tinanggal ko ang kamay niyang nakahawak sa akin. Pero wala pang ilang segundo ng muli niya akong kabigin palapit sa kanya at halikan muli.
It was a swift kiss and he chuckled right after.
“Bakit ka ba halik ng halik?” I accused him.
“Why? You don’t like it? You were enjoying my kisses yesterday.”
I gasped at his response as he casually walked past me. Tumingin ako sa likod niyang papalayo sa akin at kaagad akong sumunod.
“I did not enjoy your kisses yesterday.” Depensa ko kaagad habang nakasunod sa kanya.
He stopped in the kitchen and started scooping rice for himself. Nanatili ako sa likod niya, pilit na kinakalma ang sarili sa mga paratang niya.
I heard him chuckle. “You did, you kissed me back and it was a long sweet kiss."
Muli siyang humarap sa akin na may nakakalokong ngisi sa labi niya. Umupo siya at binuksan ang transparent glass na naglalaman ng ulam niya.
“Sit beside me, I need you here.” He commanded without looking at me.
I almost rolled my eyes at his words. He is being too casual about our situation and I am hating all of it. Ako lang ata ang maraming iniisip at nababagabag sa mga sinasabi niya.
“Hindi ako uupo sa tabi mo.” Matigas kong sambit.
He looked up to me and pointed to his sofa. “Then sit on the sofa and wait for me, or you can rest in my room if you want to.”
My mouth dropped open at him. Ano bang sinasabi niya? Why is he so casual about this?
Padabog akong naglakad papalayo sa kanya at umupo sa may sofa. My words weren’t effective against him and he won’t listen to anything. At akala nya rin ba ay susunduin ko siya? No, because I’m gonna be storming out of here once he finishes eating.
Panay ang tingin ko sa orasan. It’s almost fifteen minutes and he is now washing his dishes. I heard him turn off his faucet and I stood up immediately.
“Stay here, I wanna cuddle you.”
Tuluyan akong napaharap sa kanya sa sinabi niya. Biglang sumakit ang ulo ko sa mga pinagsasabi niya.
Nang makalapit siya sa akin ay umupo siya kaagad sa sofa at pinagpag ang tabi nito.
“Let’s cuddle.”
I groaned at him and I almost wanna stomped my feet from too much frustration.
Linagay ko ang kamay ko sa baywang at tumingin sa kanya ng seryoso. He looked up to me but his eyes quickly went down and racked me from head to toe.
I sigh in frustration at what he just did again.
“You know what? This is not courting at all!” I almost shouted at him.
He raised his brow at me which made me feel worse.
“Halik ka ng halik, at hindi ako basta pwedeng patigilin sa trabaho at gawin ang mga bagay na ito!”
I felt like I was talking to a child. Brianna has even more comprehension than him.
“So you are letting me court you now?” He asked happily instead and stood from his seat.
“May magagawa ba ako?” I sarcastically asked and annoyed.
Lumawak ang pagkakangiti niya at bigla akong kinabig ng yakap. His body felt so warm against mine especially when his hand started caressing my back. I felt so warm inside and it felt so comfortable.
The warmth of his body feels like home and in an instant, he was able to take away the frustration he caused me.
