I sat on the bed comfortably and looked around the room, It was a small room with wall painted in cream colour, few photographs hanging on the walls, A small shelf sculptured out of the bricks, a comfy bed and a small couch on the side of it,
A small almirah nearly of his height with a big mirror pasted on it,

A smile forms on my lips looking at the interior of the room and pulling off the veil from my face, I breathed in peace
Today was really tiring but it has to be one of the best day of my life, Won't say the bestest as that still has to come when he'll propose to me which I'll make sure he does,
And thinking about it, I rested my back on the headboard behind and blush crept to my cheeks imagining,
What will he do with me when he'll enter the room? Will he make love to me or call me beautiful? Will he flirt with me making me act shy and then he will be left in awestruck?
I am definitely impact leaving, There is no chance he can take his eyes off me right?
Will he kiss me?
My thoughts came to halt and taping my cheeks continuously, I tried to let the blush off and looked at the door, when it creaked slightly to open
Quickly placing my veil on my head, I sat while criss-crossing my legs and my eyes staring at my hands, that were placed over my lap, acting shy

My thoughts ringed in my mind but the excitement stumbled when I heard the ringing of anklets,
Lifting my face to look upward, My confusion went away when I saw nandini and her friend, entering inside the room with a smile and closing the door behind
They both have changed into their comfy clothes again and had a plate of food in their hands
Walking towards me with a smile, I saw nandini placing the plate infront of me and she sat across me, while the other girl followed her and sat beside her
"Namaskar hamari nayi bhabhi ji" Nandini greeted with a smile, making me chuckle at her excitement and I nodded my head proudly
"Bilkul" I replied, while trailing my sight from her to the girl beside her,
I could see nandini understanding and she introduced her,
"Bhabhi, ye hamari priye saheli, Roop" she introduced while signalling towards her and I smiled at her,
Smiling back at me, I saw roop pushing the plate softly towards me and she said softly "Hamari taraf se bhi namaskar, Bhaiya ne aapke liye Khanna bheja hai, Khanna kha lijiye"
Her words made me knit my eyebrows and I asked "Achha, aur pati dev kaha hai hamare?"
Who does like this on their first night? He should be the one to bring me food and make me have it lovingly

I could see the smile on roop's lips widing and she shrugged her shoulders playfully "Hame nahi malum per agar aap chahein toh bula sakte hai hum aapke pati dev ko, Yaad aarahi hogi aapko unki?" Her words had tease in them and I smiled back at her
"Suhagraat ko kisko apne pati dev ki yaad nahi aati" I replied casually while taking the fruit from the plate and shoving it in my mouth,
Roop chuckled at me, while I looked at nandini who smiled shyly while encircling her pallu's end on her finger
So, she is the shy one
I nodded my head understanding the different personalities and made a morsel of chapati with paneer's curry and forwarded my hand towards nandini
She lifted her face with a smile and I made her eat the morsel
Following the same with roop, I saw wide smiles on their faces, before they both fed me too and we talked in between
Talking to them, I felt lighter and found out that nandini is shy and less talkative wherever roop is completely opposite and she recently got married,
After having the food, They both bid me a good night while taking the plate with themselves too, I saw roop closing the door behind while going outside, only to stop and say "Aapke pati dev ko bhej rahe hai hum" and getting pulled away by nandini awkwardly
I laughed at them and laid back on the mattress , They both are sweet and I think, I made new friends here
Looking at the ceiling while thinking about the new journey, a smile forms on my lips but soon, My resting phase stopped when another someone knocked on the door from outside and I quickly sat straight and hurriedly placed the veil on my head again,
"Ji aa jaiye" I called out and looked at my hands and this time anklets didn't ringed and I lifted my head to look upward and my heartbeats raced
Finally, he came
He was still wearing the golden and cream coloured sherwani with no turban and His curly hairs falling on his forehead making him look handsome
His eyes were fixed on the ground before he closed the door behind and lifted his gaze to look at me,
The excitement I had few moments ago converted into shyness all of sudden and My eyes again trailed the gaze from him to my hands on my laps
I could hear his footsteps before he sat beside me on the bed and suddenly, we heard a creaking sound
It wasn't the door,
I knitted my eyebrows before pulling the veil a little up , looking at him who also looked confused and stood up
Looking around, he shook his head and again sat on the bed and suddenly
The bed collapsed,
"Ouchh" A scream left my lips and my eyes diminished, I could hear a groan from his side too and I looked at my beside
He was laying beside me with his eyes narrowed and I looked towards my front and saw the one leg of the wooden bed broken and the bed collapsed
A gasp left my mouth and quickly pushing myself up, I sat on the floor while keeping my palm over my mouth
Looking towards him, who still laid on the floor, I shook his bicep "Yeh kya kiya aapne" I called out and glared at him, who looked at me confusingly while sitting up
"Hamne kya kiya?" He asked back while looking at the bed and sparing a glance on my face
Pulling off the veil, I face-palmed myself and again looked at the broken bed "Aapne palang tod diya" I said in disbelief and he shook his head confusingly
"Pata nahi kaise hua yeh, aapko lagi toh nahi nah?" He asked while looking at me and holding my hand to look at my wrist, Shaking my head at his casuality, I took my hand back
How can he be so casual about this? What will people think?
"Ham sahi hai, aapne yeh kya kiya, abh ham kaha soyenge?" I asked in terror to which he looked at me concerned and thinking for some moments, He smiled before passing the idea "Maalum nahi, ham maa se puch kar aaye?"
The smile on my face expecting a good idea dropped and I sighed at him, "Aur kya kahenge aap maa se?" I asked while standing up and he stood up too
Thinking for some moments, he smiled before replying "palang Tut Gaya hai toh kaha soye?" He replied and my face snapped towards him
Is he for real?
"Aap ye baat maa se kahenge?" I asked in disbelief to which he nodded awkwardly and my mouth hunged opened
Is he really innocent or acting innocent?
Cupping his face in disbelief, I asked "Aapko malum bhi hai palang tutne ka kya arth hota hai, Virat ji"
I could see his face that held confusion turning red and I breathed in peace finding out he isn't innocent atleast,
"Per, abh kya kare?" He asked looking at me, to which I shrugged my shoulders sitting on the couch aside and replied "Hamari galti nahi hai, aapki galti hai, Aap jano abh kya karna hai"
I replied to which he knitted his eyebrows, before coming towards me and held my wrist "Hamari galti hai kya matlab? Aap bhi toh bistar per bhaithi thi" he replied and I quickly took my wrist back, shooting a glare at him
"Haan toh, jab Tak hum bhaithe the tab tak kuch nhi hua, aap itne bhari hai ki bister aapke bhaithne se tut Gaya, hamari galti nhi hai, Aap jaiye maa ji ke pass" I said back sternly while standing up and folding my hands over my chest
I could see him sighing at me, before he kept his hands on sideways of his waist and bent to my level to stare at me back, "Aap hame bhari bula rahi hai?"
Raising my one eyebrow to him, I nodded my head before replying "Koi Shak hai aapko?" I asked back and his eyes widened
Smirking at him, I looked the other side and he scoffed, "Kripya kar chaliye nah, Kya kahenge ham maa ko?" He whined this time and a small smile formed on my lips but keeping it off, I sat on the floor dramatically and shook my head
"Bilkul bhi nahi, aap jaiye, Hame bhi lajah aati hai" I replied and he sighed making me smile
I saw him taking his steps towards the door and I slowly stood up before he could open the door and when I tried to sit back on the couch, I felt my wrist being pulled back softly and I bumped into him
Standing behind me, He pushed me out with himself and I tried to protest but it all went in vain as I said he is HEAVY and I glared at him
"Maa ji se shikayat kar denge ham aapki, Aaye ek din nhi hua hai hame aur jabardasti per utar aaye hai aap toh" I complained while passing a glare to him, to which he shrugged his shoulders and replied "Maafi chahenge mohatarma pranatu bistar per aap bhi bhaithi thi toh galti me hissa ham dono ka hai, Akele bezzati nahi karwayenge ham apni
Khud doobenge aur aapko bhi lekar doobenge" He replied and a unknown smiled formed on my lips

But the adoreness I had for him stopped when we both reached the aangan and he left me to stand beside me and I looked at my front
There were alot of mattresses placed in the aangan and his cousin's were sleeping on them, I smiled looking at half of them sleeping while some were talking and the attention from their talk diverted to us when Nandini waved at me
"Bhaiya-bhabhi aap yaha?" She yelled asked, from sitting there and everyone looked at us
Keeping my gaze fixed at the ground, I nudged my elbow to him and whispered "Kahiye abh in sab ko, kese kahenge aap"
I asked before placing my steps backward sneakily, making him stand infront and he widened his eyes when he realised and looked back at me in disbelief and I smiled in return
Looking infront in nervousness, We heard the voice of maa ji from between the aangan when she stood up and walked towards us
Smiling softly to me, she confusingly looked at virat ji and I chuckled at his awkwardness, "Kya hua beta?" She asked to him to which he cleared his throat
Smiling to his reaction, I looked at the ground and waited for him to say something, I could feel him turning to look at me for once but seeing my head hung low, he tried to say by himself "Maa ji voh..."
He stopped in between and my smile widened, Placing my palm over my lips, I tried to sush me down and Maa ji again asked "Kya hua Virat?"
He again cleared his throat before looking down and whispering slowly, "Maa ji palang tut Gaya"
His voice had shyness and awkwardness and My smile widened at his low tone
The silence was followed for few moments before I lifted my gaze and the smile turned into awkwardness looking at the red face of maa ji
"Hn?" She let out a voice speechlessly while looking at me and I roamed my eyes in the whole aangan but her
"Maa, palang tut Gaya inki vajah se" He repeated again while signalling towards me and my eyes widened at him,
Such a lier
"Aapki vajah se tuta hai, hamne kuch nahi Kiya, jhuth Matt boliye aap" I ranted without thinking anything and he turned towards me while raising his one eyebrow
"Aap jhuth bol rahi hai, hamne kuch nhi Kiya hai" he ranted back while lying and My eyebrows knitted in anger
Glaring at him, I pointed my finger upward snapping back with something but we both flinched when maa ji scolded us in between "Chup dono, besharam"
She scolded in low voice and glaring at Virat, I saw him whining while pointing at me but she still glared at him and I smiled in win
Whispering something to him, she held my wrist lovingly
Not sparing the glare at me, she said softly "Chalo beta, Me tumhe aaj sone ke liye jagah dikha deti hu" she said and I nodded at her with a sweet smile
Passing a sarcastic smile to Virat ji while he looked at me with eyebrows knitted, I flipped my braid proudly and maa took me in one of rooms
She told me to sit on bed and went out of the room to call someone

Saraswati came outside nandini's room and glared at virat who stood there dumbfounded
Trying to say something, Virat tried to explain things but saraswati just passed by him towards aangan without listening to him, to whisper something in nandini's ear and she gave a judgemental look to Virat before nodding a yes to Saraswati
Virat's cheeks turned red in embrassment and
getting signalled to nandini's room, he sighed while nodding his head
Saraswati walked passed him to the rooftop and suddenly, one of his cousin sister said "Bhaiya thoda teher jao"
She commented and the aangan filled with laughter, Glaring at her before taking the dupatta from the chair aside, Virat threw the dupatta on her face before saying "Kal chup chap, apne ghar chale jaana tum sab" and going inside nandini's room
Closing the door behind, He turned to look at anushka but his eyes softened when he saw her sleeping in the heavy attire while resting her head against the wall
Taking his steps towards her, he looked at her face before smiling a little and whispering "Hamari galti thi"
Looking at the uncomfortable sleeping position of her, he slid his hand under the back of her knees and looked at her face which didn't showed any discomfort in sleep and he lifted her up slowly to lay her on the bed perfectly and pulled the blanket over her
Not having enough space for him to sleep because of her lehenga and neither he wanted to make her uncomfortable, Virat unfolded a matress beside the bed and laid on it while thinking about something
"Kitni chulbuli hai yein, Kaash inka vivah kisi ese vaykti se hota jo inhe Prem karta, Ham aasha kartein hai ki hamari murkhata inke chulbule-pan ko tesh nah pohcha-ye aur ham hamesha Inka sahi khayal rakhne me saksham rahein"
