i woke up the next morning feeling confused and super tired due to the day prior
"ughh" i groaned as i decided i would go back to sleep forgetting pedri would have to come over for his annual checkup on me
pedris pov
i had to go over to isa's place today to check up on her because xavi was on a trip
it's not like i hated seeing her...but it was just a little weird...
i know i fucked up with her many times, but i actually wanted to make things work with us
that's only if isa wants to...
as i arrived i knocked a few times, and to my surprise: no answer.
i figured i could just come in since xavi gave me a key
i looked around the house a bit but i couldn't find isa anywhere so i decided i would look upstairs
i walked straight into her room to see her asleep comfortably
i say down on her bed next to her admiring here
"your the prettiest girl i've ever seen" i whispered to myself not expecting her to hear
"pedri?" she mumbled as she stretched with her eyes still closed
i immediately backed up off of her bed so she wouldn't know i was sitting there
isa's pov
little did his clueless ass know i heard what he said
i wasn't even fully asleep
"pedri?" i mumbled
"hey isa" he said nervously
"don't you have practice today?" i questioned while yawning
"yea you wanna come?"
"of course i do" i said while smiling at him
once we got to the stadium i saw mikky and instantly went up to her and gave her a hug
we started talking about random stuff as the boys practiced
"omg did you see the new transfers?" she questioned as i looked confused
"no? who transferred?" i asked
"mark guiu, joao felix-"
"joao felix?" i cut her off in shock as i remembered the time he tried to hit on me
"yea? what's wrong with him?"
"nothing...anyways, who else?"
"hector fort and that's all i really know of"
"oh woww we got some new players" i said surprised
"yess i'm excited to see what they bring to the team"
"me too girl"
after practice ended i waited for pedri to come out
"hey isa" he spoke as he came out of the locker room
"hey"
"the boys want to go out tonight to dinner i think, wanna come? I think mikkys coming too"
"yes i would love too"
as we got in pedris car he started to speak
"isa..i need to ask you something"
"what is it? is everything okay?" i asked because he seemed serious
"yea...but i just wanted to know..is anything going on between you and gavi?"
"what..no...why?" i answered nervously. what if he found out about the kiss we shared?
"it's just...whenever your brought up in conversation between the team, he always starts smiling and blushing, and that never happens with gavi"
"he also talks about you a lot isa." he added
"oh..? really he does? I mean does he like me or something...?" i questioned knowing i already knew the answer to that
"he probably does...hijo de puta" he spoke as he mumbled the last part
"what's so wrong with him having a little crush?" i teased as i giggled
"because he knows....nevermind..." he spoke
"ok then..."
as we got back to xavis house i gathered my stuff and was about to leave before pedri stopped me
"also...the restaurant is fancy so wear something nice, like a dress"
"okay, will do"
once i had done my makeup and hair it was time for my dress
i had found the perfect dress for the restaurant
it was a mini black dress with and open back and a little bow at the bottom
i decided to text pedri to come pick me up and he said it might take a few minutes more then it usually does to get here
i was a little confused but i just brushed it off
once pedri got to my house he honked so i knew he was outside
i got in the front seat thinking only me and pedri were in the car
"hey isa" i heard a voice say behind me
as i turned around to see who it was i saw gavi in the back seat.
i thought pedri was upset with him? i guess not?
the whole car ride was awkward and at one point pedri put his hand on my thigh and i saw gavi out of the corner of my eye
he looked pissed and he was fuming. I knew pedri was just doing that to get a reaction out of gavi but it made me feel weird...in a good way?
once we arrived to the restaurant we all sat down and i saw gavi eyeing me a few times
i decided i would introduce myself to some of the new players
"im going to the bathroom" gavi said in the middle of dinner
"me too" pedri added
shit.
pedris pov
i needed to confront him. he knows i'm in love with isa and he still chose to go after her
im not clueless i could see the way he looked at her
as soon as i saw gavi before he went into the bathroom i stopped him
"what the fuck is your problem? You know i like her?" i said to him not wanting to admit that i was in love with isa.
"what are you talking about?"
"you like isa. It's so fucking obvious"
"no? i seriously don't know what your talking about"
"you know was your problem is pablo? You act fucking clueless when you know you want her. I'm not stupid"
"no dude. I don't" he said as i started to walk away pissed
"you know what..." he said making me stop in my tracks
"tell her i said she looks hot tonight" he added which made me want to kill him.
i immediately turned around and punched him
"don't you ever say that shit again" i said as i stormed off back to the table
isa's pov
i saw pedri walking back to the table, enraged.
"hey..you ok?" i asked as he sat back down next to me
"mhm." he said bluntly still looking mad as ever.
that's when gavi came back to the table holding the side of his face glaring at pedri
"pedri what the fuck did you do." i scream whispered at him
"nothing. Just letting him know what's mine"
