Valt bite the bread and use the fork to grab the sausage on the plate and eat it. Then, he bite the bread again.
He take the cup and drank it and he harshly put down the cup on the table.
"Look, Valt. I know what you're going through, but..." Chiharu said, worried. "You shouldn't take it out on breakfast,"
"Mmhm," The Aoi Twins nodded in agreement. You were there too. Since you missed breakfast, Chiharu gladly give you the bread, which you baldly accept it.
"But listen! Ever since yesterday, everywhere I look, Wakiya's there!" Valt said as his cheeks become big.
"Was that..." Toko said.
"English?" Nika said.
"Swallow, then talk," Chiharu said, hand him the cup of water. The bluenette gladly accepted it and drank it.
"Listen!" Valt said after he's done. "Here!" He pointed at the bread in the basket, an image of Wakiya appears. "Here!" He pointed at the cereal, Wakiya's there. "Here, here, and here!" He stared to pointed everywhere. "Here, here, here!" He touched his head. "I see Wakiya's face everywhere!"
"Huh?" Chiharu looked at the bluenette. "You trained so hard yesterday, and didn't seem upset at all," she said.
"Well, I had a dream!" Valt said. His mind remind him the dream.
"Jeez. With that much trainin', yer real mistaken of ya think ya can beat my Shield Launch,' Wakiya said. "Yer naive,"
"That's it!" Valt gritted his teeth in anger as a tick mark on his forehead appears. "It makes me so mad!"
"He had nightmares about it?" Toko narrowed his eyes.
"He must've been pretty upset," Nika said, narrowed her eyes too. You and Chiharu sighed.
"This isn't good," Chiharu said, you nodded in agreement.
Valt gritted his teeth as his eyes become sharp
"Ya know, you should get a new bey,"
"It can't beat me,"
"I feel sorry for Valtryek, having you as a partner,"
"That Wakiya...!" Valt angrily muttering and begin to eat fast.
"Hey now, calm down!" Chiharu said, you sighed and the Aoi Twins sweatdropped at their big brother.
"Bro..." Toko said.
"You're too worked up!" Nika said.
Valt ate too fast, this made you sighed.

"I'll win!" Valt yelled out as he put both hands on the bench near Rantaro, who were sitting on the bench.(He's pinned Rantaro- NO YAOI, PLEASE)
"Get off of me, it's too early for this crap!" Rantaro glared at the bluenette. "You're spitting,"
"It's Wakiya!" Valt said, put away his hands.
"That still?" Rantaro said.
"He didn't wanna battle me at all!" Valt said. "Thinking Valtryek's some lab rat, making fun of him!"
"Lick," Besu said, putting his face near Valt.
"Don't mess around!" Valt angrily shouted.
"Chill out!" Keru said.
"I know you're upset, but..." Besu said.
"I've gotta beat him so I can show him how strong Valtryek is!" Valt said.
You couldn't help but sighed as you sat on the bench next to Rantaro.
"If you can, that is. You're his next opponent, and yet..." Keru said.
"He showed you what he was gonna do! It's nuts!" Besu added.
"Hey just that confident," Daigo said.
"And of course it's thrown Valt off," you added.
"Ugh! I can't get Wakiya outta my head!" Valt said, grabbing his hair. He turned to Rantaro, and he suddenly seeing Wakiya. "Honcho is Wakiya!" He turned to Daigo, he sees Wakiya. He turned to Ken, he sees Wakiya as well Keru and Besu. "Everyone's Wakiya!" He then turned to you, he was confused when he only sees you as yourself but not Wakiya. "But for some reason, (Name) isn't Wakiya!"
"Come on! Forget about yesterday!" Rantaro said. "You should just practice hard today!"
"Oh yeah, practice!" Valt said. Immediately take out his launcher and bey. "I'll take out my bey anger with bey!" He said. "And I've gotta perfect the Flash Launch!" You couldn't help but sighed. "Everyone, battle with me!" He walked towards the stadium. "I wanna master the Flash Launch!" The group stared at him. "If I can't, I'll lose to Wakiya," he turned to Rantaro. "You'll practice with me, right?"
"Valt," Rantaro said, stood up from the bench.
"Yeah!?"
Rantaro put both hands on Valt's shoulders. "Are we just for practice?" He said. Valt was dumbfounded when seeing how serious Rantaro is. "Is the Beyclub just about you?"
"What's up with you, Honcho?" You asked, raised an eyebrow at him.
"It's rare for you to be so direct..." Besu said.
"Shut it, you!" Rantaro glared at Besu.
"You don't get it, Honcho!" Valt push Rantaro's hands off of his shoulders. "Wakiya didn't think of us as real opponents right from the get-go!" He turned around. "I won't let him get away with it," he looked down at his bey. "I don't wanna be a loser, and neither does Valtryek,"
'Valt...' you thought. Rantaro sighed and walked away.
"Honcho?" Valt said.
"I'm not gonna battle you when you're like this," Rantaro said, walking off.
"Ken, Daigo!" Valt turned his head towards duo ravenettes.
"Isn't class starting soon?" Daigo said, walking off.
"Sure is!" Keru said as Ken walking off too.
"See ya, Valt!"
"(Name)! Would you please!" Valt turned to you. You sighed and got up from the bench.
"See you after school, Valt," you said and walked off to your class.
Watching his friends were leaving, he said. "Alright, fine then! I'll practice by myself!" He walked towards another side of the stadium.
"Flash Launch!" He released Valtryek onto the stadium. Valtryek lands on the stadium and run until it started to wobbling.
"Rip!"
Failed attempt. Another failed attempt.
"Flash Launch!"
Of course Valtryek stopped spinning.
"Gah, it's pointless! I can't do it!" Valt whined.
From afar, stood you. You were watching him with your (E/C) orbs.

"What kind of stance do I need to do a Flash?" Valt said to himself as he were sitting on his desk while doing something with his fingers. "Like this?"

Both you and Shu were watching him as you sat on Shu's desk. You and Shu looked at each other before turned your heads, you two saw Rantaro, who were standing at the classroom door.

"Jeez, he's just not himself!" Rantaro said. "All he wants is to win!"
"Wasn't he the same way when he fought Daigo?" You asked, raised an eyebrow while Shu were leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.
"Kind of like back then, but not really," Rantaro said. "I can't explain it well, but he's way too worked up..." He said. "Like he forgot what's important," he looked at you and Shu. "So Shu, (Name), you two should tell him!" You and Shu looked at the blonde. "Tell him he's acting weird!"
"You care about him, Kiyama," Shu smiled.
"Softie," you giggled, Rantaro slightly blushed.
"I'm just worried," Rantaro said. "If you two just tell it to him it is, I feel like it'll cure him!"
"Am we just some magic cure?" Shu said.
"This isn't fantasy, you know that," You narrowed your eyes at the blonde.
"Ah, no, it's not like that..." Rantaro said, scratching the back of his head. "You two are Valt's aiming for,"
"Maybe his goals have changed," Shu said, you harshly nudges him, made him winced in pain and glared at you. You glared back.
"Wakiya Murasaki. His battles have no openings," you said.
"Woah, are you two being chicken!?" Rantaro said, staring at the two of you.
"Who's the chicken?" Shu said and stopped leaned against the wall and walked off.
"Wait, we're not done talking!" Rantaro shouted at the albino as you just stare at him.
"Hey," Shu said, stopped his tracks. "Let me ask you this," he turned his head. "What's the normal Valt like?"
"He's an idiot. The good kind," Rantaro said. This made you and Shu smiled.

Daigo, Ken and Valt were there.
"Well, this morning was one thing," Daigo said.
"We've been thinking," Keru said. "Valt, you're way too worked up,"
"We tell you to calm down, and you won't listen at all!" Besu added.
"And so, in order to cool you down..." Keru said.
"We thought it'd be best to do what you love best!" Daigo said, showing Doomscizer to Valt.
"We'll do it..." Keru said.
"We'll battle!" Besu added.
"You'll do it!?" Valt smiled. "Alright. Let's hurry and practice the Flash Launch!"
"But if it's practice... then no," Keru said. Valt looked at them in slightly shock.
"Sure, practicing the Flash Launch's important..." Besu said. "But we just wanna battle with you as members of the Beyclub,"
Throwing his bey out, he caught it while grinning. "Alright, let's do it!" He said. "I'll just empty my head and battle like that!"

First, Ken and Valt as Daigo being a ref.
"First Battle!"
Both Ken and Valt took their stances.
Valt then, suddenly looked at Ken and Ken's head replace with an image of Wakiya.
"Valtryek's nothin' to be scared of," the image of Wakiya spoke. "My goal's to be the best," the image of Wakiya said. "I just need to beat Shu's Spryzen and (Name)'s (Bey Name) with my Wyvron!"
"Wakiya!" Valt angrily shouted.
"That's Ken! Not Wakiya!" Daigo said.
"I know!"
"Ready, Set!"
"Three, two, one!"
"Let it...Rip!"
Valt and Ken released their beys into the stadium. Both blue and green bey lands on the stadium smoothly. Valtryek went off running and it suddenly went near the stadium wall and knock out, made Keru caught it with his mouth.
Daigo and Valt sweatdropped.
"My bad..." Valt nervously scratch the back of his head.

Valt made a weird expression before become serious.
"Let it Rip!"
Second attempt, Valtryek run towards the red line and got out of the stadium and this time, Besu caught it.
"You trying to make us laugh?" Daigo said as Valt sweatdropped.
"I said I'm doing my best," Valt said.

Third attempt, Valt lowered his launcher down.
"I've got this!" Valt said. "Let it Rip!" He released his bey into the stadium. "Alright, I did it!"
"Valtryek, Rush Launch!"
Valtryek went to Kerbeus and hit it.
"Rush, rush!"
Just like that, Valtryek perform a Rush Launch.
"Block it!" Keru said. "That's it, Kerbeus!"
After a few attacks, Valtryek turned and hit Kerbeus, the blue bey burst. Valt gasped.
"Ken, Burst Win," Daigo declared, extended his arm towards Ken. Valt fall on his knees.
"Why?" He touched his bey pieces on the ground. "Why am I losing?" He said. "It's true. Without the Flash Launch, I'll lose..."
"Seriously. Your form isn't the only thing wrong here," Daigo said.
"You're not getting into it," Keru said.
"Try harder!" Besu added.
"You're thinking of Wakiya too much. This time, I'll go," Daigo said, taking out his launcher.
"No," Valt said. "I don't wanna lose!" His eyes watering with tears.
"What!?" Daigo looked at the bluenette.
Taking his bag, put it on and run off.
"What's his problem?" Keru asked.
"What a little kid!" Besu added.
"We are kids, though," Daigo said.
"Don't ruin my joke," Keru said, lowering down.

You and Shu were practicing together since Shu asked you to be his training partner for a day, you agreed.
Shu insert his bey into his launcher.
"Oh, (Name) and Shu!" The Aoi Twins saw you and Shu. The twins run up to you two.
You and Shu nodded at each other before took your stances.
Nika run up to Shu and her foot suddenly bumped into the stairs, causing her to fall. At the same time, you and Shu were about to launch. In the slow motion, you saw Nika bumped into Shu's shoulder, causing Shu groaned in slightly pain.
"Ah, sorry!" Nika apologized.
"Jeez, be careful, Nika!" Toko scolded his twin.
You sighed and pick up Spryzen on the stadium. You hand him his bey back. Shu gladly take it. You and Shu turned to the twins.
"Are you hurt?" Shu asked.
"No, I'm fine!" Nika said.
"We interrupted you two, huh?" Toko said.
"Don't worry about it," Shu smiled. "Oh, yeah, where's Valt?"
"He went to the Beyclub," Toko answered.
"Then can you ask him something for me?" Shu said, you raised an eyebrow at Shu.
"Sure! What is it?" Toko said.
"Is Valtryek happy?" Shu said. The Aoi Twins looked at each other and looked back at him.
After the twins left, you turned to him, you sees him hissed in pain while holding his shoulder.
"It's hurt, right?" You said, Shu turned to you.
"It's fine, (Name)," Shu said. "I'll be fine,"
"No, you're not," You said, crossing your arms. "Look, just go to the hospital,"
"(Name). I said, it's fine," Shu smiled.
"You sure?" You raised an eyebrow before walked up to him, you poke his injured shoulder, causing him to gasp. "Your reaction," you said. "You're not fine,"

"I'm sorry, Valtryek," Valt whispered. He let out a sigh. "How can I win?" He placed his face on his desk. "If I don't win... I'll never beat Shu and (Name)..."

"Amazing! You've got a beystadium at your house, Nika?"
The noises made Valt turned his head.
"Here is it," Toko said. "It's not as big as a real one for battles, though,"
"That's why big brother doesn't use it that much," Nika said. Then, Valt walked up to them and he saw the twins with a little boy with orange hair.
"Your big brother's winning lots at the Regionals, right?" Akio said. "He's so cool!" The Aoi Twins laughed at him.
"Alright, Akio, let's battle!"
Valt were watching them and didn't notice someone were approaching him.
"Yeah! Let's do it!"
Valt turned his head and saw you. You give him a look before turned your head towards the twins and Akio.
"Okay, First Battle!" Nika said, being a ref.
"I'm ready!" Toko took his stance.
"Yeah!" Akio also took his stance too.
"Ready, Set!"

Two boys released their beys into the stadium.
"Get him!"

You and Valt just watching them.
"Send him flying!"

One collision, the lime green bey burst.
"Toko, Burst Win!"

Both boys pick up their beys.
"You were great," Toko said to his bey.
"Huh? Are you talking to your bey?" Akio asked.
"Bro brother's always doing it," Nika said.
"Calls him "partner", too!" Toko said, showing his bey.
Valt couldn't help but slightly shocked. You smiled.
"That's cool!"
"You should try it, Akio!" Toko said.
"Okay, I will!" Akio said and look at his bey. "Let's win the next one," then, his face turned red in embarrassment. "This is awkward,"
"It's not at all!" Nika said.
You and Valf smile at each other, you two silently giggled.
"Hey, let's do another!" Akio said.
"I'll go next!" Nika said, a launcher on her hand.
"Alright then!" Akio said.
"Nika's pretty good," Toko said.

They released their beys into the stadium and they both clashing to each other.

You and Valt smiled at the scene.
"They're good. Both Toko and Nika," Valt said. You hummed and nodded in agreement.
"You are their big brother," you said, Valt smiled back.
Two beys attacking in slow.
"Just a bit more, you can do it!" Nika cheered.
"Just a little more!" Akio cheered.
Valt gasped and smiled. "I get it,"
"What it?" You turned to him.
The orange bey stopped spinning.
"I did it!" Akio cheered.
"Spin Finish, one point to Akio!" Toko said, extended his arm towards Akio.
Nika started to tear up, this made Akio and Toko panic.
"Wait a sec!" Akio said.
"Nika, it's fine! Just do your best next time!" Toko said.
"Okay. Sorry," Nika said and stopped tearing up.
"Battle me next!" Toko said.
"Okay, let's do it!" Nika smiled.
"Look, you're smiling already!" Akio run up to the twins.

"Win or lose..." Valt said. "They're still happy," he smiled. You smiled and nudge him, made him turned to you.
"Do you get it now?" You said, Valt nodded. Valt take out his bey. He remembered Rantaro, Daigo, Ken, Toko, Nika, and you.
"Valtryek. I wasn't thinking about you at all," Valt said to his bey. He suddenly screamed, made you flinched and gaining the kids attention. "What am I doing!?"
"Idiot!" You practically take out your fan and about to smack him for screaming.
"Bro!" Toko smiled.
"He's home!" Nika said.
"I'll battle too!" Valt said, showing his bey to the kids.
"Can I join?" You smiled, showing your bey to them too.
"Really!?"
Valt jumped down on the grass.
"Bro, your shoes!"
Akio stare at you in stunned. The Aoi Twins turned to him.
"Akio?" Nika asked.
"Y-you're... You're (Name) (Last Name)!" Akio yelled out, pointed his index finger towards you. You let out a chuckle.
"Yep! That's me!" You winked at him. Akio smiled brightly.
"I can't believe it! I'm your biggest fan!"
"Oh really?" You smiled, Akio nodded. "Well then, do you wanna battle with me?" You asked, showing your bey to him. Akio gasped and nodded excitedly. You couldn't help but laughed.

"It'll take a full month to recover,"
"A full... Month?" Shu questioned, holding his injured shoulder.
"Looks like you've been stressing your shoulder," the doctor said. "Perhaps you play some sports?"
"Just beyblade," Shu replied.
"Ah, so you're a blader!" The doctor said.
"Yes,"
"For now, you need to fully recover," The doctor said. "No blading for a month," he said. "Okay?"
Shu glanced at his shoulder with a frown on his face.

'A hospital, huh?' Orochi thought. 'Is his tuning off?' Shu hardened his eyes.

"You don't seem nearly as stressed as this morning," Chiharu said.

"I should be thinking about bey, not Wakiya!" Valt smiled.
"I've got no idea what you're on about," Chiharu said.
"It's fine! As long as I got it!" Valt said, eating.
"Oh well. As long as you're happy, I'm happy!" Chiharu said.
"Oh yeah, I nearly forgot!" Toko suddenly spoke.
"Yeah, a message from Shu!" Nika added.
"From Shu?" Valt asked.
"He was practicing at the park with (Name)!" Toko said.
"And he wanted us to tell you something!" Nika said.
""Is Valtryek happy?"" Toko said.
"Is Valtryek happy... Huh?" Valt said and started to think.
"He's thinking hard," Nika said, sweatdropped along with Toko.

The next day, at Beigoma Academy. You and Shu were walking together.
"Shu! (Name)!" Valt called out as he's running towards his two best friends. You and Shu turned your heads.
"You're not late, surprising," Shu said.
"You usually came late," you said.
"So do you," Shu said to you, made you glared at him.
"You talked with Nika yesterday?" Valt asked.
"Yeah," Shu nodded.
"Valtryek's happy," Valt grinned.
"Is he?" You asked.
"So let me show you how well he's doing!" Valt said. "Come to the Beyclub after school! Let's battle!"
"Well, I..." Shu said.
"Come on! You know, when I lost to Wakiya, I was so mad I couldn't stop thinking about him," Valt said. "And so I wasn't thinking about Valtryek..." He said. "It wasn't like me at all,"
"Is sure wasn't," Shu said, made you chuckled.
"You, thinking?" You teased the bluenette.
"Hey, watch it!" Valf playful glare at you. You and Shu looked at each other and looked at Valt.
"Alright," Shu said. "After school,"
"Yeah!" Valt cheered.

"Totally different from yesterday," Rantaro said. "Something good happen?"
"Shu's coming to the beyclub today!" Valt said, his eyes sparkles.
"What, Shu!?" Rantaro said, shocked.
"He promised he'd battle me! I'm crazy pumped!" Valt excitedly said. You couldn't help but sighed at him.

"Big brother!" The Aoi Twins were running towards Valt at the rooftop.

"Shu's coming!" Toko said.
"We're gonna study this battle!" Nika added. The Aoi Twins turned their heads and saw Shu were approaching them. You just stared at the albino. You know he got his injured shoulder.
"Here's Shu!"
Shu noticed a look on your face. Shu mentally sighed. He knew you need to talk to him later.
"Let's battle already!" Valt cheered.
"It's really like yesterday didn't happen," Rantaro said.
"What happened to that winning obsession?" Daigo questioned.
"Of course I wanna win!" Valt said. "He was making fun of me, so I got really mad all by myself..." He said, his face slowly turned red. "I left Valtryek behind!" You saw Valt's face turned red. "You can't battle by yourself!"
"Uh, Valt?" You called out.
"It's all about the bey and the blader!" Valt ignored you and continue ranting. "And now with the Beyclub, and more members, I'm having a lot of fun with bey!" His face already turning red.
"Hey!" You shouted and smacked his head with your paper fan, Valt's head exploded and smoke came out from his head. He fall down.
"Bro!" the Aoi Twins freaked out.
"Oh man, he thought too hard!" Rantaro said.
"Barely," you sighed. Shu was shocked.
"Cool him down!"
"Get some water!"
"It's because he was being so serious! Jeez..."

"First Battle!" Rantaro being a ref. You stare deeply at Shu. shu could feel you're staring at him and he took a glance at you, he give you a "don't worry" look.
Valt insert his bey into his launcher. "Let's do it, partner!"
Shu took his stance.
'For my shoulder, I'll end it in one battle,' Shu thought. As he was touching his launcher's cord, a jolt on his shoulder, causing him to groaned slightly. You noticed Shu changed his stance.
"Shu...?"
"His form's different!"
"Is this a new technique!?"
"Is Shu even stronger now!?"
"Who knows?" Shu smirked. "Just trying things out,"
You gritted your teeth, with your eyes slightly widened.
'Shu, you idiot! You're hurting your shoulder!' you thought.
"Shu's so cool!" Valt smiled. Shu smiled back and took glance at you, he noticed you're glaring at him. He turned back, trying to avoid your glaring.
"But Valtryek and me, we'll show you how strong we are together!" Valt said.
"Ready, Set!"
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Let it..."
You gasped as you saw Shu launched.
"Rip!"
Both bladers released their beys into the stadium and Valtryek run around the stadium. Spryzen's also running around.
'S-Shu!' Your eyes widened while staring at the albino in shock.
Both blue and red bey made contact with each other and they got knocked away. Valtryek and Spryzen made a U-turn, they clash.

"Nice, Valt! This is totally different from yesterday!" Daigo praised. "This is the normal Valtryek!"
"Spryzen's not any slower, either!"
'Now I know why Valt and Shu were desperate to battle me... Because they wanted to prove themselves they can beat me,' you thought and smiled.
The blue aura surrounded Valt. "Rush Launch, Valtryek!"
Valtryek burst out a blue flame, revealing its avatar. Valtryek perform a Rush Launch to Spryzen.
"Here it is!" Nika smiled.
"Rush Launch!" Toko cheered.
'This attack isn't just for Spryzen!' Shu was shocked. 'It's hitting me, too!' he glanced at Valt. 'Valt's getting stronger...' Valt noticed Shu were staring at him. He give out a grin. 'But my Spryzen will never lose!' Shu's red aura surrounded him. "Spryzen!"
Spryzen burst out a flame, revealing its avatar.
Valtryek collided with Spryzen and pushing the red bey out.
"He blocked it!" Valt grinned.
You gasped when you saw Spryzen were near the red line.
"Counter Break!" Shu commanded. Spryzen obeyed the command and dashed towards Valtryek.
Collision and Valtryek burst.
"It's over!" Rantaro said, pointed his large fan towards Shu. "Burst Finish, Shu wins!"
You couldn't help but glare at Shu, who were doing his victory signature.
"Amazing," Valt's eyes sparkles. "Shu, you're awesome!" He smiled. "This battle got me excited!" He said. "Thanks, Shu!"
Shu give him a nod.
"I'm gonna try even harder and be stronger than ever!" Valt picked up his bey. "I'm going to the finals and beat (Name)!"
You heard and let out a chuckle. Shu picked up his bey and smiled. "Looking forward to it,"
"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you when you're in the finals," you teasingly said to Valt. Valt pouted at you. Shu turned around and walked away.
"Eh? Leaving already?" Nika said.
"Can't you play some more?" Toko said.
"I only promised one battle," Shu replied while walking.
"Not much we can do about that," Rantaro said, putting his hands behind his head.
"I thought we'd get to battle, too," Daigo said.
"Sorry!" Valt nervously chuckled. "Now let's battle together!"
"Yeah!"
You sighed before behind to run to find Shu.
"Huh? Where is she going?" Rantaro asked.
"I don't know," Keru said.

"Shu!"
Shu stopped his tracks and turned to you.
"(Name)?"
"What'd the doctor said to you?" You asked. Shu sighed.
"No blading for a month," Shu said and avoid your gaze. "And I need to fully recover,"
"You idiot, idiot, idiot," you glared at him, Shu flinched and feeling guilty.
"I'm sorry, (Name)..."
"You better be or else, you won't be able to face me in the finals," you said. Shu sighed before he heard voices.
"Yeah, Valtryek!"
"Rush, rush!"
"Go, bro!"
"C'mon, dog-boy!"
"I'm not dog-boy, I'm Ken!"
You and Shu turned your heads towards the rooftop.
You smiled. "Good luck, Valt," you mumbled.
