THE TWO STAYED UP TALKING FOR HOURS. Eventually, Killian left to return to the bayou for the rest of the night but they made plans to get lunch together the next day.

When Marjorie's eyes fluttered open she immediately recoiled when she saw her dad sitting in the chair next to her bed with a sketch pad in his lap.

"What the heck?" Marjorie furrowed her brows

"Good morning, little Pearl." Klaus greeted nonchalantly, not bothering to look up from his sketch

"Uh, hi." Marjorie pushed herself up into a sitting position before looking over at her dad. "Did you need something?"

"I'm about to tell you something, and you're probably going to be angry. So, I was hoping this sketch might be able to help soften the blow." Klaus sat his pencil down before handing the sketch book over

Marjorie hesitantly took it before looking down at the paper, she smiled softly. Klaus had sketched Marjorie and Killian dancing together last night. She knew Klaus was an artist and a good one at that, but she was blown away by how he was able to capture emotions in his art.

Looking at the sketch Marjorie could feel the comfort and happiness radiating from the two, as if she wasn't the girl who was drawn in the picture. Like she was just a stranger admiring the art in front of her.

"It's beautiful dad, I love it. Thank you." Marjorie smiled and Klaus nodded, happy that she liked it

"I'm glad. Killian seems to make you happy." Klaus recalled the large smile that graced his daughters face the whole time she was with the boy in question

He hadn't seen her smile like that since everything went down with the witches and Rebekah leaving a month ago. Even though he wasn't too thrilled that a boy was the one to lift her spirits, he couldn't ignore the uplift of her mood. So, he would try his best to not be too overbearing or overprotective where Killian was concerned.

"Yeah he does. It's all pretty new obviously, but our uh, soulmate connection thing helps." Marjorie nodded with a soft smile

"I still can't believe it. My baby girl has a soulmate." Klaus shook his head with a light chuckle

"You never know dad, you might have one out there too. Just because soulmates have only ever been heard of from my birth mom's pack doesn't mean that it isn't a possibility for others." Marjorie grinned

"If I had a soulmate I'm sure the ancestors took her away long ago." Klaus waved her off

Marjorie frowned softly, she wanted her dad to find someone and be happy. Even if he didn't have a soulmate, she still wanted him to find someone who makes him feel alive. Who makes him feel loved.

"You never know." Marjorie shrugged. "So, what is it that you wanted to tell me?"

"I've made a deal with Genevieve." Klaus admitted as he watched his words sink in Marjorie's head

"You what! Are you freaking kidding me?!" Marjorie yelled and Klaus winced

Marjorie immediately got out of her bed and started pacing around while Klaus rubbed his forehead, anticipating the lecture he was about to receive.

"Did you seriously just say that you are working with that bitch? The one who kidnapped and tortured you and Auntie Bex, almost burned Hayley and the baby alive, knocked Killian unconscious, and put a sleeping spell on me forcing me to relive my worst memories! That Genevieve or is there another evil bitch out there with the same name who's also a witch?" Marjorie snarled

"That's the one." Klaus hesitantly replied and Marjorie scoffed

"You have got to be kidding me! Why? In what world do you think that having anything to do with her or the French Quarter witches in general is a good idea? After everything they've done to us." Marjorie asked with a frown on her face

"Regardless of your Uncle Elijah's treaty, it doesn't change the fact that we are all natural enemies. A rift is bound to happen eventually, and when it does the witches will need protection that only I can provide. No one will dare start a fight with them if I am on their side and in return they will pledge their allegiance and loyalty to me insuring yours and our families protection." Klaus explained, in his mind this was a win win.

They would have powerful witches in their back pocket for when the time came that they need them. Then the witches would no longer have to live in fear of the different factions.

But Marjorie couldn't get past the feeling in her gut, she didn't trust Genevieve or the witches as far as she could throw them. She believed them to be cunning, manipulative, and selfish.

Something told her that aligning with the witches in any way would come back to bite them, nothing good could come out of it. If anything someone could get killed because of it.

"This is a really bad idea." Marjorie urged

"It will be fine. You're forgetting that I've been dealing with witches for a thousand years. I know how to handle them, just as long as they get something in return they will be loyal." Klaus promised and Marjorie raised her brows

"And you think your promise to protect them is going to be enough?" Marjorie asked doubtfully

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Klaus shrugged

"When all this blows up in your face, I'll make sure to say I told you so." Marjorie sighed and Klaus grinned as he stood up

"I expect nothing less." Klaus chuckled before leaving the room

Marjorie sighed and flopped down onto her bed after he left. She would've thought that after living for over a thousand years Klaus would've learned from his mistakes. But it doesn't seem like that's the case and all Marjorie can do is hope that they all make it out of this mess alive.

The sudden sound of power tools and hammering made Marjorie jump in surprise, she furrowed her brows before getting up and dressed for the day before leaving her room to investigate.

It seemed her dad was also curious about all the noise as they bumped into each other in the hallway, Marjorie still frustrated with his alliance with Genevieve pushed past him without a word making Klaus sigh at her stubbornness.

He couldn't help but think of what Rebekah would say to him right now, she'd probably call him an idiot and come to her niece's defense saying that stubbornness is a Mikaelson family trait.

One that she inherited from Klaus himself.

Marjorie paused when she stepped out onto the balcony that overlooked the courtyard. There was a bunch of random men walking around working on the floors, walls, ceiling, doing all kinds of different things that Marjorie had no clue about.

What she did know was that all the racket was starting to give her a headache and she was counting down the minutes until Killian would swing by to pick her up for lunch.

"Enough with all the racket!" Klaus yelled making the room go silent

"What he said." Marjorie huffed leaning against the railing

"Is there a problem, brother?" Elijah addressed the father and daughter who looked less than impressed

"It's too early for all the noise!" Marjorie grunted and Elijah smirked in amusement

"It's 10:00, sweetheart." Elijah reminded her and Marjorie raised her brows

"Exactly." Marjorie deadpanned

"Enough about the time! I agreed to a general sprucing up, not a bloody three-ring circus." Klaus complained, not happy now that all the racket made his daughters mood worse than it was

Which won't be good for any of them. Having an unhappy Marjorie isn't good for anyone.

"Marcel and his minions abused our home for the better part of a century. Now, you might be content to live in squalor. I'm not." Elijah looked around in disgust

"He's not wrong. Last week I saw a family of cockroaches fleeing out the front door." Marjorie commented earning chuckles from both men

The father and daughter moved downstairs to join Elijah in the courtyard, being careful not to step on the many pieces of concrete and stone that had been thrown to the side during the construction.

"It's a new era in the French Quarter. This place could use a makeover." A new voice spoke up making Marjorie clench her jaw

Genevieve strutted into the courtyard and Klaus sighed clenching his jaw, hoping that he could've kept the interaction between Marjorie and her to a minimum. For Genevieve's sake.

"I guess hell really has frozen over." Marjorie scoffed and Genevieve shot her a smile

"It's good to see you too, Marjorie." Genevieve winked

Marjorie had to refrain from letting all the many insults in her brain slip out, not wanting to be in the same room let alone have to interact with the witch in front of her.

"Can't say I agree. I was hoping the next time we crossed paths it would be when I finally get to kill you." Marjorie grinned sarcastically

Genevieve hid her glare with a small smile, knowing that if Marjorie decided to say "screw it" and kill her she very well could. Right now it is best to not provoke the girl.

"Can we get on to the reason for your visit, Genevieve?" Elijah sighed, also not happy with her presence

"Of course. I actually have a request. I'm told our coven hasn't been able to celebrate feast days in the open since Marcel restricted the use of magic. Now with the new peace, I'd like that to change." Genevieve requested and Marjorie looked at her like she was crazy

After everything she and the witches have done to her and her family she has the audacity to come and ask for a favor.

"Am I to assume that you have a certain feast day in mind?" Elijah inquired with an unamused expression in his face

"La Fête des Bénêdictions. Feast of the Blessings. In the past, members of the community offered witches gifts in exchange for blessings. We'd like to use it as a forum for introducing our young Harvest girls to society." Genevieve explained causing the three Mikaelson's to share a look with each other

"You've got to be kidd-" Marjorie started but was interrupted when Elijah placed his hand on her shoulder

"So your coven attempted to destroy my family-- and you yourself placed a sleeping spell on my niece subjecting her to the tortures of her own mind all the while holding my siblings in unspeakable torment-- and you would like a party for the witches?" Elijah demanded with a scoff

"I made my amends with your brother. Why don't you think it over?" Genevieve nodded towards him before turning to Marjorie and giving her a smile and wave

Marjorie rolled her eyes and responded by flipping her off as Genevieve left. Klaus chuckled in amusement and pushed his daughter's hand down before turning to Elijah.

"Oh, don't be such a stiff, Elijah. The tourists love a good festival. Besides, what better way to cement the solidarity than a show of faith toward a one-time enemy?" Klaus smirked and Marjorie rolled her eyes

"A onetime enemy who tortured your daughter and almost killed your other child." Elijah reminded him

"And I haven't forgotten about that. For the time being Genevieve is useful to me, but the second she no longer is she is gone." Klaus acknowledged his brother

Of course he would never be able to truly work with Genevieve, she put the two people he cares about most in this world in danger. Marjorie and the baby. But keeping her close and working with her for the time being means keeping a close eye on her and making sure she doesn't step out of line.

"One would think you'd be a little more interested in attending to the needs of the mother of your child." Elijah spoke making Marjorie look down

Hayley had permanently moved out to the bayou with the rest of her pack, her room here at the compound was now empty. Marjorie didn't talk to her for the rest of the night after she blew up at the pregnant girl before the party.

As much as she hates to admit it, Marjorie misses her. Of course she had seen this coming from the second Hayley had found out that her pack was here. That's the whole reason she came to New Orleans anyway, was to find her family. But after spending all these months together, Hayley had become a constant in Marjorie's life.

Even though she's still frustrated with Hayley, she knows that she shouldn't stay upset with her forever. Marjorie will hold a grudge for a little longer before she'll get over it and everything will be ok again.

"So, she's the reason behind this oh-so-thoughtful renovation?" Klaus smirked and Marjorie grinned at the thought of Elijah trying to impress Hayley. "Elijah, the truth is, the mother of my child is werewolf royalty. She's far safer in the Bayou with her pack than she would ever be here with us. Don't worry. I'll bring her home before the birth. No child of mine will be born in a swamp."

"I can't even begin to list the number of safety concerns." Marjorie scrunched her nose at the bayou

She still hadn't gotten the sludge from her last trip to the bayou out of her shoes.

"Well well. Look what the cat dragged in." Klaus smirked looking towards the front entrance

Marjorie followed his gaze and couldn't help the smile that broke out on her face when she saw Killian standing there. He also shot her a smile when they locked eyes.

"Hi!" Marjorie greeted walking over to him

"Hi. Sleep well?" Killian asked as they hugged

"Like a baby. Ready to go?" Marjorie smiled holding onto his arm

"Yep." Killian nodded before looking over at the two men who were watching him with a calculated eye. "Klaus, Elijah, it's good to see you both. I like what you're doing with the place."

Marjorie chuckled softly as Killian looked around the room that looked like an absolute wreck at the moment.

"It's certainly a work in progress." Elijah hummed

"Still better than the bayou." Killian chuckled softly

"Not a fan?" Klaus asked, finding it slightly odd since all the other wolves seemed to prefer it

"Not since finding my entire pack slaughtered in it and being forced to run around as a wolf. I also hate mosquitoes." Killian replied bluntly with a hint of amusement at the end

Klaus and Elijah exchanged a look before nodding towards Killian.

"I am terribly sorry about your family." Elijah stated sincerely

"Yeah. Me too." Killian nodded in thanks

"Well we're going to go to lunch. Bye!" Marjorie waved before pulling Killian away making him chuckle

"Don't stay out too long!" Klaus warned and Elijah rolled his eyes grabbing his brothers shoulder

"What he meant was, have a nice time sweetheart." Elijah gave her a wink making Marjorie shoot him a smile before they left

Marjorie and Killian walked hand in hand through the streets of New Orleans, after eating lunch at a small restaurant that over looked the river. It was also known for having the best beignets in the city, which is a food Marjorie has become obsessed with since moving here.

The smile on her face was permanent, it seemed like anytime she was around the boy beside her she couldn't help but smile.

"So, things seemed pretty tense when I picked you up. Is everything alright?" Killian glanced over at the the small brunette beside him

"Just a small family dispute." Marjorie sighed. "Apparently my dad thought it would be a good idea to form an alliance with Genevieve, seemingly using her until she's no longer helpful."

"Damn. I hate that bitch." Killian scoffed shaking his head, still holding a grudge over their last meeting

"Tell me about it. I think he's having a mid life crisis, or maybe he's getting dementia or something from old age. Either way, he's being stupid!" Marjorie grunted and Killian had to hide his amusement in her words

He knew she was frustrated by the situation, as was he, but he couldn't help but take notice of the way her nose scrunched up when she was mad. Or how her hands wildly flew around as she got more fired up.

"Hopefully he knows what he's doing. I guess he has more experience with pesky witches than we give him credit for." Killian replied knowing that this isn't the first difficult witch the hybrid has dealt with, and it surly wouldn't be the last

"Let's hope so. I can't help but feel like it's all going to blow up in his face though. Unfortunately, Genevieve is smart and has had years watching from the other side to master the villain role." Marjorie added, looking out at the river thoughtfully

She can't help but think back to the visions she had, the ones about Papa Tunde, Genevieve, and Celeste. They came true and her family was hurt by them, out of the three Genevieve is the only one still alive.

It would be ignorant to believe that Genevieve would just be done with them, that she would be satisfied with the harm she had caused the Mikaelson family and not crave more.

Why be satisfied with a flesh wound when you can go for the kill shot?

"Hey." Killian spoke gaining Marjorie's attention. "If she tries to start trouble then we'll take care of her. That's it. She'll be dead before she gets the chance."

He seemed so confident, Marjorie noted. It made her feel slightly calmer, like if he wasn't worried then she shouldn't be either. But the pessimistic side of her knew it was too good to be true, nothing could ever be so easy.

"We'll see." Marjorie's lips lifted up slightly

"Enough of this serious talk, I couldn't help but notice how much you like flowers. I saw your painting last night, so I was thinking we could go on a tour of the garden district." Killian suggested and Marjorie immediately smiled

"I've been wanting to do one of those since I got here. But I didn't have the money when I first arrived and then everything happened with the witches and meeting my family and everything else that came after. Oh, this is going to be so fun!" Marjorie practically squealed in excitement

Killian chuckled as she eagerly grabbed his hand and pulled him aimlessly towards the garden district. It's safe to say that he made the right choice when booking the tour of the garden district if it meant seeing the excitement that she held in her eyes.

Surprise surprise, Genevieve got her way and Marjorie found herself standing next to her uncle at the end of the crowd. Her father opted out of joining them right away, saying he had something to take care of first.

The Feast of Blessings started with a parade, so Marjorie watched as the witches marched down the street. The three currently alive harvest girls Davina, Monique, and Abagail were hoisted in the air riding on thrones. The dramatics was enough to have Marjorie rolling her eyes in exasperation.

Each of the girls were dressed in a specific color, representing the specific element their part in the harvest stood for. Monique in floral earth tones, for earth; Davina in bright red-orange, for fire; and Abigail in white, for air.

"Could this be anymore dramatic?" Marjorie mumbled and Elijah nudged her gently

"Behave." Elijah teasingly scolded

The three girls were lowered down onto the large stage that was set up in the middle of the street. Genevieve joined the girls on stage before turning to address the crowd.

"Now, in accordance with the Fête des Bénédictions, the witches of New Orleans bless you all!" Genevieve held her hands out with a smile

The crowd began to cheer while Marjorie and Elijah remained unamused watching the scene in front of them. Genevieve stepped off the stage causing all the attention to fall onto the girls.

Monique steps forward first, and creates a mild earthquake that rumbles the ground below them. Then, Abigail steps forward and raises her arms to create very strong winds that blow around the crowd of tourists. Finally, Davina steps forward, turns around, and raises her palm to the sign behind her, which immediately ignites with fire and sets off dozens of fireworks, which makes the crowd cheer again.

"I stand corrected. It could be more dramatic." Marjorie commented looking up at the fireworks in the sky

Elijah chuckled shaking his head at his niece fondly, he was surprised she even agreed to come to the event in the first place. But he was happy that he got to spend this time with her, even if she wasn't necessarily enjoying herself.

"Would you like to wait for Davina with me?" Elijah asked and Marjorie shrugged

"Why not? It's not like I have anything better to do." Marjorie hummed linking arms with her uncle making him smile softly

Elijah and Marjorie were waiting near the entrance way for Davina to pass through as she came down from the stage.

"Davina." Elijah called out as she passed them

Davina turned around and took in the two Mikaelson's standing in front of her, giving them a hesitant smile.

"Elijah. Marjorie." Davina nodded

"Davina. Sorry you, you know died last time I saw you." Marjorie winced and Davina chuckled

"Thanks. I heard about what Genevieve did to you, I'm sorry." Davina apologized

"That's ok, I'll get my revenge soon enough." Marjorie smirked and Elijah rubbed her forehead

"Go for it. She's a bitch." Davina winked

"Davina." Genevieve walked up behind them making Davina straighten up. "Go join the rest of the girls."

"Fine." Davina huffed before glancing over at the Mikaelson's giving them a parting smile

"Sorry she bothered you." Genevieve clenched her jaw and Marjorie rolled her eyes

"Her company is way more welcome than others." Marjorie snipped making Elijah grab her arm gently

"Don't you have other responsibilities to tend to, Genevieve?" Elijah demanded

"Yes. I just wanted to thank you for all of this." Genevieve smiled tensely

"This isn't for you. You know as well as I that your people would never accept a truce unless we showed them some respect. So be it. Enjoy your party." Elijah waved her off

Genevieve obviously frustrated looked between the two before stalking off making Marjorie sigh in relief, glad she wasn't in their presence any longer. Marjorie was surprised to see Hayley walking up to them.

"Strange. I thought you'd be in the company of your colorful friends." Elijah smiled

"Oh. You asked for a representative for the werewolves, so take me or leave me." Hayley shrugged and Elijah just held his arm out to her, Hayley reluctantly taking it

Hayley looked over at Marjorie who stubbornly refused to meet her eyes making Hayley sigh.

"I know you're still pissed at me and I can't say I blame you, but I'm sorry and I hope you know how much you mean to me." Hayley told the young girl she now sees as a sister, someone she would do anything for

Marjorie looked up at her hopeful eyes before sighing.

"I'm still pissed but I guess I'm kinda stuck with you forever so I forgive you." Marjorie sighed making Hayley smiled

The pregnant wolf stepped forward and pulled Marjorie into a tight hug. The tribrid was surprised by how quickly she melted into the hug. There was something about a hug from Hayley that was just so calming, it was the same effect that Rebekah's hugs had as well. Something Marjorie had missed dearly.

"There's someone here for you." Hayley pulled back looking over Marjorie's shoulder she turned around and smiled at Killian as he walked up to them, Elijah and Hayley walked over to the side to give them some privacy.

"I didn't think I'd see you here." Marjorie confessed with a smile

"I wasn't planning on coming but then I figured I shouldn't leave you to suffer all alone." Killian joked wrapping his arms around her waist and Marjorie linked her arms behind his neck

"My hero." Marjorie sarcastically teased making Killian squeeze her sides causing her to jump and smack his chest. "Don't!"

"Are you ticklish?" Killian grinned

"No. No I am not." Marjorie denied but Killian's grin just got wider

"I think you are." Killian challenged

"If you want to keep your hands I suggest you don't try it." Marjorie threatened but Killian just laughed and shook his head fondly

"Don't worry. Your secrets safe with me." Killian winked before pulling her over towards Elijah and Hayley

"Killian, it's great to see you. Thank you for giving Marjorie such a good time earlier." Elijah shook Killian's hand

"Of course, I really enjoyed it too." Killian smiled before nodding towards Hayley. "Hayley."

"Hey Killian." Hayley greeted

"We should probably head inside." Marjorie grumbled noticing as more and more people entered the building where the after party was being held

Elijah nodded in agreement before offering Hayley his arm again which she took before leading her inside. Killian offered his to Marjorie who smiled and took it before they followed after the pair.

Everyone was gathered inside, at the front of the room there was a small stage where the harvest girls sat. Davina caught Marjorie's eye and shot her a smile that she returned. Marjorie had a small gift for Davina in her purse, it was a bracelet that she had spelled with a protection spell.

Being a powerful witch in New Orleans is no picnic, she wouldn't be surprised if her dad tried to get her to help them from time to time which can be dangerous and the other witches aren't trustworthy either.

Marjorie wanted Davina to have the best chance of survival because after all she's just a kid. Just like Marjorie.

"Welcome. As is our time-honored tradition, you are all welcome to deliver your offerings. It is our custom that no one should be turned away, no blessing be denied." Genevieve announced gaining everyone's attention

Marjorie watched as many of the guests lined up to bring their offerings to the girls. Hayley had told them that she was supposed to represent the wolves with a gift so she joined the guests lined up. Marjorie watched as Hayley smiled at Davina, intending on giving her the gift but frowned when one of the witches stepped forward and gestured for her to give the guest to Monique.

As more guests presented gifts Marjorie noticed that no one was giving any to Davina, Marjorie could almost feel the sadness and embarrassment flowing off the girl making frown. She looked over and saw Genevieve with a smug smirk on her face making Marjorie clench her jaw.

Realizing that Genevieve was the one behind making sure no one presented Davina with any gifts.

Killian noticed as a grin suddenly came across Marjorie's face making him look at her confused before suddenly a large gust of wind blew through the building knocking Genevieve off the stage making her scream as she hit the floor.

The guests gasped and two of the witches hurriedly helped her up from the ground. Genevieve growled as she fixed her dress back into place before she locked eyes with Marjorie, the teenager having a smug smirk on her face. Davina shot Marjorie a thankful smile that she waved off.

Feeling eyes on her Marjorie looked over at her uncle who was giving her an unimpressed look making her grin innocently causing Killian to cough, hiding his chuckle.

"That was sneaky." Killian whispered into her ear

"She deserved it." Marjorie shrugged

Despite Marjorie's attempt of cheering her up, which helped for a moment, Davina was near tears when more guests skipped over her and offered the other girls gifts. Finally having enough, Davina stormed off the stage.

"I'll be right back." Marjorie told Killian who nodded

Marjorie made her way through the crowd, following the way she saw Davina go. She spotted her just about to go back outside.

"Davina!" Marjorie shouted making the girl stop and turn to face her

"Marjorie." Davina wiped her cheeks

"Don't let that get to you, they're just jealous. Anyway, I've got the best gift so maybe it's for the best. None of the others could measure up." Marjorie grinned as she pulled a small box out of her purse before handing it to Davina

Davina smiled before opening the box, her smile grew wider as she took in the dainty bracelet. It was a sliver chain with a small circular pendant that had a light blue stone with little diamonds in it.

"That you do much! I love it!" Davina grinned, taking Marjorie by surprise when she lurched forward and hugged her tightly

"Oh! You're welcome, I'm glad you like it." Marjorie smiled as they pulled away. "It's not just a bracelet, I spelled it with a protection spell. So if I were you I'd never take it off. I think you know how dangerous it is being a witch in this city."

Davina looked down at the bracelet and immediately took it out of its box and clipped it on before giving Marjorie a smile.

"Thank you." Davina nodded thankfully

"Of course. I'm going to get back in there, you have a visitor." Marjorie nodded behind Davina, who turned around to see Josh standing there

Marjorie turned around and left the two to reunite and headed back inside to the party. She reappeared by Killian's side, who now was nursing a drink from the bar.

"You know, I turned 21 when I was stuck as a wolf. The only reason I knew my birthday had passed was because Eve kept track and had me a cake when we turned back that next full moon. This is my first drink, well my first legal one." Killian told Marjorie who hummed

"That makes you jail bait, I'm only 17." Marjorie smirked making Killian choke on his drink

"You're 17?" Killian coughed

"Don't worry, I'll be 18 in 2 weeks." Marjorie laughed making Killian sigh in relief

"You just about gave me a heart attack, I wouldn't blame Klaus if he wanted to kill me now." Killian shook his head with a small smile

"So dramatic." Marjorie shook her head teasingly

Before Killian could respond, Marjorie heard her dad's voice making her look back towards the front where Klaus stood with Davina and Josh.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. We are gathered here today to pay homage to our beloved witches, but one very special witch has been utterly ignored. That seems a little unfair to me." Klaus goes to hand Davina a small box as his offering

Davina scrunched her face up and looked at the box in Klaus' hand before scoffing and shaking her head.

"No. I don't want your gift." Davina refused making Klaus clench his jaw while Marjorie snorted, covering her mouth while Killian took a large gulp of his drink

"I understand why you would reject me, given our past. In truth, many of us here today have been wronged in the conflict which my brother's treaty ended. Your friend Josh was involved in a plot to kill me. It would be well within my right to execute him here and now. But, in the spirit of solidarity, and for your favor, Davina, I hereby pardon him. Josh from this day forward, you have nothing to fear from me. Please." Klaus successfully hands Davina the box before walking away

Marjorie turned back towards Killian whose glass was now empty.

"Want another?" Marjorie raised her brow

"Is that even a question? Do you want a drink? I think they have some juice boxes." Killian smirked making Marjorie smack his arm. "I'm just kidding! But seriously, they have punch."

"I will take some punch." Marjorie rolled her eyes and Killian kissed her cheek before walking towards the bar

Marjorie spotted her dad standing next to Hayley and moved towards them but stopped when suddenly, a large group of drummers marched into the party.

"Happy Fête des Bénédictions. We have a message for all of you from Marcel Gerard." The lead drummer spoke

Marjorie furrowed her brows in confusion, a sudden bad feeling making her palms start to sweat. All of the drummers take out straight razors and Marjorie's eyes widened as they sliced their wrists open, bleeding all over the floor.

"Oh shit." Marjorie muttered looking around noticing as the vampires in the room start becoming ansty at the sight and smell of blood

"Control yourselves. This is a vulgar trick." Elijah stepped forward and shouts to the crowd, trying to get control of the vampires. "We do not violate our agreement."

The lights suddenly go out and screams emerge from the crowd, Marjorie panicked internally as chaos erupted. People bumped and shoved into her making Marjorie bounce back and forth between them trying to keep her balance.

The sudden feeling of fangs digging into her neck made Marjorie scream before she used her magic to snap the vampires neck making him fall to the ground.

"Marjorie!" Four different voices called out after hearing her scream

Arms wrapped around her tightly and pulled her to the ground, Marjorie recognized the smell of Killian's cologne as he hovered over her protectively.

The lights switch back on making Marjorie wince as her the light hurt her eyes. She looked around seeing dozen of dead/injured people lying on the ground. Her gaze was then drawn to the wall where "THERE WILL BE NO PEACE" written in blood.

"Hey! You alright? Let me see." Killian pulled her to her feet and tilted her head looking at the bite mark on her neck

"I'm fine." Marjorie waved him off but Killian just scoffed, grabbing a fabric napkin and holding it tightly onto her neck

"You're fucking bleeding, that's not fine!" Killian exclaimed in frustration

"Marjorie!" Klaus stressed as he appeared in front of her with Elijah and Hayley beside him, all three of them with worried expressions on their faces

"I'm fine." Marjorie waved them off as Killian pulled the napkin away from her neck, happy to find that the bleeding was slowing down

Klaus bit into his wrist and held it out to Marjorie who sighed but accepted, knowing her dad wouldn't let her refuse.

"Let's get you home." Elijah told Marjorie who nodded

"I think I could use a shower." Marjorie sighed feeling the stickiness of blood on her neck and chest

Killian grabbed Marjorie's hand and pulled her with him as they left the party.

Immediately upon returning back to the compound Marjorie got straight into the shower. Both Killian and Hayley returned out to the bayou for the night. Elijah had disappeared, presumably to confront Marcel who they believed to be responsible for the incident. Then Klaus had also left after helping Marjorie upstairs.

After scalding her skin off in the hot shower Marjorie got out and dried off before changing into a pair of pajamas. The bite mark on her neck had healed but her head ached, probably from the stress of the day.

When she walked back into her bedroom she found Klaus sitting out on her balcony. He was looking mindlessly out into the city. Marjorie walked out and sat next to him, silently.

"You ok?" Klaus asked quietly

"Yeah. Your blood healed me." Marjorie responded

"Good. Good." Klaus sighed

"Are you ok?" Marjorie asked, seeing how tense her dad looked in that moment

"I fear I've pushed your uncle away, for good this time." Klaus answered making Marjorie frown

"What? Why?" Marjorie asked, she couldn't imagine her uncle turning his back on her father not after everything they've been through

"I have an alliance with the wolves. It started when I met Cary and saw the ring he wore around his neck, the ring that belonged to my mother a thousand years ago. Cary is a direct descendant of my biological father and I believe that this ring was given to him as a way to free him from the werewolf curse." Klaus explained

"So he wouldn't have to turn every full moon." Marjorie caught on and Klaus nodded

"Yes. I think that the ring was used as a moonlight ring, to protect him from the curse. I explained it all to Jackson and he was convinced by the idea of never being forced to turn again or risk losing control. That's why I needed Genevieve, so she could spell the rings for the wolves." Klaus looked over at Marjorie who looked back at him

"I understand why you want to make these rings and I get the attraction, but why not ask me to do the spell? Why go out on a whim and trust Genevieve?" Marjorie furrowed her brows

"Because I didn't want you involved. I'm going behind Elijah's back and I know how much you love him, I didn't want to put you in that position where you had to sneak around behind his back. I've been doing it for a thousand years, I'm used to it. But you're not." Klaus sighed rubbing his forehead in frustration

"I love you both dad, you could've came to me and we could've found a way to talk to Elijah about it together. You're not trying to destroy his treaty, you're just trying to help your people. He would've understood if you would've just told him instead of sneaking around." Marjorie frowned, not understanding why everything was always so difficult when it came to her father and uncle

"There will never truly be peace, little pearl. If tonight means anything it's that there will always be fighting and violence between the factions. By aligning with the wolves I am securing their loyalty, they will protect you and the baby. That's why I do all of this, to make sure that you will be safe." Klaus stated as he stood up

"I know. I know, dad." Marjorie sighed as she stood up to face him. "Tensions are high, just give him some time to clear his head. But just remember, no matter how many wolves, vampires, or witches you have on your side Elijah has been the one who has always been by your side. He's been your strength, don't let him slip away."

Klaus looked at his daughter in front of him, 8 months she's been a part of his life and the changes he has seen in her have shocked him. She went from being that shy and nervous girl to being wise and confident, and if he's had anything to do with helping her develop into the woman that she is in front of him then his life has been successful.

"You're smarter than you know." Klaus told her before cupping her cheeks. "You give me strength too, little pearl."

Marjorie smiled as her dad kissed her forehead before pulling away and guiding her back into her bedroom.

"Why don't you get some rest? It's been a long day." Klaus remarked and Marjorie nodded feeling her eyes burn from tiredness

"Goodnight, dad." Marjorie smiled softly as she climbed into bed

"Goodnight." Klaus replied before turning her fan on and her lights of before leaving the room closing the door behind him

Marjorie curled up under her covers, she hadn't realized how tired she truly was until she laid down. But as she relaxed into her sheets, Marjorie was unaware of what was coming for her.

Of the danger that she would be in. Because the ancestors have spoken, Monique Deveraux heard their demands and forwarded them on to Genevieve.

In order for Genevieve to remain alive they asked for one thing in return, that the witches kill Marjorie Pearl Mikaelson.

Authors Note:
Well....it looks like Marjorie's troubles are far from over.
I think I've said it before but I will confirm it now, the witches are NOT going to try to kill the baby they are going to try to kill Marjorie instead.
I have a plan for how I want it all to go and I am really excited about it!
Sorry for the late update, I was on spring break and then when I got back I was incredibly lazy lol and I had hardly no motivation and any that I had was put towards getting my school work done.
