I woke up to sun on my face. I don't want to move. But I have to.
Opening my eyes I look around then remember this isn't my room. I sit up slowly and look beside me.
Red eyes meet mine.
"How long have you been watching me?"
"The minute you woke up."
"I need to go check on my people. I'll see you at breakfast?"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world."
I kiss his cheek but he wasn't having it. His lips claim mine and I roll my eyes.
"That's a kiss."
I chuckle and get off the bed.
"I'm sore."
"That means I was good."
I throw a pillow at him.
"Jerk." I pull my clothes on and left the room.
I shower and change before heading to the pack house. Maddy greet me still half asleep. I bring her back to her room and tuck her in.
I greet Janice and take baby Chris before making sure everyone else was OK. I adore this little boy.
I head back to the alpha house so Janice could get some work done.
I change my shoes for fuzzy slippers and head to breakfast.
"Good morning."
"Good morning dear. Oh a baby!"
She was out her seat and around the table before I could blink.
"Good morning everyone."
"Alpha Keiran." I roll my eyes and sit beside Lucius.
"Amica Mea."
"Aren't you going to tell me what that means?"
"No."
"Then you can forget about sleeping with me again."
"Come on that's not fair!"
"Oh its fair."
"Just search it up." Why didn't I think of that?
"You're still a jerk."
A throat clear and we look away from each other.
"So are you two..."
"Something like that."
"I can start planning the wedding."
"Mom don't get ahead of yourself."
"A woman can dream, no?"
"Just dream a little less."
Elizabeth pout and stab her food. Reginald scoot away from her with a nervous laugh.
It's funny seeing him scared of his mate.
