Summary → Your bestfriend takes you on a spontaneous date on valentines because you're both free.

"Where are we goin'?" You asked with a small whine, looking around your unfamiliar surroundings as your best friend drove down the dirt road. The two of you had been driving for what felt like forever, Arvin refusing to let slip even the tiniest of details about where your eventual destination would be.
You hadn't even been anywhere that he was taking you anywhere for valentine's day, but he showed up at your door unexpectedly claiming that you just had to come with him.
"Do you trust me, darlin'?" He mumbled, catching your eye. You nodded your head, eyeing him suspiciously. "Need you to close your eyes."
You did as he asked, and thankfully it didn't take long. Within minutes the car was coming to a stop and you could hear Arvin shifting slightly in his seat, most likely turning to face you.
"Here we are," he said, motioning to the sea of cars and the large projector screen in front of them.
"Q drive in?" You asked. From that reaction Arvin couldn't decide if you were happy or angry. He turned to you with wide eyes, looking a bit like a confused puppy. You thought it was adorable.
"Y-yeah, is that okay?" He sounded so quiet and unsure and it warmed your heart that he cared so much about your enjoyment.
You nodded your head, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek that had a blush rising to the tips of his ears.
" 's perfect, Arvy." He grinned from ear to ear, his blush becoming an even deeper shade of red. You shook your head, shuffling closer to him, Resting your head on his shoulder comfortably while the two of you waited for the movie to begin. He wrapped his arm around your waist, allowing you to move in closer to him, while gently rubbing circles on your hip over your dress.
Around halfway through the movie arvin noticed you struggling to keep your head up. He initially laughed at how cute it was, before inviting you into his arms so you'd be more comfortable, and would stop hurting your neck trying to keep your head up.
"Arvy?" you asked tiredly. He hummed, taking the cigarette from between his lips. "Is this the part of the movie where I confess my undying love for you?" You felt his chest vibrate underneath your head as he chuckled. A small smile worked its way onto your face, nuzzling deeper into his warmth.
"I wouldn't say no, darlin'."
