It was Anne's 23rd Birthday in LA, Marcy was on the plane and really wanted to see Anne, it's been a long time since they've seen each other. Marcy has been missing Anne, the last time they saw each other, was a few months ago.
Marcy got a gift for Anne, she smiles at it and stroked the frog on it. "Anne... I miss you... I hope your doing okay... But I'm coming... And I have something to ask you..." Marcy said. Marcy looks out the window, admiring the sun set.
The rays hit Marcy skin, she then closed her eyes and started thinking about Anne, her face almost turned red. Marcy sighed and knew that it was going to take some time, but she was surely prepared for what is to come.
Marcy then fell asleep on the plane, everyone was asleep, snores and peacefulness was around the room. Marcy looked and saw her two friends, Luz and Amity were sleeping soundly together. Those two looked cool together.
Marcy was surprised that Amity was a witch, but she didn't mind, if it made Luz happy, then it made her happy to. Marcy wishes she could find someone to sleep next to, Marcy then thought about it and figured... If Anne was available...
Marcy knew it was crazy, but... Maybe Anne would like to go on a date for her birthday. Marcy smiles at the thought, she never really thought about dating anyone, but Anne felt like the one. Anne was so brave, selflessness, and honestly very beautiful.
Marcy always thought about Anne, seeing her as an adult, Anne looked like a major hotty now, her long hair, her beautiful eyes and voice, the way she looked... Anne was now hot. Marcy sighed, maybe she wouldn't mind to ask Anne out on a date.
Marcy then fell asleep and waited for the morning...
A few hours later...
Marcy eventually woke up, she saw she was in a dark void-like place, she looked around, their was nothing around her, it was just... Black. "What the?" Marcy said as she stood up. Marcy looked down and saw she was a teenager again.
Marcy was wearing her old Amphibia outfit, with her crossbow in her arm. "What the heck? What is this place? Where am I?" Marcy asked as she searched the entire area she was in. Marcy walked around the endless void, wondering how she ended up here.
Marcy then remembered when she fell asleep on the plane, closing her eyes, resting herself. "Oh... I'm dreaming." Marcy said in relief. Marcy then saw this wasn't a dream. "Okay!" Who ever is here... Show yourself!" Marcy demanded.
Marcy heard a giggle, sounding robotic and disoriented, it sounded like her... But not her at the same time. The voice then spoke to her in their evil, mechanical voice. "We've been waiting for you, Marcy Wu... It's been a long time..." The voice said in an echo.
Marcy raised an eyebrow in confusion. It's been a long time? She didn't know what to think of it? "What? Who are you? What do you want from me!?" Marcy shouted. The voice giggled, giving Marcy that answer, the mysterious entity revealed themselves... Which sent Marcy into a state of shock and fear.
"No... It's can't be..." Marcy said in fear while stepping back. The entity revealed themselves to Marcy. "Why hello there." Darcy said. Marcy couldn't believe her eyes, Darcy? The Core? How? It was impossible, Anne destroyed The Core 10 years ago! But how is this possible?
"No! It can't be you! You're history! How is this possible?" Marcy asked while still being scared of seeing her darker half. Darcy smiles, a giggle escaped her mouth. "Oh, Marcy... Not going to say hi back? So rude... You should learn to greet old friends like this... But... Maybe this isn't how you pictured things." Darcy said with an evil grin on her face.
Marcy was confused, Anne destroyed The Core, it's gone, Aldrich is gone! How is this even possible? "How? How are you still alive? Anne destroyed you! You shouldn't exist anymore! How is this even possible?" Marcy asked.
Darcy smiles, a slight chuck escaped her mouth, Darcy approached Marcy and held both her hands. "Oh, Marcy... You didn't think we had a backup plan in case something like this would happen... That wouldn't be part of our character after all... Let's explain." Darcy said as she set the scene to the day of their demise.
"You see, before Anne destroyed us and Amphibia's Moon, when you were still under our control, we put a security protocol deep in your mind... That protocol would allow us to transfer our hivemind into your brain, in case we were destroyed by your precious Anne." Darcy explained.
"The protocol was safe and sound in you're subconscious, allowing us to live on... We've been waiting patiently for this moment to arrive, although it took awhile... But now we are back... And we're back with Revenge against Earth, Amphibia... And your precious Anne Boonchuy..." Darcy said with a small giggle.
Marcy was shocked and surprised. "But... What about me?" Marcy asked. Darcy looked at Marcy and moved to her left, wrapping her arms around the back of her neck and told her. "You're our host, Marcy... You and us will rule The Multiverse for all eternity... Not even Anne can stop us now..." Darcy said.
Marcy was shocked and horrified, The Core was alive the entire time? And Anne scarified herself... For nothing? No! That cannot be true, she save Amphibia and everyone on it, Anne didn't die for nothing... So gave her life for her friends and loved ones... But The Core survived... And wants vengeance...
Darcy smiles, she then walked a few steps forward and turns back towards Marcy. "Don't worry, Marcy... We won't hurt you... We just have some unfinished business with your girlfriend...." Darcy said while trying to tease her.
Marcy's face turned red in embarrassment, Darcy smiles, knowing that got her. "Well, Marcy... With all that being said, we'll see you... On the other side..." Darcy said as she vanished into thin air. Marcy woke up, she then saw everyone else were asleep, except for a few people.
"That was just a dream... Nothing else..." Marcy said as she closed her eyes and then was about to fall asleep. "The Core is gone..." Marcy said with a smile. Marcy fell back to sleep again, thinking The Core was gone and what she saw was just a dream.
But little does she know she was mistaken... What she saw as real... The Core is alive... Wanting vengeance...
The Next Day...
The next day arrived, the sun rose over the horizon of LA, the plane lands at the airport. Marcy got off her plane and walked to the exited. Marcy checked her phone, checking on something until she saw Sasha. "Sasha!" Marcy shouted as she waved to her friend.
Sasha was on her phone at first, but when she raised her head, her eyes caught Marcy, she smiles. "Marcy!" Sasha shouted with a bright smile. Marcy sprints towards Sasha, trying to give her a big hug, but she then tripped and fell.
Marcy picked herself back up, while now having stains. "I'm good." Marcy said. She brushed herself off and gave Sasha a proper hug. "Marcy... I missed you..." Sasha said. Marcy smiles and spoke. "I missed you too, Sasha..." Marcy said.
Marcy put her bag and present for Anne on the backseat, Marcy got into the car with Sasha and drove to Anne's knew workspace, The Aquarium of The Pacific. Marcy and Sasha talked about what happened to them after Marcy moved.
Marcy was happy to hear that even after Anne and Sasha fell into new friend groups in highschool, they still hung out a lot. They talked about their new jobs and what Anne has been up to. Marcy and Sasha sat in silence, that's until Sasha saw Marcy's facial expression.
She raised an eyebrow in confusion, Marcy looked sad and depressed. "Marcy? Are you okay?" Sasha asked. Marcy changed her expression and looked at Sasha. "Yeah! I'm fine... I'm just... Thinking of something..." Marcy said.
Sasha understood, but was concerned about what it was. "Marcy? Do you... Want to... Talk about it?" Sasha asked. Marcy was hesitant about what to say, about The Core still being alive, she didn't know what to say, but she wanted to be honest.
Marcy sighed and spoke. "Sasha... I had a strange dream... I was... A teenager again... In this... Dark void... And then... I... I..." Marcy said as she tried to spit it out. Sasha smiled, she then held Marcy's hand. "Mars... Whatever it is, you can be honest with us." Sasha said.
Marcy smiles and nods her head. "So? What is it?" Sasha asked. Marcy took a deep breath and spited it out. "Sasha... I saw The Core..." Marcy said. Sasha's eyes widen in shock. "What?" Sasha said in shock. Marcy nods her head and continued.
"I saw The Core... They told me how they survived... They want Revenge on us... I don't know what to do now." Marcy said. Sasha smiles and held her hand. "Marcy... Whatever it is... Me, You, and Anne will face it together... Just like how we handled things in Amphibia." Sasha said.
Marcy sighed, not knowing how to deal with this. "I don't know if we can defeat them this time... Their in me... The Core is apart of me... What do we do now?" Marcy asked. Sasha focused on driving, but she gave Marcy some advice.
"We'll get The Core out of you... Go thing we know people who can do it... Let's just wait..." Sasha said. Marcy nods her head in agreement, she just needed to be patient. Marcy and Sasha arrived at The Aquarium, where Anne now worked.
Marcy and Sasha entered with their gifts for Anne, they entered and saw an exhibit dedicated to Amphibia, Marcy and Sasha went upstairs and entered, Marcy eyed Anne, seeing her friend looking so beautiful in her work outfit.
Anne looked so hot and beautiful, Marcy's face turned red, her heart pounded like a drum. Sasha noticed Marcy's expression and smiled. "Marcy? Do you anything to say?" Sasha asked. Marcy looked at Sasha, who had a sly smile on her face.
Marcy took Sasha out if the room and took a deep breath, Sasha smiles, knowing what has transpired. "Well, Marcy... Looks like you have the hots for Anne..." Sasha said. Marcy blushed in embarrassment, she looked like a tomato.
"I do... I don't know how she'll feel... Maybe it will ruin our relationship? Or maybe she doesn't want to see me again?" Marcy said while gaining tears in her eyes. Sasha hugged her and spoke. "Marcy... Let's just give her a happy birthday today... Maybe she'll say yes..." Sasha said.
Marcy nods her head in agreement, she sits up and they head into the exhibit. Anne closed the glass door to her frog's cage. Anne turns her head to see her two friends, standing in the doorway. Tears appeared in Anne's eyes as she approached them and hugged them.
They head out and celebrate Anne's birthday. They got drinks and talked about their times apart and together with each other, they took a photo together. Anne, Marcy, and Sasha sat together and watched the sun set over the horizon.
Sasha went to go use the restroom, leaving Anne and Marcy alone together. Marcy then rested her head on Anne's shoulder, Anne looked down at Marcy. "Marcy... I'm glad that me and you can be together again... I missed you." Anne said as she hugs Marcy.
Marcy's face turns red, she smiles. "I missed you too, Anne." Marcy said in a smooth voice as she hugs Anne back. Anne and Marcy watch the sun set, Marcy then holds Anne's hand, not wanting to let the one she loves go again.
Anne saw Marcy was holding her hand, she smiles, she finds it cute... Marcy honestly was the cutest person she's known. Marcy was hesitant, but wanted to ask. "Anne?" Marcy said. Anne turns her head towards Marcy and smiled.
"Yeah? Mar-Mar?" Anne said. Marcy looked down, but she spoke. "Anne... Since I'm here in LA for awhile... Can I... Can I come stay with you for awhile?" Marcy asked. Anne's eyes widen in shock, she frowns and smiled.
"Sure, Marcy... I don't really have a guest bedroom... So, you don't mind sleeping with me for that long?" Anne asked with a nervous smile. Marcy blushes in embarrassment, she smiles and held Anne's hand. "I don't mind... Besides, I just want to cuddle you." Marcy said in a baby voice.
Anne blushes, but smiles. The two watched the sun set together, with Sasha coming back and watching it with them. Anne, Marcy, and Sasha watched the sun set, until they get a phone call. "Who could that be?" Anne asked.
She took out her phone and saw it was Terri. "Terri?" Anne said in shock. Marcy and Sasha looked, Anne picked it up. "Hello?" Anne said while still being confused. "Hey, Anne! It's been awhile... Listen, I have a surprise for you and your friends." Terri said.
"Wow! No way! What is it?" Anne asked. Terri smiles. "Well, come by the lab tomorrow and I'll show you." Terri said. "Okay... Sounds good..." Anne said. "Okay! I'll see you three tomorrow! Bye!" Terri said as she hang up.
Anne was confused on what Terri meant by a surprise for the three of them? Only time will tell, after awhile, Sasha went home and Marcy went with Anne back to her house. After they arrived, Marcy was amazed that Anne's house was similar to her old house.
"Wow, Anne! You're house kinda looks like... My old house..." Marcy said. Anne smiles, walking beside Marcy. "Yeah! It reminded me of you, Marbles." Anne said. Marcy blushes in embarrassment, she and Anne walked into the house and saw the interior was the same as Anne's old house.
Marcy walked in as she and Anne went upstairs, Anne opened the bedroom door and Marcy was shocked, Anne's room was beautiful. Anne smiles, her crush was impressed, she grabbed Marcy's hand and she went to the bathroom.
Anne and Marcy got into their pajamas and climbed into bed. Anne and Marcy covered up, laying beside each other. Anne's hair was down, she looked way more beautiful then she was before. Anne laid next to Marcy, staring at her with a bright smile on her face.
Marcy looked at Anne, feeling safer with her by her side. Marcy moves close to Anne and wrapped her arms around her neck, Anne smiles and wraps her arms around Marcy's waist. "Aww... Marcy... You don't want to be with out me?" Anne asked in a baby voice.
Marcy blushes in embarrassment, she nuzzles in Anne's neck. Anne smiles and hold her tightly, Anne nuzzles in Marcy's hair. "Marcy, I always loved your hair style, now you look very beautiful." Anne said which made Marcy blush.
Marcy calmed down, know that Anne knows of her secret crush on her. Marcy hesitated, she was nervous to do this, but she couldn't resist. Marcy goes up to Anne and look at her, she cupped her cheeks and spoke. "Anne... Can I... Kiss you?" Marcy nervously asked.
Anne smiles, a blush and tears streamed down her face, she nods her head. Marcy hesitated, but she leans in and kisses Anne on the lips. Anne frowns and kissed back, the two held the kiss for a few minutes before they pulled back and stared at each other.
Marcy blushes in embarrassment that she just did that, but Anne smiles and hugs her. "Marcy... I liked that..." Anne said. Marcy blushes in embarrassment, but she was confused. "W-What?" Marcy said in shock and surprise.
Anne nuzzled in Marcy's hair, feeling the warmth and softness. "Marcy... Maybe tomorrow... When we're done at the lab with Terri..." Anne said as she was sacred to say it. Anne then gained the courage and spited it out.
"Would you like to go on a date with me, Marcy Wu?" Anne asked with a nervous blush on her face. Marcy's eyes widen in shock, her heart rate speeded up to the max level, Marcy had butterflies inside her tummy and almost had sweat come out.
Marcy calmed down and spoke. "Anne... I would love that." Marcy said with a bright smile. Anne's eyes widen, Marcy had accepted her offer. Anne breaks the hug Anne cupped Marcy's cheeks, tearfully smiling. "R-Really?" Anne asked.
Marcy smiles and nods her head. "Yeah! I actually had feelings for you, Anne... For a long time now... I wanted to ask you today... But I was too embarrassed..." Marcy said. Anne smiles and hugs her. "Oh, Marcy... That's so sweet..." Anne said.
Marcy smiles, she hugs back. Anne and Marcy then broke the hug and kissed again and pulled back. Anne and Marcy then turn the lights off, but before they closed their eyes, Marcy spoke again. "Anne?" Marcy said. "Yeah?" Anne said while looking down at Marcy.
Marcy was hesitant, but she asked anyways. "What does this make us?" Marcy asked. The question was ligament, Anne felt like she and Marcy have been friends forever, it felt like they've known each other before they were even born.
Anne honestly loved being with Marcy, she felt like she can tell Marcy everything. Anne felt like what just happened a few moments ago, meant that they were always made for each other. It felt a little scary, but Anne was starting to realize it might have been the best thing that has ever happened to her.
Anne wouldn't change this for anything else in the world. Anne then came to the conclusion, she lets out a heavy sigh and kissed the top of Marcy's forehead. "I've been afraid of a lot of things in my life, Marcy... And I will admit that this is a little scary... But I wouldn't change it for anything else.... So!" Anne said.
"So?" Marcy asked as she looked up at Anne. Anne smiles and looks at her. "Marcy Wu... I Love You... I Love You So Much... Will you be my awesome calamity girlfriend?" Anne asked. Marcy tears up in shock and surprise.
Marcy smiles and hugs Anne tightly, burning her face in Anne's hair. "Yes, Anne! Yes!" Marcy said without hesitation. Anne smiles, now knowing she has a girlfriend now. Marcy was in a state of happiness and enjoyment, she couldn't get any happier.
Anne Boonchuy, her first childhood friend, the girl she knew before they met Sasha, her hero, her savior, her hot thai spice, the blue calamity goddess, was her official girlfriend. Marcy's life got more better, but she should really tell Anne about The Core's survival.
Marcy though it would be best to tell her in the morning, Anne and Marcy got comfortable in Anne's bed. "Goodnight, Marcy. I Love You." Anne said as she kisses Marcy's forehead. "Goodnight, Anne. I Love You Too." Marcy said as she kisses Anne's cheek.
Anne and Marcy fell asleep in each other's arms, waiting patiently for what tomorrow might bring them. The Core and All The Minds watched from Marcy's perspective, knowing what they must do. "Soon, Marcy... You'll be ours again... And you're girlfriend will rule beside you..." The Core said in a dark tone.
Revenge is coming... And it won't be so friendly... It's not over...
