"Mark, what do you think about the concept?" The voice of one of his managers rung in his ear making him quickly turn off his phone and place it back into his pocket.
"Hu—yeah...sounds good" Mark said quickly, earning a look from Haechan and Renjun. Mark raised an eyebrow at him as his manager moved on to discussing the possible song titles for the upcoming album. Haechan simply shook his head, turning away from Mark and giving Renjun a look.
Mark furrowed his brows at their weird glances, unlocking his phone again to see that the chat with his old best friend was now lost again in the sea of DM requests that seemed to update every ten seconds. Mark sighed realising that he didn't have the time to go fishing for her chat again like he did on the drive to the agency this morning. He simply turned off his phone, zoning back into the conference meeting with his managers about the upcoming album.
"Yo, what was that look for?" Mark asked, waiting for Haechan who usually took all the time in the world to leave any room that he was in
"What?" Haechan asked with confusion before his mouth formed an 'o' shape in realisation
"Just thought you'd be the one against posting feet pics" Haechan shrugged simply and Mark let out a laugh
"What?" He asked with oblivion while Haechan remained with a serious expression
"The concept photo...with like our feet and stuff" he explained, not giving much helpful info but enough for Mark to realise that he agreed to show his feet to over a few million people in the world.
Mark trudged back behind Haechan to another meeting regarding the 127 unity tour while the rest of the dream members bid him a short goodbye. For Haechan and Mark however, getting a break was a rare occurrence.
His brain replayed the earlier texts from Yoora, making him realise that people his age were all going through the same experience—no matter what path in life they took. Whether someone was an idol with the nation's eyes on them at all times or a regular college student working at a café, at the end of the day everyone was always tired and exhausted.
Atleast Yoora has a puppy...and Mark...well—
"Are you coming or not seagull brows? My arm's gonna fall off!" Haechan whined, holding the door open for Mark who had slowed down his steps.

And like Yoora had mentioned to Mark, the vet appointment for Freddie was just as nerve wracking as she predicted. She paced around the brightly coloured yellow halls of the office, waiting for her poor pup to be let out.
She realised the pacing back and forth only seemed to give the other pet owners a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere, so she settled on taking a seat by the reception and waiting to hear more from the vet, taking out her phone to pass the time.
