The island party was in full swing, but Rafe and Myra stayed away. They left the small backroom that they had previously been standing in, both happily unknowing as to what was about to come. Myra walked out first, the round black plastic tray tucked firmly underneath her right arm once more. She headed over towards the bar to drop it off and to tell the bartender that she needed a quick break. It was somewhat of a lie but still she made sure to be extra sweet about it, batting her long eyelashes towards the older boy behind the bar. He so easily agreed, waving her off. Myra thanked him just as sweetly, dropping the tray on top of the bar before she rushed off through the crowd of dressed up kooks. Rafe walked out after her, his shoulders pushed back and his chin tilted up. He walked calmly through all the party guests, like he owned the world.

The two of them agreed to meet up by the bathrooms in the back of the island club, a place that they hoped wouldn't be too busy. Myra was stood with her back leaned against the wooden fence of the back porch of the building, her hands nervously fiddling with the hem of her black dress. Rafe had that effect on her, in a mostly good way, whilst the other kooks around here managed to make her just as nervous but in a uneasy and uncomfortable kind of way. She gazed around, soon seeing Rafe walking over towards her. His nice brown leather shoes clicked ever so slightly against the wooden deck. He looked as handsome as always, his light linen suit being tailored to him and his shirt being all nice and crispy white.

"There you are, hurry up" Myra urged, still gazing around. A faint laugh slipped past Rafe's lips as she grabbed a hold of him, leading him towards the bathroom. "Someone's in a hurry" he spoke, a smirk finding its way onto his lips. Myra gazed up at him, seeing the way it spread so quickly and easily. Rafe was staring right down at her and she knew that he wasn't done with whatever he wanted to convey. "A hurry to get me all to yourself?" he asked, seemingly intrigued as he leaned down a little and raised his eyebrows, "just you and me in a bathroom all alone..."

He was teasing her, just as he often did. He seemed to enjoy watching her get all flustered. "Rafe, get your dirty mind in control please" Myra spoke as she felt her cheeks flush with a familiar sense of warmth, "and come on, hurry up". Myra pulled a little harder on Rafe's arm and he followed her willingly, laughing as he did so. Myra managed to pull him into the small bathroom before she let go, his chuckle still ringing out into the humid summer air. Rafe lost his footing slightly, stumbling backwards a few steps before he managed to lean his back against the sink. His hands grabbed onto the cold porcelain as he steadied himself. He then looked at Myra, his arms scanning over her pretty face and small frame. "You look nice tonight" he hummed, still keeping his eyes on her. Myra mumbled something as she drew in closer towards Rafe, faintly nodding her head. He wasn't sure what she was saying but he managed to catch a small thank you from her lips.

"You look like a real kook girl" Rafe whispered in Myra's ear as she got closer, sending shivers down her spine. His bottom lip almost nibbled against her ear lobe. She pulled back, needing to keep herself unattached from him as much as possible. "Sounds like a real nightmare" she teased back, once more making Rafe laugh. Myra then grabbed his arm, the one with the nasty burn upon his skin. A burn that had been caused by Barry. A burn that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it happened. Rafe had felt it sting, so he had put some ice on it for a while. He had then proceeded to ignore the wound like it wasn't there. Just feeling it gave him anxiety, he couldn't bare to look at it. He just wanted it to go away. He wanted all the bad things in his head to just go away.

"What happened between you and Barry?" Myra asked carefully as she turned the tap water on, sticking her index finger into the water to make sure that it wasn't too hot or cold. "It's not a big deal" Rafe assured her as he tried to shrug it off, but Myra couldn't help but to feel that he wasn't being genuine in his statement. "Why did he do this to you?" Myra asked once more, pushing it a little further. "It doesn't matter, it's nothing important" Rafe repeated himself, standing his ground. He then watched as Myra sighed, soaking a paper towel and gently dabbing the wound clean. It stung Rafe's skin which made him flinch slightly, but at least it wasn't as bad as how it felt when he got the wound in the first place. "I don't believe that" Myra urged, looking Rafe straight in the eye. It was now his turn to sigh. "Did you two get into a fight or something?" Myra kept on pushing when Rafe didn't answer. Another sigh left his lips. "No" he then muttered. "No?" Myra asked, her eyes darting over him and his wound as she continued to clean the patch of burned skin. "No, I already told you... it was more of an argument" Rafe clarified, "just a stupid argument"

"About- uhm, you know what?"

Myra was being unclear Rafe thought, and fuck his skin hurt so bad underneath her touch. She was being kind and taking her time to clean it up for him, yet it still hurt more than he liked to admit. But she looked pretty in the dim light of the bathroom, his eyes got stuck on her as he looked up from his wound. There was something about her that was so unlike anything he had ever seen or experienced before, he just couldn't put his finger on what. She was different from the kook girls he was used to at least. Myra's eyes soon met his and she looked at him in a questioning manner, pulling him out of his long train of thoughts. "What?" Rafe asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he tried his best not to focus on the pain. Myra looked conflicted as she threw the wet paper towel away. "You know" she mumbled, turning back towards him. "I don't actually" Rafe spoke, eyeing the small girl, "please enlighten me"

Myra seemed just as conflicted as the uncomfortable conversation went on. She sighed, returning her focus back onto Rafe's wound. She continued to clean it as she felt her hands began to tremble slightly. Rafe was staring her down as he awaited his answer. He couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of her. He wasn't willing to let it go either, Myra soon realized that. So with another sigh she gathered her thoughts and let her words spill out into the world, the question that she desperately wanted a answer to. Or more so she needed it.

"Did you and Barry argue over drugs?"

Myra looked up, seeing Rafe gaze away. He clenched his jaw, seemingly unhappy with the question she had just asked him. Myra could see Rafe grit his teeth ever so slightly as he stayed silent. He was unwilling to answer, as he often was when it came to things like this. He didn't want Myra to get involved in his business, it was for the best. "Just tell me the truth" Myra added, as she finished cleaning the wound. Rafe snapped his head back towards her, his blue eyes scanning over her with some kind of darkness lingering within them. "Fine yeah, it was a cocaine thing" he muttered, shrugging his shoulders, "it's not a big thing"

Myra knew that there probably was something more to it, more than it being just simply not a big thing. However she let it go, gently pulling Rafe's sleeve down, concealing his wound from the world. Much as if it never happened. Myra wanted to ask Rafe if he was okay, but she held back. She didn't want to offend him, even though she meant well. Rafe didn't want to be coddled by Myra, he saw himself as stronger than that. He was the one that was supposed to protect her if anything happened, not the other way around.

"Alright, I need to head back to work" Myra mumbled after a while, clasping her hands together as she backed off a little. Rafe watched her intently, taking notice of her every move. "Already?" he asked, the smirk from before slowly finding its way back onto his lips. He leaned his back against the porcelain sink once more, his gaze flickering up and down. Myra gulped, feeling exposed underneath his wandering gaze. A moment of silence found it's way in between the kook boy and the pouge girl, but it wasn't the same kind of comfortable and gentle silence as usual. The small bathroom was quickly filling up with loaded tension. Electricity drawing them together. Rafe's gaze trailed up Myra's small frame, eyeing each and every inch of her body before their eyes met. He smirked a little wider, tilting his chin up. Myra parted her lips, feeling her heart beat throughout her whole chest. Rafe pushed himself off of the sink, getting closer to the younger girl. "Stay a little longer" he spoke lowly as he placed his hands on her hips, skin, "I'm sure they won't miss you if you're gone after few minutes"

Rafe trailed his hands up towards her neck, his fingertips gently grazing her skin. Myra felt her chest tighten, as if the air within the small bathroom was running out. She had felt that way a handful of times before, usually in connection to a strong sense of panic. It most often happened whenever shit would go down with her father, but that always felt way scarier. This time it felt exciting. Surely Myra still felt a hint of panic rush through her veins, but it was accompanied by a way stronger feeling of something new. Something not only exciting but yearning, something that made her want to stay as close to Rafe as she possibly could. She got a feeling that he could sense it, for as she looked up she saw him staring down at her. He looked pleased as his fingertips pressed against her jaw.

Rafe cupped Myra's cheeks as he pushed her up against the door, leaning down to kiss her. Myra's heartbeat shot right up again as her lips collided with his. It was magical, as always. Such a unbelievable thing that only got better and better for each time. Rafe soon trailed his lips away from hers, his teeth scratching her skin ever so slightly as he kissed her neck. It sent a strong feeling of euphoria right through Myra, making her knees weaken. She grabbed onto Rafe, digging her fingernails into his upper arms. He seemed unfazed as he kept of kissing her neck, nibbling at her skin. A faint moan spilled past Myra's lips before she could stop it. It wasn't loud, but it was enough for Rafe to hear. He kissed her once more before he pulled away, once more gazing at her. Myra felt terror shoot through her body as her breath got caught in the back of her throat. A bright pink hue quickly flushed onto her cheeks as she pulled back. Rafe however wasn't even slightly terrified, but more so pleased.

"Oh so that's your sweet spot" he teased as he let his hands fall to her hips again, pulling her closer. "Oh my god" Myra mumbled, looking away. "Hey" Rafe spoke as a sweet chuckle left his lips, "there's nothing to be ashamed of, it was hot as fuck". He was quick to grab onto her chin with his right hand, forcing her to look at him. Myra's blush was still evident as Rafe trailed his fingertips along her cheek. He then fiddled with her ear before he let his hand fall once more, completely mesmerizing Myra with his antics. They stayed like that for a moment, so close. Myra then broke the tension by pulling away, "I really have to get back to work Rafe"

He nodded once, letting go of her. Myra could sense that he was disappointed. The smirk faded off of his lips as he looked at her. "Rafe" she uttered, but he just put his hands up in the air in defence. "It's fine Myra, leave me here all alone in this bathroom, just go" he muttered, so clearly having switched mood completely, "go back to your waitressing job that's way more important than me"

Myra sighed, placing her hands on her hips. "Come on" she huffed, tilting her head to the right as she looked at him, "you know that I need this job, but it's not like I value it more than you... I just can't get fired, alright?". Rafe pushed his lips together as his blue eyes scanned over her once more. "You're not going to get fired for staying here with me a little longer" he argued. "I might" Myra shrugged, blinking her eyes towards him, "I mean they're gonna notice that I'm gone soon". Rafe's gaze remained on her. His blue eyes were darkening in a way she had seen a few times before. He was taking it personally, like she didn't want to be with him. "They know that you're on break" he muttered, still not letting it go. "Yeah, but I can't be on break forever" Myra urged back. Rafe crossed his arms over his chest, gritting his teeth a little. "I'm not asking for forever, just a little longer to finish what we started" Rafe spat.

To finish what we started? Frustration quickly overtook Myra, and it mixed so well with a strong onset of insecurity. She knew that Rafe was like this, she had both heard stories about it and seen it firsthand herself. She wondered how many drinks he had managed to down before he found his way into this bathroom with her and if he had inhaled anything else. She couldn't be sure when it came to him, that charming yet poisonous kook boy. Myra sighed, feeling herself tense up.

"I'm not gonna have sex with you in some grimy bathroom at the island club, get a grip"

Myra left the small bathroom, slamming the door behind her. She felt somewhat betrayed, even though Rafe hadn't meant to harm her. He just hadn't thought things through, as he often missed to do. He was being insensitive in some ways, but Myra knew that he had his reasons. At the same time she couldn't help but to feel guilty herself. She was the one that was holding back. She didn't want to act like some type of a prude, it wasn't about that. It was just something that she couldn't seem to get past when it came to such a vulnerable thing as being intimate like that with someone. She didn't know why, but it scared her.

Rafe was quick to follow her, the realization of his actions dawning on him as soon as those words had left Myra's lips. He caught up with the pouge girl, grabbing onto her arm to stop her.  "Myra wait, hang on" he spoke as he turned her around, a hurt look upon his chiseled face. Myra felt tense as he once more gazed down at her. The smirk was long gone, but he didn't look angry either. "I didn't mean it like that" Rafe hummed, keeping his voice low and gentle. Myra nodded her head, feeling Rafe's fingertips warm her skin upon her arm. He let go, grabbing a hold of her hands instead. "I didn't, okay? I promise you" he urged once more, needing her to believe him, "I wasn't expecting you to do anything with me in that bathroom, I just didn't think it through"

Myra nodded her head once more, taking a step closer to Rafe. She still felt the electricity in the air, thus making the need to get closer to him linger. She squeezed his hands as a way to assure him that it was fine, that she understood that it was all just a misunderstanding. "I know Rafe" she mumbled, her eyes meeting his. "I mean it's not like I don't want it, cause trust me... I do" he spoke with a slight chuckle, "but I know that this is a sensitive thing to you and uhm, your first time definitely shouldn't be in a grimy island club bathroom"

Myra get a faint giggle spill past her lips. Rafe smiled a little as he let go of her hands. Myra felt the familiar sense of comfort return to her as Rafe stroked her cheeks, trailing his hands down the back of her neck. His touch was slow and gentle, no way near as needy as before. Myra felt sure in believing that he was being genuine, that perhaps he had left his non caring Casanova habits behind him by now? In that moment it felt so at least. "It's fine Rafe" she mumbled with a slight nod of her head, "I'm alright"

Rafe leaned in closer, humming a short "good". Myra smiled faintly before she felt him cup her cheeks in his hands. His fingertips felt warm against her cheek and the mere sensation of it gave her butterflies. A thousand small butterflies flying around inside of her stomach. She liked the feeling, it was something she could stay in forever. She laid her hands upon his arms as he kissed her, this time with a much sweeter manner. The kiss was innocent, yet it soon deepened. It felt as somewhat of a new beginning for the both of them. Then it all came crashing down.

"Myra?"

The euphoria that flooded their bodies was soon exchanged for anxiety and shock. A doomsday kind of vibe. Myra heard her name being called by a familiar voice. A voice that she had heard a million times before. A voice she surely didn't want to hear speak her name as she was stood kissing Rafe Cameron, the kook enemy. A million thoughts spun around inside of her mind for a split second, but Myra couldn't seem to make sense of any of them. Her and Rafe broke apart and she managed to catch a glimpse of him, seeing the pure dread within his ocean blue eyes. He recognized the voice too. He had heard it many times before and he knew just as well as her that this was bad.

Myra's mind went blank as she turned around. It wasn't an easy task for her whole body felt stiff and stale, like she was frozen in her place out on the back porch of the island club. Much to her horror she could see two familiar faces standing further down on the lawn. Two people she knew, two people she had his this whole thing from. The one whom the voice belonged to and the one that followed him along. Myra gulped hard before she parted her lips, desperately trying to get some air down into her lungs. It was suddenly so hard to breathe, as if the air had run out all around her. "Fuck" she mumbled breathlessly to herself, but Rafe could hear it. "Fuck" he mumbled back, feeling the exact same way as her. Panic settled within her veins again, but this time around it wasn't exciting or alluring, it was just awful.

Brown curls, blonde long hair and two pairs of chocolate brown eyes. Gaping mouths and total shock. Down on the green grass just outside of the island club stood the two people Myra wished hadn't seen her kiss Rafe. But they had witnessed it all and now it was too late. They had been caught red handed by John B and Sarah.
