Lando's POV
It felt amazing to get P2 in today's race. As soon as I got out of the car my eyes were immediately searching the crowd for Sophie. I don't know why she consumes my mind so much. I made my way towards the McLaren crowd and celebrated but I couldn't help but wonder where Sophie was. I would normally see her standing near the press area ready to do the post race interviews but she was no where to be found today.
I headed onto the podium and done the usual champagne celebration but my mind was elsewhere. Where was she? As I made my way to the press area a different presenter was stood where Sophie normally did. As I was waiting to be interviewed by this random ass presenter I decided to take my phone out and see if I had a message off Sophie explaining why she wasn't here.
I didn't. Instead I was greeted by articles.

Lando's POV
My mind started racing. All of the articles spoke about how she was in hospital but none of them explained why. Oscar Piastri who was behind me in the que to be interviewed tapped me on the shoulder as I came out of my daze. Swear dripped down my forehead as I looked white as a ghost.
"Mate, what's wrong?" Oscar asked me concerned. I couldn't even string a sentence together. I just turned my phone around and showed Oscar the hundreds of articles all over my phone. "Jesus man. Is she alright?" He asked.
"I ... I don't know what's happened." I replied as my voice shook. "I heard something over my radio during the race and I swear they said Sophie but I couldn't make out what they were saying. It's as if they but dialled my radio." Oscar spoke trying to frantically help Lando.
"Why hasn't anybody told me what's going on! I need to go and see her. Fuck these interviews." And with that I walked away from the media pen and headed towards the McLaren garage. Oscar must've warned them all that I was on my way because as I arrived everyone had already packed my bags and had my car keys waiting for me.
"Whats happened? Is she okay?" Tears were forming in my eyes but I need to be strong. Zak stood staring at me. I can always tell when something bad has happened because Zak is not good at hiding his emotions. "I think it's best if you head to the hospital. Sophie's okay. But you should be there for her." Zak spoke in a frantic but calming manner.
I grabbed my car keys and bags off the workers and headed straight for my car as the paparazzi swarmed me I pushed past and made my way to the hospital.
