As the night became dark Lando texted Sophie saying he was picking her up and to be ready in five minutes. Lando then drove the pair of them back to the track which was lit up beautifully. "What are we doing here?" Sophie asked confused as to why Lando has brought her to the track. "Well, I thought in the day time we can't appreciate being together on the track or in the paddock so I decided we should experience it together at night." Lando replied with a smile on his face as he saw Sophie's eyes light up. " That is so cute. Thank you Lando." The pair started to walk around the track taking in all of the emptiness of the stadium. It's rare that the pair ever see it this empty and it felt so peaceful and tranquil. It was the quiet before the storm.
After they finished there track walk they headed to the McLaren garage which was also like a ghost town at this time of night. "I've never been inside any of the garages." Sophie spoke. Of course she hadn't she works for f1 not any of the teams so she can't be seen favouring one team over another. This would obviously become hard for the pair when they finally announce whatever is going on between them but for now they enjoyed the peace of their connection instead of dwelling on the future possibilities of anything can happen between them.
Lando gave Sophie a private tour of the McLaren garage as she was amazed to finally see what she has watched on tv for years in real life. Lando enjoyed showing Sophie glimpses of his everyday life and he appreciated how interested Sophie was.

Two weeks have now passed and Lando hasn't had a particularly good two weeks as he finished in P10 and P6. During this time Sophie and Lando have become even closer than before embracing any secret moments they could away from the cameras and the paparazzi. The rumours have died down a little in the press however round the paddock the rumours are flowing with all of the drivers asking Lando about his relationship with the presenter.
Sophie and Lando sneak into each others rooms on a night when everyone is asleep to spend the night cuddling and kissing while watching endless movies for them to sneak out the next morning before Landos team would come and wake him up for training or the race.
