Mihrimah is a young woman with long, black hair and striking grey eyes. She appears compassionate, self-assertive and brave to people around her and is gentle-hearted. She is sometimes called the Benevolent Sultana. She has strong willpower and don't let anyone reprimand her, and stands tall with grace and dignity. She can be very strict and reprimand others for their behaviour, if she thinks they are out of line.

She is very stubborn and an intelligent woman, which has been noticeable since she was a little girl. She is very talented in swordsmanship and archery, thus being a skilled fighter and is very good in horse-riding.

She generally has a problem with authority as she thinks can be done other ways and often ends up in trouble because of this. Otherwise, Mihrimah can act childish from time to time, if opportunity calls for it and can be very mischievous. As a child she would prank people.

Mihrimah sees herself as a strong and independent woman, but doesn't let it go over her head. She never choses a fight she can't win.

She is a lost cause when it comes to weaving rugs, but is good at sewing and embroidery, as well as cooking. She loves to experiment with different herbs when cooking.

Ertuğrul Ghazi

Mihrimah loved her paternal grandfather more than anybody else, and looked up to him. He would often take her hunting with her grandfather Bamsi Bey or her uncles. He too, like his sons, wished to protect his oldest son's legacy. Apart from Osman, Ertuğrul thinks that she will be able to protect herself if she knows how to fight.

When he returned from Konya, she almost forgot to kiss his hand in respect before hugging him, as it has been a long time since she had seen him. During this time, while her uncles fought for the position of Bey, she took care of her sick grandfather. She often reprimanded her uncles for acting like their father was dead and instead let greed corrupt them. Ertuğrul even encouraged her to use her title as a Sultana before people, who didn't know their place or when someone with a higher title of a Bey tried to take over the Kayi Tribe. He warned her though not to succumb to the temptations of the power of the title and misuse it. He was also the only person Mihrimah listened to and never disobeyed.

She was heartbroken, when Ertuğrul died, feeling like the only person who could understand her left her.

Halime Sultan/Hatun

Mihrimah has never met her maternal grandmother, but respects her a lot. She was loyal and always ready to do anything for her husband. Like her grandmother, Mihrimah was well-educated.

Bamsi Bey

Bamsi Bey was Mihrimah's maternal grandfather. She also loved him very much and always called him 'Benim Bamsi' (Mine Bamsi), and continues to do so, even after he was martyred. People would often say that she was good-hearted like her grandfather. Mihrimah loved listening to his storytelling and he would often take her hunting along with Ertuğrul. She has always been skeptical of her grandfather adopting people, who once were enemies. Therefore, she looked out for him, so he wouldn't get hurt by the same people again. She was a little skeptical of him adopting Cerkutay, but eventually accepted him after witnessing how he was tormented of his previous actions under the Mongols. She was very sad, when Bamsi was martyred but held her head high as it was his wish to die as a martyr and join his bey, Ertuğrul in the afterlife.

Ayça and Hafsa Hatun

She has never known her maternal grandmother Ayça as she left when her son-in-law died and daughter's body wasn't found, leaving her husband heartbroken.

On the other hand she had experienced the love of a grandmother by Hafsa Hatun, who she always called grandmother.

Aybars Bey

Aybars was her mother's younger brother, who she loved to spend time with. When she was a child, Aybars educaded Mihrimah on many fields.

Tarik Bey and Güneş Sultan/Hatun

Mihrimah has never known her parents, but has grown up with tales of their life in the Kayi Tribe.

Selcan Hatun

Selcan, along with Ertuğrul had influenced Mihrimah's childhood the most. Mihrimah loved Selcan just as much as her paternal grandfather, Ertuğrul. Selcan's influence on Mihrimah is the result of her upbringing gone wrong. Instead of weaving rugs and do what is expected of a Kayi Hatun, Mihrimah acts like Selcan, not being afraid of anything. Mihrimah often teases Selcan by calling her 'Selcan Sultana', much to the older woman's dismay. Mihrimah often confided in Selcan of the matter of feelings, when she feels overwhelmed by them. The older woman know how to soothe her soul, when Mihrimah is troubled. Mihrimah often shows her vulnerable side to Selcan, but only when the two are alone.

Gunduz Bey and Ayse Hatun

Her uncle and aunt took Mihrimah in and raised her alongside their son Aktemur, resulting in a strong bond between the two cousins. She cares for them a lot, especially her uncle Gunduz Bey, who she secretly sees as a true father figure, but hasn't told him yet, as she is insecure how to approach the matter.

Savci Bey

Like her other uncles, she looks up to Savci bey.

Osman Bey

Osman and Mihrimah has always had an unique relationship both in good and bad. They often understands what each other are thinking, whenever a new enemy appear. Mihrimah's problem with authority and Osman's stubbornness leads the two to disagree with each other. Even when Osman became Bey of the Kayi Tribe, Mihrimah doesn't refrain from say her opinions, when if she know that it contradicts Osman's. The main reason of the disagreements, is Osman's overprotectiveness for his niece, which blinds him and doesn't fully acknowledge Mihrimah's skills and talents. This always leads for Mihrimah to do the opposite of what he orders her to do, even though it results in good thinking. Even so, Osman trusts Mihrimah if not more than anyone else and gives her the responsibility of taking care of the tribe, once in a while, while he is away. He even entrusted her, the people of Söğüt's wellbeing. She travel to the said city to oversee the bazaar and coordinate with Sheikh Edebali and the priest.

Bala Hatun

Mihrimah sees Bala as her saving grace, as the woman supports her wish to fight for the Cause alongside her uncle Osman Bey. Thanks to Bala, Mihrimah is part of the Bacilar and gets to tag along conquests, when the opportunity arrives. Bala had taught Mihrimah how to be a hatun. Neither Mihrimah nor Bala are aware of this as Mihrimah enjoyed Bala's company and tagged along and helped her with the responsibilities. around the Tribe.

Malhun Hatun

Just like with Bala Hatun, Mihrimah also have great respect for Malhun Hatun. Malhun too was a saving grace for Mihrimah, as she with her personality, along with Bala managed to convince their husband Osman Bey to let his niece be a part of his conquests and that she is a very talented hatun. They would personally oversee her, so their husband would worry to much about his niece.

Orhan Bey and Alaeddin Ali Bey

Mihrimah loves Orhan and Alaeddin like her own brothers and doesn't mind watching them in the stead of Bala and Malhun. When spending time with her younger brothers, others had noticed that she is great with kids, and will be an amazing mother one day. When the boys get older, they see Mihrimah as their older sister and respects her. Mihrimah on the other isn't afraid to tell them their flaws if needed, and doesn't care how they react to it, as they need to face it.

Fatma Hatun

Mihrimah adores her younger cousin, who she sees as a little sister. Fatma is very dear to Mihrimah, and looks forward to the day where she can take her hunting, much to Fatma's pleasure. Fatma and Mihrimah often spends time together in the kitchen, helping the Hatuns to prepare food.

Sheik Edebali

Mihrimah respects Sheik Edebali and have a friendly relationship with him. Edebali is aware of Mihrimah's childish side, and often finds it amusing. Whenever Mihrimah is confused or troubled, she often looks for spiritual guidance by him. He had also educated Mihrimah in the spiritual side of religion.

Kumral Abdal

Kumral Abdal is very fond of Mihrimah and supports her in her being a warrior. Reason for this is, that he often warns Osman not the keep her away from conquests, otherwise he'll fail his test regarding Mihrimah. Mihrimah is his disciple in healing and often spends time with him gathering herbs and studying, but she already knows a lot regarding healing, as she had also been taught by Selcan and her aunt Ayşe.

Cerkutay

Cerkutay and Mihrimah had a very rocky start, as he used to be a Mongol Commander. After giving him the benefit of the doubt, she realized that he truly had a change of heart. Along with Bamsi Bey, she taught him about our Prophet (pbuh) and to repent for his actions. She supported him in his determination to better himself and taught him how to be a Muslim.  Along the way she sees him as her family. Cerkutay and Mihrimah are a good match when pranking and making fun of others is to be done. They often try to prank each other. Cerkutay also have a profound talent to tease Mihrimah to the point she becomes angry with him.

Aygul Hatun

Mihrimah left the Tribe with Aygul and Selcan Hatun after her mother was killed by Hazal Hatun. After a year and half, Mihrimah had trained under Selcan along with Aygul. Mihrimah had always seen her like an older sister.

Serdar Aga

Serdar Aga is Mihrimah's right hand man and a close aide of her and trust him a lot. Serdar is the nephew of Abdurrahman Gazi and is knowledgeable in many fields. He had taught Mihrimah about other religions and taught her to speak other languages fluently. He cares greatly for Mihrimah's well-being and stated over for Osman that he will only follow Mihrimah's orders, not his. Serdar has been witness to Mihrimah's annoyance over Osman's attempt to hindrance her in joining conquest, many times.

Before meeting Mihrimah, he has been told by Ertuğrul that he wouldn't live forever and that she needed someone to support her. Because he would eventually encourage her to embrace the title of a Sultana, and that it would most likely burden her greatly. That's why she needs help in lessen her burden and guide her, as Serdar had worked in Konya Palace under Sultan Mesud.

Eva (Evangeline)

Eva is a Christian Greek from Athens and distant cousin to Julia. The two women worked with Rogatus to ruin the Kayi Tribe. But Eva has a change of heart after she was defeated by Mihrimah and started to respect the said woman and pledged her loyalty to her. She then became Mihrimah's right-hand along with Serdar.

Sultan Mesud

Mihrimah is very interested in Sultan Mesud, and the later being same with her. Even though he had helped Osman before, she missed the opportunity to meet him, which she regrets. She had always wondered what kind of person Sultan Mesud is, but respects him regardless as he aided Osman in the past. Starting to feel burdened by her royal title, she wonders how he as Sultan feels and has a wish to ask him this question. This interest in him comes from her grandmother's relation to the Sultan.

Vizir Alemsah

Like everybody else, Mihrimah despises the Vizir as he is shown to be arrogant and misuses his position for his own personal gain. But even so being around had taught Mihrimah that she needs to be careful, how she uses her own title against people and not be blinded by it. The Vizir understands better than anyone, that because she is a descendant of the Sultanate of Rûm through both of her grandmothers, she can have a lot of influence. Even though Mihrimah is naïve regarding the influence of the title Sultan, she learns more and more about it, starting with Vizir Alemsah.

Commander Konur

One would call their first meeting 'Hate at first sight' from Mihrimah's perspective. As he is the right-hand man of Vizier Alemsah, he aids him in is personal quest to power. Mihrimah is one of the reasons that he has a change of heart and sides with Osman. During their time together, he often teases her calling her 'küçük hanım' (little lady), much to her dismay. He does this to make her forget of her burdens. But even so they work well together and he is the first enemy Mihrimah starts to trust and even confide in him, lessening her burden, obliviously to her.
