Dear Journal...
...
I almost died in a scary forest,
Fangirls stole our map,
And I now have a bruise on my knee.
Well, let's just say the first day of camp was Uh... interesting?
Today I was actually the first one to wake up (to my own surprise).
Sadly I wasn't awoken by my alarm or something like that.
I heard voices from outside, I furrowed my eyebrows as I slowly sat up.
I took a quick glance at my phone which was way too bright.
06:37 am.
Which hooligan is awake at this hour?!
And most importantly, woke me up-
I squinted my eyes focusing on the voices, trying to ignore Hyunjin's snoring. The voices definitely belonged to some of my classmates.
After 10 minutes of desperately trying to fall back asleep, which of course didn't work.
I got my ass quietly off the bunk bed.
I took a look at my friends who were all safe and sound asleep.
Felix was hugging his pillow tightly, and Hyunjin had one leg that hung from the edge of the bed.
I put on my slippers and walked towards the door. I felt the cold morning breeze against my skin, slightly shivering.
Since I was only wearing a shirt and Some knee-length shorts.
The voice came from the cabin right next to us, I still couldn't clearly tell who it was.
I got down from the cabin terrace and hid behind the wooden facade.
I squinted my eyes, trying to see a bit better in the dark.
Four people stood on the side of cabin number 7.
I looked at the four intensely trying to figure out who they were.
When suddenly I felt my soul leave my body.
"What are you doing?"
Whispered someone close to my ear.
I had to stop myself from screaming, as I turned around, hand on my chest.
Oh, of course, it's him.
"Lee Minho!! I almost had a heart attack because of you!"
I silently shouted, lightly hitting his arm. He smiled and silently laughed at me.
"I'm sorry, but seriously what are you doing?"
He said, trying to see what I was looking at.
"Well I couldn't sleep since some people decided to talk super loud at-
06:50 am!"
I pouted, crossing my arms in annoyance.
"Did I wake you up?"
I said, looking at him.
"Well not really, I was just curious about why you're going outside at this hour, I thought you were sleepwalking."
He said giving me that cocky grin.
I shook my head and playfully rolled my eyes.
"You're making fun of me again!"
I protested while laughing.
"Whaaaat?
Nooo I'm not!
what if you would've fallen into the lake? Who would've carried you back?
I wanted to save you."
I scoffed while laughing.
"Sure."
He raised an eyebrow, that stupid grin still on his lips.
"What? Don't believe me?
I looked at him, my face literally said
'Sure buddy whatever you want to believe.'
I cracked up at the dramatic look on his face.
"Now you'll get it!"
He said, trying to lift me up.
I quickly ran from him, a huge smile on my lips as I ran.
Minho who was apparently very determined to probably throw me into the lake, chased after me.
We were both laughing, running around the grass, in the dark.
Suddenly I found myself on the end of the pier, the sun was slowly rising, shimmering and reflecting on the lake.
The sky was painted in gray and fiery orange.
I turned around, Minho who was just chasing me a minute ago, stood now behind me.
He smiled at me and gently grabbed my hand.
"I got you"
He said, looking at his hand which held mine.
I chuckled, I turned around pulling his hand with me. I saw from the corner of my eye that his jaw slightly dropped at the view.
I faced him again, just to see that he was already looking at me.
Again, that stupid grin on his lips.
We looked at each other, the sun was shining, making his eyes shine.
Shine so bright, I almost lost myself in them.
We probably stood there for a good amount of time, just staring.
I sighed and smiled as I looked down.
"You're weird you know?"
I said, looking back up,
he just chuckled.
"I'm normal, right?
Compared to you?"
I asked again a smile on my lips.
He looked at me with a soft expression,
His eyes shone again.
"I like normal."
That's when I felt a
pair of lips on mine.
My eyes widened at first, but I quickly closed them.
The kiss was soft and gentle,
My first kiss.
We stood there for a good moment when I suddenly remembered that I need air to breathe.
I pulled away, with red cheeks looking at the ground.
When I looked up, Minho had like often, an unreadable expression.
But something was different, it was soft.
His ears were red just like his cheeks.
I slightly smiled at him, my whole body felt like sparks were flowing through it.
Like the butterflies were throwing a party, fireworks going off.
"I like you too."
I said a grin creeping on my lips.
He chuckled and put his arms around my waist.
Just as I thought that our lips would meet once again. We heard Mr. Park's voice, something that definitely threw me off at that moment.
"Good Morning... everyone! Please get ready, Breakfast will be served in uh... 30 minutes!"
Said the sleepy voice through the speakers, Minho and I looked at each other with blank faces, we both broke out in Laughter.
"Then, would you like to be my boyfriend or would you rather have breakfast?"
He said in a joking tone, imitating Mr.Park's voice for the last part.
I giggled as I put my finger on my chin.
"Mhmm breakfast sounds good...
but I'll take both."
I said with a big smile giving him a short peck on the lips.
