in the corridor of the power core Obi Wan triggers his lightsaber as the red Fields deactivate.
as Qui Gon engages Maul Obi Wan dashes to reach his master.
the walls reactivate sealing the young Jedi off from the duel.
he watches intensely as his master and the Sith Lord face off inside a bottomless shaft.
maul twirls his staff and advances with rappid high low strikes.
Qui Gon Parries then strikes out fiercely
maul blocks with his staff held horizontally
he bust Qui Gon in the face with the hilt, stuns the Jedi then runs him through.
Obi Wan:"Noooooooooooooo!"
Qui Gon crumbles
his lightsaber lies extinguished on the floor beside him.
Obi Wan's jaw clenches and his neck muscles seize
Maul glares at the young Jedi and waits.

on the battlefield
droids escort hundreds of Gungan prisoners away as others pile up dead bodies.
a dozen close in on jar jar and tarpals.
Tarpals:"No giben up, General Jar Jar mesa tink of something"
Droid:"hands up"
Jar Jar:"my give up my give up" he said holding his hands up as Tarpals groans and facepalms himself.

in the palace
armed droids bring Padmé, Penaka
and the Naboo soldiers before the Viceroy and his aid
Nute:"your little insurrection is at an end, your highness
Nute:"time for you to sign the treaty and end this pointless debate in the sand"
the "Queen" arrives
"Queen":"Viceroy! your occupation year has ended"
she blasts two droids
Nute:"after her this one's a decoy"
as the "Queen" dashes out of sight
Padmé pulls two laser pistols from a secret compartment in the throne.
Padmé:"captain"
she tosses one to Panaka and they shoot the remaining droids.
defenseless, the viceroy and his aid glance nervously around the room.
Panaka:"jam the doors"
using a control panel on a wall the soldiers close the doors
Padmé:"now, Viceroy we will discuss a new treaty"

in the power core
Obi Wan and Darth Maul glare at each other through a single energy field.
it shuts off and Obi Wan attacks
Obi Wan blocks Maul's double bladed thrust then whirls away.
Maul twirls his light staff.
Obi Wan leaps to dodge it then advances.
he cuts Maul's hilt in half and Maul drops half and springs to his feet.
his lightsaber now has only one blade.
he kicks Obi Wan and the young Jedi does a backflip and attacks.
Maul spins away then crawls back into battle.
they lock light blades and Maul raises his hand flinging Obi Wan backward into the shaft.
Obi Wan dangles from a peg 6 feet below the edge And Maul kicks the Jedi's lightsaber down.

meanwhile in the battleship hangar with Anakin
Anakin:"yes we have power Shields up, Y/n"
He and Y/n activate a force field which covers their ships.
Anakin:"take this"
he fires a laser gun
Anakin And Y/n:"and this"
They both shoot two glowing torpedoes that streak down a hall and hit a reactor pile.
Y/n:"Oh oh"
Anakin:"let's get out of here"
he starts the engine and the ship takes off, Y/n following behind them a fiery explosion fills the hangar.
flames bursts through the battleship.
Pilot:"what's that? It's blowing up from the inside!"
other pilots watch the explosions
Pilot 2:"we didn't hit it"
Anakin and Y/n fly through the hangar.
Y/n and anakin:"now this is pod racing"
Pilot 3:"look two of us out of the main hold"
Anakin's and Y/n's fighters soars away into space just ahead of a wall of flame.
Y/n:"whooo we did ani we really did! Haha!"
Anakin:"Yeah we did whooo!"
the Command Battleship explodes
as the massive ship breaks apart fiery debris sprays in all directions.
on the planet surface the battle droids shut down.
Jar Jar:"was'n they doing?"
Tarpals:"the control ship has been destroyed look!"
he knocks over a droid.
Jar Jar:"They all brok-ed"
Jar Jar topples one then throws up his hands
Gungan warriors jump up and down while cheering.

Darth Maul swipes the shaft rim
And sparks shower Obi Wan hanging 6 feet below.
he glances up toward Qui Gon's body on the floor and the unlit saber hilt next to him.
Obi Wan concentrates then springs up out of the shaft.
the lightsaber flies into his hand as he flips over Maul.
struck at the waist, Maul falls back into the shaft.
as he plunges down his severed body splits in two.
Obi Wan extinguishes the saber then crouches beside his master and cradles his head.
Qui Gon:"No, it's- it's too late"
Obi Wan:"no "
Qui Gon:"Obi Wan promise- promise me you will train the boys
Obi Wan:"yes, Master"
Qui Gon touches Obi Wan's face
Qui Gon:"They are the chosen ones they... will bring balance train them"
Qui Gon's eyes close
choking back tears, Obi Wan presses his face against his masters.

now in Theed City
a red capsule shape transport ship lands in the sunny central plaza.
Queen Amidala:"now, Viceroy you're going to have to go back to the Senate and explain all this"
Panaka:"I think you can kiss your trade franchise good-bye"
Captain Panaka nods sharply toward the transport for the Viceroy indeed to follow.
Senator Palpatine arrives, escorted by armed guards in brilliant blue robes
Obi Wan, Y/n and Anakin Bow to him.
Palpatine:"we are indebted to you for your bravery, Obi Wan Kenobi"
Palpatine:"and you young Skywalker and Young L/n we will watch both your careers with great interest"
sweeping over to the Queen, Palpatine greets her with a broad smile and a brisk nodding bow.
Queen Amidala:"congratulations on your election, Chancellor"
Palpatine:"your boldness has saved our people, your Majesty It's you who should be congratulated"
Palpatine:"Together we shall bring peace and prosperity to the Republic"

in the Jedi Temple Obi Wan kneels on the floor as Yoda paces
Yoda:"confer on you the level of Jedi Knight the council does but agree with you taking the boys as your Padawan learners I do not"
Obi Wan:"Qui Gon believed in him"
Yoda sighs.
Yoda:"the chosen ones the boys may be nevertheless grave danger
I fear in their training"
Obi Wan:"Master yoda, I gave Qui Gon my word I will train Anakin and Y/n"
Yoda groans and paces again.
Obi Wan:"without the approval of the council if I must"
Yoda:"Qui Gon's Defiance I sense in you.. need that you do not"
Yoda takes a deep breath before turning to Obi Wan.
Yoda:"agree with you the council does your apprentices Skywalker and L/n will be.. special permission, you have"

Later dignitaries encircle a burning funeral pyre
the Gungan leader boss Nass, Padmé and Palpatine look on with Slight sad gazes.
as Qui Gon's bearded profile lines within the flames Jar Jar bows his head.
Obi Wan, now wearing a hooded Jedi cloak turns to Anakin and Y/n
Y/n:"so what will happen to us now?"
Obi Wan:"The council have granted me permission to train the both you.. you and Anakin will be a Jedi I promise"
Anakin's face trembles as he stares into the flames while Y/n just stares down.
apart from them, Mace Windu stands beside Yoda.
Windu:"there's no doubt the mysterious warrior was a Sith"
Yoda:"Mmm always two there are no more no less a master and an apprentice"
Windu:"but which was destroyed?
the master or the apprentice?"
the Jedi Knights gaze at the wrinkled face of Senator Palpatine.

It's daytime as a Gungan marching band parades through an archway Naboo star fighters fly overhead And a crowd fills the streets.
Jar Jar and Tarpals ridd out in front behind them, Boss nass waves from a golden chair mounted atop a lumbering beast.
on a platform Padmé wears a queenly white gown and ruffled cloak.
standing with her, obi wan glances at Anakin and Y/n who wear Padawans tunics and close cropped hair.
children toss confetti and streamers onto the marchers.
Jar Jar's foot gets tangled in a stirrup
as he climbs down.
he and Captain Tarpals walk up the platform steps with Boss Nass
Padmé steps forward, her gowns ornamental fan frames her regal head.
the governor hands her glowing trophy resembling an energy globe
which she then presents to Boss Nass.
he holds it up for the crowd
Boss Nass:"Peace!"
Padmé looks down at Y/n who cocks a smile at her.
she grins back warmly
Obi Wan gazes out at the rejoicing crown.
