It's been a couple days since my conversation with Dom. So far he's still 'trying' to get in contact with Ace.
"Bambina breakfast" Antonio said as he walked into my room
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Of course why wouldn't I be" I answered
"It's just that there seems to be alot going on in your head" he said
"I'm okay Tony. Let's go have breakfast" I said and he reluctantly dropped the topic
"Guys I finally got in contact with Ace. He agreed to have a meeting, he'll send the address later today" Domenico said as soon as we sat down
"That's amazing news. Bambina, you will stay home with the twins and Matteo while we have our meeting" Antonio said
"Okay"
"No!"
The twins, Matteo and I said at the same time. I eyed them in confusion what do they want to do there anyway?
"I wanna meet THE Ace, he's so fuckin cool" Xander said and the other two nodded in agreement
"Don't be stubborn you are staying home with your sister." Antonio said and they whined like little babies
"Just eat quickly and go to school. Bambina, please no trouble today" Alessandro said and I nodded
Today is the day I go back to school. I miss my friends but there are some faces I want to avoid seeing
"I won't do anything as long as they stay out of my way" I said and he sighed before nodding
After eating, I went back to my room and I used my burner phone to send Dom the address. I grabbed my bag, my phone and went back downstairs.
"Are you ready?" Stephano asked and I nodded my head. We left and made out way to school
Upon reaching, the parking lot was filled with students and I could see my friends standing at the entrance of the school
I got down and almost instantly, everyone's eyes shifted to me. I could hear whispers and could see the fear in their eyes as I approached
I made my way to my friends and huge grins spread across their faces which caused one to grow on my face as well
"Gabriella!" They said in sync as they hugged me tightly
"Hey guys" I chocked out
"Are you okay?" Landon asked and I nodded
"I heard Ariana is still in a coma at the hospital" Blake said as he hugged me again
"At least something good came out of all this" I responded with a shrug and they chuckled
I and Aria made our way to our class and sat down
"I really missed you. Ever since Lexi dropped out I haven't heard a word from her, it's like she disappeared" Aria said and I turned to her
"Dropped out?" I asked
"Yes she told me that she told her parents that she couldn't continue going to school and she had an amazing business idea in mind so they let her. But something about her story doesn't add up" she explained with creased eyebrows
I completely forgot about the Viktoria girl. I have to bring this up with Enzo again
"Also girl Alessio has been asking about you non stop" she said with a stupid smirk and I cringed
"Stop that shit. What does he want, I mean he said all he had to the last time" I said
"I think you should hear him out" she said and I shrugged
The bell rung and I went to my next class and unluckily for me, he was there, his eyes locked with mine and I broke eye contact
I made my way to the furthest side of the class and sat down
"Hey" he said and sat down next to me. I sighed in annoyance, trying to keep my emotions intact
"What do you want?!" I snapped
"I want to talk to you" he said and I rolled my eyes
"We have nothing to talk about" I stated and faced the teacher
The class was excruciatingly long. I bounced my knees in nervousness, immediately the bell rung and stood up and left the class
I heard someone following me and I quickened my pace. He held my hand and I yanked it away from him
"Fuck off will you" I said.
He was the one who said I should leave him alone. I'm simply doing what the fuck he told me to so what the hell is his problem?
"Listen to me" he said and held my hand again, tighter this time
"Can you fuckin stop? I already told you I don't want to talk to you!" I screamed at him
"What the fuck is going on here!" I heard Blake's voice and I turned to see him, Nathan and Kyle coming our way
Blake came forward with dark eyes and punched Alessio in the face while Kyle took my hand
"Don't touch her ever again" Nathan said with clenched fists
I looked at Alessio who had a bloody nose and I felt bad but he brought this upon himself. If he had let me go when I asked him to then he wouldn't have gotten hurt
They accompanied me to my next class.
"If he ever bothers you again then let us know" Kyle said and I nodded
Timeskip- Lunch
I made my way to the cafeteria with Aria and we sat with our friends.
"I heard there's a new student. The girls say he's hot" she said with a dreamy look in her eyes and I rolled my eyes
Trust Aria to fan girl over a guy she hasn't even met
The cafeteria doors opened and I turned just in time to see Seb walk in. He turned towards me and his eyes widened and a smile grew on his face
"Little demon!" He said as he walked towards me and engulfed me in a huge hug
"I thought you guys went back. How's papa?" I asked
"We did go back but after alot of consideration, papa said we could move here permanently. He's doing great by the way" he said and I hugged him again
"I missed you so much! I have alot to tell you" I said and pulled him down to sit with me
"So do you wanna introduce us?" Noah asked with a head tilt
"Oh this is Sebastian. He's been my friend since I was a kid, he's like a brother to me" I said and they nodded in understanding
"Nice to meet you" they all said with a smile and he smiled back
"You too"
Turns out that he has the same schedule as mine so we spent the whole day together.
"We might come over soon" he said as we walked out of school
"Please do. Tell Adonis I said hi" I said and he nodded
I hugged him and the rest of my friends before making my way to our car. I felt someone's gaze on me so I turned to see Alessio staring at me. He looked away and sped off in his car
What a weird child
"When did your friend come back?" Stephano asked as I got into the car
"He told me they came back a week ago" I explained and he nodded before driving us back home
When we got home, I went to my room and took a quick shower. I got dressed in one of Dom's button up shirts and some shorts
I went downstairs to watch a movie and soon after all my brothers started piling up into the room
"Is that my shirt?" Dom asked with a frown
"Yes"
He glared at me before turning away and muttering something under his breath
"How was your day bambina?" Tony asked as he kissed my cheek
"It was okay aside from the looks people gave me" I said
"Do I have to talk to the principal?" He asked and I shook my head
"Our bambina met a boy" Xavier blurted out as he stuffed his stupid face with chips
"You're seeing a guy?" Leonardo asked as the veins in his neck popped
"No I'm not, don't listen to that idiot. It was Seb" I explained quickly before things could get out of hand
"Greek mafia?" Dom asked
"Yes. He told me that they moved here permanently" I said and they nodded in understanding
"Also we've gotten the address so we'll be leaving in about three hours. Please behave" Ales said and we nodded
Time skip- three hours later
It's currently 9pm and my brothers were getting ready to go for the meeting
"Bambina we're about to leave. What's wrong?" Leonardo asked as he walked further into my room and put his hand on my forehead
I'm pretending to be ill so I wouldn't get disturbed for the rest of the day.
"Headache" I said as I closed my eyes tightly
"I'll get you some medicine hold on" he said and ran out of my room
"Headache huh?" Dom said with a light chuckle as he leaned his body on the door frame
"That's the only excuse I have" I said and he nodded
"I got you the medicine. Take it and you'll feel better" Leo said as he came back in with some water and a pill in his hand
"She needs rest as well. I'll tell those idiots not to disturb her" Dom said as he secretly winked at me and left
I took the medicine and closed my eyes again. Soon after I heard my door close, signalling that Leo had left
About twenty minutes after, I received a text from Dom
'we're on our way. I'll try to stall to give you enough time' it read
I got up quickly and changed into my assassin outfit with a black hood covering my entire face
I opened my window as quietly as I could and slid down the pole. I picked up a stone and threw it at the opposite direction, and the guards quickly rushed there
I ran out of the gate quickly and got on my bike. I drove as fast as I could to the base and hid my bike.
I ran in and went to Enzo's office. He looked to be on edge, when he saw me he sighed in relief
"You nearly gave me a heart attack. They just got here, they're in the meeting room, go quick" he said
I slowly made my way to the meeting room as my heart pounded loudly in my chest. It's took late to turn back now
I walked in and I could see everyone staring at me in confusion
"Excuse me but we have a meeting with Ace" Leo said
"I know. What is this meeting about?" I asked as I sat at the head of the meeting table
"Ace is not a woman" Emilio said and I threw my customized dagger with my name on it his way. It sliced his left cheek and he cursed loudly
"Do you have anymore doubts?" I asked in a cold voice
"I'm sorry for his behavior. Everyone thought Ace was a man-"
"You all assumed that Ace is a man because you don't think that a woman could be as cruel as I am" I stated
"Don't waste my time. What is this meeting about?" I asked again
"We would like you to work for our mafia. We will pay you handsomely, you will be provided with as much equipments as you want" Antonio said
"Daring of you to set up a meeting with me for such a stupid thing. You know that Ace is not associated with any mafia so what makes you think that you will be any different?" I said as I tilted my head to the side
"No other mafia can give you what we're offering you" Alessandro said in a firm tone
"I'm sorry to disappoint you but I am not interested in your offer" I said in a tone that left no room for discussion
I could see how angry my words made them. As a Don I know how hard it was for Antonio to keep his cool at the sheer disrespect I am giving him
"Who the fuck do you think you are to refuse our offer?" Emilio like the idiot he is said
"Behave yourself" Dom sneered at him
"You want to know how I am?" I asked in a daring tone
"Forgive him. He doesn't know what he's talking about" Leonardo said
"Since you want to know who I am so badly.." I trailed off as I slowly took my mask off and came face to face with my brothers
Their eyes widened, jaws dropped to the ground as they stared at me in shock
"What the fuck!"
