&& this fanfic is completely a stand alone, so don't worry about looking out for continuation books [ womp womp, very sad, ikik ]. while i try to stay as true as i can to canon, i will deviate some so that my oc [ Cectelwen ] will fit into the story better and it won't seem as forced.
i known that as per Tolkien canon, Ecthelion is a Noldo. But, for the sake of really really really wanting to incorporate him into this fic and not just in passing, i did make him a Falmari as well as the son of Olwë and brother to Eärwen [ hate me if you must ! ].
