Feeling the cold metal against his back his jaw
clenched, he slowly turned around seeing his ex wife looking tired. He could tell that she was exhausted and slowly losing her mind which he didn't understand why.
Samantha has been going crazy since she found out angel was pregnant, she hated her in fact she wanted to kill her. She didn't understand why she was so angry but she was and all she wanted was nas back , knowing that he was happy and in love with someone else was killing her. Plus the father of her child was no help with her baby, it was like she was all on her own she had no one expect herself
"Come on now sam, what you doing huh?" Trying to talk to her as softly as he could but inside he was pissed he wanted to kill her for all the troubles she's putting him and his girls through
"What am i doing?? You got that YOUNG BITCH! Pregnant and stopped taking care of me! " Samantha yelled with shaky hands as the gun shook but still was pointing at nas
" you cheated on me Samantha come on now you expected me to keep doing shit for you" he gritted through his teeth trying not to let his anger show
"AND I WAS SORRY! I-i know better now i-i can be better f-for you baby i promise" he looked at her like she was crazy he couldn't believe she was even thinking that she had a chance ever again
Enough was enough nas was tired of hearing what she had to say, reaching for the gun he tried to pry it out her hands as they fought over the gun it went off right when santana made it up the steps
"AHH FUCK" nas yelled holding his shoulder right where the bullet went through, santana grabbed Samantha throwing her to the floor as nas held his bullet wound hissing at the pain
"Shit man " santana cursed as he looked down at Samantha who had tears in her eyes, in her mind she didn't mean to shoot him she just wanted him to take her back
"YO JR COME HERE" Santana had called for back up while he was downstairs he didn't know that Samantha had a gun in hand , jr ran up the steps as santana walked over to nas helping him up as nas groaned in pain

Three hours later as angel was on the plane nas was fresh out of surgery the good news was the bullet didn't hit anything serious. He was fresh out of surgery and beyond pissed, Santana was in the room with him speaking about what they were going to do with Samantha.
Fortunately for nas it was a single shot through the muscle a simple through and through more like a basic wound than anything.
"They just landed 20 minutes ago liyah said they on the way" Santana spoke up to nas who was wide awake, he refused the opioids that they were trying to give him he just settled on some regular ibuprofen
"She gon kill my ass" Nas said while both of them began to laugh, they knew that the wright sisters were going to come in and curse them both out for the stupid situation they are in
"Hell yeah" Santana agreed as the door opened revealing angel who was carrying the car seat with a sleeping alora who just ate 30 minutes ago. Angel had a look on her face that showed her emotions
"wassup sis, ima give yall a moment" santana stood up and walked out the room, angel took the car seat and walked over to the couch that was in the hospital room and sat alora seat on the floor next to it.
"Damn ya man got shot and ion even get no kiss or nun?" He joked
"Its not funny nas i just spent 3 hours on a plane with a crying baby while my stomach is in my ass because you got shot! You don't see the seriousness in this? We have a baby' a two month old who adores you. What would i do if that shit hit your head or your heart? Huh? " by now there were tears pouring down her face, of course he knew she would be worried but not like this
"Ight baby im sorry my fault come here" she wiped her face crossing her arms standing still with a pout, she hated how bad her emotions were she couldn't control it like she use to
"No because you don't get it! This is serious"
"I know baby come here" he felt so bad he didn't know that this would affect her this much , she made her way over to the bed and sat down
"I ain't mean to scare you im sorry you right i should take this seriously " he pulled her close with his good arm and wrapped it around her , he looked over making sure alora was still sleeping. He missed both his girls badly
"Is she dead?" She asked him and he sighed, he didn't want to tell her anything but knowing that face he couldn't lie
"Nah she not dead, we got her tho. You want her too?" Angel shrugged she didn't wanna think about that women ever again
"I just want her far away from us" she spoke in a whisper, alora began to fuss which made angel pull away and turn around to go take her out of her car seat
"Hi my little baby you wanna see dada?" She whispered to a wide awake alora taking her over to nas who had the biggest smile on his face
"wassup dada baby , i missed you"
"I called nadia she's on her way, i know you probably didn't wanna scare her but you scared me" he nodded understandably as she laid alora in his arm , before he could reply the door opened revealing his mother standing there
"Hello son" she spoke up first as nasir eyebrows scrunched together
"I didn't call her" she whispered to him and he nodded
"She on my uh emergency contact list" he cleared his throat as angel nodded, this would be the first time he seen his mother in a while. Also her first time seeing alora in person
"Im gonna give you two a moment well you three" Angel politely smiled
"Be nice daddy and introduce her to our baby" she leaned down whispering in his ear placing a soft kiss on his cheek
"Its nice to see you mrs. Allen" angel said politely walking past her and out the door giving the two alone time. Nas stared at his mom who he hasn't seen in almost a year with a straight face, sometimes he wish he could have a good relationship with his mom but he was tired of trying to talk to a brick wall
"She's beautiful nasir" she spoke as she sat her purse down and walked over towards the hospital bed getting a better look at alora
"Yeah she looks like angel" she hummed in agreement
"Yes she does, angel seems like a wonderful mother" He was surprised she said that he didn't believe his mother was complimenting her

"Im glad your ok, i know you did not call me the hospital did but once i got the call my heart dropped. I know I haven't been the perfect mother but hearing that you got shot breaks my heart you could've died" he just stared at her not knowing if she was being truthful or if this was an act
"You wanna meet ya granddaughter?" He asked her and she nodded with smile , she sat her purse down on the chair and grabbed the sanitizer pumping some on her hands. She walked over to the bed and nas allowed her to take alora into her arms
"Oh she's so beautiful " her voice cracked as she teared up with little alora in her arms, nas smiled despite how he feels about his mom he could see the light in her eyes, there was a knock at the door and it shortly opened revealing angel holding noah with nadia coming in behind her
"Oh hi mom! Ouuu my little baby!" Nadia ran to alora while nas mugged her
"Nadia i got shot" he spoke up and nadia looked over at him raising her eyebrows
"I know and you're stupid! But alora is more important hush" she waved him off hearing him suck his teeth, nadia was truly the little sister that acted like the big one
"uwcle!" Noah screamed seeing nas , angel walked him over allowing him to sit on the bed next to him.
"Wassup boy, you missed me?" Noah nodded as he played with his toy car , angel smiled she was happy that nas had his family here
"Ma stop hogging my niece!" Nadia complained while Angel laughed quietly, his mom handed alora off to nadia who took her excitedly. She walked over to the couch sitting next to angel
"Thank you for taking care of him, I haven't been the best mom since we lost his father and i haven't been the best towards you and im sire you hate me but for that i want to apologize"
"Thank you for that, your his mom and my daughter grandma i would never hate you , i know that I'm young but i love him truly and i don't plan pn going anywhere " angel turned her body towards nadine who placed her hand on her heart
"How about we get lunch sometime? My treat? I want to get to know you" nadine suggested
"Yes of course i would love that" nas looked over seeing them talking and he smiled , nadia noticed and looked over as well
"Maybe you should get shot more often if it means mom is gonna be nice" nadia joked hearing her brother suck his teeth

The next day Angel returned to the hospital with alora to take nasir home, he was up and acting like nothing was happening like he didn't even get shot. He's been through this before so it didn't phase him and the bullet didn't hit a bone just pure skin but of course Angel didn't think like that
"Slow down nasir! Just take your time!" Angel stressed as she patted alora back softly, they just handed her his discharge papers and he was already getting dressed. He hated hospital the only reason he stayed overnight because Angel threatened him
"Ahhhhh" alora screamed making angel look down seeing her trying to eat her shirt
"Girl you need to relax!" Angel groaned watching her try to twist in her arms, nas laughed and walked over getting in her face as she continued to make noises
"You yelling at ya mama ?" He placed a kiss on her cheek as she tried to grab his beard which she loves to pull on
"She should he yelling at you! I didn't even do nothing" rolling her eyes she watched as he grabbed both his phones slipping them in his pockets. Once he was finished he declined the wheel chair against angels wishes and walked out the hospital with a smile
"You got a attitude with me baby?" He asked her once they got settled in the car and alora was strapped in her seat not without a fight of course
"you just be wanting to hear me talk, cause u know i have an attitude with you" he chuckled a bit because she was right he loved the sound of her voice and the tone of it when she has an attitude and the small pout on her face
"You ain't even give me a kiss thats crazy baby" he changed the subject watching her roll her eyes, they were both in the backseat while bj drove. She turned her heart grabbing his face squeezing his cheeks giving him a quick kiss
"Damn i get shot and this is all i get?" He joked watching her give him a side eye, bj pulled up to the house allowing the gates to open before he drove in. Once the car was parked nas got out seeing two of guards standing by truck offering to help him
"Im straight " he told them and they nodded, angel scuffed and got out the car carrying alora deciding to leave the car seat in there. Once they got in the house angel walked straight upstairs going into alora bedroom. She was due for a nap so while she slept angel was going to sleep as well
But of course nas wasn't letting her go to sleep with an attitude, he walked up the steps a few minutes after her with his sling on his arm going into their bedroom seeing her underneath the covers
"Baby" she heard him call her and groaned feeling him pull the cover off her head leaning over placing his forehead against hers watching her trying to hide her smile
"I hate sleeping without you i think im becoming obsessed with you" he mumbled hearing her laugh
"Becoming? You literally are! I can't be out your sight for longer than an hour" which was true he wanted to put a tracker in her but didn't wanna scare her and he knew she wouldn't let him

"Can you wait a few days? And don't act like you don't know what im talking about. " she sat up watching him sit on the bed. he pulled her legs on his lap rubbing her ankle
"Ion get my hands dirty no more, i make a call its done don't worry about nothing" taking in his worlds she felt relieved
"Thank you daddy" every time she says that his dick twitches which she felt under her leg
"No. You just got out of the hospital " she tried moving her leg but he grabbed it placing it back on his lap removing her sock from her feet with one arm
"Mhm baby come take a nap while she's sleep" he grabbed her other foot removing the sock, she sat on her knees and helped him remove his clothes. She knew for the next few weeks she would be helping him and he wasn't complaining a bit. The moment he laid does he hiss in the process which made her more alert

"Wait you need to take your pill hold on" she climbed out of bed grabbing his medication and a cold water out of the mini fridge
"Sit up for me baby" she spoke to him softly which he complied, he took the water bottle and took two of his pills as soon as he sat the bottle down he laid back down bringing her down with him
"wait!" she still had the pill bottle in her hand good thing the top was already on, he grabbed it out her hand and threw it on the floor getting comfortable
"Im proud of you for talking to your mom and letting her meet our baby" placing her hand on his cheek rubbing circles on it with her thumb
" i couldn't hate her if i tried i know she ain't the best but thats my momma ya know? Besides nadia she all i got and i still take care of her regardless"
"I know baby i know , we don't have to talk about it now lets take a nap before your daughter starts screaming" he was starting to feel sleepy anyways due to the pain killers plus her rubbing his face in less than 10 minutes he was out like a light. She fell asleep shortly after him
She was woken up an hour later by alora's cries, she looked down seeing him still sleep so she slowly removed herself from his hold and left the room. Picking alora ip out her crib she knew it was feeding time, moving her top she allowed her small baby to latch on. Her phone began to ring and she looked down seeing bj calling her, he only ever called when someone was at the gate and if nas didn't answer
"Hello mrs. Smith i have a candice here just wanted to clarify if this was ok?" Rolling her eyes at the name nas makes everyone who works for him call her she gave him the ok to let her through, of course she told Candice everything that happened besides Aaliyah candice was like her sister as well
She stood up taking alora woth her allowing the blanket to cover her chest, she walked down the steps to open the front door revealing candice and chloe walking inside
"Girl you is grown " angel laughed watching chloe walk in by herself with no help
"ohhh my chunky girl! Let me wash my hands!" Candice ran best her bestfriend not even saying hello, which angel was used to ever since she had alora everyone always wants to talk to her like she could talk back
"Girl fuck you" angel said as she walked into the giant living room sitting on the brand new all white couches she made nas get because she refused to let her baby lay on a couch they had sex on more than once which he didn't hesitate to buy. He rarely ever says no to her
"Bitch please i just talked to you! I haven't seen my baby in weeks! Hello cutie " she cooed in candice arms
"Burp her please" candice nodded as she began to burp her softly, candice was absolutely in love with alora she honestly was so happy for angel. The one thing they both always talked about was if they were to ever get pregnant they would want to be taken care of the way angel was
Nasir truly adore her whatever she needed he got her, since the day she told him that she was pregnant he has done everything to make sure she was happy it didn't matter if he had to get ip at 3am to buy her a milkshake he did it regardless of how tired he was. Angel loved him she was in love with him and wouldn't change a thing
Candice was happy for her best friend, she knows what she's been through in the past and regardless of the age difference she could see how much love was between the two in such little time.
"is he okay?"
"Yes he is sleep he will be for a while i gave him his pills for his pain, the doctor said he should he fine it didn't hit anything major he just needs to rest but to him? He doesn't know what rest means" candice laughed she knew exactly what that meant because sean was the same way
"But enough about him how are you and my brother doing?" Angel moved her eyebrows up and down making candice bust out laughing
"Girl, i don't know he's been so amazing lately being more involved with Chloe being present more with the both of us but i don't know if I should give him another chance like i don't wanna be stupid"
"You want me to he honest? I want you to try to give him another chance, you love him so much and he loves you more than ever. Yes he's stupid sometimes but he would die for you in a heartbeat, don't think about anyone else expect the three of you"
Candice felt relieved she didn't want anyone to judge her all she wanted was someone to be supportive and tell her the truth plus she hated anyone else in her business. Having angel in her corner was something she truly needed
"Plus if he do something stupid ill shoot his little ass" Angel muttered as candice gasped
