Summary: Renee is dating Nick outside of wrestling and while she's in character she works with Darby and Sting then eventually turns on them to side with Christians team but while she's a face her and Nick can't help but break character with eachother
Renee's Pov
It's Tuesday night; Ana, Skye, Kris, Willow, and I sat in the hotel bathroom as Ana opened the hair dye, each of us gotta touch up the dye in our hair.
"Where is Swerve and Nick with our coffee?" Skye looks up at me
"I don't know he don't wanna answer his phone" I say rolling my eyes
"I mean I can call Swerve" Ana says putting on the gloves
I grab Ana's phone looking through her contacts pressing Swerve's number then putting it on speaker, he answers after only 2 rings, well damn.
"Yo Z where you at" I ask him
"Almost there"
"Have you-" I got cut off by him hanging up
Ana looked at me as she started wheezing laughing as I was baffled; "how rude" I roll my eyes
Ana chuckles as she begins to touch up the dyed part of Willow's hair, after like 10 minutes Swerve comes in with Nick holding our coffee's
He's looking around the room so Ana says "in here babe", Swerve walks in and hands me the coffee's then goes back to the room part
I go to him "why you hang up on me I was being nice this time?"
"Go get your hair dyed" he said getting on his phone
"You know I love you jackass"
He looks over at Nick like help me then looks back at me "yeah, yeah, yeah"
Ana steps out the bathroom "babe you redoing the color in your dreads again?"
He looks up from his phone "yeah maybe later baby"
After the timer ran out each of us washes out the hair dye is our hair out then Ana goes over to Swerve "your turn" she says as he gets up
"Stay pg" I joked
"Shut up ass hat" Swerve said as he walked in the bathroom
"Rude" I say as he shuts the door
*next day*
I walk into the with Ana like I always do; "why does it always have to be so cold in Seattle" Ana said as she shivered
"Right it feeels like -30" I said as Ana walked me to Darby and Sting's locker room
I waited until she got to the Mogul Embassy's locker room safely before I walked in, I looked over at Sting "are we scheduled tonight?"
"Yeah"
Darby looked over at me "you still feud with Julia?"
"No I have something new going on?"
"What is it?" He asked curiously
"You'll see, it'll leave you shook"
I put on my outfit adjusting it in the mirror "imma go talk to Ana real quick" I say as I walk out heading to the Mogul Embassy locker room
I don't even knock when I walk in which makes everyone look, Brian Cage gets up and stands in front of me
"Leave her alone" Swerve says as he looks at me
"Ana?"
"She's in the bathroom getting her ring gear on" he says walking into the bathroom to her
I stand there and wait for Ana to come out of the bathroom so a few minutes later she comes out with Swerve behind her looking down, he is so immature.
She smacks his hand "quit it, yes Renee?"
"Can I talk to you in private?"
She looks back at Swerve "I'll be back in a few" she says as she takes my hand walking outside
"What's up ne"
"It's about my storyline"
"What about it?"
Swerve comes out with Prince Nana "I'm going to the ring" he says giving Ana a kiss
She kisses back "ok I'll still be here, keep talking ne" she says as he walks away but saying the last part looking at me
"I get to work with Nick and I don't know how to turn on Darby and Sting"
"Did Tony tell you how to?"
"No he gave me creative freedom"
"How about you get Darby after and leave Sting to the guys"
"Smack Darby with a chair?"
"Yeah that'll work Ana says"
"Thanks bbg"
"Anytime" Ana says walking back into the Mogul Embassy
I walk back to Sting and Darby's locker room waiting to go out, they do their pose as I wait ringside until Christian's theme plays so I move to the side that's at the end of the ramp.
I look over at Nick who's smiling at me so I smile at him blushing a little until Darby interrupts it "don't smile at him" he says mad
I do my resting bitch face because that right there just killed my mood, I roll my eyes at Darby then look back at Nick who's doing his W pose in front of me; "such a tease" I shout to him
He chuckles as he does his shrug
As the match begins I pace back and forth cheering on Darby and Sting
when I'd rather cheer for Nick, I get frustrated as Nick keeps getting down wanting to scream out for him to get up.
*skip to after match*
Nick knocks down Darby and hands me a chair pointing at Darby telling me to hit him, holding the chair I look down at Darby then back at Nick whole Kill Switch and Christian take care of Sting
"Do it princess" Nick says moving closer to me
I looked back down at Darby and lifted the chair and smacked Darby in the back as he screamed out in pain, Nick took the chair gently and pointed to Christian "stand over there" he said as the crowd booed
Nick smacks Darby with the chair over and over as Christian hugged me welcoming me to the Patriarchy, we got out the ring making our way backstage as soon as I got back there I'm greeted by Ana like always.
Nick's Pov
"Welcome to the dark side" Ana said as she danced to Renee moving her shoulders making her and I chuckle
I let her hang out with Ana until we're ready to leave, "we did good?" I ask Tony Khan
Once I get the okay I go to the locker room opening my suitcase to grab street clothes then to take a shower, I wash my body and my hair then I get out after and dry off. I slip my shoes on putting my hoodie on after then I zip up my suitcase while I wait for Renee.
I open my phone and click the contact 'Bbg🩷";
[are you leaving with Ana and Swerve?]
[*sends pic of Ana and Swerve is looking at the camera like 😐*]
[Ana give Renee her phone]

[u there]
[yes, and no babe I'm leaving with you]
I wait in the locker room until Renee finally comes in;
"You ready to go?"
"Yes" she says grabbing her suitcase
We walk out the locker room heading towards the parking lot until Lexy Nair stopped us;
"Renee why did you turn on Darby and Sting?"
"Why is everyone asking me that, here, on twitter, my messages; it's no one's business but since you have to know I did it because Nick showed me that they was holding me back and that I would do so much better with him. Now if you excuse me I see Ana" she says walking away
We walk to my car while Ana talks to Renee while they both wait for their door to be opened;
"Ne wanna hang out later and go to the bar?"
"You know it" she said smiling getting in the car
"You hungry?"
"No babe I already ate"
I fill up on gas then going straight to the hotel.
*skip to Friday*
"Seattle is so fucking cold" I say as we walk into the arena
"I know that's what Ana and I said"
"You know what to do princess?"
"Yes, trip Darby and get on the apron when you give me the signal"
"Good you remembered" I smile as we walk into the locker room
"What color ring gear babe"
"Pink"
We both get dressed before Christian and KillSwitch get here, she smacks my butt then starts wheezing laughing. I look over at her "I love you Princess but never do that again"
"Why you like it?"
"Don't start nothing you can't finish Renee" I say walking out
I head to the catering table and not even 5 seconds later Renee is with Ana but I'm not even surprised. After a few minutes later we walk down the ramp and wait at the bottom, as soon as Swerve's theme plays I look over at Renee who's bouncing happy.
Ana grabs Renee's hand and walks to the ring getting in it as we do too, I do my pose as Ana and Renee put their arms up and does a hipbutt(like Tayjay did idk what's the name of it😭) and laugh after.
It's Swerve Strickland, Nick Wayne, Ana Santos, And Renee Vega vs. Sting, Darby Allin, Kiera Hogan, and Tay Melo
"Who's starting" Ana asked
"Me" Swerve says
Ana, Renee, and I stand on the apron as Swerve and Darby start the match, Ana stands in between Renee and I on the apron of course she does but she knows I love her too.
*skip towards end of the match*
I look over to see Ana on the turnbuckle and jump off landing a perfect moonsault on Sting and Kiera as Renee did a moonsault off the apron landing on Tay Melo.
Next thing you know Swerve for the win for us; "here are your winners Swerve Strickland, Nick Wayne , Renee Vega, and Ana Santos" the announcer said while holding up Swerve and I arm while Ana helps up Renee.
I look over to see Renee holding her leg so I rush out the ring and check on her;
"You ok?"
"No my knee is reinjured"
I carry her bridal style to the backstage area setting her down on a crate while Ana looks pissed off so I watch in amusement. The next thing you hear is Skye Blue yelling "Swerve get her!" While Ana is pulling out chunks of Tay Melo's extensions.
I look over at Renee as her and I start busting out laughing while Swerve is carrying her to the Mogul Embassy locker room, "she needs to control her anger" I joke to Renee
"What can I say she's a real one" she jokes back
"But I wouldn't change it for the world" she smiles
"Me either princess, she's ur protector when I can't help" I say smiling carrying her to the trainers room
I laid her on the table as the doctor started examining her knee leaving me worried and sad and everything in between.
"She needs surgery" the doctor says looking at me upset that he had to give the bad news
"Ok thank you"
They put us in an ambulance going straight to the emergency room for surgery, I hear Renee's phone ding so I look over to see Ana sent her a pic of the chunks of Tay's extension on the floor so I loom over at Renee to see her chuckling.
It's like Ana always knows what to do I see why Renee loves her, I rub her head "we're almost there baby" I say holding her hand while she replies to Ana
We get out the ambulance so I wait in the waiting room until she has about 5 minutes left just until her surgery, I walk in and sit beside her;
"You got this princess"
"I want Ana"
"You know she's never far from you"
A few seconds later Ana runs in out of breath "I forced Swerve to drive me here" she says catching her breath
I look over at Renee who's smiling
"You got this love bug" she says as the doctor comes and gets her pushing her bed to the surgery room
"Get off me Nick" Ana says smacking my arm because I was trying to hold her arm which made Renee laugh before she leaves the room
