Summary: Renee left the group J.A.S and Matt follows her because he refuses to not work without his girlfriend Renee, that pisses off the group so they set up Matt to cheat on his real life girlfriend Renee but he refuses to so that fires up Anna and Renee's feud; Matt would rather stay loyal to Renee then work in the group that brought him to the top.

Renee's pov
I stand in between Angelo and my boyfriend Matt with Daniel Garcia on the side as Lexy waits for the cue for the promo to start, she finally gets the cue after like five minutes;
"Renee what's your response to getting attacked last week by Anna and Julia?" She asks putting the microphone to me
I look over at Daniel and Angelo then back to Lexy "Girl how the hell do you expect me to feel? Obviously confused duh, okay Anna and Julia you want to attack me when my back is turned and I'm alone, clever I'll admit; Anna your feelings was so hurt that I left J.A.S girl open your eyes 'Hello!' I saw the real reason why Jericho needed me so I used my brain and left."
"What are you going to do next?" Lexy asks
"Find a partner for the match obviously I ain't doing a handicap match" I respond sarcastically
"Who's the partner" Lexy asks to be nosy
"I ain't telling you" I say walking away
"Renee?"
"Yeah Danny?" I ask looking at him
He shows me his phone and I see a text from Tony;
[let Renee know that the main event is now a 6 woman tag match against Anna, Julia, and Kiera; so find 2 partners]
"I have to find 2 partners" I look at him
"Yeah"
"I know who to ask!" I say happily
"Ana" we all say at the same time
"Y'all know me too well" I say picking up my baby girl Carolina
"Is Ana and Dante here yet?"
"I don't think so?" Matt says questionable
I walk to the gorilla waiting for them to show up but I see Darius;
"Hey Darius?"
"Yeah?"
"Where's Ana and Dante?"
"Behind me they'll be here" he says grabbing a donut walking to the Top Flight locker room
When Ana and Dante get here I rush over to them leaving them looking concerned;
"Ana will you, hey Adonis, be my partner for tonight? I need 2"
"Yeah sure, against who?"
"Kiera-" I say but she cuts me off
"I'm in"
I laugh as I put down Carolina and she puts down Adonis letting them roam around with Matt so we can get ready
"When's our match?" She asks
"After Thunder Rosa's promo"
After we get ready Anna and Kiera came over to us when we was standing in a corner;
"Awwww look who it is Mrs. 'Menard' and not so Mrs. Not so Martin, honey if he really loved you by now you would've had a ring on it" Kiera says
It was completely silent so all you could hear was Ana punching the shit out of Kiera with a hard punch to the jaw
"Damn" was all I could say
A fight was about to break out between them until Dante picks her up walking away holding her so she can't punch anyone else
Matt comes to me backing me up so I don't punch anyone and as I walk away I say "that's what you get bitch"
I put my hands up in defense "I'm not going to punch anyone I'm just gonna see Ana" I walk to her as he watches me so I don't start anything;
"Ana calm down" Dante says holding her still
"No! She is starting shit!" Ana yells back as she squirms
Dante holds her tighter "now"
"Ok I'm done" she puts her hands up in defense as he lets go of her
"Hey love bug" I say poking Ana
"She got no room to talk I'm engaged Diamanté ain't even wanna put a ring on that, he don't want to put a ring on it my ass"
Tony Khan walks up to us with a paper facing Ana "a fine" (I'm petty😭)
"A fine? Are you serious? You got backstage fights and shit and I'm the one who gets a fine?" Ana says snatching the paper reading it then walks away with it saying to herself "a fine my ass"
Tony looks at us "what? I can't control what she does" Dante says walking away to find Ana
I step closer to Tony "really? I see why Cm Punk and Jack Perry left" I say walking away
I stop to see Matt with J.A.S so I watch;
"Cmon just do it she don't have to know" Anna Jay says moving Harly Cameron closer to Matt
Matt backs up with his hands up "no I'm good, I'm in love with Renee only"
"You can do better" Anna Jay scoffs
"No I can't, I love my family thank you" Matt says turning around to see me
"I love you" I mouth to him as I walk closer to him
I hug him then walk to our locker room getting into my ring gear then walking to the Top Flight locker room waiting for Ana as she comes out in matching gear.
We fix our R.I.P Jay Briscoe arm bands and wait by the stairs as Mark Briscoe does his promo for Jay;
"South Carolina... what's good babyyyy" he said acting goofy
Ana and I listen as he continues "I come to you tonight representing the baddest tag team in the history of this planet; Dem Boys, the Briscoe brothers" he took a moment to rest as the fans chanted Dem Boys then he continued;
"Now tragically one year ago tonight my partner; my brother he passed on man, car accident. Moved on to the next level of existence, you know they say generations come generations go, man my nieces were in the truck wit em' and tragically they told my oldest niece they were injured severely, told my oldest niece, you know you'll never walk again" he took a break.
"However! Damnit!" He said emotionally
"Just go up them stairs honey" I told Jay's one daughter and she walked out there with her other sister and brother
"God is on the throne! We Dem Boys Damnit! We won't stop 'cus we can't stop, we goin' nowhere; aye we thank every one of y'all from the bottom of our hearts and we love y'all, god bless y'all" he said as he hugged his nieces and nephew as the crowd chanted Briscoe.
After Jay's tribute video played Ana and I walked out as they stood there still for a few seconds, Ana and I did a little group hug with Jay's kids then hugged Mark after. Ana and I yelled "reach for the sky boy! Dem Boys!" as we walked to the ring as we wait for our partner Willow to come to the ring.
If you know us you know we've known the Briscoe's since Ana and I wrestled on the indies; the Briscoe's we're the first ones to help our career out and years later it got us signed to Aew.
Matt's Pov
I stand by the tv backstage to watch Ana and Renee's match as Adonis and Carolina stood next to Dante and I.
*skip to middle of the match*
"Oh shit" Dante and I said at the same time as Ana's nose got busted.
We watched her tag in Renee and roll out the ring, you can tell all Renee saw was red because of the way she attacked Kiera. Poor Kiera was all I could think, everyone knows if you mess with Ana you mess with Renee and vice versa.
*skip to end of match*
I watched as Willow got the pin then they brought Ana backstage; I walk over to them as Dante stayed with the kids
"Is it broken?" I ask looking at Ana
"I don't know all I know is that blood is coming out" Ana answered as Renee was holding her head back with a tissue to stop the bleeding
"You need help to the trainers?"
"Please"
I held Ana's arm as Renee walked with us still holding the tissue as we got there
"Renee you going in with her?"
"Yeah just wait here" she says taking Ana inside
They came out 20 minutes later with a new tissue on her nose;
"Is it broken?" I ask
"Yeah, looks like imma be off tv for a while" Ana says as Renee rolls her eyes
She looks over at Renee "can you take me to the hospital?"
"Yeah cmon baby girl" Renee replies
Ana looks at me "please let Dante know where I'm going"
"Of course, I got ya" I reply as they walk away
I walk over to Dante to let him know then I walk to Renee's locker room sitting on the couch. I pull out my phone and text her;
[please update me and let me know if you guys need anything]
[will do]
After the show I head back to the hotel alone since Renee is still with Ana, the first thing I do when I get there is take a shower; I wash my hair, my body from head to toe, then finally rinsing my whole body off. I turn off the water wrapping the towel around my lower body heading to the room to grab my pjs.
I go back to the bathroom getting dressed as I walk to the sink to trim my facial hair a little bit but keeping it at the length that Renee loves. I clean up the bathroom sink putting everything away then going to the room laying down under the covers as I turn on the tv.
I put the volume down low as I begin to relax; my phone dings so I pick it up and see that Renee texted me:
[Ana and I are going back to a room now, is Carolina ok?]
[alright and yes she's staying in Dante's room with him and Adonis]
[ok babe I'll let you know if something happens]
[i love you Renee]
Baby💕 loved your message
[i love you too]
I put my phone down and before you knew it I fell asleep, at around 3 am I got woke up by dings from my phone so I sit up and look at it:
[were done now, we're on our way back now]
[okay drive safe honey]
*Later that day at 1 pm at the Menard household*
I sit down next to Renee "you ok babe?"
"No" she says putting her fork down on the plate
"What's wrong?"
She turns to face me "what am I going to do when we go back and Ana ain't at work?"
"You'll be okay you have other friends"
"Yeah but they're not Ana, like yeah I got other friends but let's be real right now; Ana is my best best friend and my favorite. And I'm going to be so lonely without her at work with me"
"You can FaceTime her"
"Matt honey it's not the same, I love being with my best friend physically she makes me less bored when you're doing whatever, and now I'm over thinking a lot"
"What are you over thinking about?"
"Like what if I get lost with my character because I'm distracted by so much and Ana won't be there and it's gonna mess up our story line because Kiera just had to break her nose"
"It's not her fault, it was probably miscommunication"
"Matt please, they have in real life beef not just on tv"
"Oh yeah I forgot about that"
"But thanks baby for helping, I'm going to go FaceTime Ana" she says kissing my head going to the room
I pick up her plate putting it in the fridge to save her food for later, I wash her fork putting it in the dish drainer then I walk over to the couch sitting next to a sleeping Carolina.
I put the covers over her whispering to her "don't be a professional wrestler it's too stressful, but go for it if you want to."
I lean back on the couch turning the tv on at low volume so I don't wake up Carolina, I flip through channels but stop at one that looks interesting;
"Love Island? Why not" I say as I put the remote on the table
After like 30 minutes Renee comes back downstairs"what you watching?"
"Love island"
"You watching love island?" She chuckles
"I don't know it's ok, it's just something random I found"
She sits on the seat that was next to me so she can watch tv with me, I look over at her
"Is Ana ok?"
"Yeah she's at home with Dante and Adonis"
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine"
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm just gonna be missing Ana at work and I know she can't go because if her and Kiera see each other they're gonna fight again"
"True"
"She can't fight Kiera but I can, I have an idea for Tony Khan"
"Oh boy" was all I said before looking back at the tv "we better start praying for her"
"Yes that is a good idea and I'll break her nose while I'm at it and see how she likes it"
"Baby"
"Fine I won't break her nose intentionally"
"Babe"
"Fine I'll be a safe worker for her"
"Good now go finish eating since you talked to Ana"
"Yes daddy" she says as she walked to the kitchen
