Viv Pov
I sat down at a table and shortly after Ana sat with me "hey!" She says as I smile at her.
"Well you found me quickly"
"Girl you know Isla and I can spot you a mile away"
I smile as I poke my 'niece's' little chubby cheeks "she looks so much like Eddie"
"I know, she looks more like him everyday" Ana says as Isla walks over to my side and crawls up my lap
We talk as Eddie comes over to the table almost falling so he sits down quickly and he points at Ana and I "don't laugh"
Ana looks over at Eddie and lets out a small giggle; they're so cute together it makes my heart smile.
Ana turns to me "Nick asked about you"
"Is he gonna be here?"
"Yeah he's on his way here" Ana says poking my side teasing me
I smack her hand away playing around which makes Isla giggle, I smile getting up holding Isla "she's mine until Monday" I say blowing a raspberry
"That's fine" Eddie says sitting more closer to Ana
I walk away carrying Isla "Untle Nick!"
"Hm?" I ask looking at her
She points as Nick walks over to us smiling making my face turn a bright pink like always
"Hey"
"Hey" I say shyly
"Where's Ana?"
"With Eddie"
"Eh she can wait, so what's new with you? Haven't seen you since we was 15 and 16" Nick asks me
"Nothing much really just been getting side jobs here and there and spending time with Isla"
Nick smiles "maybe you wanna hang out sometime so we can catch up?"
"I'd love that, so is it a date?"
"Gotta go Christian needs me" he said with his stupid smirk and shrug walking away.
"Sometimes Isla I don't get your uncle"
She shrugs agreeing as I let out a small chuckle, I've always had a little crush on him since him, Ana, and I was younger; he always had somewhat girlfriends and I was always stuck chasing him, that hurts. Is he finally mine?
I walk to the catering table "ok what we want lala"
"Grapes duhh"
"Oh silly me how could I forget" I say as we both giggle
I make us both a plate and I sit her down on a crate handing her the plate while mine is on the crate as I stand with her.
She picks up a Grape "tt why so cold in cigo(Chicago)"
"Nobody knows lala maybe Mother Nature wanted Chicago to look pretty for Christmas"
"An I mate noman"
"Yes lala me and you can make snow men"
She giggles as she eats her grape.
We continue to eat until our plates are empty then we decide to take a little walk to the corner store to get a snack that she'll like. I walk in still holding her as I see Matt Menard; of course I think to myself.
He walks up to me leaning on the shelf trying to look cool "hey Viv"
"Hello Matt" I roll my eyes playing
"So what's up with you"
"Ew no bye-"
"She has date" Isla says cutting me off leaning on me
Matt and I both looked at her "yeah I do"
"If you want a real man you know where to find me" he says walking back to where he was
"Isla!" I whisper yell laughing
"He had coming" she giggles back
I took her to the snack isle as we both got our M&Ms and Sour Patch Kids and matching Cranberry Juices then I paid for it leaving after. When we make it back to the arena her and I sat at the table we usually sit at with our stuff out on the table.
"What you want to do tomorrow Lala"
"Hmmm, how bout nails"
"Ooooo yes we can get our nails done that'll be fun" I smile
*skip to later that night*
Nick came up to us after his match "hey"
"Hey Nick"
"Give me a second I'll change then we can go hang out"
"I didn't.."
"Too bad we're hanging out" he says flirtatiously as he walks to his locker room
Isla and I babble back and forth to eachother while we wait for Nick to come back, I love when I have Isla with me it's so much fun. When I'm older I'll definitely have kids of my own.
Nick came over to us "hey ready to go?"
"Yeah I'll let Ana know" I say opening the first pinned message on iMessage;
[hey Nana imma leave with Isla rn]
[ok later tn just come to my room to get her bags]
[I will love you]
I head out with Nick to his car and I pull down my Lock Screen to see if I got a notification and I did; Nana💘 loved your message.
I smile as I get Isla buckled up then buckling myself up;
"You hungry?"
"I just ate I'm good, you hungry lala?"
She nods "kids meal"
"Alright we'll stop at Chick fil-a
*skip to the hotel*
We walk into my room and I set Isla on the bed as Nick locks the door, I take off Isla's shoes and her coat putting them on the chair by her suitcase.
"Here Bub" Nick says handing Isla her kids meal
I sit her back on the bed so she doesn't fall then putting a towel over her legs so she doesn't get the bed messy, I sit next to her as we start eating together which makes Nick take a picture of us.
After we finish eating I give Isla a bath then put her into bed to sleep as I tuck her in to make sure she's warm, I got to the bathroom taking a quick shower doing my routine "hey Nick can I ask you something?"
"Yeah what's up?" He asks standing by the door leaning on it
"Is it going to be a date or not?"
"Maybe" I say walking back to the bed
"Nick?"
"What Vivvvvvv" I said in a joking tone
"Is it?"
I was quiet which gave away my answer making our faces turn a bright red color.
We both settled down into bed; I slept in one bed and she shared the other one with Isla.
*next day*
We all got dressed doing our morning routine then heading to the closest smoothie place to have our little 'date' with Isla is tagging along.
"Y'all can go sit down I'll get the order, what do you guys want?"
"I'll take Mango and Isla will take Strawberry Banana" she says as Isla nods a lot to agree
I go to the register "2 Mango smoothies and 1 Strawberry Banana smoothie"
"$32.50" the worker says
I pay with my card waiting for the smoothies to be done I stand aside and look at Isla and Viv to see them watching YouTube together making me smile. I get our smoothies sitting down handing the girls theirs;
"What she watching?"
"Eddie Kingston" Viv says
"What if she goes to the park and back fists someone?"
"Nick help-" she says laughing
I laugh "just wondering"
"So Viv what you been up to?"
"Nothing really just been working on myself and traveling with Ana and Eddie so I can see Isla"
"You ever wanna wrestle?"
"I wish, I gotta wait for a year but for now I guess it's living on the road with Ana and Eddie"
"You ever feel left out or the third wheel with them?"
"No I love it, they always make me feel included plus I got Isla which makes it more fun"
We stayed at the smoothie shop for a little bit then decided to go back to the hotel since it's cold here, I put Isla down on the floor and lock the door sitting down with Viv after.
"Untle Nick snow!" Isla yells excited
"It's snowing again" I smile at her
"No man"
"Yes we can make snowmen together tomorrow"
I look over at Viv to see her face change from a happy look to concerned look so I move closer to her "what's wrong?"
She tuned her phone to me so she doesn't say it out loud and it's a text from Ana;
[hey V, imma need you to keep Isla a little longer]
[why what's up]
[Eddie hurt his back again wrestling and he's gonna get checked out again and I don't want Isla to see him go thru this]
[you got it and I hope he's ok I love you Nana🩵]
Nana💘 loved your message.
"Oh shit, um I can stay with you for awhile to help with Isla"
"Please Nick imma need it" she says stressed
I give Isla her coloring book "color Isla" I say as I take Viv behind the wall to talk
Not even 5 seconds later Isla comes over to us "you guys kiss?"
"Isla go color" I say as my face turns red
"I jus as Untle Nick"she says as she crawls up the bed to color
"How bad is it?"
"I don't know she didn't say"
She said leaning on me
I lean my head on her head and hug her "don't worry Isla got us she'll be ok I promise"
"Jus kiss" Isla said standing behind me
Viv and I look back and see Isla standing there "go color"
"Evwy time" she says going back to her coloring book
Viv and I look at each other and start laughing
"She is something else" Viv says
"I mean she ain't wrong"
"What you mean Nick?" Viv asks confused
I move closer hugging her leaning down to kiss her, we kiss for a few seconds until you know who interrupts it by yelling "yaaaay!"
Viv and I started laughing out loud at her cute little reaction
"Fine Ly kiss! Yaaaaay!" Isla says louder
We both laugh "Isla shhhh" I chuckle
"Untle Nick we make no man now?" Isla asks looking over at me
"Ok Isla cmon" I say grabbing her coat as she grabs her boots
I help her get ready while Viv gets herself ready while also getting my stuff for me. When I'm all bundled up we take Isla downstairs outside to a little section to play in the snow. I turn to Viv as Isla plays in the snow "you're my girlfriend now"
She looks at me "who agreed?"
"You did"
"When?"
"Because I said so" I say turning to Isla to watch her
"Come on Untle Nick and tt" Isla says excitedly
I grab Viv's hand and walk to Isla so we can make a snowman together, I start rolling the bottom one as the girls start to make the middle one. We stack the snow man but he's missing a lot so I think to myself what can I use for a nose?
I grab 3 sticks and a few small rocks off the ground; I break the one stick into a small piece for the nose that I let Isla put in, I gave the 2 sticks to Viv to put as the arms, and I put the rocks on the middle snowball for the buttons.
I back up and take a picture of the snowman with the girls in the picture posting it to my Instagram story.
"What you think Isla?" I look down at her
"Love" she says putting her hand on the snowman "but am cold now"
"Cmon lets go inside" I take her hand walking her and Viv back inside the hotel
The first thing we did was make some hot chocolate as Viv got Isla one of her snacks out.
I zone out as the hot chocolate makes; why did it take so long for me to ask her out? She liked me this whole time how did I not notice that?
When the machine dings I hand Isla a small mug with a straw in it so she doesn't spill it, I sit next to her turning on the tv to Bluey for Isla to watch. I move next to Viv putting my arm around her waist "any updates?"
"Nope but I hope we get some soon" she says worried
