"Just some of the renovations we had done. Adds a bit of color, don't you think?" Dad points his cane at him. Alastor's cane is better. It is cooler.
"And you are?" Alastor goes into the shadows and appears right behind our dad.
"Alastor. A pleasure to be meeting you, sir. Quite a pleasure." He shakes my dad's cane then wipes his hand on his coat. I smirked. "It's nice to finally put a face to the name. You are much shorter in real life."I giggle as I glance at my dad and then at Charlie; we are much taller than him.
"Who is this? Who is this nut? Are you the bellhop?" I laugh some more and Dad sends me a soft smile.
"Aha! No! I am the host of the hotel. You might have heard of me from my radio broadcast."
"Hmm, nope! I guess that's why Charlie and Y/n called it the Has-been Hotel, ahaha."
"Ha ha ha. It was actually my idea."
"Ahaha. Well, it's not very clever."
"Ha ha! Fuck you." I cringe at Alastor's tone. He rarely swears. You can even hear his radio effect disappear. Alastor and Lucifers are very close to fighting, but Charlie gets in the way. Man, I would've placed bets.
"Okay! Okay, anyway. Dad, look at this lovely parlor where people can get to know each other and share secrets and stories, and intimate feelings! Without Alastor, we wouldn't have been able to pretty it up this much."
"Charlie and Y/n have a very unique vision. I am happy to fulfill their bizarre requests Y/n specifically" My dad's eyes widen and Alastor's hand lands on my shoulder. Dad growls at Alastor.

"Oh, my golly! You like girls? So do I! We have so much in common! You put her there, Maggie. Hey! Oh yeah. She's so pretty." I giggle at him when he hugs Vaggie and messes up her name.
"Lovely to meet you, uh, sir."
"And this is Sir Pentious and Angel Dust, our guests!" Pentious stands and salutes to my dad
"Your Majesty!" He falls back down, and then Angel speaks. I sigh, ready for the very sexual remark.
"Heya short king~" Not as bad as I thought.
"Husk is our bartender, and Niffty is our housekeeper."

Niffty runs over to us and I laugh as she climbs onto Dad and holds his suit.
"Hello. I clean." I turn away and she scurries off. Right before the chandelier falls, a black shadow grabs me, and I'm suddenly in the grip of Alastor. I stare at the place where the chandelier just fell, realizing that I would've died if it weren't for his intervention. My dad looks at Alastor and snarls, wait did Alastor cause it to fall?
Dad then laughs uh oh. "Alright then."
"Haha, looks like you could use some help. From the big boss of Hell himself" Oh fuck, here we go. "Check out Daddy's glowing reviews on Yelp Five stars! Flawless! Greater than great! Alastor appears, and he is right in front of me. "Who's been here since day one? Who's been faithful as a nun?" He became a nun and I smiled. "Makes you chuckle with an old-timey pun, your executive producer."
"That's true!" I spoke.
"I'm your guy, your day-to-day, Your chum, your steadfast hotelier Remember when I fixed that clog today?"
"I was stuck, thank you, sir!" Aww, he pulled Niffty out of the toilet.

"I'm truly honored that we've built such a bond" I smiled. "You're like the child that I wish that I had" Wait what?

"It's a little funny, you could almost call me dad..."Dad angrily plays the fiddle while Alastor plays the piano. Then Dad switches to an accordion. When did he become a musician? "They say when you're looking for assistance. It's smart to pick the path of least resistance"

"Listen, I was in the neighborhood. I heard you were staying at this ritzy slob factory, and I figured I'd stop by, say hi! For old time's sake."
"Of course, sweetheart! Everyone is welcome here!"
"Oh, how nice!" I flashed a fake smile. "So you two know each other?"
"Oh yeah, we go way back, ran in the same circles when we were alive. You know, this one used to frequent the club where I used to perform. He's the only one I knew who could pound whiskey like a sailor, then keep up with me on the dance floor!" Alastor... drinking whisky? Okay, I need to see that.
"Oh, quite a talent, this gal. Ho ho! You should have seen her in her heyday!"
"Hey, watch it, tall, dark, and creepy! I'm still in my prime!" She then finds my dad looking bored. "Oh, oh my stars! Is that Lucifer? Move it! Pleased to meet ya! Your Highness. Alastor, you gotta warn a girl when she's in mixed company!"
"Charmed, I'm sure."
"As much as I'd love to catch up, Charlie, Y/n, and I have a tour to continue." Dad takes my arm and Charlie's
"I'm sure Charlie and Y/n can handle showing me around." Alastor appears in front of us and grabs us.
"Nonsense! We started the hotel together, and we'll show it off together. Right, love?" He turned to look at me and my face flushed. He smirked at my reaction while I tried to avoid eye contact.
"Oh, right? Love," I said back. Maybe pissing my dad off would be fun. The atmosphere suddenly turned icy with my dad's icy glares directed toward us, particularly at Alastor. My dad seemed to be bothered because Alastor had his hands on his daughter. Well, Dad, I'm an adult. I could see the disapproving look on his face and could almost sense his thoughts. The tension in the air was palpable. How pissed my father would be if he would know Alastor was dating me!
"Why don't you let the others help you settle in? I'll be back before you know it." He turns to Mimzy, then back to me, and wraps his arm around my shoulder as we walk.
