Lillie started just now to be happy without Mattheo close to her. She got herself a new friend, Jamie his name was.
He looked cool.
The girl would spend most of her time in her room, or with her friends but still far, far away from Mattheo and madeleine.
Lillie wasn't sure If he and madeleine were exclusive but it looked like it. She wasn't jealous but still she felt her blood boil when the other girl would run her fingers down his arm or when he would smile at what she said.
She would look at them or listen to their conversations, and she couldn't help it but miss Mattheo. Even if she tried with all her heart and soul not to care, she still seemed to miss his company, his voice, his touch and his beautiful face.
The trip that started of perfectly fine, was now getting worse for the girl.
She spend her nights having the same nightmare and still waking up in the middle of the night.
It was now Thursday and she joined Jamie at the restaurant. She decided to wear the white bikini that Mattheo loved much.
He used to say that it turned him on. But she didn't care anyways. She couldn't. Right? She wore a light blue tank top with white shorts over it.
He smiled as she approached him. They had planned to go to the beach and hang out. "Can we go sunshine?" She cringed at the nickname.
"Yes but-uh please don't call me sunshine J" she pleaded.
He laughed awkwardly and nodded, before walking along with her.
"So L, I have to tell you one thing." He said, staring at her.
She smiles softly at him. "What is it?"
"Well-I-I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date tonight because I-I-really like you and if you wont it's okay" he nervously stated.
Lillie felt a little nervous. "Oh hum—I like you, I really like you J" she begun.
"I feel like there's a but following" he mumbled.
"But I-I like someone else" she finished.
Jamie realized. "Mattheo"
The girls eyes widened. How did he know?
"H-w- how did you—" he interrupted her, "I see the way you look at him, and I know some things from your friends" he sighed.
"I know that you two used to be really, like really really close and I see that you love him, actually everyone can see it, it's sorta obvious" his words sank in the girls brain.
Right now the only thing she wanted to do was run into Mattheo's arm. But she couldn't do that since he had replaced her with a taller and prettier version of her.
So at the end of the day, she went to her room and had a girls night with her friends. they watched mean girls and snacked while they talked.
