The sound of a blaring alarm reached my ears and I started groaning and ready for getting up.
I was the one who set the alarm because I wanted to get up early and cook food for Atharva.
And I looked from the other side and saw that my husband was sleeping comfortably on his stomach
And he slightly pout while sleeping, And I started getting up from bed but, I felt pain between my legs.
And everything from last night came to my mind , I bite my lips and look at atharva
I gathered my courage and got up from the bed and went towards the bathroom to take a bath.
And as soon as I reached there, I remembered how Atharva helped me make up last night and how lovingly he treated me
After showering for some time, I came out and saw that Atharva was still sleeping and I was standing in front of the mirror and started getting ready
After wearing the saree, I was drying my hair and suddenly I felt that someone was standing behind me
I saw from the mirror that Atharva was standing behind me and he was also looking at me through the mirror
He was looking at my neck through the mirror and he came closer to me and it seemed as if my heartbeat had stopped by this
Atharva placed his chin on my shoulder and hugged me from behind and he said
" Ruhi , why didn't you wear mangalsutra on the first day of marriage "
At first I got confused and started looking at him through the mirror, then suddenly I remembered what had happened and I turned towards him and looked into his eyes
I bite my lips and said " It's not like that, I was wearing it but it fell in the middle "
He looked at me in confusion and said " what Middle ?? "
I bite my lips , I was not able to understand how to tell him
Atharv pulled me towards him and said, " I asked you something Ruhi, answer me , what middle ?"
My face turn red , I moved a back a little and motioned my inder finger towards my cleavage
At first Atharva got confused, he looked into my eyes and started laughing , when he understands
Atharva took a step towards me and I took a step back and he again held me by the waist and suddenly he opened my mangalsutra and fell into the my cleavage
He said with a smirked plaster on his lips " I want to see how it fell, just nothing else "
My eyes widen, what he just did?
I was feeling very shy and I covered myself with my hand and pushed him away and said " Hattiyaa aur quickly take a bath and I am going to cook food"
And without hearing anything I ran all the way there and I quickly took out my mangalsutra and wore it and I hear his chuckle
I took a deep breath and a smile appeared on my face and I was going towards the kitchen when I met Abhinav and he stop and asked me
" What happened bhabhi sa , why are you limping like this, is everything okay? "
I'm turning more red , I was not able to understand what answer to give, so I made an excuse
" Nothing, my knee hit the bed while coming down. "
I think i heard him saying " I know everything about whose knees have hit with whom. "
But ignoring his words, I went further inside the kitchen and as soon as I entered the kitchen, I caught my breath
And I saw that maids were doing their own chores and maa had already cooked the food
I also started cooking and I came to know that Atharva does not like to eat sweets in the morning at all, so I was preparing something else for breakfast
I prepared bajra roti with lahsun chutney and kachori, I had made all this with great effort and I had no idea how it was made.
I was about to taste it when I saw that Atharva was coming downstairs, so without tasting time , I took the food and reached the dining table
Everyone was sitting at the dining table and they were a little surprised to see Atharva. He looked at me and I nodded
Everyone gasped when he pulled out a chair and sat down to eat with everyone
Grandfather smiled and said " Today it feels very good that you are sitting with us and having breakfast "
Atharva nod, maa looks happy too and Myra said " Bhaiya, you are very welcome, we are really very happy to have breakfast with u today. "
Abhinav and Rohan looked at each other and smiled , And Atharva's father was also happy And really it was very good that everyone was so happy and mother said
" let's eat quickly otherwise the food will gets cold "
I started serving him the food I had prepared for Atharav and Atharva had not uttered a single word yet
And Atharva suddenly said " ruhi , jra mujhe bhi chai Dena "
( Ruhi , give me tea too )
I looked at him and then at maa and I told him " chai humne nhi bnai "
( I didn't prepare tea )
He replied without looking at me " janta hu , par mujhe chai peeni hai "
( I know , i want to drink tea )
A huge smile appeared on maa's face and she passed me tea and I served tea to Atharva
I knew Atharva knew that this tea was made by maa and today was really a very good day everyone started smiling after seeing this
And atharva father said " It's really a great day to see everyone together. "
After that everyone was eating peacefully, only the sound of the spoon was coming.
Atharva suddenly started coughing and he took a glass of water and drank it.
And I got worried and asked him " are you okay ?? "
and he nods
I was about to turn and leave and atharva caught hold of my wrist and made me sit on the chair with force
" Tum kaha ja Rahi ho, khana Khao chup chap " ( Where are you going? Eat your food quietly.)
But really I was not hungry and I told him " I am not hungry, I will eat later "
And everyone was looking at me and Abhinav said " yes Bhabhi sa, eat food, you really don't eat food at all "
Before I could say anything, Atharva said, " Apni kamar dekhi hai kitni patli hai , Acha sa khaya peya kro "
( have you seen your waist, how thin is it, eat and drink properly)
I knew that Atharva's intention was not wrong but there was a teasing smile on every one face, especially Abhinav's
I sat on the chair and, as soon as I started serving the food which I had prepared myself, atharva grabbed my wrist and said
" you eat something else, this is for me "
I was confused after seeing this but I let it go and started eating the food maa had prepared.
Suddenly i noticed something and i asked abhinav
" Abhinav, where is kaka sa and kaki ? " He swallow his bite but instant of him Myra said
" Bhabhi sa , mom dad went to Village, as one of my mom's relative daughter is getting married and they are helping them ,as they are not financially good so ,.... I think they will come after a month after every thing is done "
I nodded , but I looked at atharva, he was not looking well his eyes were red either he was emotional or food is not good
Then sometimes later grandpa said " listen everyone , manvi and her step daughter will stay with us from now on , any of you have any problem"
I looked at atharva and he shook his head as no , everyone did the same thing
After some time, everyone had finished eating and the maids were picking up plates and Atharva got up from his chair and looking at Rohan he said,
" Rohan, we both will go to the office together today, wait, I brought my files from my room "
He went to his room to get the files and Rohan was looking surprised but not only Rohan but everyone was looking surprised as to what just happened
And myra said, "what happened to Bhaiya, how did he become so good all of a sudden?? "
Abhinav replied," Oh, it's all the influence of Bhabhisa, Bhaiya, change was bound to happen "
And all these kid started teasing me, And I was looking at Rohan, there was a smile on his face ,he was so happy from inside
And one Kachori was left so I thought why not taste it and see why Atharva was behaving like this and as soon as I took the first bite, my mouth got burnt because there was too much chilli in this Kachori
I suddenly started coughing and maa asked me " what happened beta ? "
Rohan came quickly and gave water to me and I drank it all in one gulp and I looked at them with tears in my eyes and said
" The food was very spicy and Atharva ate it "
Myra gasp and abhinav said " bahiya doesn't like sweets but he can't even eat spicy. What happened to bhaiya suddenly ? "
Maa aslo look concerned and grandpa said " ruhi , Go and check Atharva whether he is okay or not. "
I mouth is really burning too much
And I went back to the room and I was scolding myself that I did not check even once before giving it to him and Atharva is such an idiot that he ate everything without saying anything
As soon as I reached the room, Atharva was searching for files and I went near him, I held his biceps and turned him, his eyes were red
I took a painful gulp and held his both cheeks in my hands. He was looking at me in confusion and I said
" I'm really sorry, Agar khana itna theekha tha toh kya jarurat thi khana ki "
( if the food was so spicy then what was the need to eat)
He smile a little and said " don't worry, I'm totally fine , aur farak nhi padhta khana theekha tha ya nhi , tumne bnaya tha Mera lia yahi kafi hai "
( It doesn't matter whether the food was spicy or not, it's enough that you prepared it for me.)
I had tears in my eyes after hearing this and I asked him
" Asa kabhi bhi maat karna , mujhe farak padhta hai , Atharva "
( Don't ever do this, I care ,Atharva.)
I still had his cheeks in my hand, I don't know what happened and I kissed him
Crossing my arms around his neck
And he held my waist with both hands and pulled me towards him and he started kissing me back.
And to be honest, I tasted the spiciness through kiss and found that it was actually much spicier than i thought
And I was feeling that burning sensation in my lips too. I thought how much pain he must have suffered
And we broke that kiss and he looked at me and said " if I get to kiss like this everyday, I have no objection to eating spicy food "
And I was looking at him again in worried and he said " Don't worry I am absolutely fine let me go Rohan will be waiting for me "
I nodded , and he went away from there, And really, I have never felt more guilty than this in my life.
But why am I feeling like this ? Apart from being in guilt, there was something else in my heart which I was not able to understand
I placed my hand on my chest and my heart was beating fast and I could not understand what was really happening to me
