Corrupted, abused, betrayed, used, manipulated....

—these were the marks that life had etched upon her. The girl who had once known innocence had been thrust into a world of darkness, her mind eroded until it resembled a void, devoid of human qualities except for one: fear.

Fear that gripped her tightly, an ever-present reminder of the horrors she had endured. Life had dealt her a cruel hand, leaving her scared of existence itself.

Scared of living, scared of humans.

She had witnessed the depravity of human nature, the monsters that lurked beneath the veneer of humanity. Children, once pure and untouched, were tainted by the world as they grew, becoming the very beings they once feared. But for her, that transformation had taken on a twisted form. Her infant mind had fixated on the monstrous aspects of humans, a belief that every person was a potential threat, regardless of appearances.

If her life were an experiment, she would be the result of funneling every ounce of darkness into one vessel—a living embodiment of the depths of human cruelty.

She was a demon, feared by humans, and in return, she feared them.

But who was she? The girl who never felt like she truly belonged in the world of humans.

The girl with the heart of Satan, the beauty of an angel, and the power of a god.

"L/n... Y/n L/n..."

Her body twitched at the sound of his cold voice slicing through the air, its echoes lingering in the luxurious made room, where the darkness and prickling coldness seemed to caress her skin like a early morning mist.

"It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? From today on, you'll go by that name." His scarlet eyes pierced through her, demanding acknowledgment. She gazed back, her own azure eyes locking onto his, a hint of fear buried beneath a mask of calm.

"L/n?" Elise's voice chimed in, breaking the tension. "I like that name! It suits Y/n-chan!" The cute blond girl beside her exclaimed, her attention mostly devoted to her drawing on the tiles.

"Aaaaah, I'm glad you think so, Elise-chan!" Mori's tone was almost singsong. Despite his seemingly charming demeanor, there was something unsettling beneath the surface, something those who truly knew him understood.

The girl hummed as she dragged a piece of chalk roughly on the floor, almost breaking it in half.
" Oh Elise-chan~ What are you drawing....?"The man leaned forward on the chair to get a better look of what the little blond he adore so much, was drawing. The sent of medicine and luxury perfume entered on to Y/n's nostrils because of the close proximity, making her wanting to crawl backward to the darkness in the back of the room.

No need to say, she absolutely despised that sent. As he watched the girl beside Y/n draw with admiring smile, Y/n's eyes also flicked towards Elise's drawing, her expression instantly shifting. Horror, disgust, fascination—it was hard to define her emotions as she took in the grotesque scene depicted on the floor. A massacre in chalk, drawn by innocent hands, an incongruity that chilled her to the bone as it stirred up the memories she tried to burry so much. Y/n's little hands clenched the hem of her dress, as she moved her eyes away from the horrid drawing the girl made.

Just then, the double wooden door opened slowly with a slight creak, the light from the corridor seeping through, brightening up the room. A figure stepped into the room, letting the candlelight illuminate his features as the door clicked shut behind him.

"There you are, Dazai-kun! I've been waiting for you." Averting his eyes from the girl's drawing, the mafia boss sent his usual meaningless smile towards the new guest of the room, adjusting his sitting posture on the chair properly. He seemed to be a teenager, quite tall and slim for his age with slightly messy chestnut locks, some gathered in his forehead.

For you, his dark brown deep abyss of eyes and the bandages that peeked out of his clothes were the most striking about him.

"Wha...t is it, Mori-san...?" The brunette stifled a yawn, rubbing his eyes tiredly and slumping his hands down into his coat pockets right after. The man intertwined his fingers, resting his elbows on the shiny mahogany tabletop.

"I really wouldn't have bothered you, Dazai-kun, since you must be really tired from the mission you had. But you see, this is kind of an important matter." Dazai raised his eyebrows questioningly at his boss, briefly connecting his eyes with you, who was sitting in the dim light beside Elise, before swiftly turning them back to the mafia head. That mere second was enough for something to click between you two—an indescribable feeling that started to grow inside your chest, something almost like evoking familiarity. You glued your eyes to the boy, trying to figure out the feeling his presence stirred within you.

"I don't really mind, as long as it's going to be over soon." Dazai stretched his hands above his head, stifling another yawn.

"Well, it's not your lucky day; this might take some time. Why don't you come and sit down?" Mori's mocking smile accompanied his words.

"Eeeeh...?" Dazai lazily walked toward the chair with a sulking expression, slumping onto it right after. "Dazai-kun, I think you might have guessed this by now, that this is a matter regarding her." The boy sent a bored look at his boss.

"Nope, I thought you had started collecting little girls to begin a 'Girls under 12 to bring my creepy fantasies to reality' collection."

"Dazai-kunnnn, be serious, will you!" The black-haired man whined before continuing, "But that idea doesn't sound that bad..."

"Ew...." Dazai cringed, muttering to himself. But he could feel the atmosphere change and he knew it wasn't the time to fool around. His boss's demeanor can switch withing a mere second in a terrifying way. He was very much accustomed to that luckily for him.

"Dazai-kun, I believe you've noticed something distinctive about her, haven't you?" Mori's scarlet eyes bore into Dazai's dark abyss of brown. Dazai's expression was phlegmatic, yet a glint of curiosity danced within his tired eyes. Her appearance was definitely something that will pique one's interest. Especially her diamond like bright blue eyes and strikingly white hair. Overall she looked petit and delicate like a porcelain doll.

"Y/n-chan, could you please come here for a moment?" The man's voice was sickeningly gentle as he beckoned to the petite, white-haired girl. She rose from her seat almost mechanically and moved towards him, but Dazai couldn't help but notice the subtle trembling in her demeanor. Y/n was acutely aware of Mori's hand resting lightly on her waist, applying a slight but undeniable pressure. Her eyes were wide almost looking petrified. Dazai almost pitied her, because he saw himself in the exact same situation a few years back.

"I bet u r familiar with the Jujutsu community." The brunette's eyes narrowed at the words but he smiled. That was the clue he needed. Yet he took a moment to size up Y/n, his scrutiny almost tangible.

"I see...." He closed his eyes with a slight flat smile as if he came into realization. Mori chuckled in amusement.

"Eeeh Dazai-kun..... Have you already figured it out? Come on......I was even excited to tell you the story!" He whined like a child while Y/n was left far beyond confused.

"Too bad, it was just too obvious Mori-san." The brunette said shaking his head in mock disappointment.

"Did you forget that I have connections with the black market, even with the deepest and darkest parts of it, almost as much as you?" he continued, and Y/n could've sworn that she felt like she was looking at a copy of the man she feared so much.

"If I'm correct, she's the second to hold the powers call limitless and six eyes. Seen those eyes wanted in black market for quite the price. Don't know much about these powers, cuz those jujutsu clans are so secretive about them. All I know is that they are godly powers connected with the universe to a dangerous extent. Also explains the strange phenomina that happened.....if I'm correct, ten years ago that has to be her age." Rui's breath caught in her throat, as if his words had given voice to the shadows that clung to her existence. Dazai's observation was keen, his perception sharper than she had expected. She shifted slightly, a mixture of discomfort and intrigue twisting within her. The black-haired man matched Dazai's smile.

"Correct. And I'm curious Dazai-kun, why do you think that phenomena is connected with her?"

"On that day every quirk, ability, curse and jujutsu user felt it. Including me. That's when I was sure that it wasn't a work of an ability or quirk. It's something far more complicated, something belong to the jujutsu community the only power that no longer human can't affect. I wouldn't have felt it like everyone else did otherwise. My guess is that she broke the balance of the world when she was born."

"You're right, Dazai-kun. I can't say I'm impressed cuz I expected nothing less from you," Mori's voice resonated with an undercurrent of significance.

"But here's the real question, if she's that much of a threat to the balance of our world that gifted with the existence of powers, do you think it is a good idea to keep her alive? Her clan had many plans for her despite her single handedly being one that could lead our world into dust."

Both of the men in the room had their eyes piercing on to her like cold sharp blades. She stood there like a statue, as her body felt numb unable to function. Y/n wasn't sure if she was breathing or not. She felt as if all the cruel men she had to face including her own father were mere clowns comparing to them. The sinisterity that she felt radiating from them was blacker than the darkest black. She couldn't help but feel like a pawn in their game, a mere tool to be used and discarded at their whim.

"It's amusing how the Gojo clan represent them as such high beings that could take over the world, but at the end of the day, they're just clinging to her power like desperate leeches. Pathetic, really, I almost pitied them" Mori shook his head with a smirk, his eyes closing to retrace the image of half of the Gojo clan's tattered lifeless bodies around a little girl. When he opened his eyes again, the blood red color of his irises had an excited glint. "Oh what a sight it was! Dazai-kun, they're true intentions are really something, you would be surprised"

Dazai leaned back in his chair with a smirk, his nonchalant demeanor in stark contrast to the gravity of the situation.

"Do tell, Mori-san. I'm always up for an interesting story."

As Y/n stepped out of the room, she breathed a sigh of relief, glad to escape the suffocating atmosphere that had enveloped her inside. She glanced back at Mori and Elise before the door slowly closed, blocking them from view.

"She's all yours now, Dazai-kun. I trust you'll bring out her true potential,"

Mori's voice echoed in her mind as she walked alongside the brown-haired boy. It felt like she had a new guardian, and despite her initial apprehension, she welcomed the change. Being away from Mori's presence was a relief, and she couldn't help but feel a flicker of curiosity about Dazai.
Sensing her intense gaze, Dazai turned around, his expression a mix of confusion and amusement. Y/n almost collided with him as he suddenly stopped, but he just chuckled and gave her an eyes closed smile.

"Stop being so tense will you? Mori-san's not gonna bother with you any more and also this is gonna be your new home." he said, extending his bandaged hand towards her. She hesitated for a moment before tentatively reaching out, feeling the chill of his touch as their hands met. His smile widened like a child, and for a moment, the sinister aura surrounding him seemed to dissipate.

"You're adorable, Y/n-chan! I'm almost afraid Ane-san will steal you away," he joked, gently tugging her along as they walked through the hallways, "Come on!! I gotta show you to chibi, he's the same size as you I think-"

As he excitedly started rambling, Y/n was left confused but she strangely couldn't feel the cold anymore.

Little did they both knew that day, that they are gonna become the each other's light, but they were the darkness themselves.........
