I stay in the shadows.
I watch as you interact with others, and I can't help but wonder why I couldn't be normal like them.
I could never build up the courage to just get up and talk to people like you did.
I guess that was the difference between you and me.
You were always the sunshine, which people looked forward to, while I was the storm, which people hated.
What they didn't know was that I tried my best. I did, but sometimes that's not enough.
But you made it better; you made me smile on my worst days and forget about the world outside.
It's just like they say, there was before you, during you, but I just never thought that there would be an after you...
