I put my phone away, still laughing from the chat with Callie, Ashley, and Sam. Just as I was about to get up to grab my favorite book, my phone started buzzing. It was a FaceTime call from Montana Jordan.
"Hey, Cece!" Montana greeted cheerfully.
"Hey there! What's going on?" I asked.
Montana explained that the producers couldn't reach me, so they asked him to tell me that a new person would be joining us for the next season. He is our age and plays my new love interest since Georgie and Stella broke up. He said that I'll get an email with more details.
"Sounds interesting! Do you know who's playing the role?" I inquired.
"I forgot his name... Something with M, maybe Miles? But it should be in the email. His character's name is Francis, though." Montana replied.
"Okay, got it. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm good! But I gotta go now. Text you later, okay?" Montana smiled.
"Sure thing! Have fun, Montana! See you later!" I waved as we ended the call.
I went downstairs to the kitchen to grab my laptop. Dad was cooking something.
"Hey, Dad, what are you cooking?" I asked.
"Just making some simple spaghetti!" he replied with a smile.
I sat down at the kitchen counter and opened my laptop to check my emails, where I found one from the producers of Young Sheldon.

Hello Cecelia,
I hope you're doing well. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach you directly, but I trust that Montana has informed you.
You're probably aware of the ups and downs in Georgie and Stella's relationship, especially with Mandy's pregnancy news. Despite briefly reconciling, they've decided to part ways again. Now, we're introducing a new character named Francis. He's the new neighbor, a sporty and charming guy. Stella and Francis will become close friends, and there's potential for their relationship to develop, though we're still working out the details.

"Milo Manheim. I think I know that name," I murmured to myself. Turning to my dad, I asked, "Dad, have you heard of Milo Manheim?"
"Milo Manheim... Hmm... Yes, I remember him. He was in a movie with Patrick - 'Thanksgiving.' He's a really nice guy. Why do you ask?" Dad replied.
"Just got an email from Susan. She mentioned that Milo will be playing Stella's new love interest in Young Sheldon," I explained.
"That's fantastic news! I'm happy for you!" Dad said with a smile.
I returned to my room. Grabbing my phone, I messaged my friend group again.

It was around 8 pm. I sat on my sofa in my room, reading a romance book, my favorite genre. I've only had two relationships in my life. The first was with Joshua, who was really nice, but it ended after about a year because of our busy lives and the attention from the media. Then there was Noah, who I had more of a casual thing with. He's the brother of my ex-friend Kat, our friendship ended because she used me for fame and because of my dad. That's also why my thing with Noah ended - he suddenly turned toxic and rude. It all happened just a year ago.
Since then, I've been scared to start another relationship, worried that I'll be used again. So, I've been focusing on my friends and work.
I wonder how things will go with Milo. We haven't reached out to each other yet. Will we become friends, or what if we don't get along?
After putting my book away, I scrolled through Instagram, liking and commenting on my friends' pictures. Eventually, I closed the app and started texting with my friends.
