Next Day
Emilie wakes up, checks out the phone, and sees the message from Dave:
- Good morning, be carryfull.
She smiles and gets out of the bed. Washes her face, takes her clothes on and goes downstairs to hall. Says to her mom:
- Good morning.
Rose says:
- Good morning sweety. Why are you so late again?
Emilie says:
- No I'm not.
Rose says:
- Yes you are, you have no time for breakfast now.
Emilie says:
- Ah come on mom, I'll eat at school.
Rose with a bit mad voice:
- No you will not.
School bus honks. Emilie says:
- Ok I have to go, love yo.
Rose yells and brings a sanwich:
- Take this sandwich!
Emilie grabs it, Rose gives her a kiss and she goes out. While she walks on driveway to bus she remembered about what Dave said. She looked to that audi that she have seen last night but no, that wasn't there anymore. And she takes a deep breath, thinks "ok that was probably our neighbours car, as I expected". She jumps in to bus, waves to her mom who stands at the door. Sits next to Jamie as always, and they drive away. And right when her mom was going to go inside, that black audi appears again and drove right behind the bus. Roses face got a little bit woried, takes a deep breath and gets in.
Meanwhile in bus Emilie asks:
- What I messed up last night, what I touched that I had not supposed to touch.
Jamie was not that energic this time, and Emilie sees her this serrious for the first time, and Jamie says:
- Yes girl, you touched some messed up shid, but its ok, cause you could never know.
Emilie asks:
- So what exactly was that.
Jamie takes a deep breath and says:
- He experienced the fact that how close and how real the death is, and he experienced that so tragicly.
Emilie got so currious so she asks more:
- Now I got scared to ask you more but, has he lost somebody?
Jamie says:
- Ok girl, I already told you too much. You better ask Dave for more details. Cause I'm sure that you will ask exactly this subject and he will get that I told you these, so....
Emilie with confident tone:
- Ah, no wories, I can figure that out.
Jamie warns her:
- Girl, you better don't underestimate Daves psychoanalitic abilities.
At that moment Emilie recieves a message from Dave:
- Look behind, theres the car I was talking about behind your bus.
Emilie got nervous, turned around and saw nothing, so she waited for a corner, and at some corner she sees that black audi. Jamie got currious after her worried moves and asks her:
- Girl, whats going on?
Emilie startles and answers with voice that tries to be calm:
- Ah.... nothing, just thought that I saw someone.
After that, texts to Dave:
- Yea... you are right. BTW, where the hell you are? Are you following me or smth?
Dave texts back:
- I am everywhere here.
Emilie smiles and texts:
- Do you have connections in FBI or smth?
Dave texts:
- May be...
They arrive, and walk in to school. They see Dave standing next to their class room.
Jamie asks Dave:
- Hey dude, wut up?
Dave says:
- Nice, how about you girls?(looks to Emilie)
Emilie says:
- Yea, we are good too, but i didn't see your car out there in park, are you without car today?
Dave smiles and says:
- Noo just got my moms jeep for today.
Emilie smiles too and says with a confused tone:
- Ouu, there it is! The FBI connection.
Dave says:
- May be.
And Jamie freaks out at that moment and shouts to both of them:
- Ah dammit. Are you guys going to tell me what the hell is going on? What fbi connection you are talking about girl?
Emilie says:
- Ah. Not...
Davie interrupts her:
- Emilie has enemies and now they are following her.
Emily gets mad:
- Dave!
Tries to hit him on his shoulder, and Dave holds her hand, pulls to himself, Emilie got a bit shocked cause she had not expected something like this from him, but internally she also had a weird pleasure to be that close to him. Dave says calmly:
- You better chill girl, theres nothing to hide from us in this case, you better let us know to let us help you in your troubles.
Emilie gets a bit calm and with a tiny smile:
- Yea, you are right, thanks a lot for support.
Bell rings and Jamie behind them says:
- Guys, you better do this romantic stuff at some better time.
They laugh a bit and Emilie says:
- Emmm... Can I have my arm back?
Davie smiles drops her hand by saying:
- Sure!
And at the other side of the corridore Rachel saw all that action.
While Jamie and Emilie are getting to class Jamie asks her:
- Girl! What was that?
Emilie says:
- Dunno and you better dont ask, cause it scares me too.
Jamie laughs.
During the class Emilie texts Dave:
- This weekend?
Dave texts:
- Yea I remember.
Jamie sees their messages and texts to both of them:
- But this time im with you too guys.
They both sent to Jamie smileys.
Break bell rings they got out to schoolyard and Dave found them too, and asked them:
- So where do you girls prefer to go this weekend?
Jamie says:
- It doesn't matter for me guys.
Emily says:
- Actually the place that we have been back in days was nice, but we better go by cable cars.
Dave smiles:
- Ok, sure...
Jamie laughs and says:
- I gues somebody experienced the quad last time.
Emilie says:
- You better dont ask girl.
Suddenly at that moment Rachel comes to them and says with a sneaky smile:
- Hey guys, can I ask you a question?
Girls got shocked, and by not letting them to answer Rachel asks instantly:
- Are you two a couple?
Dave did not answer, and Emilie says:
- Ah, where the hell did you get that?! No,... Just friends.
Rachel says:
- Ah ok, chill girl, just asked, and I can see your hatefull look so wanted to say sorry for the mess that happend. I think we had a misunderstanding, sooo... are we good?
Rachel gives her hand to shake.
Emilie got confused and carryfully gives her hand too by saying:
- Ok...?
Rachel says:
- Oh glad to hear it so.. Dave can I take you for a second?
Dave goes with her by saying:
- Sure.
They make couple steps to side and Emily with quite but mad voice:
- What the hell does she want?
Jamie says by being not aware of the situation:
- Have no idea, but we are gonna find out.
Emilie says:
- You were right girl, this is war, and seems like its not over.
And now Jamie gets it and says with excited voice:
- Shit!!! Are you jealous?
Emilie startles and with a woried voice:
- Ah noo, why I have to. I mean by her side it looks like that. Shit! I mean I'm not jealous, but she thinks may be I am and now she does this.... may bee....
Jamie laughs loudly.
At that moment Dave gets back to them and says:
- So?... are we doing something orr...
Jamie says:
- You better tell us first, what that ponie wants.
Davie says:
- Aah nothing important, asked if I could help her in maths before exams.
Emilie said silently:
- What a b*tch!
Dave asks:
- Excuse me, you told something?
Emilie startles and says:
- Ah nothing, just took a deep breath.
But Jamie heard what she said, and tried to hide her smile.
Emilie says:
- Don't know about you guys but I better go home today, by anyway we are gonna hang out tomorrow. So...
Dave says:
- Ah ok then, see you.
And goes to his car while Jamie and Emilie are getting in to school bus.
In school bus Jamie asks Emilie:
- Hey, girl, would you like to tell me who is your enemy?
Emilie takes a deep breath and says:
- Dont know, my mom is also a bit weird for last two days too. Something is happening but I have no idea what. But also if someone would like to hurt us, they could do it multiple times so far, so seems like there's nothing to worrie about, atleast I hope...
Jamie asks:
- So how you guys noticed this?
Emilie says:
- Dave noticed.
Jamie says:
- Not surprised, his attention to details at some point is scary, but what he noticed?
Emilie says:
- The black audi that's following us now.
Jamie startles and looks behind when bus turns out of a corner, and sees the black audi, and says with worried voice:
- Ovvv, things are serrious. Be carrefull girl.
Emilie arrives home, stops for a second in front of the door and sees that black audi in the reflection of window, gets in after that. Throws her backpack as always, gets in kitchen, turns on the coffee machine takes icecream from freezer, puts couple scoops of it to a large bowl then takes coffee, takes a cup, but then she thinks a little bit, looks at icecream bowl, puts the cup back and pours the coffee to icecream bowl. Goes to couch with bowl, turns on cartoons takes couple spoons of coffee and icecream. Then she thinks a little bit and takes the phone to text Dave:
- Hey W.A.N.S... what are you doing?
Drops the phone. After a while Dave texts back:
- Am I still Wans?
Emilie smiles and texts:
- Not still, now you are more.
Dave texts back:
- Why is that?
Emilie texts:
- Cause how more I get to know you, that more you get weirder. So what are you doing?
Then Dave texts with a picture of his car with no wheels on it at his garage.
- Changing my tires, putting on winter ones.
Emilie laughs and texts:
- Well here's why you are weird. Why the hell are you doing it by yourself, why dont you go to a workshop?
Dave texts:
- Trying to deserve the nick that you gave to me. Trying to be as weird as possible.
Emilie obviously laughs now and texts back:
- Ok Wans, so you have not told us would you help Rachel or not. Would you?
Dave texts:
- Yea, sure, you know me now, I always would be happy to help someone.
Emilies smile disapeared and has not texted for a while. And then she thinks to herself "what are u doing, why is this is so important to you! Chill!!!" And texts:
- What a helpfull guy you are.
Dave texts back:
- Ahah, thanks.
Rose arrives throws the keys and says with a tired voice:
- Hey honey, I'm home.
Emilie says:
- Hey mom!
But Emilie noticed on her voice that something is messed up. She stands up goes to kitchen too, and asks:
- Mom, whats going on?
Rose says again:
- Ah nothing, day was so exhausting.
Emilie with not satisfied voice:
- Mom, I know that someone is following me.
Rose takes a deep breath:
- So you noticed that too...
Emilie puts her hand to mothers shoulder and says:
- What can anyone want from us? I got, or I hope that this person dont want to hurt us cause if he wanted...
Rose interrupts her:
- No sweety, you are and always were a smart girl, I dont think that this person wants to hurt us, but we still dont know who are they. I actually suspect someone but not sure...
Emilie says:
- Mom, you said that nobody knew that we are here now. Who might it be.
Rose says:
- They are following you, not me. So nobody comes to mind but your father.
Emilie says nothing after that phraze.
