Seriously she is getting to my last nerves.
"Mind telling us what exactly is funny Tamara?" Dom asked, shutting her up.
She pursed her lips, as she pick up her cutlery.

I heave a sigh.
"I am sorry about that my dear" Grayson said. "You get out of here" he said to the maid who spilled the drink on me.
"Sorry Alpha" she said, scurrying away.
"Let's get you cleaned up" Dom said, getting on his feet.
"No let me join her" Aliyah offered as she get on her feet. "Excuse me dad" she said to Grayson.
"Sure" Grayson said.
I look at Dom. He nod at me as he sat back on his seat.
I look back at Aliyah. She is smiling at me as she walked towards me.
Dom held my hand a little before letting me go.
"Come on let's go" Aliyah said, extending her hand to me. I placed my hand on hers, we both head for the stairs.
Aliyah is taller than I am but she is skinner. Brunette like mine and seem to be nice like her father.
"I am sorry about the maid's clumsiness" She said as we walked along the hallway.
I give her smile. "It's okay"
"They are hardly reckless. I wonder why she had to be reckless today of all days" she said.
Well my English teacher has a hand in it so yeah that explains it.
"Why was aunt Tamara laughing like that?" She asked.
She enjoys humiliating me.
Mainly because I own the man she can't have.
"We don't get along" I said, shrugging.
"Oh. I sense jealousy" she said, making me look at her.

I nod.

We got to my door and I open it. We both walked in.
"This is a perfect room" she said.
"Yeah. I have you and your family to thank for that" I said as I walk towards the walk in closet. I search for another dress and bring out a green above the knee dress.
"What about Luca?" I heard her ask. "I wanted to ask the Alpha but this had to happen.
"He couldn't come. The Alpha made him stay so he can handle some pack work" I said as I strip off my messed up dress.
"Oh right. Pack work. Never ending." I heard her say.
I put on the green dress effortlessly before going back to the room.
She is seated on the bed but stand on her feet the minute she saw me. Her eyes are on my green dress.
"Wow. I love the dress." She said, admiring my dress.
"Really?" I asked, smiling.
"Absolutely. Why didn't you wear it the first time?"
I chuckled.
"Well it is good you didn't wear it, if you did, it will get messed up just like the other" she said.
"Exactly" I said, turning to the mirror. "Clara got it for me" I said as I arrange my hair.
"Luca's mate?"
I turn to her. "Yeah. You know her right?"
She nod. "Yes I do. You know Luca and I use to be friends but he found his mate and we became distant. He use to visit us but after finding his mate, he stopped coming"
She doesn't seem happy about Luca finding a mate.
"But hey, I got a mate too and finally getting married" she said, smiling.
Is she really happy about that?
"Are you happy about getting married?" I asked.
"Sure I am. Why do you ask?"
"You looked sad when you talked about Luca finding his mate"
She shrugged. "The thing is, I had a crush on Luca. He didn't know. He only saw me as friend. I knew that but I kept falling for him. Then he found his mate. That was a wake call. He is never going to be mine."
I felt my heart clench for her.
"The moon goddess had other plans for me. She gave me Alex." She said, chuckling a little.
"Alex is everything. He loves me. And that's all that matters" she said, nodding.
"What about you? Do you love him?" I asked.
She heaved a sigh. "I am learning to"
I kept staring at her.
"I believe I will surely love him as much as he love me. He is adorable. What's there not to love?"
I give her a smile.

She isn't looking forward to destroy what Luca and Clara have.

"I don't even know why I am telling you this" she said, chuckling.
I smiled again. "I guess you trust me with your feelings "
She smiled. "Yeah you look like someone I want to be good friends with."
"You too. But not best friends though. I already have a best friend and she doesn't like sharing that position " I said.
We both chuckle.
"You are lucky though. To be Alpha Dominic's mate. That's huge"
I give her a little smile as Dominic clouded my thoughts.
"How has it been?" She asked.
"Awful at first"
She raise her brow.
"Yeah. Mainly because I am a human and you know, humans killed his late wife"
She nods. "Yeah that was awful. Aunt Sophia was a very lovely woman"
"Do you knew her very well?" I asked.
"Hmm to an extent. Luca got most of his looks from her."
Geez. She really do like Luca.
"She is so accommodating and nice. What happened to her was terrible"
I nod. "Alpha Dominic was mean to me because people like me killed her."
"I understand his pain. But that doesn't mean he should blame it on you" she said.
"It took him time to realize that. Now he has changed "
She hummed. "As in change change?" She asked, winking at me.
I blush hard.
She chuckled.
"My dad told me how he was staring at you while he was introducing you."
I blush again.
"That's adorable. I am glad he came around. The mate pull is not something we can control. More reason I am certain that I am going to fall in love with Alex. Just a matter of time"
"Yours is a living prove" she said. "Alpha Dominic has fallen in love with you"
I look at her. "He hasn't said that to me"
"He will. Soon." She said smiling at me.
I smile as well.
"Let's go down. Your mate must be waiting " she sang.
I chuckle as we both head out of the room.
Aliyah went on and on, making me laugh till we got to the dinner table.
"Whoa. Few minutes in and you both are now best buddies aye?" Grayson said, making us chuckle as we go back to our seats.
"You look stunning " Dom said to me.
I give him a smile. "Thank you"
My eyes went to Miss Kent. She is scowling at me.
I scoffed internally as I focus on my meal. I look towards Aliyah and Alex. He is telling her something and she is smiling happily.
I hope she falls in love with him. They look perfect together.

I look at Dom.
He is eating his meal.

I look at her, scoffing. Oh now she is pushing it.

She shrugged. "We are asking a question"
I scoffed internally.
"Aren't we Catherine?"
"Of course we are Tams" Catherine said.
"No mum that is disrespectful " Aliyah spoke up.
"Aliyah " Catherine called.

Catherine scoffed.
"I think you should apologize, aunt Tamara" Aliyah said.
Tamara's face twitched. "What?"
"Apologize Tamara" Dom ordered.
She looked at me.
I raise my brow at her proudly.
She clenched her jaw.
I chuckle internally.
"I am sorry for that" she said.
"Apology accepted" I said as I pick up my drink and sip.
"So....back to my question" Grayson continued.
I smiled at him, feeling Miss Kent's burning eyes on me.

The ray of the sun hitting my face made me stir on the bed.
It is morning already.
Sighing, I move my hands on the bed, hoping to cuddle my mate but the bed is empty with just me on it.
I open my eyes, siting up tiredly.
I rub my eyes as I look around for him.
Next he is walking out of the bathroom in just a towel wrapped around his waist but his V-line is on full display.
I gulped shamelessly.

His hair and bare body is dripping wet and smoke is steaming out of his body.

"They brought breakfast for us" he said, pointing at a cart next to the nightstand.

I let out a breath as I move towards the cart through the bed.
I get on my feet and reach for the meal. We are having pancakes, eggs, bacon and milk.

I dig into mine instantly.
Not long, he came out of of walk in closet, on a grey sweat pants and black t-shirt.
God what a man.
"Aliyah wants you to join her and her bridesmaids in their Girls fun time" He said, as he pack up his hair in a messy bun.

"Really?" I asked.
"Yep. I guess her and Grayson love your company " he said.
I smiled as I sip my milk.
He walked towards me.
"Will you be able to cope?" He asked.
"Why do you ask that?"
"Well her mum and Tamara will be there as well."
I heaved a sigh.

"And I will be with Grayson all day. We still have a lot to discuss" he said, moving a strand of my hair behind my ears.
I shrug. "Don't worry babe. I will be fine"
He raise his brow.
I pause halfway on my pancake.
"Babe?" He asked.
Oh geez.
My cheeks heated up.

I look down shyly.
He reach for my chin with his fingers and raise my face up. My eyes locked with his.
"That's hot" he said making me blush hard.
He leaned in and press his lips on mine.
The kiss was short but freaking hot.
"I have to go now. Grayson and I are going to play tennis ball"
"Hmm that sounds fun"
"Absolutely. It's our favourite game." He said as he picked up a pancake and bite on it.
"I'll see you later" he said, chewing the pancake as he head for the door.
"Have fun!" I said aloud.
"Sure will" he walked out the door and close it behind him.
I heaved a sigh.
Bridesmaid fun time.
It will be fun. I can tell. But Miss Kent and Aliyah's mother will be a spoiler.
