Nandini's eyes fluttered when the sunlight fell on her face directly, Opening her eyes while adjusting her vision, An tired groan left her lips
Feeling an gentle yet firm hold around her waist from behind,
She looked behind herself, and her sight fell on abhiraj sleeping while snoring slightly in the deep slumber
An weak smile unknowingly forms on nandini's lips, as she raised her hand to turn towards him whole, Laying back while holding on his shoulders slowly
An whimper leaves her lips when an pain hits on her back,
"Ouchh" she cried out while laying back and looking at him
The slight pain was still there in her body and she felt her own body radiating hot waves, An blush crept to her cheeks looking at his half naked body
Although, it was not the first time, they were sleeping like this but thinking about how she was the one to ask for it, made her cheeks warm
Keeping her fingers on his cheeks and brushing softly, Nandini stared at his sleepy face,
Looking at his rolled moustache, thin lips in pout, cheeks squished in sleep and eyelids closed, An smile forms on her face, he has gained weight after their marriage and she is proud of it
The smile on her face turned into shock, when she suddenly felt her body being pushed on the bed and abhiraj hovering over her in swift moment
Opening his eyes with an mischievous smile, he looked at her with sleepy eyes, "Itna niharti hai kya aap hame?" He asked in his throaty voice that send an shiver down her spine
"Nahi toh" an small reply escaped her lips and her eyes looked here and there but him

Chuckling to her, Abhiraj nodded his head in response " Toh patni hai aap hamari, aapke pass nahi aayenge toh kiske pass jayenge" he replied casually, while again bending to place an kiss on her other cheek
Touching her other cheek too with her palm,Nandini glared at him, "Haan toh hamse puchiyo toh harkat karne se pehle" she replied
Chuckling again looking at her, abhiraj raised his one eyebrow "Aapne hamse pucha tha kal vo harkat se pehle?" He asked, teaseness visible in his tone,
Nodding her head, while gazing at him with widened eyes, "Haan ji, pucha toh tha hamne, Aap hi keh rahe the aapse izazat lene ki jarurat nahi hai kuch karne se pehle" she replied with loud voice and keeping her palms over his chest, when he again bent to kiss her forehead out of adoreness
"Jhuthi, hamne toh baat kehne ki izazat di thi, harkat ki thodi, Aap per hi raha nahi jaa raha tha" He replied while looking at her in gentle gaze
Opening her mouth to say something, Nandini again closes it not having anything to defend herself with, An chuckle left abhiraj's lips when he sees her looking away with an blush and smile
Suppressing her wide smile, nandini again looks into his eyes but broke into small laughter remembering the time, An laugh also leaves abhiraj's lips looking at her flushed cheeks and an pure laugh
His throaty laugh sent an another type of attractive shiver in nandini's body as an small smile forms on her lips looking at his tired face, Keeping her palms on his both shoulders, Nandini mumbled
"Shukriya hamara kal itna khayal rakhne ke liye" her small innocence filled voice ringed in his ears, who smiled hearing her
"Shukriya sabd ham dono ki din-chareya ki baato se nikla dijiye nandini ji, Biwi hai aap hamari, aapka khayal rakhna zimmedari hai hamari"

"Aap mana kaise kar sakte hai hame?" She asked while glaring at him,
Looking at her by tilting his head, Abhiraj raised his eyebrows "Kyu nahi kar sakte hai hum aapko mana?"
"Pati hai aap hamare" she replied while pulling her body up and resting it on her elbow, Her eyebrows were still knitted in glare as abhiraj chuckled listening to her
Shooting an glare at him, Nandini pulled herself over him, Widening his gaze at her boldness out of no where, Abhiraj said "Aap toh jabardasti per utar aayi hai?"
Nodding her head, while staring into his eyes with intense gaze, Nandini looked at his lips and then his eyes again asking for permission
Shaking his head in denial, Abhiraj made her lay back softly, "Aapki tabiyat kharab hai nandini ji, Chup chap lait jaiye" he said sternly
Nodding her head with disappointment, Nandini turned her face towards the other side with an pout, Face palming himself watching her, Abhiraj hugged her from behind,
Turning back, Nandini looked into his eyes blankly and intensely

Nodding his head in agreement, Abhiraj stood up from the bed while entering inside the bathroom, Filling up the Mug with the water, he again kept that on the drawer beside the bed
Making nandini lay comfortably, He picked up the same cloth from the last night from the side shelf, where he kept it in the night when nandini got uncomfortable of using it

Widening her eyes listening to him, Nandini gasped and snatched the cloth from his hands, "Aapne ye kaya Kiya" she called out in disbelief and shockness

"Aapne hamare sabse priye dupatta kharab kar diya" Nandini replied with an hurt in her voice, looking at the dupatta while unfolding it with an pout
She shooted an glare at abhiraj, who sat like an obedient kid
"Maaf karna nandini ji, Hame nahi pata tha" Replying while looking at his hand, abhiraj heard an sad chuckle from her
"Ham aapse baat nahi karenge bilkul bhi" Hearing her hurt voice, Abhiraj looked at her direction who again glared at him and looked away
Scratching back of his head, not knowing what to do, Abhiraj peeked his hand in her hold and took the cloth
Folding it, he placed it on her head innocentely
Turning to look at him with shock, "Abhi bhi yahi kapda hamare sir per rakh rahe hai aap?" Nandini scolded him
Chuckling nervously, Abhiraj smiled "Abh dupatta kharab ho gaya toh abh kya kar sakte hai, Kam se kam istemaal me hi aa jayenge ese" he replied

Exiting the room, while taking an glance at nandini, who was still sleeping when suddenly, her temperature again raised
Abhiraj closed the door, Making his way towards the dining table, he looked at everyone who sat there, Benting to touch everyones feet as an greeting
Abhiraj pulled out an plate while settling the curry and other things in the plate,
"Beta bahu Rani kaha hai? Subah se nahi dikhi?" Aahana asked looking at him, while chewing on her own meal
But before he could reply, he heard the sharp voice of kaamini who interrupted in between
"Shaddi ke pehle kuch din bas khud ko achha dikhane ke liye kaam kar deti thi, Abhi so rahi hogi aaram se" Kaamini mocked,
Biting his lower lip in slight annoyance hearing her, Abhiraj spared an glance at her face, who smiled looking at him
"Beta me toh keh hi rahi thi, me achhi bahu dhundh deti tumhare liye, kya Jarurat thi iske sath bandhne ki" kaamini said as abhiraj's eyebrows knits in shock, He knew she didn't liked nandini but he never thought she will disrespect her like this
"Bua ji, Nandini ki tabiyat kharab hai isliye vo kamre me aaram kar rahi hai, Khud se baatein apne dimag me Matt banaiye aur Khanna kha lijiye Shanti se" He replied, irritation was visible in his voice which didn't go off guard from shivraj's ears
Sparing an stern gaze at abhiraj, Shivraj was going to say something when kaamini interrupted "Itna toh nahi bolte the tum, Usne aate hi batemeezi seekha di mere bachhe ko" she replied sounding to be sympathetic, while looking at shivraj who nodded his head
"Tumhe soch samjh kar bolna chahiye abhiraj, Bua hai vo tumhari" shivraj said with an stern voice
Shrugging his shoulders, while not caring more to engulf in bua's conversation, Abhiraj walked inside his room again while taking the plate in his hands
"Tumhari baat ko bhi nah kar diya isne, Isliye keh rahi thi me nandini se achhi bahu la sakti thi me, uss ladki me hai hi kya? Nah Surat nah achhi aadatein" kaamini shaked her head in disappointment and looked at her plate while feeding herself
Aahana and abhinav spared an glance at each other, Something was coming up and they could sense it
Abhinav raised his eyebrows towards aahana and signalled his gaze towards shivraj
Letting out an deep breath, aahana's eyes fell on Shivraj's face who looked offended
Shaking her head to assure abhinav, who looked concern
They both again devoured in their food, when aahana tried to clear the air
"Kal hame shaddi me jaana hai, abhinav ke papa, Aapne kapde nikal liye?" She asked, Earning an nod from shivraj, aahana shut her mouth at the thick air

Smiling to her, Abhiraj asked "Khanna kha lijiye fir dawai bhi Leni hai aapko, chalo" he said while snaking his arms around her shoulder, to help her get up
Sitting up while resting her head on abhiraj's shoulder, Nandini opened her mouth while closing her eyes, when Abhiraj forwarded an morsel
Looking at her with concern, Abhiraj placed an peck on her forehead and fed her slowly making small morsel to make it easy for her to swallow
Finally standing up to take the plate with him, Abhiraj made her lay and wringed the cloth, keeping it on her forehead
Entering inside the kitchen, His eyes fell on Nisha kaki and aahana, who were washing the dishes, Aahana looked at him with awkward gaze
Keeping the plate on the slab, Abhiraj turned to look at aahana, wanting her to say something
"Sahi kiya tumne" aahana said with an smile, while turning to him
Drying her hands in air, she ruffled abhiraj's hairs with an caressing smile on her face and gentleness in her touch
"Papa naraz honge" He replied with an guilt in his voice
"Hain, per koi baat nahi, unhe me sambhal lungi" she replied while cupping his face
Nodding his head, Abhiraj hugged her with an smile, Aahana smiled in awestruck feeling and mumbled asked "Nandini ki tabiyat kaisi hai beta?"
"Itni khaas theek nahi hai, Abhi dawai hi lene aaya tha" he replied with an smile, pulling away
Nodding her head, aahana turned and pull out thd medicine from the shelf and gave them to him, "Kaadah banau uske liye?" She asked while taking out the utensil by herself
Shaking his head in denial, Abhiraj took the utensil and kept it on the stove, "mein banaunga" He replied with an confident smile
Chuckling while hearing him, aahana stood there while crossing her arms on her chest, "Me bhi dekhu kese banaoge tum"
Assuring her with an smile, Abhiraj started cooking, Finally being done after an hour, Abhiraj showed it to aahana who was reading newspaper while glancing at his work in between too out of concern
"Zehar lag raha beta ye" she said in horror looking at the deep green colour of the soup, Scratching back of his head in confusion, Abhiraj asked "Taste it"
Widening her eyes, while shaking her head in denial, "Esi darawani chij me taste nahi Karu, Tum Karo"
Abhiraj whined while forwarding the soup towards her but aahana kept denying
Finally nodding his head in failure, Abhiraj pulled out an spoon from the shelf and filled it up with soup
Blowing to it, he spared an glance at aahana who gave him an thumbs up
Smiling looking at her, Abhiraj tasted it with his eyes closed
"Kaisa hai?" Aahana asked quickly when she saw him still closing his eyes with an weird face
Opening his eyes, while looking at her with widened eyes, An wide smile forms on abhiraj's lips, "Achha hai" he complimented
Aahana smiled listening to him and taking spoon from his hands, she devoured an bite and her eyes also widened "Ye toh sach me achha hai, Me Khalu?"
Chuckling while listening to her, Abhiraj nodded his head, "Kha lijiye, me dusra bana leta hu"
Face palming herself while listening to him, Aahana pulled his ear, "Taki ek or ghanta tum yahi khade raho haina?, Jao nandini ke pass bichari intezaar kar rahi hogi tumhara" she scolded him who looked at her with pleading eyes
Smacking his head a little, Aahana pushed him outside the kitchen
Entering inside the room, Abhiraj's eyes fell on nandini who was laying on her stomach, His gaze that held an smile quickly takes up concern when he heard the sounds of her deep breathings and shivering body
Keeping the soup on the side table, Abhiraj made his way towards the cupboard
Bringing out an beige shawl from the cupboard from his section now, He sat beside her again
"Nandini ji" He called her and nandini's eyes slowly opened, Only tiredness was visible in her eyes while sleep was long gone
"Aap kaha reh gaye the?" She asked softly and politely
"Aapke liye kuch banaya hai hamne" he replied with an wide smile, Forcing an weak smile on her lips, Nandini asked with awestruck feeling
"Kya banaya hai?"
"Dekhiye" abhiraj said in excitement and showed her the bowl, Sitting up slowly and weakly, Nandini peeked into the bowl, Glancing at his face in horror she asked "Yeh kya zehar dene ki koshish kar rahe hai aap hame?"
Looking at the soup, Abhiraj couldn't deny either that definitely looked like a witch cooked poison, Thinking for some moment, Abhiraj's mind lit up with an idea
"Karele ka Kaadah hai nandini ji" He replied with an smile
The horror on nandini's face changed into more terrifying look, "Hame nahi pina, karele ka Kaadah"
Suppressing his smile looking at her face which again looked into the bowl and looked away, "Ese thodi hota hai fir aap theek kese hongi?" He asked pretending in an stern voice
"Ham ek hafta lekar theek ho jayenge per ye nahi khayenge ham" she replied while pushing away the bowl, when he forwarded it
"Nahi aapko pina hi padega" Abhiraj replied sternly while forwarding the spoon again, Nandini closed her mouth and looked here and there to avoid
"Aapko pata hai karele sehat ke liye faidemand rehta hai, Abh bachho ko taraf bahane matt lagaiye, Baad me toffee de denge ham aapko" Abhiraj said scolding her while pointing out the toffee word, making her remember how she said the same
Glaring at him, Nandini whined but lost at the end and opened her mouth to drink the soup
The tightly closed eyes of hers soothened as she looked at him with soft gaze , "Ye toh kadwa nahi hai"
Chuckling while listening to her, Abhiraj nodded his head and fed her again, "Mazak me hi keh sakte hai hum ki badla lenge, Biwi hai aap hamari aapke hath ke thappad kha lete hai hum, Karele toh dur ki baat hai"
An smile forms on nandini's lips hearing as she again opened her mouth to drink the soup, "Kitne pyaare hai aap, Jab ham sahi ho jayenge toh aapke liye aapka manpasand Khanna banayenge, Kya pasand hai aapko?" She asked softly
Abhiraj smiled hearing her and replied quickly with excitement, "Kachori aur dahi"
Nandini nodded her head with an confident smile, Finally making her eat the bowl
Abhiraj took the shawl that was kept on his laps and unfolded it
Wrapping it around nandini for two times, He tied it in an knot inside, "Abh aapko Sardi nahi lagegi" he said with smile and sat back to look at her, who looked like an brown bear with the shawl wrapped around her
Chuckling while looking at her, Abhiraj sat beside her and pulled her closer and rest her head on his chest, stroking her back softly while pressing equally at some places to soothen her back pain
"I love you abhiraj ji" Her voice ringed in his ears, when she snuggled more into his chest and said, Smiling to her Abhiraj asked "Kisne seekhaya ye aapko?"
Nandini smiled cheekily while looking at him, with tired eyes, "Abhinav ji se pucha tha hamne ki jab aap kisiko ko pyaar karte ho toh aap kya bolte ho angreji me" she replied with an shy smile
Nodding his head in amusement, he asked further "Aur kya pucha tha aapne uss bewakoof se?"
"Bewakoof Matt bola kariye unhe" Nandini quickly replied while glaring at him, who shut his mouth and nodded his head
"Vo aapke baare me itna pyaar se bolte hai aur aap unhe bewakoof bulate rehte ho, hamne unse pucha tha ki ham aapko kya bula sakte hai aapko pata hai unhone hamari kitni maddat Kari" Nandini scolded him who looked down listening to her
"Maafi nandini ji, aur kya maddat Kari usne aapki?" He said while looking at her, Who blushed in no time
"Hamne unse pucha ki ham aapko kya kya bula sakte hai" nandini said while playing with his gold chain shyly
"Aur unka jawab kya tha?" Abhiraj asked feeling butterflies in his stomach,
"Donkey"
The smile on abhiraj's lips dropped when he heard her, who quickly hid her face in his neck thinking she called him sweet names
"Vo bewakoof hi hai" he called out in offended way when nandini knitted her eyebrows and with the sweet bickering and care for each other, There day ended
